Das Zimmer war ruhig und sauber. Die Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel. Das Frühstück wird für ein Hotel erst relativ spät angeboten und der einzige Angestellte war etwas überfordert. Insgesamt waren wir mit der Unterkunft zufrieden.

Die Frühstückszeit sollte verändert werden. Und der Service sollte sich besser auf die Gäste vorbereiten. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, wenn die kleine Bar im Haus am Abend auch besetzt gewesen wäre.

Very friendly staff, we booked this very last min as we had booked another property which was terrible and felt unable to stay there. The beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious. Breakfast was a bonus and very tasty, highly recommend the eggs. There is a pool, sadly we did not have swimming things with us as we had not orginally planned to stay here. Free parking although quite tight spaces.

Vriendelijk personeel. Redelijke kamer, een beetje verouderd maar met een goed bed. De badkamer was klein maar met een fijne douche.

Het parkeerterrein is erg klein en moeilijk om in te manoeuvreren. Het ontbijt was karig en om 7:30 uur stond er nog niets, terwijl ontbijt vanaf 7:00 uur geserveerd wordt.

The staff were really kind and helpful. Also the breakfast was very good!

Spacious bedroom, lovely building and facilities, included a lovely breakfast which I enjoyed in their nice courtyard area. Lovely welcoming host at reception. Annoyed that I didn’t get the time to use the swimming pool that they also had to offer!

The room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was simple but tasty. Gluten-free bread was available. Also, the pool was a nice perk.

Das Hotel liegt in Laufweite zur Innenstadt und hat einen netten kleinen Innenhof, in dem man frühstücken kann.

Aufgrund der Lage des Hotels an der Hauptstraße war es selbst durch geschlossene Fenster unerträglich laut. Leider ging der Verkehr die ganze Nacht.

Het was heel fijn dat er een zwembad bij was. Ook de binnentuin was gezellig om te zijn.

Bed was goed, maar een beetje klein voor nederlandse begrippen.

I spent 2 nights with my husband in the hotel and we did like it. Very friendly and helpful staff; a very good breakfast and a lovely garden. Clean room and inside swimming pool. We definitely will come back again.

Struggling to find a didn't like!

I thought it was good value, I will go again, plus they could add sauna and jacuzzi which might increase cost.

Well, the bath jets didn’t work which would’ve been nice.Breakfast lovely, really nothing to dislike

Location was perfect for what we needed and the pool was a hit with my children. There was a good range of breakfast and drinks.

Dust in room. Kettle and tray dusty, bathroom was dusty and curtains were barley hanging. Window didn't feel secure. Door into room was not fully secure so felt unsafe. Only my husband could close the bathroom door as it was so tough and too big for the frame. Most plates and glasses were dirty when we had breakfast.

The hotel is a little "tired" now (stayed here before) and rooms (ours anyway) need updating and decorating as well us a rethink to layouts with old partially blocked off built in storage etc. Cleaning standard could be better.

Nice room, fan provided to cool room. Swimming pool area was clean and nice to use, private showers provided. Don't forget to take your towel down as not provided at the pool.

Pillows seemed very hard. No air con, noisy with window open. Couldn't black out the room. Room seemed cramped with the furniture that was in it.

Having a swimming pool available was really nice, especially for the price..

There was no lounge, though the fire plans indicated there was.. The bar was apparently available, though the lights had failed in there and it very much felt like an inconvenience for the staff to actually open it up, so we just played cards in the dining room.. With the room being so hot it would have been nice to sit in a lounge for a few hours..

Comfortabel, kleinschalig, vriendelijk. schoon zwembad en mooi hofje. fijn ontbijt inbegrepen. een "Faulty Towers" vibe, op een goede manier. De kinderen vermaakten zich heel goed.

Weinig plek om je natte handdoeken op te hangen. De afvoer van de douche was traag, maar het personeel heeft dit snel opgelost.

The hotel was small but comfortable. The pool was a perfect temperature and very clean. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. The complimentary breakfast was good. The bedroom was very nice.

It certainly isnt the ritz. Its ok.

The staff were lovely, chatty and kind. The young lad on reception carried my mum’s case upstairs for her. Everyone greeted you warmly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was a short walk from the centre of Canterbury, ideal for a base. The car park, whilst small was ample during our stay. It was spotlessly clean. The pool area looked amazing, we didn’t use it ourselves, but could see it was clean.

The only downside was breakfast. The buffet cooked breakfast was good and you could ask for fried eggs. The continental was adequate but only offered toast, cereal, pain au chocolat, Greek yoghurt and tinned peaches. Some other fruit would have been nice to have with the yoghurt.

Staff were great, breakfast was excellent, little garden for brekky was lovely. And they were kind about keeping our bags before and after check in.

Der Innenhof lädt zum Verweilen ein. Außerdem gibt es einen ziemlich großen Pool (allerdings im Innenbereich). Auch das Wasser im Pool ist angenehm warm. Das Frühstück ist super lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und reagiert schnell auf Anfragen und Wünsche. Ein unschlagbares Argument war für uns ein kostenloser Parkplatz.

Die Armaturen im Bad haben ein bisschen getropft.

