Hotel Al Walid

Overall, I had a very nice stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was great overall, except for the AC. It wasn’t working properly, and I had to call the staff every hour to turn it back on, which was quite disturbing and inconvenient, especially at night. I hope this issue will be fixed. Other than that, everything was really good, and I enjoyed my stay.

The location is good, but unfortunately, the room was dirty, especially the carpet, and there was a bad smell. The bathroom was okay overall, but the bathtub had a hole in it. When you step on it while taking a shower, dirty, smelly water comes out, which was really unpleasant and nasty. The bathtub also has only one door, and water gets onto the bathroom floor during the shower. I paid $55 for the night, but in my opinion, the stay was not worth the price. The cleanliness and condition of the room and bathtub need serious improvement.

hotel propre ,reception aimable, chambre propre, climatisée et calme , personnel serviable disponible et à l'écoute à proximité de la gare du train à pied surtout le matin très tôt pour aller à l'aéroport ou les taxis au centre ville sont introuvables. Le prix est un peu élevé ,pas de café inclus.

the bathroom was considerably dirty. there were flies, the toilet lid was loose and the water both from the faucet and from the shower were muddy. I was told that they had a problem with the sewage and that I should wait 1-2 hours for it to be solved, but 5 hours later - when I did the check out, the problem was not solved yet.

Convenient. We booked because it was the starting point of our 'Intrepid' tour of Morocco. Very close to Casa-Voyageurs Railway Station with train connection to airport and fast train stop to Tangier.

A bit basic as a hotel. Couldn't turn off A/C and other guests had the same feedback. Breakfast was a bit dissappointing. Staff were friendly, but only one spoke good English. Wifi was patchy and internet access broke down while we were trying to pay on a card, had t wait for a reboot.

Habitación muy amplia, bien equipada y limpia, ideal para familias. El cuarto de baño limpio y bien equipado, nos cambiaron las toallas y los geles de baño todos los días. Nos tocó una habitación sin vistas pero con el calor que hacía y al estar bien climatizada nos pareció mejor. El hotel está bien comunicado, justo en frente de la estación central de trenes de Casablanca y de una plaza donde hay para de taxis y de tranvía urbano.

El parking es el hueco de la acera en frente de la fachada. Si hay muchos huéspedes con vehículo no hay sitio suficiente. Los precios del servicio comedor eran caros, pero al rededor había una amplia oferta de restaurantes y cafeterías a mejor precio.

Priset var väldigt hög jämfört med vad man får på hotellet. Det kostade 850 MAD/natt frukost ingår inte. Inte ens en liten vatten flasla i minbar badkar var trångt nästan var farligt att komma ur.

Le seul problème était le tapis de la chambre, qui était vraiment trop sale.

Hotel confortável, limpo e muito bem localizado, especialmente para quem pretende utilizar a estação ferroviária. O quarto era espaçoso, a cama confortável e o ambiente tranquilo. Excelente relação qualidade-preço.

الغرف جددددا صغيرة وكان حجزي جناح والموظفة اعطتني غرفة ولما اصريت انه هذه ليست حجزي تم تغييرها الى جناح !! المكيفات لايوجد الا ريموت واحد لجميع غرف الفندق تطلبه عند الحاجة وهذا غير مريح للنزيل مديرة الفندق عابسة طوال الوقت ولاتبتسم

Salle de bains un peu vétuste

El detalle de dejar botellas de agua y algunos dulces de cortesía. Al llegar cansados y en la noche, fue una excelente y práctica bienvenida. La tina fue muy útil, ya no todos los hoteles tienen tina. Bunea ubicación, al lado de la estación de tren. Muy práctico para viajeros. Cerca de muchos café y restoranes.

La habitación no tenía vista pero como daba a un patio interior era muy silencioso, lo que al final era bueno.

Breakfast staff were more interested in their mobile phones than serving us. We were seen more as a nuisance than a customer.

It was close to the train station.

The hotel is very dated. The bathroom was shabby, bath stained and broken toilet seat. Carpets are thread bare. They want you to pay the city tax, but won’t let you pay by card. They couldn’t provide change for cash payment. We didn’t want our room serviced but they went in anyway. It is in an area that made us feel very weary of our surroundings. I would upgrade to another area if I came back to Casablanca.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Good value for money breakfast. Great location Staff able to fix the problem with the shower.

In an ideal location for accessing Casa Voyageur Station but quiet once inside. Some restaurants and small supermarkets around. Clean and functional rooms; I had a great sleep! Friendly staff willing to store luggage; spoke English well. Great value; not expensive!

Breakfast could have been better: coffee not great; bain-marie food was cold by the time I got to it. but it's optional so if you skipped the breakfast the hotel would be perfect!

My room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. I paid for breakfast, which was extra, and it was nice. It was Ramadan, and not many restaurants were open. The hotel was close to the train station and the light train.

The digital key lock was not working many times when going to my room. This happened so many times it wasn't even funny. Sorry, I hope you got this problem resolved.

L’emplacement proche de la gare et du tram. La chambre est spacieuse et agréable, avec un bon niveau de confort global.

Cependant, plusieurs points viennent gâcher l’expérience : à l’arrivée, la chambre n’était pas prête et une chambre non nettoyée m’a été attribuée. J’ai également constaté des insectes dans la chambre, ainsi qu’une intrusion du personnel de ménage sans vérification préalable. La salle de bain est aussi mal conçue, l’eau de la douche déborde facilement.

As a stopover and if taking the train to Marrakesh then Hotel Al Walid is perfect! It’s not in a particularly nice neighbourhood - but that didn’t bother us! Belvedere Cafe a short walk away offers the best Moroccan breakfast with the best Moroccan Coffee - perfect overnight stop for us :) It was also reasonably quiet given its location.

The shower has next to no pressure and the hot (if you can call it that) water took a long time to come through - in fact to begin with I just thought there was none but it came through in the end. We opened the window to let in the fresh air but no screens do we also got a buzzy mosquito bugging us in the night!

The hotel was a 2 minute walk to the train station which was very helpful for getting onto our early train to the airport on our way out of Morocco. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay.

We could not figure out the air conditioning but I am sure the staff would have helped us with it if we were not already too tired to go down and ask about it.

The location was good, close to the train station, which made our arrival at the hotel much easier as we didn’t need to take a taxi. The staff was very attentive.

The air conditioning was not working, which was a problem, as the sun hits the room’s window directly in the late afternoon, making the room feel like a greenhouse and quite hot. The balcony was dirty, with bird droppings, which made it unpleasant to use
