There is work being done along the walkway to our room. Not pretty to look at but I'm sure it will look nice when done.

The public toilets near the pool bar were always dirty. They should be cleaned regular considering it’s was the only toilet in the lobby area for all the guests to use.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026The staff were friendly, except for the operator when I dialled 0 to order breakfast through room service. I ordered pancakes and hot chocolate and was shocked when she told me to just go to the third floor and have breakfast there instead. I was annoyed and told her that I did not appreciate being told what to do. What is the point of offering room service if guests are then told to go to the third floor to dine instead? It was very disappointing. In the end, she apologised, which I appreciated, but the experience left a negative impression.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Amazing - really friendly, polite and very happy smily staff. Clean rooms, great location, great breakfasts. Fab reflexology at the spa.
Standard pool view room lacked the space to store/access our luggage, had to leave it on the floor & walk around it. Could hear the guests upstairs flushing their toilet! Found the main pool a bit cold & sun disappeared from the pool in the afternoon. Found after booking on booking.com that I could have got a better deal booking direct with the Marriott with further inclusions (discounts on food/drink & spa & a free meal) for the same price as I pain on booking.com. Prob wouldn't do breakfast included next time as it meant we didn't experience all the great restaurants around.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026The staff and the snakes and different entertainers if you wanted to be a part of it also the little bus that takes you to the shops and the beach
Where the pool is surrounded closely by the hotel buildings it’s very shady on one side always in the shade and the other side in the shade by the afternoon whicj is a real shame as no sun is no good when you want to be in the sunshine and it’s not such a happy feeling being in the shade plus it minimizes the amount of beds available that are in the sun so people put their towels on them ftpm early early morning so there’s none left by after breakfast . Though the hotel say if left unattended they will move the towels but never saw it
