I will definitely be coming back Breakfast , staff and facility all were amazing great location a and a perfect place to stay in the Zona colonial.Also Jordan was a amazing front desk host .

Location is very convenient, plenty of things to do around. Staff were very nice. My favorite thing was the breakfast, I would say it is a culinary experience, a 4 course meal, very well prepared and flavorful. It is a very unique experience.

I think for the value, it is a fair deal.

Petit déjeuner très copieux et très bon même si il manquait le mangu traditionnel. Personnel globalement très accueillant.

L'acceuil et le départ ont été un peu décevants mais c'est davantage lié à une personne en particulier et à des difficultés avec les terminaux de paiement.

És un bon hotel per passar uns dies per santo domingo. Molt bon esmorzar, aire acondicionat a l’habitació i bona localització a la zona colonial.

Vam demanar si podíem esmorzar 1 hora abans i el recepcionista ens va dir que si sense problema. Però pel mati no hi havia ningú i vam perdre un esmorzar que havíem pagat.

Breakfast was excellent, a little bit too repetitive, but delicious, good presentation, and overall taste. Very friendly staff always willing to help with any request. All the desserts were absolutely delicious, a mango ice-cream or a dragon-fruit sorbet were mouth watering.

Outside of different versions of omlet there was not much of anything else. I mean breakfast consisted of a variety of tropical fruits, followed by a granola with yoghurt, then some bread with jam or honey or olive oil, and then different types of omelets, I believe there were 5 to chose from, all delicious and beautifully presented, and then finally dessert. Everything tasted great and all, so there's no complaining about any of that, but it's every day the same. I wish there was maybe some choices of sandwich with ham, prosciutto, cheese etc.

Fantastisch hotel met de meest vriendelijke, attente host David! Het ontbijt was fenomenaal. 4 gangen en het meest vriendelijke personeel. Kamers zijn niet heel groot maar van alle gemakken voorzien.

Si deseas estar en el casco antiguo a un excelente costo beneficio, este es tu hotel. El Desayuno es SOBRESALIENTE, te deja sin palabras. La atención de sus empleados (todos) es fantástico.

No es que no me gustó sino que deseo aclarar que hablamos de un hotel boutique comparable a un hotel de 3 estrellas super bien cuidado. Pero no deja de ser un 3 estrellas. No esperes más al respecto. Es probablemente el mejor 3 estrellas de Santo Domingo.

Such a great place to stay while visiting the colonial Santo Domingo. We especially loved the courtyard and pool. Breakfast was really outstanding. Staff was very friendly and kind.. Highly recommended to get the feel of Old Santo Domingo. We would return if we do visit again.

Exzellentes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl (Vegan, Laktosefrei,etc.). Alles frisch zubereitet und extra Wünsche wurden Problemlos erfüllt. Das Zimmer mit Terrasse bietet viel Komfort für gemütliche Abende. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem. Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in der Zona Colonial und man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss. Es befinden sich auch viele gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Ramòn und sein Team haben uns von Anfang bis Ende ausserordentlich professionell und freundlich betreut. Ramòn hat für uns auch eine kleine Geburtstagsüberraschung vorbereitet, was unsere Ankunft noch schöner gestaltet hat. Er gab uns auch viele Tipps für die Weiterreise, welche wir sehr geschätzt haben.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. As I had to leave early in the morning, they kindly arranged an earlier breakfast for me, which was greatly appreciated. The service throughout my stay was excellent, and the staff consistently went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant experience.

La bienvenida a la habitación con una bandeja con productos del país y una nota personalizada de su manager fue una sorpresa inigualable. El Desayuno es toda una experiencia gastronómica, cuidan cada detalle, se adaptan al gusto de cada visitante. La ubicación en la zona colonia es perfecta, calle tranquila y de fácil acceso a todos los lugares de interés. El hotel es tranquilo, aislado del ruido exterior, sus espacios son bien pensados, decorados con detalle, zona verde que da un toque de relajación. La piscina es ideal, luego de una día de explorar la zona colonia o simplemente para relajarse y disfrutar del buen clima. El personal que labora allí es atento, dispuesto y servicial.

Breakfast was exceptional. Everything was explained to us carefully and there were options to choose from a very nice menu. Ramón was specially nice to us and before leaving the hotel he gave us a free rum tasting and explained to us some of the methods and ingredients he uses at the kitchen.

Super clean and cozy, very tropical set up with pool and walking distance from the plaza and all amenities in the local area.

Nice little bar, but not sure if it was operational or we needed to call an attendant to serve.

