Chance upon the promotional deals at the Cafe. To my surprise, food turned out to be AWESOME. We ended up dining in the cafe twice. Keep up the good work for serving delicious meals.

Not a complain but to perfect the pasta dish, need to be mindful not to over do it. My pasta was slightly over cooked

The swimming pool is quite small and not alot of facilities for children.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping the room clean and tidy throughout our stay. The location is also very convenient, as the hotel is close to the customs checkpoint, making it quick and easy to reach after crossing into JB.

The corridor could be quite noisy at times, as I could hear children running outside the room. The hotel was also very busy during our stay, and with one of the three lifts not working, the remaining lifts were often full, causing me to miss the lift several times.

When on arrival it was heavy rain and I think the internet was a bit weak with the reception and my credit card kept declining for a few times and I was ready to roll around the floor as there are much funds in it.

The hotel is in a very strategic location, making it easy to get anywhere 😍

Room was with 2 queen size beds. As we were 3 guests, the hotel upgraded us with an extra cot at no extra cost. Location was close to Komtar and the JB Sentral. Breakfast had a good spread. We loved the Kids room with the Fusball and Pool.

The view from the room was facing the carpark of Komtar Mall. No bad experiences as such.

Construction, renovations going on all around this area. City Square mall which is a nearby mall is going through full upgrading/shutdown. Noise level of vehicles and motorists honking ramming engines at night lasts a few hours even though we were at 18th floor Booking.com reservation not recognized for ONYX points/rewards

Room was nice big and spacious. Breakfast spread was excellent with a wide array of different foods from various parts of the world. Staff at Front Desk and at the breakfast place was very courteous. Had an issue with the wi fi on my computer, which was instantly sorted by the IT guy who was so helpful. Location was good as it was close to the JB Sentral Station and the Johor Checkpoint- was super convenient for us coming from Singapore. Also, it is located in the close vicinity/ walking distance of Malls/ Night Bazar/ Pubs etc.

While the Hotel was located in the heart of the activity in JB, the access to the place because of construction around the area was a little difficult. However, once construction in area is sorted this won't really be an issue.

First time trying out this hotel just opposite City Square Mall. My family has rated the stay 5 out of 5. Room was spacious and nicely furnished. Water pressure was great. The 18th floor view was nice. We enjoyed playing pool and table soccer at the games room (at Level 6). The gym had enough equipment and was spacious. Hotel buffet breakfast had a wide spread and the food quality was good. Staff service in the hotel was great. Last but not least, there are many nice restaurants below (such as Haidilao) and nearby. And of course, shops too. Will stay here again in future 👍👍

Staff were unefficient, uninterested and not very helpful. Lots of staff on arrival floor, but have no idea or info when asked in Malay or English. Check in is at 3pm did not receive a room until 5pm. Room was not cleaned and bagged rubbish (from my bin) was left on my bed, on the 2/5 days I requested a clean. Bathroom is also full of mould.

Location is great. Room is spacious and clean enough. Decor is modern.

Didn’t like the view - as we faced the Suasana BnB. Hotel carpark need some do over eg: new paint. Pipe-in music in the lift and AMAYA restaurant requires something new or upbeat rather than just elevator music.

This hotel is definitely not a 5star hotel. Honestly, it’s more like a 3star place at best. It doesn’t even feel like a hotel it feels more like an apartment building. Breakfast was really poor. They didn’t even have some of the basic breakfast items you’d normally expect. The reception staff were very slow and didn’t want to take responsibility for their mistakes. When we checked in, they asked for our car plate number so we wouldn’t be charged for parking. But when we checked out, we were told to pay for parking anyway. After we complained, it turned out they had never entered our plate number into the system. Even though it was clearly their mistake, they refused to refund the parking fee. The lobby, rooms, facilities, breakfast area, location—basically nothing about this place feels like a 5star hotel.
