Location was great, loved that there was a gym and the staff were lovely.
A smart tv would have been great.
very clean
nothing
Great service and the staff are brilliant. Victoria's team are very welcoming, the food is 10/10 and the rooms are comfortable.

Whilst the breakfast choice was limited compared to some, the quality of ingredients and cooking was exceptional. All staff encountered were exceptionally polite and friendly and willing to go the extra mile.
Excellent all round. No issues at all
A lovely hotel, clean and well maintained. Situated just off the front opposite the Sealife centre three free parking in front of and around the hotel. We had a room with a separate lounge. The lounge had a fridge, microwave sink and kettle. 5 mins walk to the casino and 10 mins walk to the blackfriars tavern, a CAMRA pub of the year. Frienfly and helpful staff, nice lounge, bar and gym. Breakfast was really tasty and beautifully presented. We had full English but the other options looked equally good.
It was in a great location and the warm welcome we received upon checking in
Nothing we loved our stay
It's location to the sea front.
Not enough choice at breakfast, on holiday we like a treat, cerals, toast, yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries plus a cooked selection to help yourself from.
Had an amazing stay from the minute I rang and booked the service was fantastic. We booked for 3 nights but stay for longer. When we checked in we was great with a smile and very friendly young lady and the bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely I can highly recommend the eaten mess . The room was very clean and tidy i found the bed very comfy the shower could be a little bigger but overall was very happy will definitely stay again.
Modern design, very clean, friendly front of house,,
The breakfast staff very unfriendly, waitress ignorant and unfriendly,,
Really nice hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in..We would definitely stay here again.
The staff were great
Friendly staff and very nice clean rooms.
Not far from the beach
No parking, we were looking for a space to park for over 1 hour
The room was nice, clean, and you just make yourself at home. Very surprised this is only a 3 star Very Good hotel 👍🏽
Breakfast was top , not greasy. Came out nice and hot.!! Gym, brand new plenty there.
Really good traditional English hotel which has moved with the times
Nothing
The staff were very helpful and caring. They did everything to make our stay comfortable
The evening meal wasn't too our taste.
We had the rosemary room yes the separate seating area is lovely but unfortunately not the best 2 nights sleep the mattress was to hard and the pillows are just terrible yes I’m a big guy but couldn’t fit in the shower and the sink is tiny so trying to was in that was interesting the breakfast is nice but not worth £15 I had egg on toast again nice but 1 toast with 2 eggs £15 come on and then when we checked out I made my views to to the girl on the desk she didn’t seemed to be interested well sorry at a price of £345 for 2 nights it’s not a cheap one
Just a really nice hotel. Clean, nicely designed and laid out, excellent and friendly service. A stone's throw from the beach and all the amenities but in a quiet side street so really peaceful. Would definitely recommend
Clean and location
The lady serving breakfast was not very friendly and didn’t explain the menu and presumed we knew what to expect but we didn’t. £15 was a lot for the service and options. Our room was very small, but clean.
The staff were friendly, very clean and in a nice location. Breakfast was amazing
We were not able to enjoy our trip as we were ill and left earlier than expected
The amount of steps to our room 29 in total. Our mobility is poor. We asked for a room on the lower floor but was informed of no vacancies
Exceptional cleanliness and magnificent comfort
The staff were polite the room was clean and well taken care off
The cleanliness was amazing, the staff super kind and the breakfast was very good
There is not Air conditioning in the room so was very hot the fan is not enough at all
Great, personal service and lovely hotel
The attic room is at the top of 5 flights of narrow stairs!
Arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay at this adults only hotel. Everything was perfect, so clean and tidy, lovely bar area and sitting area too. Although we didn't eat at their restaurant, it all looked really nice on their menu and the dining room looked well presented too. Victoria was really friendly and welcoming and recommended places to visit within the area. Free on-street parking directly outside the hotel made it easy to unload our luggage and straight into the hotel foyer. The room was very clean, and again, very tidy, fluffy towels, tea and coffee making facilities, comfy bed etc. The only thing I would say is, the shower cubicle could have been slightly bigger for a 6' 1" person (myself), not the easiest space to take a shower. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I'd certainly recommend to family and friends. Unfortunately, Great Yarmouth itself has certainly seen better days and it's sad to see it in it's current state after many family holidays there in the 1970's and 1980's. I'm hoping their town council renovates some of the lovely old theatre buildings back to their former glory and also tidys up the hotels on the seafront area in the coming years.