Absolutely wonderful staff. Very helpful and kind. Everything clean and tidy, breakfast great and on time. Clear about allergy lists on foods. Bedrooms nicely made up. Good water pressure in shower too.

Building is old, but they’ve done their best to keep it tidied up.

Staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. They moved us straight away when they saw that I had a stick. The room had lots of space and little touches, like packets of biscuits and toiletries in the bathroom. Our room and the hotel was clean

The hotel, our room and the facilities were run down. Our bathroom door didnt even shut and lots of areas looked shabby and broken. The pool area was disappointing. Whilst the pool was lovely and clean, the edges of the pool and the walking areas again were run down and damaged. The sauna wasnt working and the changing room light didnt work, so we either had to get changed in the dark or keep the door open. There were no facilities onsite to get anything to eat in the evening. Breakfast wasnt ready when we came down to eat. Lots of cold choice but half the hot food hadnt finished cooking and we didnt have time to wait for it as we had an early appointment. My overview is that the hotel had recently changed hands and a small number of staff were trying to do everything, from reception to cooking to opening the pool to the cleaning. The hotel needs a lot of modernising but when it is, with the little finishing touches that they have already put in place, it will hopefully be lovely. Keep going and good luck with it.

I liked the welcoming attitude of the reception staff, the pool lived up to my expectations and they have a really nice garden with a cross range of furniture to aid a relaxing experience when using the facilities of the hotel. I would definitely stay there again if I visit Canterbury.

I would have felt easier on arrival if I could have reserved a parking space at the venue for the period of my stay, but the policy is first come first served basis.

Breakfast was very nice. Could do with a bit more selection like a choice of eggs but no complaints.

Klassische Einrichtung, sehr großer Schrank, Frisierkommode, Himmelbett, Ventilator . Innenpool mit Zugang zum Garten ist ein Highlight. Man hat einen eigenen Umkleideraum mit Dusche. Frühstück kleines Buffet incl. englischem Frühstück, wird immer wieder nachgelegt. Zur Kathedrale und Stadtzentrum sind es zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten. Von hier sind es nur 25 Minuten zum Fährhafen Dover.

The garden was beautiful, and it was very pleasant to sit there and have coffee after breakfast. It was also nice that breakfast was included. Having parking available was useful, and the pool was a nice feature.

The breakfast service could sometimes be delayed. On the day I had to attend an exam, the croissant and eggs were not ready in the morning. Parking was an important reason why I chose this place, but when I arrived, the parking area was full and I had to park elsewhere. I was told that parking could not be guaranteed before making the reservation; however, I probably would not have chosen the hotel if parking had not been available. After I insisted, I was eventually allowed to park my car.

le personnel était acceuillant malgré nos difficultés de language, le petit déjeuner, la chambre et la salle de bain très correcte et propre. Nous n'avons pas pris le temps de profiter de la piscine. A l'accueil, le responsable nous a permis - le jour de notre départ - de laisser la voiture sur le parking pendant que nous visitions la ville de Canterbury.

Staff were polite but aware that standard of the hotel was not great.

Room very shabby. Furniture badly worn, net curtains ripped, room in serious need of redecoration. Breakfast very basic. Showers for swimming pool very poor. They asked me to pay up front on arrival, which I did but wished I hadn't. Checked out after 2 of 5 days and struggling to get a refund. Told me to contact Booking.com, who told me to contact the hotel. Dreadful experience.

Horrible smell in bedroom. Breakfast was terrible. Sour milk in jug. Food left in direct sunlight during heatwave. Fried food looked cheap and nasty...

This was are 3rd stay here and it’s at a good location with extra bonus of a pool and free parking . Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Please note if you or any of your party have any requirements to suppott mobility needs there is no lift available and some rooms accessed via one or two flights of stairs. Advise request a ground floor room.

Some interior areas would benefit from an update but did not affect overall service and provision which was very good.

the hotel has no air condition at all and my room was genuinely hotter than outside, all they could offer was a bottle off water and a fan, I did not sleep. On check out I was not asked how my stay was and I had to rush to catch my train so could not complain

Staff were very nice, breakfast was good, the garden was nice to sit in, the shower water pressure was good. The hotel is in a good location and good value for the money. The pool area is kept clean and tidy.

The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable and lumpy. The towels had dirty marks on. At breakfast they kept running out of things including food, glasses and mugs

We were very satisfied with the warm greeting we received at reception. He was very helpful and friendly. The room was a nice size with a t.v and fan. The bathroom had a shower and bath which had the jacuzzi effect if you so wished. Plenty of fresh towels provided. Breakfast was included and had the choice of a traditional cooked breakfast or continental or both if you’re really hungry. Free car parking too.

Lock box for out of hours entry was helpful, lovely quiet room. Car park is very small so had to park up the road, which is permit holders at certain times. Convenient location, bargain price for so close to the city centre. Was working so only used it as a stop off, not there long at all. Very happy would use again.

Don’t like I couldn’t park so had to make sure I was out the door really early so I wouldn’t get a ticket.

We needed somewhere to stop over on the way to a Dover ferry, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Nice room and breakfast, secure off-road parking, handy location, decent price.

Nothing really. If the hotel had been a little nearer the centre of Canterbury we might have walked in to eat in the evening. But it was raining cats and dogs, so we got no further than the nearest pub (which was fine).
