I enjoy staying at the hotel, staff were very helpful with the suitcase, and other havey things that I was taking to my room, but my knees couldn’t take the up and down of the stairs that I had to stay upstairs when I should be going places.

The historical significance of the hotel, some of the original details still preserved, it'5s central location and reasonable rates.

On some shifts, the workers seemed distracted with their phones and came short of extending a welcoming environment. The windowless room. I did stay a 2nd time and made sure to book one with a balcony.

Camas cómodas, habitación limpia, zona céntrica, aunque no hay mucho ambiente en el centro de la ciudad.

No tienen ascensor. Habitación con ventana que pasa la luz a las 6 de la mañana que amanece... Comunicación muy rápida y básica con la recepcionista, eché en falta más atención al huésped, ofreciendo información, solicitando feedback...

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is walking distance to restaurants, Cathedrals, shops and Plaza de Las Delicias. It is very unique and quiet, is an old building which I love. The beds are comfortable, they got hot water, toiletries, free parking on the street (9 spaces reserved). If all are taken, is not a big deal, there’s plenty of parking on the street. The are 75 ft away of Diverso and just next door is Capicu (escape room venue). Also, walking distance to bars and live music!

No hot tub, but is no big deal.

Second time here. 💯 recommended if you are looking for a small, super beautiful, calm, historic hotel in the center of Historic Ponce. No elevators. No restaurant, but they have a room for private events. Rooms are in the second floor. Beds are really comfortable, hot water, small fridge in the room, toiletries, all the basics. No hot tub or pool. Peaceful, very elegant. Always nice staff. Check in closes at 11pm. They have beautiful areas you can sit, and interior patio on the 2nd floor. Next door is an escape room (Capicu) venue and after (76 ft) it is Diverso, the best restaurant I’ve visited in a long time! You are at walking distance to many other places, steps to beautiful Plaza Las Delicias. They only have 9 reserved parking for 19 rooms, so if they are packed, you can find free parking on the street. Not a big deal. We saw police driving around frequently. The city is well illuminated, we felt very safe. Room was quiet, comfortable.

Descuido de las facilidades en pisos, pintura y mantenimiento en general. No habia agua caliente.

Me gustó mucho la limpieza de este hotel. Nuestra habitación muy limpia y cómoda. Personal muy amable y sobre todo honrado. Se me quedaron unas cositas en la gaveta y me enviaron mensaje con foto para que fuera a recogerlas

Aunque la habitación tiene neverita, me hubiera gustado un microhondas o al menos cafetera ya que el hotel no tiene restaurante aunque hay muchos lugares donde comer cerca.

La ubicación es excelente. Nos tenían reservado un hueco para estacionar nuestro vehículo. Habitación y baño grande y espaciosa.

Es un edificio ya un poco antiguo y eso se nota en las habitaciones. No tiene ascensor.

Each time that I stay here I like it more! The location is excellent. I love to walk around the Plaza and the nearby attractions. The bed mattress is SO COMFORTABLE! This time I reserved a room with balcony and enjoyed the view. Ah, and I am a Beatles fan and was excited to see their book in the lobby (see photo).

We liked how comfortable the room is, the beds is clean and just right, the room has high ceiling making it feel cozy, eventhough we had a room with no windows (an interior room) it felt private well lighted & at home (it did not feel like a closed in prison cell), the Boutique is located just about in the center of town making it ideally closed to everything, great food and very nice places to visit, like, the firehouse, the beautiful church, Don Q Rum house, the Japanese garden and lots more including the beach.

N/A, the building is aged but that is because this towns in Puerto Rico like Ponce are some of the OLDEST in "the New Spain", in the American continent, eventhough these are the oldest building these are very well taken cared of, just know you are stepping back in history and it still is a wonderful experience

O hotel é um antigo casarão bem conservado, histórico. Já foi um grande hotel, dá pra sentir pelo estilo da decoração. Perdeu algo do antigo glamour mas ainda vale a experiência. O quarto era grande e com teto muito alto, a cama também era enorme! Ao lado da praça principal, super perto para qualquer caminhada e passeio. Eles guardam vagas para estacionar o carro em frente, isso foi muito bom e conveniente.

Não tem café da manhã. O preço é caro... como qualquer hotel em Porto Rico.

Ubicación céntrica. Los empleados de ‘front desk’ son muy amables y conocen el área bien.