A fantastic overnight stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a welcoming feel throughout. The room was beautifully presented and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Everything was well maintained and the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. The staff were friendly and professional, helping to make the stay effortless from start to finish. I only stayed for one night but would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Friendly, attentive, and faultless hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, peaceful, and impeccably clean. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, making us feel valued throughout our stay. Although the room wasn’t the one I originally booked, I believe we were kindly upgraded, and it turned out to be perfect. Having a separate lounge area created a wonderful home-from-home atmosphere and gave me a quiet, comfortable space to relax and spend time writing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a fantastic night’s sleep, and every part of the accommodation was beautifully maintained. I also ordered room service and enjoyed one of the best hotel burgers I’ve had in a long time—freshly prepared, full of flavour, and absolutely delicious. What made this stay truly special wasn’t just the facilities, but the feeling of comfort, care, and tranquillity throughout. I left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning. Without hesitation, I would stay here again. Highly recommended.
Spotless new looking top tier room with massive bathroom and shower
Would of been great if it had included breakfast
Breakfast was excellent room was good and the cleaning was good
Could’ve done with a bigger fan in the room
Location and rooms
Nothing really bathroom was small
Lovely hotel in good location

This is our second recent stay and re-affirmed the good impression we had on our first visit. Our room was excellent and well appointed. Considering its location near to the seafront it was very quiet. My wife invited a friend for dinner whilst I was at a function and both had a very good meal and evening.
Clean, lovely atmosphere relaxing, breakfast is perfect, staff are so helpful love it here😀😀😀
There is nothing that you cannot like its perfect

Fantastic stay here with my partner for the 1night Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff Clean and tidy bedrooms with everything u need for a stay, massive shower room!! The evening meal was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. Plenty of parking outside the hotel and only a 2mins walk from the beachfront Thankyou to everyone for a wonderful stay and andover hotel.
Nothing!!
Good size room and a comfy bed and a good location 2 minutes walk to the beach and attractions
The shower was too small didn't have room to turn around
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The decor was tasteful, the gym had new, excellent equipment, the dinner and breakfast were top notch, this is the kind of hotel I dream of when travelling for business
This was our third stay at Andover House Hotel. The rooms are immaculate, beds really comfy. Lots of space in the rooms. I needed help with accessibility problems and Victoria was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Victoria was fantastic and super friendly. Unique building and surprisingly large. Had a great Gym and the breakfast was one of the best I've had in months (and I travel a lot) the Chef "from S. Korea" should be nominated for the Master Chef program, I haven't seen passion on a plate like this in a long time. He truly has a love for food and this should not be overlooked. I think his name was Darrin (forgive me if I'm wrong but this guy is going places so please support him on his future Culinary journey, I mean that, he is one of a kind.
If I had to complain about something, the spring on the door was sooo strong it kept slamming the door closed, could adjust it a little softer (if that's my only complaint, this is a pretty amazing review :)
A great place to stay, bar, gym, restaurant it has it all really. Good room as well but no biscuits! Victoria our host was friendly & chatty. Very helpful. Short walk to the beach & places to eat etc. Ideal worth a visit. And you can park the car for free.
Nice stay and clean. Gym is also handy for me and the food was good. All in all value for money was within the stay I would stay again.
Excellent stay. Staff excellent, room comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend.
Only one thing that could have been better if it had air conditioning but this was an exceptionally hot night and I still slept very well.
Breakfast was lovely
All Good
Lovely looking property on a lovely street. It had a clean n fresh feel whilst still feeling cosy. The room was very clean simple and stylish. Had a great nights sleep.
To be fair, only stayed 1 night and didn’t make use of the bar or restaurant but not a lot too dislike.
excellent service. amazing rooms. staff always helpful. great food. close to beach and center
nothing
Friendly staff
Just a lovely hotel.
Nothing really.
Although we were unable to secure an accessibke room for my Mother, the staff were wonderful in accommodating us and were helpful and friendly. Great location, close to the beach an attractions. On street parking was a challenge but only because there are fireworks on Wednesdays during the summer.
breakfast was great , i have stayed here for many year and enjoyed the breakfast ,
it very clean and staff are very helpful
Enjoyed this hotel, lovely size suite. Staff were lovely, parking outside. Best hotel if you are looking for something bit more classy than more typical accommodation for the area. Great location
Comfortable and clean room. Customer service and breakfast always very good.
Small bathroom. Small shower. Not a king size bed.
