Good location, late check-out was a bonus, restaurants in and annexed to the hotel were good.

Pool was pretty ordinary and roped so you couldn't swim more than a couple of strokes, no shaded area by the pool, no bar or food service at the pool, booked a double room but got assigned a twin room which they claimed they couldn't change when I asked for a double room as booked - they moved the twin beds together but not really what we wanted.

Excellent location, lovely staff, fantastic food, amazing views. Apologies for the lower quality photos as I took them off off a video I took of my room - as it was such a huge room with a beautiful sea view.

Breakfast selection limited not like before

Very convenient location — about 10 minutes by Grab to the Jesselton Point jetty (ideal for the island trips), close to the Filipino Market, and only around 10 minutes from the airport. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day, and check-in was quick and smooth. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. The pool was pleasant, and they kindly provided a baby cot on request for our 4-year-old. A solid, comfortable stay overall — we'd happily recommend it.

The breakfast could have offered a bit more variety, especially on the sweet/pastry side — though to be fair this was fairly common in most places we stayed across Malaysia. There is also some plane noise as the airport is nearby, but honestly it didn't bother us.

The Promenade hotel is a very functional hotel in a good location. It is good value for money and a central base from which to explore the city. The rooms are very comfortable with great views.

The swimming pool is very dated, impacted by the constant road noise. Access to it is also pretty ordinary down two sets of stairs. Only having one set of steps to access the main pool is surprising. Probably the worst designed pool I have ever swum in. Very few pool loungers. The lack of any attractive bar is also a shame. The top floor is club members only. We ended up using the rooftop bar at the Marriott across the road instead.

La suite était très grande et nous étions très à l’aise à 3. Une salle de bains avec WC et un autre WC séparé, une grande chambre et un salon. La salle de sport est accessible 24/24 et très bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner buffet est bon et varié, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Les restaurants de l’hôtel sont très bons à prix raisonnables. L’hôtel est très bien situé, proche du golf, face au front de mer, et à 5 minutes à pied du marché de nuit.

Nous avons très mal dormi et sommes tombés malade, en cause une climatisation qui tourne fort et qui ne s’arrête pas à la température souhaitée. Du coup soit vous la laissez et vous avez froid et la gorge sèche, soit vous l’arrêtez et vous dormez dans un four. Le matelas était également très dur. Autre point, l’hôtel fait tout payer au fur et à mesure. Donc pour commander du room service ou du laundry, il faut d’abord aller payer à l’accueil, pas moyen de mettre le montant sur sa note et tout payer au check out. Enfin, bizarre, il fait traverser la salle de restaurant pour accéder à la piscine. Celle ci est bien pour se rafraîchir, mais impossible de faire des longueurs à cause d’un mur et d’un câble au milieu. Et pour bronzer, il y avait un seul et unique transat. 😭

The hotel is strategically located near the waterfront, shopping malls, and many restaurants, making it very convenient for sightseeing and dining. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Some parts of the hotel appear slightly dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Parking spaces are limited during busy periods, and the access road leading to the basement parking is quite narrow, which can be challenging to navigate, especially for larger vehicles. The Wi-Fi connection could also be more stable.

Ich hatte im Angebot eine Junior-Suite für ca. 65€ gebucht, am buchungstag die preisgünstigste Unterkunft im Haus. Ca. 60qm, 2 riesige TV etc. - alles für mich vollkommen unnötig bzw. nicht genutzt. Sehr ruhig. Durchweg angenehmes Personal - allein die Vorab-email-Kommunikation sehr schwerfällig: eine Folge-Nacht in einfachem Zimmer war im Rahmen einer Rundreise pauschal vom Veranstalter gebucht, und ich wollte keinesfalls das Zimmer wechseln, gern aber beide Nächte im einfachem Zimmer verbringen. Irgendwie schien das unmöglich. Als ich jedoch um Mitternacht eintraf, erhielt ich überraschend beide Nächte in der Junior-Suite ohne Aufpreis. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksangebot

Im Pool hätte man ganz toll lange Bahnen schwimmen können, die auf dem Boden des Beckens farblich abgesetzt waren - wäre dies nicht durch eine mittig quer verlaufende und schwerst befestigte Barriere unmöglich gemacht worden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war einerseits super, andererseits EXTREM weiträumig verteilt, so dass ein Überblick schwer fiel. Es gab keine Tabletts, daher musste man für jede Kleinigkeit ordentlich Strecke machen. Das ist allerdings Meckern auf hohem Niveau

Basen jest do odnowienia, ale to nie przeszkadza. Mógłby być częściej czyszczony z liści itp. No i jeden leżak na cały basen to zdecydowanie za mało ;D

we went to breakfast at 8.30am, the food was almost finished. And to refill the food was taking a bit of time

only during breakfast time, the staff taking the fruit eventhough we have for 30mins more before closing

My only complaint was that the shower area was such that I had to climb into the bath tub which was quite high for me. I am recovering from stroke so I had to be very careful. It is not really condusive for elders too as my parents had the exact it was good but same opinion.

Not a fan of the bathroom setup. The glass door dont seal well, so there is very little privacy which is uncomfortable when sharing room

When we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, there was no porters to help with our luggage. We have to carry them to our rooms ourselves.

Najlepsza w hotelu była opcja dostępu do Loungu , to wysokiej jakości rozwiązanie. Shelly zarządzająca na XÎ piętrze to wspaniała osoba , bardzo przyjaźnie nastawiona do swoich gości. Śniadania bardzo dobre ,a posiłek popołudniowy to pełna kolacja a nie tea time. Panuję tam bardzo miła i spokojna atmosfera.

Poprosiłem o cichy pokój z racji rezerwacji opcji z dostępem do lounge na XÎ tak samo otrzymałem pokój , tylko że od bardzo wczesnych godzin porannych i po południu , w moim pokoju roznosił się nie do wytrzymania stukot , po jednej nocy zarządzałem zmiany pokoju , nie było na XÎ p , dostałem na X ale to już nie był ten sam standard, ale ok. Uważajcie na pokoje 1105 czy 1106 one są przy tych trzaskających drzwiach od serwisu
