Lage ist wirklich top, mit Taxi ist man überall schnell. Am Abend ein Spaziergang direkt am Fluss und die Lichtshow genießen. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer war grandios. Wir hatten einige spezielle Wünsche geäußert und alle wurden sofort erfüllt.

Top Hotel in bester Lage mit Blick über den Hai Fluss, moderne geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit viel Liebe zum Detail - besonders der „Bar-Schrank“ im chinesischen Stil hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Guter Service, sehr gute Betten, tolles Schwimmbad und umfangreich ausgestatteter Fitnessraum - beide mit Blick auf den Hai Fluss. Viele Restaurants und Cafés, Kino, Supermarkt usw. nebenan im Shoppingcenter „Riverview“

Das Zimmer hätte im Detail etwas sauberer sein können (leichter Staub auf dem Barschrank) , an der Zimmertür fehlt ein Lichtschalter, man muss erst zum Bett gehen um die passenden Schalter zu finden, bei Nacht ist dies unangenehm.

Room was fantastic and we were upgraded to a suite which was beyond our expectation. Breakfast was great and offered a variety of food but the international selection, I think was ok only. Location wise was quite good and a short walk from the subway. It was also next to a shopping mall which had a number of eateries and shops. However it seem business was not vey good during the period of our stay.

Decided to visit the city and chose Shangri-La TianJin to stay for a night. Hotel hospitality was superb- felt very welcomed at this hotel. Staff were very attentive and thoughtful, always trying to make your stay a pleasant one. Stayed in the club room- room was big, toilet was big with dual faucet. Gym is 24hrs as well, and was well equipped! Club lounge was beautiful, with very friendly and attentive staff. Had a great experience here and would definitely be back if I visit TianJin again.

I recently had the privilege of staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in Tianjin, and it was an unforgettable experience in every way. The hotel truly stands out for its attention to detail, luxurious accommodations, and world-class service. I stayed in one of the hotel’s suites, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The suite was incredibly spacious, beautifully furnished, and provided breathtaking views of the Hai River and Tianjin’s skyline. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the luxurious bathroom, was designed with comfort and elegance in mind. The suite also featured modern amenities that made my stay both comfortable and convenient. One of the true highlights of staying in a suite at the Shangri-La Tianjin is the access to the exclusive Horizon Club. This private space offers an oasis of calm and relaxation. Whether for a quiet breakfast, afternoon tea, or evening cocktails, the Horizon Club provides a peaceful and elegant setting to unwind. The personalized service in this lounge was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make every moment special. The dining experience at the Shangri-La Tianjin is equally impressive. I had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant, which is renowned for its original Beijing duck. The quality and authenticity of the dish were outstanding, rivaling even some of the most famous restaurants in Beijing. The crisp skin and tender, flavorful meat were simply perfection, and the presentation was equally stunning. The restaurant's other offerings were also of the highest standard, with a wide variety of dishes to suit any palate. Throughout my stay, the service was impeccable. From the moment I checked in until the time I left, every member of the staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. It’s clear that the Shangri-La Tianjin is committed to providing a five-star experience in every aspect, and they certainly exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful hotel, great service

Thanks alot for shangrila's warm welcome that made us feeling very comfortable and happy, And offered us the atmosphere and facilities to make amazing memories with our 10month old son. Special Thanks for Mr. Omi Du, Such an Amazing Man. Always available to help us and ensure that we are feeling comfortable. Honestly He is one of the reasons that we always love to stay in shangrila Tianjin.

Club lounge was very comfortable with great views. Beds were also very comfortable. The men’s sauna area had a nice resting area. The breakfast was extensive on level 1.

The housekeeping missed items of trash left untouched for 2 days that should have been picked up if they looked just a little beyond the immediate walk path around the bed. Didn’t instill confidence in the way they turn over rooms between guests. Men’s spa area smelled strongly of mildew. The hot tub also had a slimey build up on the tiles under the water. They don’t seem to regulate the smoking area closely so the whole room smelled of cigarette smoke.

It is a great hotel and the service people are very nice and helpful. We had to cancel some days that we had booked already due to the family situation change, the front desk girl Celine helped us to process that and we are very grateful.

Generally not one to leave a review but this hotel stay was so excellent I really had to write this down. Every one service staff from the manager to the crew at the front desk to the restaurant staff deserved gold stars. Had a good offer to add lounge access which allowed our family to have the option for breakfast tea and dinner there with an amazing river view regardless of the time. Room on 31 floor was excellent with gorgeous views of the river and the city. Room was very comfortably sized and the ability to add an extra bed. The extra touch of having children amenities including bedroom slippers was such a nice touch. Location was also good to get around overall by taxi. Grand welcoming lobby entrance. I will definitely highly recommend this hotel whether for business or family trip like ours.

Food was not proper and there is not much of a variety. All services are over by 11 except the room service, so not much to do by the night. And tennis courts were like ruins, that was the only reason I booked for this hotel and it was quite disappointing to see a 5-star franchise has these neglected facilities.

Tianjin Shangri-la is the best hotel in Tianjin and the best Shangri-la hotel in ASIA. Good food, wonderful river-view and the best service. After I injured my leg, I checked into a hotel. The hotel staff pushed me in a wheelchair the whole time, which was very touching.

There is only one functional power outlet in the room. And there is no power outlets next to the bed night stands, which is inconvenient for charging phone.

Cleanliness

the location is excellent as it is close by the Haihe river and tourist attractions such as Wudadao. From the room one can have a bird eye's view of the skyline of Tianjin, which is especially delightful at night.

The breakfast is not ideal; the selection is mediocre at best and lack highlights. The crepe dish, which is supposed to be specialty Tianjing breakfast dish, is tasteless.

Thank you so much for the lovely stay. We came to Tianjin for my husband's birthday but the first hotel we booked was not good, we felt so disappointed. We decided to move hotel for our last night and booked the Shangri-la Tianjin. It was the best decision we could have made. Niki gave us a warm welcome at reception, she was so accommodating, she helped us to get an early check-in and the concierge immediately saw it was my husband's birthday while checking his passport. They promised him a cake and were very helpful with the check-in and checkout process. We paid a bit extra for the lounge access and the lounge was beautiful with lovely staff there too. The room was clean, with great amenities, plus we had a wonderful view of the river. Thank you so much to all the staff at Shangri-la Tianjin for saving our weekend and making my husband's birthday an extra happy one!
