Very Diligent and considerate staff. A very good social atmosphere.

First station when I landed in Athens I came to the youth hostel and stayed there for a couple of nights I was also there last year had a great experience that's why I came back! The guys there are super and available to help and answer questions if needed.

I think AC would definitely upgrade the shared rooms sometimes with a fan it's still too hot even in September. All in all it's okay.

This is one of those hostels that had a home from home vibe to it, and that was totally all down to the guys running it. The vibes were amazing the staff couldn't have been more helpful, small things like remembering the names of everyone staying, went a long way. Theyre locals and know the city and gave us alot of small niche things out side the main tourist stuff to go see and do which made the overall trip alot more enjoyable. Stayed in alot of places, I'd give this a recommendation 👍

Showers are run on a 10 min hot water cycle. Not a big deal but was definitely made fully aware of the 10minutes being up when the water became very cold. (Not the case for the women's showers)

The decor of the place is very beautiful and pleasing to the eye.

Super friendly staff. The neighbourhood was calm and safe, one of the best places in Athens. One of the best hostel experiences in my life.

This hostel was genuinely one of my favourite parts of my stay in Athens. As one of the oldest surviving hostels in the city, it has a wonderful character and atmosphere that you simply don’t find in newer places. The old Athenian architecture, the lovely inner courtyard that makes the place feel almost like a little campus, and all the quirky, original details give it a very special personality. Everyone should go upstairs and see the wonderful macramé mountain-house picture among the plants! The staff make the place even more special. Kyria Marina is an absolute character — incredibly warm, charming and helpful — and George is amazing to talk to. Everyone was friendly, smiling and genuinely helpful, and they know both the neighbourhood and Athens extremely well. I also found the hostel very clean, thoughtfully organised and well designed. The shower facilities were particularly good. It feels like a place with history, personality and people who actually care about it.

I stayed during the very hot days of August, so air conditioning would certainly have made the rooms more comfortable. There were fans, which definitely helped, but during an Athenian heatwave you do feel the absence of A/C. That said, this was a minor drawback for me compared with everything I loved about the hostel.

Very cooperative. Every thing is managed well and promptly regarding the comfort of tre visitor. Beautiful and genuine atmosphere.

It’s a fair walk away from the centre of town. No air conditioning in our room which made the nights a bit uncomfortable. Kitchen could do with an upgrade. Non sociable hostel fyi.

It’s a hidden secluded gem. You’re right in the cosiest part of Athens away from all the noise and graffiti. George was a wonderful host, and the vibes here were friendly. Food wise you won’t have an issue here at all, and of all the hostels I’ve been to, this was by far the best one

大概是雅典最便宜的住宿選擇～ :D 青旅主要負責人George非常熱情親切、幽默搞笑，一抵達的時候就會熱情開門迎接，也會提供一些美食/旅遊攻略。 因為沒有電梯，員工很好心的幫我把我的大行李箱搬到我住個樓層。 我是住在混性別5人房，除了我都是男生，不過非常安全！ 我是睡在獨立床，我看上下舖的上面的床會滿難爬上去的！ 整體而言環境很乾淨，員工把這裡打造的很像溫馨的家。有廚房可以使用。 進去會需要繳交鑰匙押金，退房會退還押金，退房時也會需要幫忙把枕頭套與被單拆掉繳回。 基本上員工都會在，有問題找他們，他們都會熱心幫忙～

位置稍微比較遠一點，但搭公車可以到，因為是在坡上，帶著行李箱會比較難移動。 沒有冷氣，夏天的時候來可能要考慮一下。所有室友都一直在流汗，男生們都上空睡覺。 也因為天氣熱的關係，房間也有嚴重的味道。 浴室非常小，放置用品與衣服的空間不夠，外面有掛勾，但無法掛的東西基本上都是放在外面地板。

Very fun place with chill vibes and great energy - specially Terry! I stayed 9 nights there and met many fun guests. It's very budget-friendly and is run passionately by a very small crew - the owner, Marina, is a very sweet and welcoming lady. Everything is kept clean, beds are comfortable and the place is well equipped. The location is amazing as it's in a very nice neighborhood with great spots at walking distance. Lives up to the youthful, backpacker reputation.

J'ai apprécié cette nuit à l'auberge. Je suis arrivée tard et repartie tôt mais j'ai été très bien accueillie. Il y a une âme incroyable dans ce lieu. C'est vraiment très beau. La salle de bain n'est pas immense mais largement suffisante et j'ai apprécié l'attention accordée à la consommation d'eau. Je me suis sentie bien :)

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The residents were extremely friendly too. The kitchen is well equipped. I visited in summer and there were fans in the room so it wasn’t hot. The hostel is a few minutes walk to the road so it’s easily accessible by bus. Overall, I had a great stay!

