I really enjoyed my stay at the Croydon Hotel. The location was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, I especially liked the quiet atmosphere and the easy access to Miami Beach.💕🇺🇸🇺🇸

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my stay. The service was not very good, and the breakfast was limited to only three choices. The eggs were cold. I also paid a $100 security deposit, but I only received $80 back. Overall, I expected better service and a better breakfast experience.

The hotel overall is decent. I had a standard king room, fairly spacious, with a partial ocean view, which was definitely a plus. Breakfast was good and included with the room, not a huge selection, but pretty tasty. The front desk staff were mostly attentive and responsible, and genuinely tried to help - but not all of them, a few just weren't great at being polite with guests. The location is convenient - quiet, but you can easily walk to downtown along a nice boardwalk. There's a little grocery store nearby, plus a CVS. The beach is right across the street, but honestly every hotel in Miami Beach is close to the beach :)

There is a problem with room cleaning. If housekeeping shows up while you're still in the room and you ask them to come back later, chances are no one will. After 5 days I asked for the bedding to be changed, and they couldn't get it done in one go - I had to remind the front desk three days in a row, which was annoying. Housekeeping may come in even if you've got the "Do Not Disturb" sign up - they don't speak English, and honestly I don't get why they can't learn that one standard phrase, since it's literally meant for them. The mattress was too soft for my taste, but if your back's fine, it's not a big deal. The pet fee was $250, which was a lot more than at other hotels nearby.

The highlight would the location - hard to find anything reasonable for that price in south beach. One of the hosts - Adriana - extremely nice and helpful, true gem.

There was a stand alone AC unit in the middle of the room with huge exhaust pipe TAPED to the window. Who’s meant I could open the window if I needed fresh air… also it looked like it’s a hostel not a hotel with that thing. The room was not cleaned for two first nights of my stay.

Frühstück nur bis 10Uhr möglich und Fernseher im Zimmer ist alt. Frühstück ein bisschen wenig Auswahl für meinen Geschmack aber ausreichend.

Sin dudas, la ubicación. El hotel está a una cuadra de la playa y tiene muy buen acceso al transporte. El trolley que va hacia el norte se toma prácticamente enfrente y, para ir hacia South Beach, la parada está a una cuadra y media. Para moverse sin auto es realmente muy cómodo.

El desayuno me pareció muy pobre para un hotel de estas características. Había muy poca variedad: huevos revueltos, salchichas, algunos muffins y pocas opciones más. La fruta también era muy escasa y, además, colocaban melón, uvas y, ocasionalmente, piña todo mezclado en una misma bandeja, en lugar de ofrecerlas por separado. Durante mi estadía terminé tomando solamente té y comprando por mi cuenta algo para desayunar. También mejoraría el ascensor, que era extremadamente lento, y la presión del agua de la ducha, que era bastante baja.

A l'arrivée 100 $ pour l'assurance de 4 jours. Obligatoire. Après protestation il concède de rembourser à la fin du séjour. 2 mois après, j'attends toujours ! Regarder un match du mondial dans la chambre il fallait un abonnement ! Le regarder au bar, avec une Corona à 18$. Le parking conseillé par l'hôtel 15 min à pieds sous le soleil. Un de deux ascenseurs ne fonctionnait pas. Embouteillage de clients avec le personnel dans l'autre

We stayed at Hotel Croydon for 4 nights. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist, and everything started well. We had booked a standard room, but when we got to our room, we found two large beds instead. Thinking it was a mistake, we went back to reception and were told that we had been "upgraded." Unfortunately, this upgrade came with a room where the air conditioning didn't work. Instead, we were given a portable AC unit that made an incredibly loud noise all night while barely cooling the room. We asked if we could simply have the room we had originally booked because it was impossible to sleep with that noise and the room was still too warm. The receptionist's reaction was shocking. She sighed right in front of us and remained rude and unpleasant for the rest of the evening. At that point, if you don't enjoy helping guests, maybe hospitality isn't the right profession. Thankfully, the rest of the staff were much friendlier and more professional. The breakfast was also disappointing. The selection was very limited and, surprisingly, there weren't even pancakes for breakfast... in America! Overall, this was not the experience we expected. A faulty room can happen, but poor customer service makes the situation much worse. Unfortunately, we wouldn't choose this hotel again.

