The Stone Hedge B&B

Clean, tidy, interesting decor (in a positive way) and very friendly host. Fantastic to have an airport shuttle service as it made my stay perfect.

Delicious course-meal breakfast provided and the service provided by Brian is above and beyond.

Wonderful!

What a fabulous way to spend my pre-cruise holiday. They have EVERYTHING you could want and treat you like royalty!

Very cozy room with all the amenities. We appreciated the snacks!

All are excellent.

The owner so kind and friendly very accommodating. Thank you for taking care of Lesley!

Lovely owners who served us a wonderful breakfast. This place is clean, unique, close to Vancouver Airport and has great charm.

Large bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Helpful owner.

Rooms were very comfortable

An absolutely astounding stay! If there was a 10-star option, I would definitely hit it. The host was very kind and accommodating. He had loads of information about the area around the location as well as the history of the items in his place. It was like living in a museum! 10 out of 10 would stay again (◔‿◔)

Beautiful, fun, and just perfect for me

Our hosts were very hospitable. They did a nice job with alll the details and provided information to make our one night stop comfortable. The room was warm, but they cant stop the changing climate.

If you are looking for a charming B&B, look no further! Owners, Brian and Linda did a marvelous job of hosting us. We stayed in the safari room, which was beautiful. Not only did Brian pick us up from the airport when we arrived, but he also drove us to our cruise port to depart on our Alaskan cruise. Linda cooked us the most delicious breakfast, which Brian served with charm. They made our first trip to Canada a wonderful one!

This is a delightful place. Brian was very courteous. They went out of their way to provide all the comforts and beyond. Breakfast was very tasty and Brian made it so fun.

Awesome place and breakfast was beautuful

The host likes to tell stories and to entertain the guests. The back yard is quite serene. They played relaxing music to set the mood around the chaise lounges and pool. I was exhausted and went straight to bed. The bed was very comfortable. I was given good directions to walk to a nearby mall for dinner and to the Richmond wharf and canning museum for entertainment the next day. The breakfast consisted of 3-4 separate courses, including coddled eggs, fresh fruit and muffins. Way over the top. It was nice to chat with the other guests. This is the way B&Bs used to be decades ago. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter, who just finished her first year at UBC, has stayed there twice, in order to get to the airport first thing in the morning, and they have been kind and welcoming. I feel good knowing she is there under their care

Food was amazing. They grow their own grapes and crab apples then make jam for breakfast from them. The garden is beautiful and despite being in a big city you feel secluded in the woods. Brian and Linda are amazing hosts.

Great people!

Brian was truly amazing he definitely knows how to run a B&B! Great breakfast on the go he made us as we left at 5:15 am! He was waiting for us to shuttle us to airport!

Fantastic place and fabulous hospitality! Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious! Hosts are amazing!

Staying here was amazing! Felt like I was in Europe even though I was minutes away from the Vancouver Airport. The airport shuttle is amazing and Brian is such a wonderful host. The breakfasts are amazing and will leave you full until the afternoon. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

Enjoyed the Captains Quarters for the night (2x twin beds) and private bathroom. The shared kitchenette and dining table is spacious. Even though the rooms were filled, it didn’t feel busy with 6 people. Brian provided shuttle service, flexible, knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to accommodate my early flight departure. Didn’t have a chance to use the pool, the lounge and sunny patio area is welcoming with multiple places to sit. Would stay here again!

Excellent B&B with great host.

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, each guest had their own bathroom. Host provided a jar of grape jelly from their own vines.

Very nice host. Breakfast was fantastic. Lived up to the BnB name. Would recommend to mix things up if you’re someone that typically stays at a no-host contact airbnb.

This is a decent place to stay but not the quality and ambience that we were expecting given the price and the ratings. We enjoyed the pool/garden and private patio. The setting for breakfast with the other guests by the pool was lovely; the coffee and food was okay The decor of the safari theme room was dated and cluttered. Some of the carpet/rugs needed a good cleaning, and the bathroom shower area has a DIY feel in construction quality. The host provided reliable, comfortable transportation from the bus from the ferry and to the airport. He shared too much of his own personal views on many topics.

