Everything. Starting with the rude and untrained employees. I always stay at the Santa Clara and this time I had to stay at Bastion because Santa Clara was sold out. Never again!!!!! What a horrible experience and horrible staff.

This is a gorgeous property in a fantastic area. The staff was very attentive and friendly and although I didn't use the services much, I could still see the professionalism.

The check in process wasn't as fast as I expected. There was only one person checking everyone in and while they were doing a good job, a lot of the folks who stay at hotels like this can be quite demanding with disregard for others. It would be nice to have another person checking others in as well in cases like this.

It’s the perfect location in Cartagena’s best walkable neighbourhood. The roof top swimming pool is very nice, the dinner room as well. Breakfast is the best that we had in 3 weeks everywhere in Colombia, they have a big buffet + you can order other things.

The room was smelling a bit damp and hair conditioning was efficient but very loud.

Let’s start out by this was my fourth visit to the property. Good location to venture out and visit other parts.

During the stay while in the room, I heard the door unlock and then quickly lock back. When I checked outside the door. No one was there. Brought it to the attention of the hotel staff. I was advised that they would look into it, by checking the cameras. This was during the 11ish am hour. As we were getting ready to head out to dinner I happened to check my phone. That time frame was after 4p. Noticed that management responded back via WhatsApp. Instead of coming to me directly to explain their findings in the matter. They could have easily came back to my room or even left a message on the phone for me to come to the front desk. This will definitely be my last time using their hotel. Even my colleague who referred me to the property found that response to be poor taste in judgment.

Excelente hotel, todo cuidado al detalle, diseño y buen gusto. El personal un capítulo aparte, súper amables, serviciales y respetuosos. Desayuno increíble. Volvería siempre

Par contre pas de builloire dans la chambre et impossible d'en avoir une! malgres de multiples tentatives. Pour ceux qui boievent du thé, ce n'at absolument pas possible.

Location. The service is wonderful as well, the weekend manager and the front desk staff were very good. The pool was nice.

The AC did not work properly, we did not have AC for one afternoon and night, the AC was fixed around 2am. This was inconvenient to say the least. The shower water is either too hot or too cold, I was unable to stand under the shower water for longer than 30 seconds. We had a cockroach in our room and when we complained it seemed that it was a very normal occurrence. The AC was leaking water and we had a little pond in our room. The room was too dark, the walls too thin. To be honest, I would stay elsewhere. It is not cheap and not worth it.

La habitacion es amplia y fresca. La cama muy comoda y el baño tambien muy amplio y bonito. El hotel es muy bonito

La zona de la piscina y la terraza es muy bonita pero sin ambiente, cierran temprano la terraza en vez de aprovechar el espacio para ofrecer unos buenos cocteles porque el espacio es muy bonito y acogedor. No me gustó que el restaurante maneja unos precios muy elevados para el servicio, la comida y el ambiente del restaurante. La comida esta bien pero no como es un deleite como para cobrar platos tan costosos y me molestó que al desayuno pedi unos huevos secos y me los trajeron crudos, pedi que los hicieran mas pero el chef volvio a enviar los mismos huevos sin atender mi solicitud.

Divino, perfectamente limpio, habitaciones limpias, lindas y cómodas. El hotel tiene una decoración divina. El desayuno fantástico, gran variedad, incluyendo fritos costeños. El servicio y atención de lujo. La piscina en el rooftop es perfecta y aprecio mucho que la música sea a bajo volumen, pues lo hace un lugar tranquilo y para relajarse. El rooftop genial para ver el bello atardecer.

Gostamos de tudo, hotel lindo, quarto super confortável, cama e roupa de cama de excelente qualidade , localização perfeita, perto de tudo ( pontos turísticos, restaurantes). Café da manhã maravilhoso. E o staff muito atencioso e educado, principalmente a Gina, funcionária que nos atendeu no restaurante todos os dias, sempre com seu sorriso cativante.

Gostamos de tudo e super recomendamos.

Everything about this hotel is totally excellent. The property itself is stunning and exceptionally clean—I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful the design and atmosphere are. The staff is incredibly professional, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Their attitude is amazing; their first response to any request is always, "Yes, we can help you with that." It makes you feel truly looked after. A very special mention goes to the on-site restaurant, El Gobernador. After spending 15 days in Cartagena trying brunch and breakfast spots all over the city, I can confidently say that the best breakfast is right here in the hotel. It is worth staying here just for the breakfast alone! Another highlight is the rooftop terrace. It is exquisite, offering an incredibly beautiful view of the Old City and Cartagena. There is also a great bar up there to enjoy the scenery with a drink. I have no doubt that this is the best place for a relaxing and pleasurable stay. Do not hesitate to book it!

Pokoje bardzo przestronne i dobrze wyposażone. Przemiła i pomocna obsługa. Fantastyczne śniadanie. Duża przestrzeń na tarasie i bardzo przyjemny basen. Obsługa przechowała nam bagaż kilka dni po check oucie co było miłe.

Dystrybutor do pitnej wody i zestaw do herbaty w pokoju byłyby dobrym pomysłem.

Servicio, atención y calidad excelentes

El Hotel es muy bonito, tiene una ubicación excepcional, el desayuno es fabuloso y y el sector de la piscina de la azotea muy cómodo y bonito. Tuvimos la suerte de ser atendidos en el desayuno por Gina, una señora muy preocupada y amable que nos enseñaba recetas colombianas todas las mañanas. Un agrado de persona!

En general, la experiencia fue bastante buena, pero efectivamente hay espacio de mejora posibles. Una de ellas respecto a las instalaciones del gimnasio que es bastante pequeño y no muy cómodo. La atención en el bar de la piscina tampoco es muy eficiente. Excesivamente lento aún cuando no había casi nadie comiendo el día que nos tocó pedir almuerzo ahí. Esperamos más de una hora por platos muy simples y rápidos. El estándar de Servicio es algo disparejo. Si bien la las personas son amables, no hubo una gestión muy rápida de los requerimientos que hicimos. Pedimos ayuda con la organización de un Tour y quedamos a la espera de una respuesta que nunca llegó. Tuvimos que volverla a plantear el requerimiento para que se nos diera respuesta. Por otro lado, el aseo de la habitación no era del todo impecable y todos los días (estuvimos 4) faltaba algún tipo de insumo (reposición de toallas, cápsulas de café, papel higiénico…) por lo que tuvimos que estar llamando permanentemente a recepción para solicitar la reposición.

El bar de la piscina tiene horarios muy restringidos.

El hotel esta en excelentes condiciones, la piscina es muy amplia y las zonas son muy agradables, el desayuno muy rico y el personal muy atento.

Que era pet friendly, nuestros perros (dos yorkis) estuvieron muy cómodos. Todo el personal fue muy atento y las habitaciones amplias y cómodas.

Rooms are very poorly serviced - often times leaving just one towel, empty tissue box, one day even a bed sheet that was ripped Had to request numerous room changes because many had very loud noises from outside A/C units - which is fine if you do not mind noise but not if you like to sleep in a quiet room Despite an extended and multiple stay was never approached by a manager to query about my stay - despite some of the issues I had The floor of the roof top by the pool is a big health hazard as stone and very slippery when wet - a disaster waiting to happen The gym room is a joke - machines super old and wobbly Main girl at reception super dour and never breaks a smile

The whole hotel is beautiful, very comfortable, and definitely has very good high finishes.

The staff needs more training in providing a luxury experience, they lack manners in customer service, and the service doesn't match the hotel's facilities. However, the charisma, smiles, and kindness of everyone are something worth highlighting.

The pool and the service at the pool was really good.

Some rooms had a funny smell.
