Location was.perfect.Staff are amazing

I have stayed at the Sakyo enough times so as to refer to it as my 'go to'. And the strange part about that is...it keeps getting better! The staff are without question the best I have encountered. Friendly and so helpful. The hotel itself is a gem. Great facilities and location. I've yet to avail myself to the Spa but soon I will. The buffet breakfast has to be one of the best and afternoon teas with finger food are a nice way to have a break from the afternoon heat. A lovely experience it always is staying at the Sakyo

Sophie and her entire team (including Nhi, Khang, Vu and the rooftop barman who does magic tricks!) do an amazing job at making guests feel welcome. The hotel itself is perfectly located in the hustle and bustle of district 1 with everything on its doorstep and the facilities are excellent. But above all the service and hospitality from the staff are incredible and will make you stay enjoyable.

The air conditioning in my room took a little while to reach peak efficiency but otherwise the room was super comfortable

We are currently staying at the hotel and the bar upstairs is super cool, tuan anh and hai have been great bartenders! If you like magic ask tuan anh to show you a few really cool tricks! They also have a great pool and view up there!

We choose to stay at Silverland Sakyo every time we come to Ho Chi Minh City, and honestly, it offers some of the best end-to-end service we've experienced across our travels in both Asia and Europe. The people are what make this hotel so special. From the moment you walk through the doors, everyone is genuinely warm and welcoming. The porters consistently go above and beyond, whether that's helping transport items, assisting with local businesses, or simply making you feel looked after. A special thank you to Sophie, who was incredibly generous with her time and went out of her way to help me organise some emergency alterations. That level of care and willingness to help is rare and speaks volumes about the culture of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, daily housekeeping is excellent, and the rooftop bar and pool are the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the city. For us, staying at Silverland Sakyo isn't just about accommodation anymore—it's become part of our Ho Chi Minh experience. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

You have to come here for a drink. Tuan anh is an amazing bartender. He will make you smile and even can do amazing close up magic. This guy should be on America’s got talent. He makes an amazing drink and is so funny and kind. The setting is beautiful. Worth a visit!!!

A special thank you to Tuan Anh, whose amazing cocktails, incredible card tricks, and warm personality made every evening unforgettable. I would also like to recognize the outstanding concierge team, Shawn and Sophie, for their professionalism, helpful recommendations, and exceptional hospitality throughout my stay. A big thank you as well to Sam and Anh, the doormen, who always greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome every time we entered and left the hotel. The entire team went above and beyond to create a memorable experience. I highly recommend Silverland Sakyo and look forward to returning again soon!

Beautiful rooms, wonderful hospitality.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Erster Aufenthalt (2017) Das Hotel wurde im November 2025 renoviert. Japanisch geführtes Hotel- Sehr gute Lage, Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig. Extrem motiviertes, höfliches und Lösungsorientiertes Personal. Wir wollten in in der Oper eine spezielle Show ansehen die auf den Buchungsplattformen bereits ausverkauft war. Das Personal an der Rezeption hat uns noch Top-Karten auf dem Balkon zum normalen Preis besorgt. Dafür ein herzlicher Dank an alle. Auch die Pagen an der Tür hatten sehr viele Tipps zu Restaurants und Bars die dann wirklich einen Besuch wert waren. Wir empfehlen Veranstaltungen über die Rezeption zu buchen, keine Preisaufschläge und sehr guter Service. Wir hatten auch schon 2017 mit Buchungen zu Theaterbesuchen. Das Frühstück war hervorragend in einer sehr ruhigen Atmosphäre optimal um den Tag zu beginnen. Wir durften nach dem Checkout noch alle Einrichtungen bis zur Abfahrt zum Flughafen nutzen, inkl. der Duschen am Pool.

Uns hat alles gefallen, Service, Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, Personal, Frühstück etc. pp.

I like the rooms and the facilities

The service is not professional.. most of the staff don't speak English. No food or room services after 10 pm!!!

I moved into Silverland on the 2nd of June. The people at the reception are very helpful and the ladies in red and the manager is always very helpful and kind. Sam and Pho and the rest of the Porter team are very impressive. They are not only helpful, they are very polite and fast in their work..especially Sam, he is very alert and will be there to help you with heavy stuff after your shopping. Its the best porter team I have seen. They are a very motivated lot. Tien and Vu are very attentive at breakfast. After my second day stay, VU will prepare a glass of ice when I arrive as I have a habit of drinking cold water in the morning. Its one of the sweetest thing I have experience when having breakfast ay hotel. Very well done Vu. Anf Tien who is always so smiley and cheerful every morning. She remembers most people room numbers !!! Good memories! The room cleaning crew are a great bunch.. room is always clean and they mop the floor every day. In all, the facilities are abit dated.. but the splendid hotel service makes it the best I have stayed in HCM. Congrats for having such a wonderful and hard working team in every department, Silverland. I will definitely stay at your hotel on all my future visits !

We stayed in two different rooms on two occasions. The first one was very good and quite spacious. The second one had a balcony and was smaller but still quite good. The staff were the best we found in Vietnam. Afternoon tea was a nice treat and the pool area is excellent as well.

The reception, breakfast buffet area and rooms were kept very clean. They also provided complimentary pillow menu. We stayed here for my partner and I’s anniversary, and the staff beautifully decorated our room.

