Our stay at Palazzo Guicciardini was wonderful! The room was absolutely beautiful, with stunning vaulted ceilings and 16th century frescos that captured the charm and elegance of historic Italy while still providing all the comfort you could want. It truly felt like staying in Italy rather than a generic hotel! The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, making it easy to relax after a day in the heat! A perfect blend of old world character and modern conveniences was perfectly executed. The triple room was the perfect option for our family where our 15 year old had his own bed without a separate room fee! Overall this was an exceptional place to stay. I would choose Palazzo Guicciardini again on any future visit to Florence and would happily recommend it to others looking for a similar experience of private old world charm!

My only suggestion would be to add a small led lighting strip or motion sensor light on the step leading to the bathroom. In the middle of the night, when the room is dark and you are in unfamiliar surroundings, the step can be difficult to see. I tripped over it a couple of times, and a simple lighting solution would make a nighttime navigation much safer!

El aire acondicionado no enfriaba la habitacion, se sentia humedad dentro de la habitación. Nos faltaron toallas, shampoo y agua para tomar, teniamos que estar solicitando estas cosas.

Breakfast was beautiful and abundant. Quiet yet conveniently located to everything. 15th century building with gorgeous painted ceilings though a hotel only 10 years old. We felt so special and safe. Only a few rooms and it felt intimate and truly perfect.

Definitivamente a cama é péssima. O colchão apresenta um afundamento significativo. A maior utilização que se faz num quarto de hotel é a cama e o banheiro. E, neste caso, a cama é muito ruim. Não dá para compreender que, com poucos quartos, os colchões não possam ser trocados quando estiverem ruins. Não se trata de um hotel comum com recepcionistas o tempo todo. Toda a comunicação tem que ser feita por mensagens pelo telefone. O café da manhã é uma bandeja com alguns poucos itens.

Acomodação fantástica. Era como estar alojado no século XVII, com conforto.

Duas camas de solteiro, uma ao lado da outra, não equivalem a uma cama de casal.

Onze kamer was prachtig. We hadden het gevoel alsof we in een museum overnachtten. De valet dienst voor de auto ging vlot.

De airco in onze kamer was beperkt in werking en een beetje muf.

Large, clean rooms with frescos on the ceilings. TV, fridge, Wifi and AC system - all clean and worked well. The location is great - away from the main city area, but only a 5 min walk to Ponte Vecchio. Many shops and restaurants nearby.

The room was massive with beautiful frescoes and windows. Bed was large and very comfortable with the tv at its foot. Breakfast was delicious, best croissants we’d had in all Europe! There’s even a gorgeous sitting room for any to use.

The beautiful ceiling paintings and great location

The room was beautiful

Although beautiful to look at and with a comfortable bed it was all style over substance. The only full length mirror was inside a wardrobe in a part of the room with no lighting. The only lamp next to a chair was plugged in to a socket that didn't work. It was apparent that there was only one iron and one tiny ironing board in the whole place. This resulted in us going out one evening in un ironed clothes because the staff said the iron was in another guests room and they couldn't go and get it because the guest was out. They then claimed the same thing the following morning when we still hadn't received the iron for our use. Quite frankly this was ridiculous and unacceptable. For the price of the room there should be an iron in each one - in the UK the cheapest hotel rooms all have irons and full sized ironing boards. It was a dreadful experience.

Grote ruime, propere kamer. Super mooie schilderijen, je voelt je meteen in de Florentijnse sfeer komen. Behulpzaam personeel. Ontbijt erg goed voor maar 3€ pp. De kamer is tegenover de receptie dus soms hoor je wel mensen praten, maar niet erger dan wat je in elk ander hotel hoort op de gang. Er zijn ook maar 8 kamers in totaal. We vonden het er super rustig, ondanks dat je eigenlijk in een bruisende buurt verblijft. Je hoort helemaal niets van de straat. Top locatie. Niets op aan te merken!

It was confusing getting in. The staff was less helpful than any other stay on our trip. The room had an odd smell.

Lovely historic hotel in the heart of the city, a hop away from all the great sights. We spent time observing the Renaissance style ceiling in our room and the girls loved it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival time.

Breakfast was not buffet style but instead served, and while the pastries were delicious, there were no savory options.

Das Hotel liegt in der Altstadt. Unsere Suite war wunderschön. Es war ruhig. Wir konnten einen Parkplatz mieten. Zu Fuß sind die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen.

Es gibt ein italienischen Frühstück (süß, Früchte, Joghurt). Es ist zwar ausreichend, wer aber gerne herzhaft frühstückt, wird wahrscheinlich enttäuscht sein.

Just wonderful. Really friendly and helpful staff. Our room was stunning with really high ceilings and was very spacious. Excellent location just over the river, on a quieter part of Florence.

Purtroppo il servizio pulizie è esterno E alle 15 del pomeriggio la camera non era ancora stata sistemata (con una bambina piccola era importante per noi farla riposare in camera). Però hanno saputo accontentarci in fretta e hanno sistemato in poco tempo.

Unica la possibilità di dormire in una residenza storica, stupendamente affrescata e ben arredata, posizionata in modo eccellente. Ambiente silenzioso tutto il giorno. Letti molto comodi. Staff cortese e disponibile.

Moquette, tappeti e tendaggi richiedono grande attenzione alla pulizia, soprattutto per soggetti allergici (come me)

Breakfast was excellent, suited us beautifully as we didn’t need a cooked breakfast. The location is excellent, very central for walking to all places of interest. It was a pleasant change to stay in a small hotel with such personal service.

It would’ve been helpful to have some storage space in the bathroom and bedroom.

I liked the room, it was very elegant and big. The location is good, close to the touristic area, but not crowded. You can walk everywhere from the hotel. The staff was very nice, we had a pleasant stay.

The room was really beautiful! As pictured on the website. The bathroom was a great size and I loved the bathtub.

It was lacking a couple bits like an iron in the room and a kettle. The breakfast needs a savoury option as it was too much sugar for us, we’re not used to it so made us feel a bit ill. Over engineered lighting and air con, room was too hot and the air con was quite hard to keep on or bring the temp down. Also mosquitoes in the room so we got bitten quite badly…
