We were able to find it and drive there. We then parked the car and didn't use it as we could use subways. It is about 5-10 min walk from hotel to useful (for us) subway lines into Manhattan and Park Slope area in Brooklyn. There were interesting people there. We were on a relatively low floor, but it was difficult to use stairs to get to or from the room when the elevators were tied up. When we wanted to exit through the stairs we ended up needing help from staff to find way out. The staff were helpful. The gym was good. While we were on a low floor, street noise was not a problem.

The hotel is on the approach to Manhattan bridge in Brooklyn so local navigation and getting to parking was a bit of a challenge, but not unexpected for downtown Brooklyn. The breakfast was very basic and busy as it a large hotel with a relatively small breakfast area. Relatively limited options nearby so we did take advantage of it.

Room was very comfortable. Hotel was clean but parking was a bit pricey and you can't take your car out or you pay more but I guess it is NYC. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay. Staff was great and very helpful. Cleanliness is a major factor for my stays when visiting out of town along with safety and I was very pleased with both!

Pros: I received an email to ask if there was anything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. That was a nice touch. It was our 27th wedding anniversary so they gave us a room with a view. I am a Hilton Silver member so we received snacks and water. We were there for 3 nights so housekeeping gave us turndown service. Cons: Parking is expensive No in and out priveledges with parking. When it rains the satellite TV doesnt work. But Netflix, and HBO Max does. Otherwise, it was a nice stay!

Super clean and staff service impeccable

No parking. $55 a day for oversized vehicles and if you leave the garage you have to pay every time you re enter. Terrible!

The staff was super friendly and helpful; we were very happy that we got a room with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge. It was the perfect way to end our trip in the States. The bed was very comfortable!

Just two small things: it would have been nice if there were more hangers for the towels It was quite loud at night, and we felt the windows weren't soundproof.

We didn't get towels one day and had to call twice to get them. The next day we had absolutely no maid service despite being gone most of the day and speaking to the manager about it.

I am so disappointed in this Hampton Inn - especially seeing its 4.6 star rating. The carpeting throughout the hotel is worn and dirty/stained. I am quite certain I did not have clean sheets. There was a strong body odor smell. The mattress pad was missing and the bed was very uncomfortable-not your standard Hampton Inn mattress. The refrigerator in room did not work. I was brought a hot replacement fridge that had no chance of cooling for next 24 hours. The elevator sounded like grinding gears with bounce landings and loud clicking noises. Overall hotel is tired, run down and substatially below Hilton Hampton Inn standard.

I'm rating this hotel full 5 stars just for the brilliant staff they have. Never seen such good service in any other place. Simply super .. right from check in to even hours after check out .. yes even hours after check out. The service is top notch. Thank you guys. Also they have coffee, tea, hot chocolate machines placed in the lobby which are free for all and as many as you may want to have. These are what I look for in a hotel rather than the gimmicks and stuff.

The location is good, room was ok.

At 2:30 am the fire alarm started and then a few seconds later stopped. We called the reception to ask if we have to evaluate to receive an answer “we will let you know”. A few minutes later a second alarm started. We had to go down 12 floors by stairs among a few other people even from higher floors to inform us that it was a false alarm. We were not able to sleep until 4am.

Very convenient location to downtown Brooklyn. Ki and the rest of the staff were super welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were clean and spacious.

What a wonderful experience we had at this hotel. From the moment we were greeted to checkout, the staff was determined to ensure our stay was enjoyable. In particular, Ki, went out of her way to set up a ride to take us to our cruise terminal and offered a delicious lunch suggestion. Our room was clean and quite spacious by New York standards.