Los pisos de vinilo están en muy mal estado y necesitan ser reemplazados. El “Room Service” debe ser hasta las 11:00 PM, por lo menos.

I loved staying there, however the bed matress was thin after 2 days my back hurt.

I like past quite traditional hotels

Room with very high ceiling in an old building. You feel as of you were in the 19th century. Great for history lovers. Extremely well located, only a few meters from the central square. The shower was difficult to manage. Very loud noise from neighboring air conditioning which only stopped after midnight. The bed was very poor.

The room was spacious, the a/c worked perfectly, there were plenty of towels available and the employees were pleasant. Needs some TLC and a coffee maker in the room or some coffee available in the lobby. It was nice to park right in front of the hotel and there was always a local man looking to earn a tip to guide you in or out and move the bollards for you to drive away from the curb. The water pressure in the shower was ok, and the water was warm but not hot. Desperately need more lighting. Bed was ok, a bit on the firm side. The two chairs in the room were acceptable, and the mini fridge worked for keeping water chilled.

1. Room 206 had a leak in the ceiling; during a rainstorm we were woken up by dripping water on our heads at around 3am. We couldn't move the bed, so we changed positions and tried to sleep until morning. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk as we left our room for the day. When we returned at around 7pm, I asked the night shift employee if she was aware that the ceiling had a leak, and she indicated she would follow up on this. At around 8pm the front desk employee sent me a text (no phones in the room) asking if we wanted to move to another room. However, since we were checking out the following morning and there didn't seem to be a forecast for rain. We opted to stay in the room. 2. Room and bathroom dark, not enough lighting and no windows. 3. No coffee maker in the room. The front desk person offered us a small drip coffee maker and coffee/cups/sugar for $4, we paid the $4 but what a disappointment. The coffee was the worst we've ever tasted and definitely not a brand from PR. This is from an Island where coffee is one of their specialties. Poured it down the sink and had to go to the local coffee shop around the corner for a tasty cup of Puerto Rican coffee. They need to seriously consider doing what most other hotels offer, a small coffee maker with Puerto Rican local "Yaucono" brand coffee pods. 4. The marble on the stairs leading to the second floor are in need of repair as there are many broken or cracked areas and dirt build up in the corners. 5. The floors in the room are patched in various sections, and those areas were spongy when stepped on, makes one wonder if one will fall through the floor. 6. The tv remotes are quirky and you'll need to figure out how to get to local channels via direct tv - a quick tutorial or channel lineup would've been helpful. 7. No kleenex tissue available in the room or bathroom.

Location and cleanliness

Homeless people roaming around and disrupting the parking process, poor WIFI that didn’t work 50% of our stay.

It's our preferred hotel in downtown Ponce. We used it frequently. Room: extremely clean, excellent bed and pillows, silent Reception: friendly and attentive staff Location: Near Ponce Square, restaurants, Cathedral, Town hall, stores.

Aunque en la reserva pone que el check in es a las 14, nosotros pasábamos solo una noche y salíamos al día siguiente a las 06am. No pudimos hacer early check in y eso fue un poco incómodo para el tipo de viaje que hacíamos

No elevador, pero las escaleras se subieron poco a poco. Entiendo que es un edificio histórico y hay que conservar tanto la estructura cómo la belleza. Muy lindo decorado.

Very nice old hotel that is close to a lot of restaurants. Room was well kept and had great AC. Front desk staff was exceptional, especially May who let me keep my bags there for several hours after check out.

No parking, front desk didnt show up till 20 minutes later just to say my online booking someone had called later and they gave it to that person. This was hours after i had already booked online. I left, didnt even ask for another room.

La chambre n'étaitpas grande mais la hauteur des plafonds (20pi) donne un sentiment de grandeur. Le balcon donne sur la rue et est "partagé" avec les autres chambres. Le lit est confortable, la salle de bain est bien. dans l'ensemble l'hotel à son charme est est très bien situé au centre de Ponce. Quelques choix de restaurants autour car l'hotel n'offre aucun service dans ce sens

La rue peut être bruyante jusqu'à 11h le soir. DEs voitures passent avec la musique à tue tête ce qui est un peu pénible. j'aurai aimé pourvoir prendre le dejeuner sur place au lieu de sortir. Une piscine aurait été un plus
