Stairs leading up to pool steep Getting into pool was a challenge, I found the first step quite difficult. Ordered a steak stir fry & the steak was so chewy I couldn’t eat it. The replacement chicken kebab was also overcooked and dry. Room lighting over the luggage rack needs improvement.

Fantastic value for money and an excellent location. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, particularly a young gentleman in the restaurant who really stood out with his service. There were so many inclusions that other hotels would normally charge extra for, which made the stay feel exceptional value. The spa was also great and very affordable. Overall, we were really impressed with what the hotel offered for the price

Very little to fault. If I had to mention anything, some areas of the hotel are a little dated, but this certainly didn’t detract from our stay or the overall experience.

The room was very clean, the staff extremely friendly, and the location excellent; the hotel is beautiful, too.

What bothered us the most was the breakfast selection, which doesn't offer as much variety compared to other hotels.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Au Lac Charner. Das Personal war wahnsinnig hilfsbereit und immer sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Der Pool auf dem Dach war eine kleine Oase mitten in der Stadt und schön angelegt. Der Spa/Massagebereich war so liebevoll gestaltet. Insgesamt hat uns die Ausstattung mit viel Liebe zum Detail und schönen Bildern an den Wänden sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren insgesamt eine Woche dort und das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechsungsreich. Die tägliche Teeeinladung war bezaubernd. Leider konnte ich es nur einmal nutzen, da wir zu den Zeiten unterwegs waren. Es war so schön, dass unsere Kinder sich am Ende bedankt haben, dass wir in so einem tollen Hotel waren. Was will man mehr? :-)

Die Reinigung des Badezimmers hätte gründlicher sein können.

Close to everything. Money exchange 2 doors down, Saigon & Ben Thanh market 10 min walk. Apartment cafes were 5 mins away. Most things within 10min walk. War memorial and Imperial palace a short Grab ride. Plenty of restaurants. Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Pool was cold which was ok for my husband but I like it to be a bit warmer. Afternoon tea nice and good variety. Breakfast was good with variety.

Bathroom was a little bit dirty when we arrived. Looked like plaster dust in sink and on the toilet but this was only minor.

The ambience, location and the staff were all Excellent.

Every now and again the alarm would go off if any of the other guest would leave their room door ajar too long. Could come as a shock when you’re asleep and early in the morning. It only happened twice.

We loved the location of the hotel - it was perfect for our needs.

Room was nice and comfy. Breakfast was very good. Easy walking distance to the main markets and attractions in central Saigon. Boutique feeling was what we wanted. A couple of great places to eat nearby including a Michelin listed one.

A chair on the balcony would have been a bonus. Lounge chair I side was a little uncomfortable. Busy pool but it was summer so what you expect.

The COMFIEST beds on our whole trip to Vietnam. Immaculately clean rooms and they deep clean and tidy them everyday. The roof top pool has incredible views of the city and in a fantastic location near. Fresh water in the rooms everyday.

The decor isn’t my style but that wouldn’t stop me booking this place again or recommending!

pool, room was ok but very small for 3 people. location handy but wish we had stayed in a different quarter as this one was very vietnamese and a bit hard to find our way as first time visitors to Vn.

Spa bath on the balcony was very private and surprisingly enjoyable. In a city of millions it felt totally secluded. Complimentary hi tea was appreciated.

The hotel has a very beautiful interior, and a splendid view from the pool, bar and sauna. There is also a great spa/massage parlor where Tuyêt welcomed us very well and was really kind. It is really well located in the 1st district.

In the room we had, we had a beautiful view, but you have the sound of the swimming pool over you when you’re on the top floor which is from 10am to 11pm. Hard to sleep early.

Het personeel is fantastisch! Wij hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van de massage. Deze was geweldig en professioneel. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en veel aanbod.

The staff are fabulous and the breakfast is brilliant. The size of the room was great. The pool was lovely and complimentary afternoon tea was a bonus. Excellent location in an interesting street with great cafes and close to everything.

The afternoon tea could have had different things on different days, as it was always the same selection. Also I did think the shower on the balcony was a bit strange, as you would have all your toiletries and towels in the bathroom and then have to take them out to the balcony. But that was my suite; other rooms were different.