So glad i tried this Hampton Inn. I usually stay at Hilton before QM2 trips but based on TA teviews, glad I tried. Everything was exceptional. Service way above average for a good Hampton. I am a Diamond member so I stay at many hotels in the chain. Got a text from Fox before I arrived offerng assustance in any way. I asked af 2 AM for a pizzeria recomendation and at 4 AM got such from Molly. Unbelievable service. Also thanked Mallory Front Office Director on her excellent staff. The hotel was either brand new or totally redone. Breakfast blew me away too. They had hard boiled eggs that many hamptons do not have. They had NYC bagels that I missed so much rather than the bland frozen ones. When I inquired FD told me they are delivered daily from a local bakery. Hampton management please never remove this perk. The bagels alone made breakfast superb. I forgot to mention the hotel is spotless and jn immaculate condition. Highly recomend this hotel. I am so glad i read the TA reviews in this location. Whoever the General Manager is,,,, deserves a lot of credit!.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Brooklyn! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but I especially want to recognize Star. She answered my questions before I arrived and continued to be incredibly helpful during my stay. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a great experience even better. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options. I also enjoyed spending time at the bar—the food and drinks were both excellent, and it was a great place to relax after a busy day exploring the city. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brooklyn. Thank you to Star and the entire team for making my trip so memorable!

The facilities and room were comfortable. Location is great as well.

Issues with check in. Booked reservation under my mother's name. But she had issues checking in. Not sure if it was Hampton or Booking.com's fault but my confirmation showed my mom's name on reservation, yet the folio showed my name and only my mother as an additional guest. It was a long day and delay at airport and my mother got in at 6pm to check in instead of originally planned 3pm.

Staff were all lovely, breakfast was very good and a great location.

Staff was friendly and responsive. The free breakfast was organized and yummy. The mini scones and fresh fruit were standouts. Since we went during the heat dome, it was especially refreshing to have the bottled water and cold air conditioning when we returned at the end of the day, and housekeeping service was excellent. Convenient for using the subway.

The towels had a slight burnt smell to them as if the heating element on the dryer was high, but that’s hardly anything to complain about in light of everything that was so good about this property.

I’d really like to be giving this hotel a glowing review but based on my experience that’s not possible. All standard rooms here are sold equally but they are not. I put in a bid for a Manhattan skyline room and I selected a high floor room on the honours app. I had been in contact with reception to notify them of that when I had some flight delays. I arrived late in the evening after 24 hours flying from Australia. All prior room selections and bid requests had been erased. I was given a room right down the bottom of the hotel, right at the corner with the intersection. This is some kind of torture. The sound proofing is completely inadequate and it is an arterial for construction trucks that all have to brake for the intersection and then climb back up through their gears again. They started before 4 am and I’m a very heavy sleeper, but it was unbearable. Everything else about the hotel is amazing, but how on earth can they justify the same price for these rooms and a lottery for who gets them? I was told I should contact reception prior to arrival in the future. Well I did, more than once. There was also a problem with the booking I had to phone them about prior. It ended up with me having to phone a Texan local number in the middle of the Australian night to resolve the issue. I selected a room on the Honours app. And I got the worst room in the hotel and barely 3 hours of sleep each night.

Hampton Inn Downtown Brooklyn is located on Flatbush Avenue. Coming from Manhattan, it is right after you get down from Manhattan bridge. Location is very good and it is close to Dumbo as well as downtown. Brooklyn is again a problem for parking so you need to be near public transport and walking distance to everything. This hotel is just that. Ferry is also close by. Room was also pretty good in size with 2 double beds. Neat and clean with all amenities. A small closet with a safe. Breakfast was also quite nice. I did not park at the hotel as i had a separate arrangement but apparently the lot at the hotel did not have in and out privileges. Overall a nice place to stay in brooklyn plus a short train or ferry ride to Fulton and business district in Manhattan.

The location of the hotel was not good for me, as the police and fire stations are very close by and I didn't get much sleep with sirens going 24/7. I do not fault the hotel for this, but I won't be staying here again because of this

This hotel is perfectly located in the middle of downtown where everything is walking distance without the need for a subway. The lobby and front desk were very welcoming to our group of 12.