From the images I’ve seen of the rooms, for the Sanctuary Executive room, it seemed like the room was very large and spacious. However, in person it was smaller than expected. Still, the room had adequate space for 2 check in luggage and 2 carry on. It was just different from my initial expectation.

This hotel was perfect for me and my boyfriend. We aren't very high maintenance when we travel. We just need a clean room to come back to after a long day and helpful staff around whenever we have any questions. But the service exceeded our expectations. Everyone was very accommodating, patient, and friendly. The front desk staff and the bell boys were the best and really impressed us with how professional and kind they were. I do believe they go the extra mile to make sure you feel safe and are having a good time in the city. My boyfriend and I took a motorbike tour and when we getting picked up at the hotel, the staff took a picture for us and even printed it out which was so nice. The room itself is clean, has a cute aesthetic, and is a cozy size (it's not super big but still had enough space for the two of us and four large suitcases). The location is convenient and not noisy at night. I also like how they throw in the free body and foot massage if you book through their website for the higher tier rooms, it was a nice touch. For the price, I was totally satisfied with the service and the room quality. I would totally recommend this place to others and would even stay here myself again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Grossartiges Hotel in guter Lage, zudem toll dekoriert anlässlich des chinesischen Neujahrsfestes. Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Ich wurde Opfer eines kriminellen Taxiscams am Flughafen Saigon auf der Fahrt zum Hotel mit körperlicher Bedrohung und finanziellem Betrug. Der Betrag von 1.580000 dong wurde mir bei versperrten Taxitüren aus der Hand gerissen. Ich hatte ein Video mit dem Kfz-Kennzeichen. Ich schilderte es der Rezeptionsdame, weil sie nach meinem Befinden fragte, in der Hoffnung, einen Rat zu bekommen. Sie lachte nur und meinte, unter 2 Mio hätte es keinen Sinn, die Polizei zu kontaktieren und meinte, das nächste Mal würde ich es wohl besser wissen. Diese Reaktion war für mich zu diesem Zeitpunkt absolut unpassend.

My third stay in this hotel, and never been disappointed. The staff is fantastic. Sophie at the lobby always available to support the guests. Diep at the SPA provides outstanding massages. When at Sakyo you feel at home. So friendly. Also nice location to wander the streets of HCM. Top class service. Do not hesitate to book there.

I could not have had a better experience than staying in Silverland Grand Sakyo in HCMC. Not only was the location central to all of the amenities in District, one, including shops, restaurants, and landmarks, with the hotel itself includes both a spa, restaurant, and rooftop pool/jacuzzi with bar. The staff are also amazing, Sam, Tri, and Sophie were extremely kind and helpful throughout my entire trip. This is hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had traveling abroad thanks to the staff. Rooms were very clean, and they are very proactive in making sure you are taken care of. Laundry service is also included as well with a quick turnaround around and very fairly priced. I will definitely be back next time i come back to Vietnam!

We stayed at this hotel for our 5 nights in Ho Chi Minh, as part of our tour of Vietnam. The tour was to celebrate my Husband and I’s 10 year anniversary. I let the hotel know before and they really made us feel special. When we arrived we had a tiramisu cake & a bottle of red in our room, which is strange considering they’re our favourite. The hotel itself is modern and in a lovely Japanese style. This is really noticeable on the rooftop bar and pool, especially at night when it is lit up and looks lovely. The afternoon tea they do daily for guests which is included in the cost is a lovely touch and their coffee is incredible. The element that absolutely gives it a 5* for us is the staff. They are all absolutely fantastic and can’t do enough for you to feel welcome. Especially Sophie Vu who arranged the anniversary bits, gave us fantastic recommendations on local places to eat and also invited us to the annual end of year staff party. We were the only guests at the hotel to attend the party, and we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. They did all the speeches in Vietnamese and English so we could be included. All the staff came up to us and was asking about our lives & visa versa, which was lovely to get to know them more. They provided us with lots of free drinks at the party and even got us in the tradition by throwing us in the pool fully clothed. My husband and I did not stop laughing at the party and as it coincided with our last night at the hotel, it made the best impression!!! We can’t wait to go back to Ho Chi Minh an we will stay at this hotel again for sure.

This is second time travel in Ho Chi Minh City and second time stay in Sliverland hotel (first time stay in Yen, this time stay in Sayko). Sliverland Sayko hotel which is more convenient as nearby the restaurant and shopping mall. Room size is good enough for 2 pax to stay. Room is clean and thank you for the Housekeeping team. Great service by the staff, especially Sophie, Dinh and Sam. Thank you guys to make our stay more memorable. Wish you guys all the best and we also can’t wait to back and stay soonest.

This hotel made our birthday and anniversary celebration extra special. From the warm welcome to the little thoughtful touches, like decorating the bed , a boutique of roses , personalise birthday cake and wine everything was perfect. The staff were kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We felt truly cared for—thank you for a memorable stay! Special thanks to Charlie, Sophie and Sam. Outstanding service from Sam that always provides extra care to going out guest and coming in Guest. His speed in offering to carry the luggage , getting the lift etc , he served with his heart in making others happy . Sam’s services is commendably outstanding , that I never experienced before in all my holidays travelling journey .Sam is indeed value added to the hotel. Serving with heart and smile always .
