Motel 6-Burlington, ON - Toronto West - Oakville

Location was convenient for a one nights stay. The employees here were very accommodating and friendly. We appreciated that.

This hotel is old. It needs beds replaced, lobby updates, room updates. The staff did the best they could to make the stay pleasant.

Chambre pas propre, pas de frigo, ni de micro onde.

Value and location

Fridge in rm 302 was leaking water. Had to put a towel in the fridge to soak it up.

Access to the highway

The motel seems neglected. Entrance doors to the hotel are very dirty. Staff at the check in counter have never been there when I arrived, about 3 times. Booked a room for 2 but only towels for 1. Air conditioner hard to control. The room was very cold and I couldn’t turn it down or off. The bed. a Queen, was very soft & squeaky. Pillows big and uncomfortable. There was a sign saying the elevator was being repaired and not in use but it was in use. When I questioned the employee on duty about it she said she didn’t know much but that the elevator was very shaky. It was open on the ground level and people were in it.

Staff was very friendly.

The soap

A clean well air conditioned room.

Wifi shut down at 10:30 at night. Learned this has been going for at least 4 days. No fridge.

The staff were friendly but the whole place smells of cigarette smoke the beds were dirty the curtains were dirty the walls had stains on them and others were complaining they had bed bugs so it needs a deep clean some paint and proper housekeeping

EIGENIJK NIKS

er zijn vaste bewoners, rare types, je hebt er een onveilig gevoel, en als je het motel opzoekt via google dan kan je lezen wat er al allemaal gebeurd is daar

Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, necessities in working order

No toilet seat lids

Location is handy

Generally this place is shabby and suffering from a general lack of maintenance.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. The room was big and roomy.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The property offers a decent value for the price

Homeless folks lurking around the lobby and property

We did not receive any breakfast.

Mix up at check in. The room we were given was not made up, so we had to return to check in and wait until they checked for another. Also we did not see any breakfast room, only a very messy coffee table.

Staff and parking

Everything other than staff and parking . They should just be transparent that the ground floor is rented to people dealing with homelessness and addiction. Nothing against them at all, but it’s something should know upfront.

No breakfast was available and the elevator was broken. They apologized for not having the breakfast available and said a manager would call us on Monday. I called them on Monday and the manager would not do anything except for offer a small discount if we stayed there in the next 3 months. What a joke! Absolutely terrible customer service.

Room was very clean and well laid out. Quiet nite in the hotel . Hallways clean and staff very helpful.

Unfortunate Elevator was out of service morning we checked out and breakfast had not arrived by 8.45. Oh well!

Extremely friendly, clean accommodating and great for the price

Only 1 bath towel and 1 face cloth in bathroom. The air conditioner was not operational, we had to sleep with the window open all night, the noise from the highway kept us awake.

See above.

Staff was great

Location was not close to amenities

Always a good stay here.

The only thing I didn't like was the laundry room facilities. Didn't really clean my clothes very well and the dryer took close to 3 hrs to dry my clothes

La atención del,personal

Friendly staff

The room smell was horrible, no towels, burn marks on the table, flooring coming up, very limited cable.

People lurking in the parking lot and by the door.

Nothing

1 towel only? Room was so hot

Good access

Night staff was miserable. All staff were not at the desk any time I was. Had to yell to let them know and the evening staff never responded even though I could hear her on the phone. Room was unclean especially the toilet. Bed was uncomfortable and the TV and the WI-FI did not work!

They had a flood and they were cleaning it untill almost 11 and the washroom was dirt. My room smelled.like cigarette smoke and the hallway smelled like weed

Very quiet

No hay desayuno

Clean and the heat system quiet

The toilet without the cover on it, that’s very unhygienic when flashing the toilet:(( Also, the ad said they have mini fridge and microwave, but my room do not have the above equipments?

The Location

It was clean inside room

Hot water did not work and bathtub filleed up to your ankle while shower head was on drainage was poor

Nothing was good other than location

The water was cold in the room, the fire alarms were going with no notices online. The hallways were dark and stinky

Early check in was available.

I was accused of smoking, I allowed them to come into my room, which the male night shift manager said “it seems you weren’t smoking but we will still have to charge or kick you out.”I asked them to check their cameras for the times I went out to my car and explained I had a vape at best . I told them I’d rather leave as there was bugs everywhere and getting accused of smoking while I’m pregnant is beyond me. While packing my things up later at night I asked if they could help me get a cart- as I’m pregnant and couldn’t carry everything by myself. instead I got a bunch of attitude over the phone and was treated horribly. I’m so thankful I didn’t spend a night in a bug infested motel but completely taken back by not only the worker’s attitude but the management. I’ve never had a problem at any other motel 6. Instead of kicking out the crackheads smoking in and all around the hotel- they kick out the regular and pregnant people. What a joke that place is.

Cleanliness and awesome staff and service plus location

Le déjeuner

If it was possible to give negative stars I would. We needed a short term stay for a family member so needed something close by and boy what a mistake. Where to begin…..first off it’s used as temporary housing for the less fortunate. I witnessed people looking through garbages for food in the hallway. The cops were there once and they drop off food donations from Tim Hortons for the people staying here. I am not saying these people caused any issues for us personally but not something you expect to see when you are a full price paying guest. If you’re using this as a homeless shelter you should not be renting this out for the general public. Secondly the rooms are downright dangerous. The door of the bathroom was completely off the hinges and I was worried the entire door would come crashing down. The deadbolt didn’t work and this was the second room that my family member was moved to. Thirdly the rooms are just gross and most likely have bedbugs as bites were found on the legs. After taking off the sheets it was absolutely disgusting. And if that’s not enough. The most disgusting part was that as we had booked for a few nights they refused to fully refund when we checked out early pulling some bs that you lose the discounted rate you got for the extra nights and they charge you full price for the nights that you did stay. The fact they try to charge $140 per night for this place is truly laughable. Stay far far away. I will be fighting for a full refund but wanted to get my family member out of there as fast as possible for their safety. They also still owe us back over $200 for the unused nights but we just wanted out ASAP

An inebriated person entered our room at 5am!! Apparently this person grabbed the iPad at front desk and said they were staying in our room They then entered our room with a key that front desk made for them and attempted to enter our bed at 5am!! We somehow got them out of our room and the front desk staff had to call police to escort them out of the building. We didn’t feel safe enough to stay another night. We spoke to front desk several times and asked to speak to a manager and have yet to hear from anyone!! Only a 10% credit was offered.

It would have been better if an intoxicated stranger didn’t enter our room at 5am!!

It was clean and reasonably priced

Noisy, hard to sleep, highway noise, people running in the halls.

Location, friendly and informative staff

Police presence, on our day of check out we saw a cockroach in a crack in the ceiling just outside our room, also noticed a spiders nest in the stairwell.

Only the front desk lady super nice

One rooom the bed has hair all over the bed under the covers other room smelled like mold

Was a toilet issue which the staff promptly had repaired, very good service.

The coffee wasnt the greatest, but this is a very minor issue

Below the air conditioning was not sealed with plaster could see outside. Old rooms ugly furniture uncomfortable bed. It was a rinky dink!! That’s what I call these kinds of hotels.

Personal muy amable

Falta ciertas cosas como sábanas extras o cobertores