Very clean hotel , hotel room was lovely and clean location is perfect 2 min walk to the strip , the reception lady was lovely super helpful and friendly
The smell in the bathroom was really awful made me throw up in the morning -but I have been told by next year all the toilet systems will be re newed
Restaurant wasn’t open on Sunday and a bit of a walk to find something
Great place to stay, very comfortable
We stayed at this Hotel for two nights and had a lovely room with great support from the entire team nothing was too much trouble to make our stay memorable. Parking was great immediately outside the Hotel just a few minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast was excellent no frills just really well cooked and served in a nice environment by great staff.
Beautiful hotel great location
Close to seafront and great staff and price
High score for the hotel, less for the area around, with felt somehow unsafe and run down.
Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Andover House Hotel.I can't praise this hotel enough. Great customer service by Victoria & her team,Nothing was too much trouble, always very polite & courteous. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The food was so good we ate there every evening. Great locations it's just off the seafront but close to all amenities. Will definitely stay here again next time we return to Great Yarmouth.
Excellent service, lovely food and tasteful decoration
Nice place to stay.
Lovely run and tidy establishment. Highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel was very bright and clean and had outside parking and walking distance from Bars in Yarmouth Staff were excellent
Floor was bit noisy and from downstairs people chatting late in night! All over not to bad.
clean and tidy, good value for money, close to promenade
The bed wasn't very comfortable. Otherwise, all OK.
A BEAUTIFUL room with large windows on. A quiet street just steps away from the livelier street by the beach. Perfect location, honey feel and lovely staff (and menu !!) 🙏
This was our 4th visit and once again fully met our expectations. Lovely clean suit with a nice comfortable bed and really good powerful shower. Our dinner in the restaurant was delicious (Tuscan Chicken) and very well presented, as was the breakfast that was excellent quality and really sets you up for the day. Victoria and the staff are exceptionally good at making you feel at home with nothing being too much bother. There is a well stocked bar to enjoy when you come out of the restaurant. Can’t fault this hotel and have already booked another trip in September.
Booked this last minute and wasn’t disappointed the room was better then expected spotlessly clean asked for different pillow as they are feathered and swapped no questions asked
We have visited this lovely gem of a hotel before and were not disappointed this time, as always, great customer service and we also met the lovely lady chef, who kindly customised my pasta meal to be veganized! Room was good, and bed comfortable too. Special shout out to Barbora ( not sure about the spelling!) a lovely young lady who was busy serving us and in charge of reception too, she was amazing and so friendly and helpful. We will be back!
Nice and clean, friendly staff
Finding parking wasn’t easy
Nice place on seaside. Luckily there was iron in closet.
Too small room. I’ve stayed in nr 7. No balcony. Small bathroom. Towels wasn’t changed daily. Way too big price for that.
So I am back on my travels and I can't praise this hotel highly enough. Managed by Victoria and her team it is a true gem. Immaculately modernized, with a smart bar, lounge and dining areas. You can sit outside the front and watch the world go by or relax in the quiet courtyard at the rear of the hotel. It is so central near the casino and Wellington Pier. The bedrooms [there are 27] are well planned, modernized and decorated, and very comfortable, with excellent mattresses, crisp linen and large soft fluffy towels. Super sized flat screen TV - that you can swivel , with a proper chair to sit in and relax. WIFI connected easily. Celebrating? pick the large ground floor super bedroom complete with bath as well as a walk in shower. As a listed building there is no lift - so be aware top rooms are a bit of a climb!! This is a proper adult only hotel! The prices are very fair for the high standard of the hotel. The staff are all absolutely lovely, and breakfast [served in lower ground floor room] offered a variety of choices - continental or cooked. There is room service, with evening meals if you are too tired to move far! Interesting choices on the menu. As with many hotels post covid, please remember to ask if you want your room serviced. The bar is a delightful place to end your evening. I honestly could find very little I would want changed - except a teapot for breakfast tea - I bet the next time I visit they will be supplied! And a biscuit or two with the room kettle and hot drink supplies. They offer a very personal service, so ring up and ask for the type of room you want, and book direct with the hotel, that way you will get a discount or free breakfast. Outside there is on street parking, but it is a quiet road, I found a space and unlike a lot of Great Yarmouth it is free. Great Yarmouth itself has so much to offer, and if you are going for a show at the Hippodrome or Gorleston Pavilion or one on Britannia Pier this is such a good choice.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
En-suite showers are very small and no toiletries. No staff or bar after 10.30pm.
An excellent stay, always a warm welcome, food is amazing, 10/10
lovely hotel with friendly staff
Excellent hotel, really lovely and accommodating people - would definitely recommend.
Nothing to fault.
