Das Frühstück entsprach den Erwartungen und die Lage der Unterkunft sehr zentral und ab dem Bahnhof zu Fuss in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig gelegen. Einen Dank an das Personal, welches mit seinen Empfehlungen zum Essen gute Dienste leistete. Das Lavabo im Zimmer war wertvoll und praktisch.

Die Zimmertüren liessen sich kaum leise schliessen, was sich besonders am Abend negativ bemerkbar machte. Dusche WC ausserhalb des Zimmers sind nicht für alle praktisch, besonders dann nicht, wenn man unfallbedingt noch leicht behindert ist.

Pulizia scadente,trovato il bagno pieno di lunghi capelli a terra,trovate posate sporche proprio sul tavolino/bar fai da te,il che indica che si sono limitati a cambiare le lenzuola e gli asciugamani senza guardare tutto il resto. Impossibile fare notare il tutto perchè la reception è sempre non vigilata Colazione con orario troppo ristretto dalle 8 alle 9 Per entrare si devono aprire tre porte a codice con tutti i possibili imprevisti Ultima chicca,alle 23 la porta principale che da accesso alla piazza della cattedrale e di conseguenza all'hotel,viene chiusa,se si rientra più tardi e ci si dimentica di prendere la chiave in reception,si rimane fuori fino alle 6 del mattino successivo

Emplacement remarquable...évidemment dans un collège de musique d'église ,chambre quasi monacale propice au repos et au recueillement. Petit déjeuner convivial et cordial dans le réfectoire. Accueil très chaleureux. Parking sur place. Toilettes et salle de bain à proximité immédiate et très propres.

J'ai eu un peu de mal à trouver... À part ça tout fût au delà de mes espérances. Peu de prises électriques...j'ai du utiliser celle de ma table de chevet pour recharger mon téléphone.

There was a lot of dust at the room. And also the bath was full with these weird flies.. I could not use it it was disgusting☹️ I hope I can get some compensation for this because it was really disappointing and limiting…

Super Lage, nahe der Katehdrale und mitten im Stadtzentrum. Gutes Frühstück. Freundliches Personal. Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Auch die schlichten Zimmer mit historischer College-Atmosphäre haben ihren Charme.

Unser Zimmer war leider renovierungsbedürftig und stellenweise ungepflegt. Der Teppich im Badezimmer war unhygienisch und fleckig, wellig und löste sich auf. Die Farbe löste sich an mehreren Stellen von den Wänden, die Fenster wurden seit Jahren nicht geputzt und im Heizkörper türmte sich Staub und Schmutz. Da hier das Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung das schlechteste während unseren gesamten Englandreise war, haben wir diesen Aufenthalt mit "Enttäuschend" bewertet.

Расположение прямо на краю площади перед собором! Тот факт, что ноиера соседствуют с помещениями действующего колледжа, вызывает ощущение причастности к жизни города. Никаких неудобств это соседство не принесло.

Excellent generous breakfast catering for all tastes. I asked to use a room off the main reception hall later but the receptionist seemed afraid to open shutters so I asked if I could as I had to wait a bit before my train came. Either guests can use the room or not wasn't clear. Quite frankly if we have to be out of our room by 9.30 it would be a nice gesture to encourage guests to sit in those rooms where there's comfortable chairs and lovely books to read. The lift was excellent but hard to find on floor 3.

A member of kitchen staff was having a large argument with a staff member because the mobility lift outside the dining room seemed stuck. She was very rough with it and the staff member very timid. It was most unpleasant and I reported it at the registration desk. Very upsetting to have to experience her annoyance and she had no care for us guests entering the dining room. Bedroom window didn't close properly all landings draughty, poor signage on floor 3 especially if there was a fire and what signage did exist wasn't very clear. No grab rails in shower next to 331, the cheap mat is NOT slip free. It was quite scary taking a shower. I wouldn't again there.

The breakfast was excellent

A lack of a bedside table especially for those of us who require a machine and a power socket for sleep apnoea - which mercifully I didn't bring on this occasion. But I had to place my medication and water on the floor as the door to the shower room left no space. The bed was very badly placed against the wall with no space beside it. As an elderly person, with a disability this was not good. Also no bedside light. Needs serious rethinking by the management and the needs of disabilities such as mine taken into account.

La ubicación es inmejorable dentro del recinto de la catedral. Si vasa ver Stonehenge es ideal si llegas en tren esta a menos de 15 minutos andando. El desayuno esta bien. Típico desayuno inglés. Desde la habitación se ve la catedral. Nos encanto.

Excellent location, basic but comfortable rooms in an atmospheric building. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast selection was really nice. Good value, would definitely stay again, and choose a room with a better view.

Basic but exactly as advertised and entirely adequate for my requirements. Friendly, welcoming staff. Superb, beautiful and central location within the cathedral precinct and directly across the road from the cathedral itself. Literally a three minute walk from the old centre of Salisbury and restaurants and pubs. I would highly recommend Sarum College if luxury is not a priority but you need a reasonably comfortable, clean base or somewhere for a short stay.

Nothing not to like really. Shared shower and toilet facilities but that was as advertised so no complaints.