Pour notre voyage , nous traversons la République dominicaine en voiture. Notre séjour à Santo Domingo a été d’autant plus formidable que nous sommes tombées par hasard sur l’Hotel Villa Colonial. Tout est très beau et confortable, le personnel est aux petits soins et très accueillants, le petit déjeuner est un moment inoubliable et très gourmand. Un grand merci à tous. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés ! À savoir aussi : l’hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter le quartier colonial.

Loved this place!! I was welcomed by Jordan who was super nice and friendly. The hotel is super well decorated and has a nice traditional feel while being modern and well maintained. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast. I only stayed for one night but I wish it was more. The manager (whose name I am forgetting) is also the cook, I believe. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Several courses and options but what made it feel so great was the level of service. He explained each option and dish and made the whole thing feel like an experience. Loved loved loved it!

Todo, sitio, increíblemente acogedor y con mucho encanto. El personal es maravilloso. Es un Hotel muy pequeño, pero muy acogedor y cuida mucho el detalle. La piscina, aunque sea pequeña da un plus al Hotel. El desayuno es una maravilla.

Sinceramente no se me ocurre nada que objetar, porque para mí todo fue perfecto… iba para un día de paso y me quedé cinco :)

Everything. My DR trip as a whole was pretty disappointing. This hotel, the staff, Santo Domingo...everything about this hotel helped with buffering some of my disappointment. It was an amazing respite. I am so so glad I decided to stay here.

Is so peaceful

L’établissement est idéalement situé, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement des alentours. Il s’agit d’une véritable maison coloniale, pleine de charme et d’authenticité, avec un cachet ancien qui fait toute la différence. La piscine est magnifique, et constitue un vrai plus pour se détendre. Les chambres sont agréables, avec une petite terrasse très appréciable pour profiter du cadre en toute tranquillité. Le personnel est particulièrement compétent, attentionné et professionnel, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Enfin, le petit déjeuner est tout simplement incroyable : varié, copieux et de grande qualité. En résumé, un lieu plein de charme, confortable et très bien géré — une excellente adresse.

Seul petit point à améliorer : le manque d’informations sur les lieux à visiter aux alentours. Quelques conseils ou recommandations de la part de l’hôtel seraient un vrai plus pour profiter pleinement de la région.

Great location, safe and could walk to all places in Zona Colonial. Breakfast was unique and delicious with plenty of options! If you give them notice they can cater to coeliacs with homemade gluten free bread which was challenging to find in the city. Clean room and decor felt modern. Air conditioning available and not noisy. Taxi was arranged to and from the airport for us by the hotel which was great. We wanted to make a special mention about Ramon who we felt went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Hotel pequeñito y con mucho encanto colonial. El desayuno INSUPERABLE…. El mejor huevo pochado he hemos probado jamás. Son cuatro platos a cada cual más rico.

El hotel está algo encajonado entre edificios. Las habitaciones un tanto básicas.

La colazione e l'estetica del posto erano meravigliose . Molto tranquillo e il personale era gentile. Molto meglio che un alloggio in un albergo generico senza identità dominicana .

Mancava un poco di cura , nel bagno il coso per appendere asciugamano era rotto , ho visto un pelo e un'unghia sul pavimento (anche se tutto il resto era veramente pulito !).

Le cadre de l’hôtel. La chambre spacieuse (à l’étage). La présence d’une petit table ronde devant les chambres de l’étage. Le plateau de bienvenue. La présence d’une petite piscine. L’emplacement.

Petit-déjeuner copieux et de qualité mais trop axé sur le sucré. Pas assez de propositions salées annoncées en dehors des œufs. Une touche plus dominicaine serait bienvenue.

The rooms were small. 3 people in the same room 2 adults + a teen. 3 beds right next to each other was like sleeping in a hostel.

Séjour vraiment exceptionnel, malgré la poursuite de notre périple en République dominicaine dans de très beaux établissements, nous restons nostalgiques de cet endroit ainsi que de l’accueil qui nous a été réservé. La localisation est parfaite et nous sommes tombés sous le charme de l’architecture coloniale du bâtiment. Le point fort de cet établissement c’est son personnel qui est vraiment aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable avec beaucoup de propositions sur mesure si besoin. Le coup de cœur nous concernant se porte sur les parties communes très paisibles lorsque l’on souhaite s’échapper de l’effervescence de la capitale ! Un séjour court qui donne un goût de « reviens y » Merci au manager et à tout le personnel pour leur travail !

Sehr guter und zuvorkommender Service. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichhaltig. Das Hotel liegt zentral für einen fußläufigen Besuch der schönen Altstadt mit Restaurants, Supermärkten und Geschäften.

Ambiance coloniale, très bon petit déjeuner , amabilité et le responsable parle très bien le français, il nous a bien expliqué les lieux à visiter, emplacement parfait pour la visite à pied de la vieille ville, chambre confortable, petite piscine pour se rafraîchir .
