I have stayed at this property a couple of times due to dr visits. This time Simone remembered my face and was exceptional during the check in process. The hotel is convenient to food and shopping as well as 15 minutes from Duke Medical facilities.

The staff at the front desk, always friendly and nice. The oatmeal raisen cookies.

Great location for us during our stay in Durham. Plenty of free parking. Easy check in process. The breakfast was included and had a wide variety of delicious choices. The room was nice and spacious.

Our room was at the front of the building and there was a bench outside for people to sit. The noise got rather loud during the night time. I wish the lights were brighter inside the room and the pool wasn’t closed for cleaning in the morning. The refrigerator had a terrible odor but luckily we had a cooler. We should have told the front desk that first night instead of when we checked out. I’m sure they would have corrected the problem right away.

The staff at this hotel was very welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious! I plan to stay here again in the very near future.

I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. Because I had the breakfast at the Hyatt. In Charlotte, North Carolina, which was excellent, a one, and this one did not stand up. I give the breakfast AC.

My only complaint was the availability of the elevator during breakfast, housing keeping had carts and limited the available space in the elevator I was in a wheelchair and had to wait awhile

The women who work at the front desk are lovely. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The Salt Water pool was amazing. Family Friendly.

The sheets are NOT very soft nor the towels and the detergent used gave me a contact/allergic reaction.

Great customer service and overall good stay. Be prepared to get breakfast somewhere else it was nasty. The eggs were too fake the waffles were good but that's all. I would only come back because of the customer service.

Very nice hotel . The staff was excellent and very helpful . Very clean and quiet . The hotel was full and I barely heard any noise . Well worth the price and the breakfast was very good as well . This place has an excellent staff . Would definitely stay here again !

The only issue was beyond their control Durham had a transformer hit and lost power . But the room maintained a cool temperature .

The location was the perfect stay as we were near Duke University. Not knowing the area, it was very easy to navigate around. The rooms were much more spacious that I thought, and the cleanliness was outstanding from the rooms to the dining areas to the pool. I never once did not see someone cleaning, vacuuming, dusting or offering us help. The pool was the cherry on top! Gorgeous, clean, and was able to have a mini vacation.

Very good stay. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, TV hooked up well to my iPad and swiveled to the couch and breakfast was good with lots of options. We enjoyed the pool area as well, and the little sidewalk on the back of the property looked over a nature area. The only drawback was the door to the bathroom in the room- it was a barn-type door that was HEAVY and loud, with a gap to the room. Not conducive to a quiet middle of the night trip to the bathroom.

A very pleasant stay in a perfect location. The hotel is very well maintained with friendly service. We were on the top floor with a pretty view of the woods behind the hotels. The outdoor area around the pool is inviting. Nice place to relax with a cup of coffee. We plan to be back next time we're in town.

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. Upon getting into bed late at night, I discovered a bug in the bedding, which immediately made me uncomfortable about the cleanliness of the room. I brought the issue to the hotel’s attention, but there was little effort made to accommodate the situation or provide a satisfactory resolution. As a traveler, cleanliness and peace of mind are extremely important, and this experience fell well below expectations. I ultimately chose to leave and book another hotel because I no longer felt comfortable staying in the room. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their inspection and housekeeping procedures for future guests.

The location was convenient to shopping, food and Duke University Hospital. The front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly!

Everything was excellent. Could use some new mattresses, they were quite soft and mushy in the middle, the room was super clean though and the staff was awesome and amenities were great.

The facilities were okay. The bathroom in our room needed more intentional cleaning and maintenance. The carpet needed a refresh or some baking soda.

The friendliness of Lisa at reception on check in really set the standard for how to make a good first impression. The hotel is modern and very clean throughout with good facilities.

Das hat uns gut gefallen, auch dass es Porzellan und Besteck gab. Die Frühstückszeiten waren auch sehr gut. Dieses Hotel hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir während unserer Reise ein zweites Mal dort gebucht haben. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich hatte aus Versehen unser Zimmer doppelt gebucht und die 2. Buchung wurde direkt ohne weitere Kosten storniert. Dies fanden wir sehr entgegenkommend. Wir haben nun für uns eine neue Hotelkette entdeckt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall in Zukunft wieder bei Hyatt Place buchen.

Breakfast can be improved: the "fresh" cut fruits did not taste good at all, they seemed to be previously frozen. Also, they ran out of scrambled eggs on our last day (Saturday 3/28) at about 9:45am. I asked the staff if they are still planning to replenish it. It would have been fine if she had just said, no, since breakfast closes at 10am. She didn't give me an answer, she opened the lid to verify, and took the blue pot inside the kitchen so I thought she went to get more eggs. I waited 5 minutes and asked her again if the eggs were going to be replenished, this time she responded but in a not so friendly tone, "they are being cooked". I waited until breakfast closed and the eggs never came :(

Loved the area! Staff were remarkably friendly and welcomed us when we arrived before our check in time and accommodated us when our flight time changed. It was a great experience!

Our two night stay was enjoyable up until the last morning when housecleaning came in at 11:30 AM (checkout is 12 and we actually had a 1 PM late checkout - even used their sign to indicate not to enter) and threw away everything in the room, including food we bought in fridge and miscellaneous stuff we picked up at the store. The cleaning staff continued to make the bed until we asked her to leave. The front desk chalked it up to a miscommunication, but I’m still puzzled why our room was being cleared out before the typical check out time and with our items still in the room.

I stayed at the Hyatt recently with my team and I was more than impressed. The staff made sure we had absolutely everything we needed and was more than accommodating. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!