Le lieu est exceptionnel pour des français dormir dans les bâtiments d'un collège anglais face à la cathédrale de Salisbury, c'est assez magique . Notre chambre située au 3eme etage, accès par ascenseur est grande composée de 2 pièces, un salon bureau avec un canapé et un meuble de bureau et une chambre avec 2 lits simples un peu durs, la salle de bain avec douche et les wc dans la chambre . Le lieu est très calme . Le petit déjeuner très copieux sous forme de buffet se prend dans la salle, attention aux horaires , la salle est ouverte de 8h à 9h ,excellentes viennoiseries , fruits, œufs mollets, saucisse, bacon... Nos vélos étaient dans appentis avec arceaux , situé à l'arrière du bâtiment. Le lendemain nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dans des casiers le temps de visiter Stonehenge et les récupérer vers 16h..

Everything was pretty good. Included breakfast was good and there was tea and coffee available during it. A cp;d water machine available during the day and night was good too especially with the heat. Staff was friendly and the location is great, about a 5 min walk to the Cathedral doors. There is also a library people could use up until 5 pm. Also got to enjoy walking back to the accomodation and past the cathedral at night thanks to the key that is provided. So you dont have to be back before 10 if you pay a deposit for a special key to those gates.

The shared shower was the main issue, it was super duper limescaled. The water burst out horizontally and when it got in my eyes it stung pretty bad probably from the stuff lodged in the shower head. Meant the kettle was off limits too in the room since it seemed quite limescaled as well. It also got a bit stuffy because the window was held open by a block so i was unsure on touching it if it was broken.

Die sehr ruhige Lage der Unterkunft gegenüber der Kathedrale ist einmalig. Das Frühstück war gut und vielseitig (mit Schwerpunkt auf English Breakfast). Der Früstücks-Raum war sehr angenehm. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption.

Die Früstückszeit dürfte gerne 30 Minuten länger sein und 30 Minuten später starten (Ist-Zeiten: 8:00-9:00).

Schönes Unterkunft in einem college direkt neben der Kathedrale, sehr ruhig gelegen und Zimmer sehr groß und gemütlich. Frühstück gut und vielseitig.

It was a delightful stay at Sarum College from the welcoming reception staff to the clean & quiet room, and the amazing location in the centre of town, right next to Cathedral. The breakfast was buffet & plentiful and the chapel on site gave you a quiet place for reflection & prayer.

There was always someone on the reception desk, who was very helpful, very nice breakfast, and quiet location in the Close, but at the same time nrar the city centre.

No complaints, everything was great!

The bed was very comfy and we slept very well. We had the en suite double room and everything we wanted and needed was there. Staff were helpful and friendly and we would be glad to stay again. The location was excellent too.

Il Sarum College si trova in una posizione unica. Dentro le mura di Salisbury, proprio a fianco della cattedrale. Impossibile non esserne impressionati. Le camere sono molto semplici, con arredi datati ma pulite e confortevoli. Buona e abbondante la prima colazione. Posizione unica! Si può girare a piedi la città. Parcheggio incluso.

Sarum College is a fantastic location, right by the Cathedral. I had a single room with a private bathroom, which was very compact but very clean and comfortable enough. The breakfast was included in my booking, a pretty much bog standard hotel set up with cooked stuff under heaters. All in all, great location and good value for a single person staying one night.

The stay was rather a curate's egg: good in parts. The location truly fabulous and the College approach magnificent. Thanks to the Cathedral for use of their car park. But 1 shower and 2 wc among 6 or so rooms could result in embarrassment; a source of cartoons in old Punch, I recall. Desk in the room good for organising one's matters. Bedside lamp very dainty and falls over. The extensive choice at breakfast and happy crowd in the room was a lovely moment. It was breathtaking to see and read about the St John's Bible.

The college is situated in such a beautiful and historic city. Lovely college. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

There wasn't anything we didn't like but we found the rooms very stark with everything being white. It wasn't cosy or particularly welcoming. We were only there one night, so it wasn't a problem for us.

Location was exceptional. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. The room was fine as I knew I was going to stay in a student room. The event I had come to attend was in The Close at the Cathedral School so I was delighted to be staying nearby.

I would have preferred to use plant-based oat milk at breakfast but there was none one day and the other day it had run out. It would have been good to know if any of the produce was locally sourced. I got the impression that maybe it wasn't or at least was at the economic end of the food supply chain.

Located facing the Cathedral in a fine old college building housing music and religous studies, but open to public out of term-time. Very welcoming, helpful and efficient staff. Compact, but well- serviced rooms; good showers, kettle, wifi, no tv😀, quiet and peaceful.

Great staff, food, and an excellent location. Very easy to walk to local businesses, and of course it was great to walk out the door and see Salisbury Cathedral! I came in a day early for my stay with a pilgrimage group, and the staff were able to get me into the room for that so I didn't have to move like I thought I would. They were also gracious to provide me with both a room fan and hair dryer. Pack light, as the rooms are small, but there is a small closet if you need it for one of your bags.

The only thing that threw me was carpeting in the bath area of the room, as I usually don't see that in most places but I understand it may be helpful for students during the winter. They did provide a good solution for near the shower.

Location perfect, historical, communal, convenient, comfortable, excellent breakfast, very good value for money.

Facilities are basic but i was expecting that and actually part of the charm.

The location was fantastic, right opposite the Cathedral. The breakfast was wonderful with really good quality produce with nice touches like gluten free bread and a toaster for it.

Very basic accommodation and the rooms were a little on the small side.

Basic British, somewhat stodgy, there was lighter option if you wanted. Nice that the breakfast came with the booking, that’s unusual. The location is great, inside the’Close’, the Salisbury cathedral area is closed to the public at night.