The Host most welcoming, accomadating in every which way , interacts appropriately

Owner has lots of local experience and history to share. Much better than a tour guide. I Learnt a lot from him.

Great B&B though I didn't get a chance to have breakfast. I'm sure it is excellent like the rest of the stay. The Host is very informative regarding local attractions and history.

Brian runs a first class B&B. Breakfast was wonderful room was clean and comfortable. Everything was nice as could possibly be.

Our stay was relaxing and fun. This B&B has beautiful, immaculately clean rooms and lovely pool and patio. We were served a delicious 3 course breakfast in the a.m. Brian and Linda were such amazing hosts. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Had a great stay at stone hedge. I was able to get picked up from the airport. There were nearby places to eat food within a quick walking distance. The place is super nice and the bed was awesome. The breakfast they provided was also great. I would love to come back the next time I get to stay in Vancouver. Highly recommend this place.

The room was beautiful and uniquely decorated. We felt like we were on a Safari. The breakfast was delicous and we ate in the garden by the pool. The host also helped us fix our car. Thanks for the stay!

What can I say? Bryan and his wife take it to the max to satisfy their customers. The room provided was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The soaker tub was wonderful and the poolside breakfast was truly an awesome experience doesn't get any better and with transportation to the airport it was simply perfect.

I really enjoyed staying at the Stone Hedge. The room had a unique style. Brian and Linda were super nice and made sure I had everything I needed. Will definitely visit again!

Like most- breakfast Dislikes- none

Thank you, Brian and Linda. You are the best.

Staff made me feel at home. Amazing safari room. Clean and private. 4 course breakfast was fantastic

This B&B is most interesting and the ambiance is remarkable. My host Brian was so helpful and I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Vancouver. The court yard was wonderful and totally private. I am so happy to have found this beautiful home as it it is so much more injoyable than a hotel room. I give it a five star plus. Next time you need a Place too stay try it you won’t regret it.

Bryan was a welcoming and knowledgeable host. He was a mine of useful information about transport and places worth visiting. He provided lots of extras like bottled water, sodas and snacks. It was a great bonus to get a lift to the airport as well. Breakfast was freshly prepared, generous and tasty and was served on the lovely patio by the pool.

We loved our first b&b experience! Brian and Linda took excellent care of us and saw to making sure our stay was flawless- from giving us local recommendations to the little chocolates on our pillows. Breakfast was delicious!! We will definitely be back.

We left out of Vancouver for a cruise and I wanted a different experience than a hotel and thr Stone Hedge didn't disappoint. Brian was a excellent host!!! Very accommodating and full of knowledge ! The breakfasts were spectacular! I would come to Vancouver just to stay here!

The room is amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Slept well. It’s quiet with good breakfast served. Transportation to and from airport great

Loved my stay here for an overnight layover. They made airport transportation so easy and fast. The breakfast here is 10/10!! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and cozy. I would stay here again without question!

Brian was a wonderful host and a Scot to boot. My recollections of Kenya came alive in the safari room. Made a short stay memorable, would like to repeat some day,

Brian was a great host, picking me up from the airport promptly and making me feel at home. Room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The outdoor space also looked like a fantastic place to hang out, though I didn’t get a chance to spend much time there. Located in a nice quiet residential area.

Liked owner and family. Their pride and joy, well-earned and much deserved. Our requests(for dishes and cutlery to eat some leftovers) were accommodated elegantly. Breakfast is top-notch: both tasty and in exceptional taste. Sole negative is that it's too far from Vancouver for sightseeing (we had no car). We did enjoy visiting Steveston and the cannery, but one day and two nights was our stay and would anyway have been the limit absent a car.

Pick up was very prompt from the airport, and although we only had a very short over-night stay and off to the airport the next morning, we really enjoyed this place. The breakfast was amazing.