Nous avons obtenu grâce à Booking.com la grande suite du dernier étage avec une immense terrasse panoramique à 360° offrant la vue sur l'océan, le boulevard et la ville au loin.

Le personnel peu aimable a refusé de faire le lit de notre fille à notre arrivée. On nous a simplement donné les draps sans même un oreiller. Son lit n'a pas été refait pendant plusieurs jours, sa poubelle n'a pas été vidée et on lui a interdit l'accès à la salle du petit déjeuner ! Un petit déjeuner d'ailleurs très inégal d'un jour à l'autre (buffet, choix à la carte ou plat imposé). Un service dégressif : serviettes changées seulement les premiers jours, absence de papier toilette le dernier jour. Pour résumer, vous avez le droit de venir en couple mais votre enfant même adulte ne compte pas.

I liked that it had a restaurant in the building.

Everything was great! Only exception is that the waiter staff in the Tavern restaurant did ignore or not acknowledge customers waiting to be seated.

Dormí 3 noches sin aire acondicionado, luego me Cambiaron de cuarto y me hicieron un reintegro de 120 usd cuando la noche la pagué arriba de 200. Luego el desayuno muy malo. Hay una sola opción de huevos balcón y jugo sin café. Un café 8 usd

I wish I could do 4.5 instead of 4 but there isn't that option. The only real issues were no microwave in room and the bathroom window wouldn't close. Everything else was amazing. Nice having a restaurant with bar there with delicious food, a pool, a rooftop area and spa.

Room was clean and comfortable

Lift wasn’t working had to haul ours bags downstairs on departure. Asked about breakfast and told it was only free coffee then the following day we received a voucher so missed one breakfast . My wife used the gym but most of the equipment was rusty and seized . The disabled lift in the swimming pool was also rusted solid looked like it had been like that for years . Overall the staff were nice and the room was clean

My stay was generally fine, but I was disappointed with the way a damage charge was handled. I reported a minor accidental damage caused by my son in good faith. During check-out, I was not clearly informed that a charge would be applied or what the amount would be. Days later, I found a US$53.50 charge on my credit card. Although the hotel later explained its policy, I believe this should have been discussed transparently before charging my card. I recommend that future guests carefully review any potential incidental or damage charges before leaving the hotel.

The smell in the hotel needs to be changed, there are no sunbeds for the beach, there are only chairs, the pool is dirty. And the most important thing is that when you ask if you can cancel the reservation and get a refund like all other hotels do, the answer is no. So I had to change the hotel and leave my money with them

- Receptionist upgraded us to a penthouse free of charge - Penthouse room was very spacious, had a fridge and freezer, and a small living room. There was also a balcony with the penthouse that had outdoor furniture and a view of the ocean. Really cool room. - Short walk to the beach - Free beach towels and chairs

Kahvaltı yanında aldığımız çaylar için ekstra para ödedik. Kahvaltı dahil olan bir pakette çay veya kahve nin pakete dahil olmaması çok garip. Hergün odamızı temizlemeleri talep etmemize rağmen sadece havlu bırakıp temizlik yapmıyorlardı. Otelin elektrik voltajı çok düşük olduğu için, elektrikli saç ürünlerimizi asla kullanamadık.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I had booked the hotel and provided them with my ID but unfortunately had my credit card stolen. They would not let me check in without a physical card. I kindly tried offering every other avenue including Apple Pay, cash, photo of card, check. They cancelled my reservation and WOULDN’T refund my reservation. 0/10 customer service. Do not book here.

