Absolutely stunning large villa. Beautiful communal pool & sun-beds. Outdoor Balinese bathroom which was so pretty & luxe. Jungle Tree restaurant is on site too which is amazing and Open from 8am until late. Great location (my opinion South Sanur is the best).

Possibly the lamp shades beside the bed were the only thing that needed replacing (stained and didn’t stay on lamp properly).

Ons mooiste verblijf op Bali tot nu toe! We hebben echt onze ogen uitgekeken, zo prachtig was het hier. Het personeel is supervriendelijk, de huiskatten in de tuin zijn ontzettend lief en de mooie koikarpers in onze eigen vijver maakten het helemaal af.We vonden het heel jammer om weg te gaan, maar we komen hier absoluut nog eens terug!

An oasis away from the bustle of Sanur. HUGE grounds and enormous individual villas and a few minutes walk to the beach. You could easily imagine how great it would be to host a large family gathering etc

Looking at things in detail it’s looking a bit past its prime in some places but given the tropical weather it’s not a surprise. The band at the attached restaurant can get a bit loud and late. I was fine with earplugs, my friend wasn’t.

Location is great. The huge gardens and lawn area very well maintained and made our stay peaceful and natural. Staff are very friendly and hospitable.

The villas were spacious, clean and peaceful, with beautiful gardens and a relaxing pool area. The staff were absolutely lovely and always helpful, and the location in Sanur was perfect — close to restaurants, shops and the beach. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist super. Man kann sich selbst etwas zu Essen machen oder im angrenzenden Restaurant bestellen.

The complex is beautiful and our villa is stunning. We enjoyed watching the fish in the pond as well as relaxing on the daybed or in the pool. Great restaurants nearby and only a short walk to the beach.

There are a few areas of the villa that could do with some maintenance eg cupboard doors kept opening, cracks in render and toilet roll holder was loose. Not big issues but let the luxury level down a bit. A toaster in the kitchen would be great.

Noise from the bans in the restaurant till 11. Pm Tolerable, the Rock Band at Linga Longa seven nights till 2.00 am too load, too long, too little sleep.

Overall experience

The location was perfect. The grounds were excellent. The pool was great for all ages. Our family group of 10 covering 3 generations was very well looked after. We celebrated a 60th birthday and the staff could not do enough for us. We had a wonderful time.

Nice pool with a lovely grass area around it. Good location. It was once a very grand hotel, it is slightly run down now, but still has a good feeling. It has an attached restaurant thats nice, but expensive.

The rooms have big windows with paths that staff walk past. So you have the drawer the curtains when changing so the room is very dark.

Clean spacious and a very comfortable bed. Ticked all the boxes. A beautiful property, great location we would definitely recommend.

We loved the large outdoor space, perfect for kids to run around. The two bedroom villa was so spacious, we loved the indoor outdoor spaces and the day beds were a real treat. The pool was also lovely and gardens and lawn too. Great location, just a short stroll to the beach and foreshore strip.

Central location and large rooms and beautiful daytime area to relax

Room #12-our room was new, clean and fresh with a great outdoor seating area and kitchen and lounge bed with mosquito netting. The bathroom was open air but lots of greenery to feel private. Very lovely.

The room shared a back alley with a nightclub that played loud music past midnight every night. Also even though the rooms are large, the bedroom is attached/beside the bedroom of the next suite and noise travels very easily. In our case we could hear a baby crying several times during the night, every night. Not the baby’s fault but still disruptive.

Heerlijke villa met een hele fijne buitenruimte aan een prachtige tuin met zwembad. Schoon en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Genoeg eetgelegenheden in de buurt en strand is op loopafstand. En anders lekker met de taxi!

Er was geen ontbijt beschikbaar bij de accommodatie zelf, maar in de straat zitten genoeg leuke tentjes en bij het restaurant was zeer goede koffie te halen.