Wonderful breakfast with home made jam . Great service, and very welcoming. 2 thumbs up. Thank you

Friendly host. Delicious breakfast. Convenient shuttle to floatplane and YVR

The owners are lovely and welcoming! They do an amazing job making sure you enjoy your stay and that it feels like home. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We loved our stay here! The breakfast was great as well! Gluten free options were easily accommodated! Highly recommend

The breakfast was delicious, and the shuttle service was very helpful...

The host was amazing, warm and the breakfast is wonderful. Pickup from and dropoff to the airport is on time and convinent.

Beautiful property and the hosts were very kind. It's a short walk from a bus stop, and as your host will probably inform you, the roads around Richmond are built on even ground, so you won't have to traverse up or down any hills. That being said they offer airport pick up and drop off, along with drop off at the Canada Line if you're adventuring outside of Richmond. The rooms are very comfortable, I stayed only two nights, one at the beginning of my vacation, and one for the last night of my trip. Originally I had booked the Royal Suite for the two non-consecutive nights, but was upgraded to the Safari House for the last night. Both rooms were comfortable, cozy and well stocked with various snacks and drinks. Your host offers a turn down service, along with a delicious decanter of orange brandy (very good with hot chocolate) Breakfast is delicious and filling, and the host is responsive to any calls and questions. I will book again the next time I'm visiting Canada, it was truly a great experience.

Amazing. Learned a lot about the area from Brian, the host, who was unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend it.

Having the airport shuttle is a real plus... the breakfast was incredible...

The owner was very nice and kind. It was fun staying at the Safari room.

We would go back again anytime, Brian was a great guy. Good cook and the place was immaculate. He also has a pick up and drop off service included in the price from most transportation hubs for people meeting cruise ships and aircraft, best of all you can leave your car there for a week for five dollars a day.

What a find ! So delighted to have found this B&B for our overnight stay in Vancouver.. Brian picked us up at airport and dropped us back the next day. Room was superb, spotlessly clean with lots of snacks and drinks provided. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a feast and nothing was too much trouble for these hosts. Would return here in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for being so welcoming x

Very nice place and people. Brian is awesome! I will be back definitely. Thank you !

Best place ever

What a delightful second stay at the property. Our host, Brian is professional and welcoming and extremely helpful. Our breakfast of muesli, fruit and yoghurt compote was beautifully presented, followed by a healthy muffin, followed by coddled eggs and bacon followed by two croissants and spreads. Of course, coffee was served at the beginning of breakfast as well as being topped up during the meal. Our room was comfortable with every possible requirement provided. Comfortable armchairs, TV, variety of refreshments and snacks included. Even a microwave. Brian also collected us from the airport and returned us for our journey onwards. Thank you to Brian, our host. We will return next time we visit Canada. (Which is every two years)

Brian was the best host ever

10 out of 10 would stay here again. Brian was amazing, helpful with navigating the city. The whole experience was just amazing. Breakfast was delicious! I will definitely come back!

A beautifully decorated home/B&B. Very courteous and helpful host. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS.

Quick response for airport pickup. Enjoyed our stay!

Room was small and and a bit stuffy. Bathroom was private but not attached to the room. Nevertheless ,we had a good sleep after a very long travel -- and the facility was very quite -- that was very welcome! And the host (owner) most entertaining!

Would recommend ,great being picked up from airport. Amazing breakfast . Rich local history commentary . Thanks for delicious jam

The owners are very hospitable, the ambiance and atmosphere is quaint, comfortable, and relaxing. A true bed breakfast. Highly recommend my Canadien friend and host.

Friendly comfortable relaxing stay with a beautiful breakfast.

Very comfortable, friendly host, great breakfast. So good to have airport transfers included.

We loved this b&b. The rooms were so cooly decorated with themes. Our room was Africa Safari. Breakfasts were excellent! We will definitely stay again the next time we come to Vancouver!