This is a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The hotel has an old city feel but has been renovated so it is just as nice as any modern hotel. The onsite restaurant is great, especially for dinner. Drinks are expensive but it is Miami Beach so that is expected. It's only a block off the beach and there is a pool with some comfy loungers.

Coffee service is only from 6 to 8. Maybe extending it to 10 would be nice. No big deal though.

Location was away from everything except the beach. Last 3 days the housekeeping refused to enter room, no refreshing, threw bath towels at us, no face cloths, refused to remove garbage or soiled towels. One night it rained and the rain poured in through the closed windows, pooling on floor. Called front desk, maintenance gave me a towel for the floor and windows. Wouldn't move us to a non-flooding room. Upon check out was dinged for Peanut M&Ms which we didn't eat....peanut allergy!!! Attempted to email to inform them but it keeps bouncing back. Would never recommend and will never stay there again. Restaurant charged $7.00 for a coffee when you purchase room with breakfast voucher. One waiter was incredibly rude. Front desk staff very nice.

Chambre très spacieuse, emplacement parfait par rapport à la plage mais éloigné d'un peu tout à pied. Le personnel, très gentil, nous avait mis une petite attention très gentille pour l'anniversaire de mon mari. Très pratique d'avoir un restaurant intégré à l'hotel.

Piscine non chauffée, alors même en bonne période, elle est un peu fraiche ! Pas de possibilité de se faire un thé ou café dans la chambre (ca manque d'une bouilloire) Le prix reste cher notamment le petit déjeuner qu'on doit prendre dans le restaurant sans remise, comme les clients extérieurs. Pas de parking à proximité !

Schönes Hotel in zweiter Reihe mit typisch amerikanischen Restaurant. Freundliches Personal und aufgeräumte Zimmer. Wir waren mit 6 Reisenden unterwegs und kommen gerne wieder.

Hotel was at a good location to the beach and shops. It had a nice workout area on the roof where you have basic equipment to complete the workout but some dumbells were rusty so had to take care when using. They also had happy hr between 6 and 7pm for hotel guest which was a nice touch. Breakfast food was good.

You had to explicitly request your roomat reception to be cleaned, otherwise you'd come back in the evening and the room would still be undone even if you put the please make up room sign on the door. The breakfast service was slow, and most of the times we would notice people paying for their breakfast would get it a lot quicker than us(we had it included as part of our stay). On the last day though, we ordered our breakfast waited 1hr without anyone checking on us, eventually after 1 hr we asked why its taking so long and other ppl who arrived later that us were already eating, they said they'd check, they didn't even apologise for the delay, etc. They brought us bread and juice which was part of it but we were so fed up that we left, it was really disappointing to see such poor service.

L’équipe du soir : Adorable, accueillante et professionnelle en tout point. Un grand merci à eux pour leur bienveillance. L’équipe du matin : Malheureusement, l’expérience est radicalement différente. Entre l’hôtesse d’accueil et les serveurs au petit-déjeuner, nous avons eu la constante sensation de déranger. Le personnel semble peu habitué ou peu disposé à accueillir une clientèle internationale dont l'anglais ou l'espagnol ne sont pas la langue maternelle, ce qui est très regrettable pour un hôtel. L’hôtel est « dans son jus » et mériterait une sérieuse modernisation. Ne vous attendez pas à du contemporain : il n'y a aucune prise USB ou USB-C à disposition. Le comble de l'anachronisme : le radio-réveil est encore équipé d'un support pour iPod ! Petit-déjeuner : Je vous déconseille vivement de prendre l'option petit-déjeuner incluse. Le choix est limité, la qualité médiocre et, cerise sur le gâteau, les boissons chaudes (thé/café) ne sont pas incluses et doivent être payées en supplément. Conseil d’ami : Pour un rapport qualité-prix bien supérieur, rendez-vous au « Bon Bouquet » situé à 200 mètres. Le petit-déjeuner y est excellent et le personnel y est adorable.