The villa exceeded our expectations. Lots of space and very Bali vibe. The huge outside bathroom was fun, as well as the frogs and fish in the waterways between our bedroom, kitchen and lounge areas. Mossie net a necessity. Hired bikes for our stay which we felt was a necessity for getting around, but plenty of places within walking distance. Reasonable pick up and drop off to airport rates.

Three things to improve future stays! 1. Pool was very cloudy/murky. Last day they scrubbed the green slime off the edges and so then that floated around for the day. Pool cleanliness was not a highlight. 2. Some paved paths around the property would be good to avoid sloshing through the grass after rain. 3. The fallen tree in the middle of the property is a bit of an eyesore. Other than that the garden area was great and spacious.

Outdoor cushions on chairs could be a bit more comfortable and an extra lounge chair in the room.

I really wanted to give this hotel a very high rating, but unfortunately, I cannot. Near the end of our stay, we realized that when we paid for our accommodation on the first day, the hotel charged our credit card using DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) without informing us or asking for our consent. We naturally assumed the payment was made in local currency, as we were never given a choice. When we asked the staff member who processed the payment (Andi) whether it was possible to redo the transaction, we were told that it was already processed and could not be reversed. What upset me more was being asked why we didn’t request local currency in the first place. This was frustrating, because the hotel never informed us that DCC was being applied, even though the receipt itself states that customer consent is required. Not informing a guest about DCC and charging it automatically can be considered extremely inappropriate, and in some cases, could even be viewed as a form of payment misconduct. As a result, we lost over 100 USD due to unfavorable exchange rates. We chose not to argue further at the end of our trip, but I am writing this review so that other guests do not experience the same situation. That said, I would like to mention that all other staff members were very kind, professional, and sincere. Thank you to those who continued to greet us with a smile until the very end. There was one incident where a very large cockroach appeared, but staff came quickly and handled it promptly. Any issues such as electricity problems were also addressed immediately. Overall, the service attitude of most staff was excellent, but the lack of transparency regarding the payment process was deeply disappointing.

De ligging in een prachtige tuin. Met een lekker zwembad. Het personeel zeer vriendelijk. Ontbijt via de kaart in het bijgelegen restaurant was ook prima.

De muziek van het restaurant was s’avonds storend als je bij je villa buiten zat. Het stopte wel rond tien uur.

От пляжей недалеко, самые лучшие рестораны Санура рядом, притом один из них прям в Natah Bali, уборка каждый день, большая своя приватная территория, общая зона отдыха у чистого бассейна, полностью оборудованная своя кухонная зона. Loved the gardens and the outdoor area of our villa. The villa had everything we needed and the staff turned down our beds at night and cleaned our room every morning. The location was great and there was a great restaurant within the property Close to restaurants, beach and walking/jogging path.

No hot water for showers. Needs a pathway to get to the villa as the grass is sloshy in the rain.

Peaceful, beautiful setting. Indoor - outdoor space great, spacious villas, lovely pool, very good onsite restaurant. All the people were fab. It’s not a 5star facility packed place but is amazingly relaxing and very well looked after. Strongly recommend!

The villa more than exceeded my expectations. Set in lovely surroundings in a well kept green area and with a lovely pool, it was such a relaxing place to be. The villa was beautiful with a kitchen and 2 seating areas outside. Inside, the bed was large and comfortable and through the back the outside bathroom was amazing and spotlessly clean.

Loved the old school style villas very beautifully looked after. Such a slow steady vibe. Amazing gardens. The pool was lovely.

The only thing that would have been great was consistent turn down service and mozzie coils around the villa.

Love layout of the rooms. Cozy room with a great amount of outdoor space. Easy to just hang out around the villa all day:) The property has a bit more of the good Bali feel which is a nice treat when you’re in Sanur where there are so many built up resorts. We stay here every time we come to Sanur. Love how each of the rooms are so different yet we’ve enjoyed every one of them equally. The property also has a great restaurant Jungle Tree offering up amazing traditional Balinese cuisine, proper cocktails and live music, a great place to come even if you’re not staying at Natah Bale.