Good option for an overnight stay close to the airport. Very quiet and peaceful location. Thanks Linda and Brian for the delicious four course breakfast and homemade jelly!! Would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend the Stone Hedge B&B

We were grateful to have transportation from the airport and to our cruise ship. Our bed was comfy, the room was very quiet, and breakfast was homemade and delicious. It was pleasant being served out by the pool. We highly recommend this place to anyone cruising from Vancouver!

Excellent service, free airport pick up and drop off, by Brian, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, lovely breakfast and attention to detail

Perfect option for a stay near the airport. Location was super quiet which was great after a long flight. Really appreciated the ease of the airport pick up and drop off, as well as the delicious breakfast. Thanks so much for the homemade jelly!

Exactly what we needed after a long trip on our way home. I'm sorry we were not there long enough to enjoy our stay to the fullest.

great little B&B, fabulous breakfast, great host perfect for our overnight stay in close proximity to airport.

Comfortable, warm/friendly, accommodating. Made us feel at home and had very nice additionals. Snacks and beverages and Godiva chocolate with turn down service. Highly recommend

The B&B was very quiet at night. The beds were comfortable and each room had its own separate bath. Breakfast (eggs benedict the day we were there) was delicious and there was plenty to eat. Weather permitting, breakfast is served outside in the garden. Transfer to/from the airport is included at no charge. The host, Brian, is very pleasant and personable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Stone Hedge B&an! The host was outstanding and the house itself (both inside and outside) was beautiful. 10 out of 10 times we would stay here again if we ever visit Vancouver.

Wonderful experience with gracious Host. A nice quiet neighbourhood With easy access from the airport. Excellent breakfast in the morning also. Highly recommended.

Shuttle service from and to airport, 4-course breakfast and a pool between green walls.

Brian the host met all our needs Nothing was a problem including switching my breakfast so it was gluten free. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend as a place to stay in Vancouver.

His wife cooked a five course breakfast with unique delicious dishes and native fruits. Served with other delightful guests by the pool. He picked us up at the airport that evening and delivered us back the next morning to catch our cruise shuttle. He was knowledgable and entertaining. We give them our highewst recommendation!

What a gem, we were there just a day. I would go back to stay longer.

Of all the B & B experiences I have had in my many years, this one was #. The character of the property, quality of accommodations, REAL (5 star) breakfast, and essence of embodied hospitality in Brian's kind presence are unprecedented for me. Hospitality artistry at its best. We will be back.

Brian is a wonderful host and takes great care of his guests. The property is nice, full of character and very well kept. Breakfast is amazing and we loved our stay there.

From the moment we arrived, our hosts Brian and Linda were amazing. Our room was large, well appointed, and they made sure to show us all the features. We had the use of the common area pool and outdoor space as well. This area was spacious, relaxing, and very clean. Our breakfast was also very nice. They served it in courses and took so much pride in the food, the presentation, and in catering to their guests needs. My wife and I highly recommend The Stone Hedge B & B.

Brian is the best host we have ever had and we travel a lot! He goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and fun. He gave us a ride from and to the airport, entertained us with fun stories and useful information about our surroundings. Also, our breakfast was delicious and set in a pretty spot outside. The swimming pool is a nice touch.

Brian and Linda are perfect hosts. The B&B is beautiful.

Very nice B&B. Hosts are super nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice as is the bathrooms. Lots of extras - tea, pop, etc. Gorgeous swimming pool. Will be back. Thank you

We book-ended our trip with stays at the Stone Hedge. The rooms are clean, quirky, and very comfortable. The garden was beautifully in bloom. A wonderful breakfast prepared by Linda and served by Brian got us off to a great start for the day. Airport transfers were greatly appreciated and we got to learn a bit about the area on the drive. So glad we chose this B&B.

Very clean and conveniently located close to the airport, the host was very friendly and they have all the amenities you could think of, highly recommend

The breakfast was outstanding!!! The host is very warm and welcoming. The patio is lovely and relaxing. The bed was a little more firm than I prefer. I would stay here again!!

We would definitely stay here again, what a lovely place and fantastic hosts and the most wonderful breakfast what more can we say.