La ubicación es inmejorable, a una cuadra de la playa. Te pasan sillas y toallas para la playa excelente servicio, solo falta el quitasol o sombrilla ya que el sol es muy intenso.

Poca información respecto al desayuno incluido, ya que no lo mencionan pero con el convenio del restaurante del lugar solo hay derecho a un tipo de desayuno (huevos, tocino o jamón o salchicha, más palta tomate o papas o fruta y un pequeño vaso de jugo de naranja). Y comer lo mismo 4 días aburrre. Tampoco dan la opción de cambiar por otro desayuno del menú aunque cueste menos. Otro factor que es importante es que la música del restaurante es demasiado alta, no se puede mantener una conversación.

We stayed 2 nights before our cruise and would definitely stay here again. Comfortable beds, very nice bathroom, good food at the on premise restaurant (The Tavern), easy to catch the free trolley. If you are a light sleeper, request a room on the upper floor away from the elevator. The staff are all very kind and helpful.

Our room had a portable AC unit and the window was cracked open. The AC unit kept going on and off, on and off all night and kept me awake. No parking nearby. They have a lot that is a 15 minute walk. Better off staying across the street at The Cadillac Hotel - nicer, beach access, parking.

Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant (Tavern) food was average. DJ in the restaurant in the evening was far too loud for a comfortable conversation. Most notable, however, the hotel has no parking. Closest garage they recommend is a half mile away.

Not a 4 star hotel but quite adequate for a few days.We stayed here on the return of a cruise for a night. The room was very nice only marred by the noise of air-conditioning unit outside and only a potable air-conditioning unit in room. Our room was opposite the only working lift on first floor.No view just a wall but for a night no problem quite adequate The bonus points for this hotel is location close to beach,nice small pool and 2 very nice terraces with great views We had breakfast in the Tavern but ate out in evening as bar very noisy and expensive. I recommend the Italian restaurant Piola 2 min walk away. So good we went back following day for a meal b4 leaving for airport It was very reasonabley priced and delicious.

Room too cold, and then covers made you feel hot. Pillows are NOT comfortable. Noise coming from I believe cooler, idk, but was increments of every 2 mins while sleeping. Never slept good throughout

Location was perfect, free trolley stop literally a block away to explore location further, fabulous local café & CVS near... enjoyed having restaurant on site… Service quite slow however… bed comfortable, AC phenomenal… Would stay again.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the hotel was very well cared for. You couldn't beat the proximity to the beach and the convenience of Primo Market. We also liked the Tavern, on-site bar.

The pool was quiet and clean, but very small and unheated. An elevator was down the entire stay, so we used the stairs. We thought the hotel was a little loud - doors slamming, noises in other rooms, etc.

Att hissen från receptionen inte fungerade. Fick gå ca 7 höga trappsteg till nästa hiss och den var den enda som fungerade på hela vistelsen. Musiken var för hög i restaurangen. Gick ej att samtala.

Ein Block vom Strand entfernt. Gratis Kaffee von 06:00-08:00. Schöne Rooftop Aussicht.

Die Dusche war nicht richtig geputzt und hatte noch Haare von den letzten Gästen als wir eingecheckt sind. Ebenso waren die Badetücher nicht gründlich sauber und immer voller Haare. Jedes mal wurde vom Zimmerservice etwas vergessen. Wir haben das Personal an der Rezeption mehrmals darauf angesprochen doch es wurde nie besser. Zimmer sind ziemlich hellhörig.

Decent beds

The owner. Too cheap or incompetent to get an elevator fixed for months. You have to carry luggage up some stairs no matter what. They blame the "management company" who is actually awful but it's just finger pointing. If you own the building you can fix an elevator.

pedimos un transporte por el hotel nos dijeron un precio y cuando llegamos al aereopuerto nos duplicaron el precio. La limpieza era superficial