We had the first villa closest to the local bars. Noise from the nearby bar runs loud and late. Made it difficult to sleep before midnight.

Super spacious villas in a sublime garden setting with fabulous pool. Spent hours watching the squirrels and Kao fish in the private outdoor lounge on huge day beds. Love the outdoor kitchen and bathroom. Great location away from the main hustle but only a 10min walk to everything including the beach. Jungle Tree restaurant adjacent was great for breakfast and dinner.

Would love a towel rack for bathers/towel and next time I’ll book the villas by the pool - was a bit noisy at night with the night club nearby.

Een paradijsje oase maar alles vlakbij zoals restaurantjes, barretjes, fietsen verhuur naast de deur en op een paar honderd meter lopen naar het strand van zuidelijk Sanur waar het ook ‘s avonds heerlijk rondlopen is. Er zijn genoeg restaurants waar je tegen schappelijke prijzen kan eten gezellig gezeten op het strand. De villa zelf is heerlijk groot met als extra een buitenkeuken, chill zone en grote deels een buiten badkamer. Veel ruimte om de villa heen met veel groen en centraal een prima zwembad.

Enige nadeel vonden wij dat het er tot ‘s avonds 24.00 nogal luidruchtig was vanwege de live music vanaf de straatkant. Maar we zouden zeker terugkomen.

Prachtige villa met nog mooiere tuin. Heel lief personeel. Je loopt de tuin uit en bent midden in het centrum van Sanur.

For the pretty top price we paid it seemed tired and faded rather than luxury. It was something amazing in its day and the aircon works. But now it was difficult getting some locks to work. The fan made sudden clanking noise after an hour. The pool should be a better feature, and near a relaxing bar so you can see the kids and dip in and out. There could be some nice trees to sit under - but just a big low maintenance open patch of grass. One might think residents get a good price on a breakfast in the restaurant, but no. A loud drilling noise all the time from local building works right next to our rooms when we paid top dollar but nobody cared or came to apologise for this. No properly attended reception added to an atmosphere of past glory. Great to have a taste of colonial luxury if you get a bargain price, but we were expecting something better.

One of the best hotel stays during my time in Indonesia. The villa was incredibly clean (and smelled fantastic) and very spacious. Loved the layout with the outdoor spaces - living room and kitchen and the cute pathway in between. The pool was wonderful too. I had a great relaxing stay. It was my last stay before returning home and I loved how quick the car ride to the airport was so the location is another plus. It’s out of the area of Sanur that is currently undergoing road construction so you’re away from the noise/dust and traffic jam. And it’s a very short walk from the beach. The hotel compound is a green oasis - absolutely relaxing to be here. Bonus points to the wonderful cleaning staff who kept my room so clean and made these cute towel sculptures and flowers.

This hotel is very quiet and has a huge grass area in between the villas. Like an oasis!

Very relaxing - a real haven of tranquility. stunning accommodation… loved the walkway over a pond of koi to get into our villa. Staff are super friendly. Close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Really love it here.

Bella struttura , villa molto grande e confortevole immersa in un grande giardino molto curato. Personale attento e disponibile a risolvere tutte le nostre eventuali richieste. All’ interno della struttura ci anche un bel ristorante dove si mangia molto bene , con il giusto prezzo. Si può arrivare al mare con una passeggiata di pochi minuti, percorrendo una strada tranquilla .,inoltre sempre belle vicinanze a due passi a piedi si possono trovare negozi supermercati e ristoranti .

Very nice location, quiet place, big pool

The size and comfort of our villa and the close proximity to the beach - an easy 5 minute walk. The Jungle Tree restaurant and bar attached to the resort served great food, had very pleasant live acoustic music every evening and delightful staff.

The unfortunate loud music at night from nearby restaurants/ bars on Thursday Friday and Saturday. Our villa was situated closest to the road side of the resort , so the noise may not have been as loud in the villas at the other end of the resort near the pool.