Location is safe, in an authentic area of the city. Not really close to the center, but 30 min. walk. It was very clean. Despite the fact that facilities are not all shiny and new, I did not have any worries about hygiene in the hostel.

There was no AC, but there were 3 electric fans in the room so we managed. Common area is not that comfortable or interesting to sit in. Also, access to common area and more importantly kitchen is closed from 11pm to 7am. You get clean sheets to put on your bed and you are asked to bring them back to the reception when you are checking out. You are asked for 10e deposit for the keys and, If on your last day you want to leave the room before 9am (reception opens at 9am), you are also advised and asked to return the keys (for the entrance of the hostel, room door and the locker) the night before. The guy at the reception had a way about him that to me looked like he strugled to hide the fact that guests are just interupting his day. Bathrooms are clean, but they are small, as other reviews said. I am 160 cm tall and I could not comfortably use the stall or the shower. All in all, in my opinion, this hostel really is geared to very young people, as the name of the hostel clearly indicates. Not suitable for ages 26 and up, in my personal opinion.

Pretty good location close to Athens centre. Very easy check-in and check-out.

It does get very hot overnight because of a lack of AC. I don’t know how often the kitchen towels and fridges get cleaned.

It is in walkable distance to everything important to see in Athens, the staff and other people staying are extremely nice and sociable and young.

There is no air conditioning and in the summer it gets very hot. Also the provided sheets were dirty.

ドミトリーの部屋にはエアコンがなく扇風機があるだけで夜にとても暑かった。

C'est un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais c'est quand même plutôt sale. Et malheureusement, j'ai trouvé une punaise de lit. Je n'en ai trouvé qu'une seule, morte, mais ça m'a convaincue de ne pas rester. Le propriétaire a été très compréhensif et a remboursé la moitié de mon séjour, donc je suis tout de même très reconnaissante.

Buena atención por parte del encargado. Te asignan locker con llave, tienen cocina en el espacio común con todos los utensilios necesarios y nevera también.

Podría ser un poco más amplios los espacios, tipo; baños y duchas, pero se entiende que es parte del concepto de Hostel.

El personal era amable. Esta bien ubicado en un barrio con restaurantes y supermercados, relativamente cerca al centro

Las instalaciones no eran las mejores, la cocina se veía descuidada y sin buenos utensilios de cocina. La habitación no tiene aire acondicionado y en verano hace incluso mas calor dentro de la habitación que afuera.

Very friendly staff! George was welcoming and chill to talk to. Good location, safe and close to some shops and bus stops. Rooms are good for a hostel, gets really hot tho even with the fans going but depends on the weather of course. Showers were quite small but able to do everything you need, hot water available.

The people here were awesome- from the get-go it seemed like everybody staying here was family. Don’t expect anything super nice, but if you’re backpacking and just stopping here for a few nights, a bunk bed will definitely do the trick. I felt very welcomed and safe the whole time 🤗

There is no air conditioning which we knew prior to booking however it was unbearably hot and we ended up booking elsewhere.

I had a great one-week stay at this hostel in Athens—friendly staff, clean facilities, a great atmosphere, and an excellent location. I highly recommend it!

The owners are sooooo friendly, nice and supportive! My flight to Athens landed at nearly 1 a.m, then he still accepted to stay awake until nearly 2:30 a.m to help me to check-in. The room space is good for travelers without lots of stuffs. The area is clean and has a lot of plants that makes it so cute.

I think...I should say that I don't really hate it: no AC, just electrical fans. But I could not ask for more with less than 20EUR/night in Athens. And actually, Greece was not in affects of heatwave at that time, so I think that was the baseline of summer there, and the fans were still acceptable to assure that we can sleep.

Legendary Hosts! Great location, super easy to reach and perfect for solo and not only solo travelers. Last but not least, fantastic staff who make you feel welcome from the start of your stay. Very friendly and lovely people all around!

This is my second stay at this hostel and when you go all you will hear from others is how it is the best hotel in all of Athens. The staff are so friendly, the people are amazing and you will surely have a good time. I'm so grateful to have found this place because I feel like I have a home away from home in Athens now :)

I stayed in the hostel for 4 nights during a mid June heat wave, with daily high temperatures of around 32 C. It was quite hot in the hostel rooms due to the predictable lack of air conditioning, although there were some fans in the room that mitigated the temperature substantially. Your keys include a key to one of the lockers, which are fairly spacious and capable of fitting two medium sized backpacks, although they would probably struggle to fit a standard carry on bag and a backpack. The beds are decently comfortable, and the sheets are ok, although the pillows are of hostel quality haha. The bathrooms were pretty nice, with the toilet area split from the shower area. Both areas were quite clean. Inside the bathrooms there was also a coin operated washer and dryer, which was €5 to wash and dry a load. All of the water from the sinks is potable, and attached to the entry hall is a small public kitchen area. Overall it was a very nice experience.

We found it quite far from everything. Also the rooms have no air con. We had 3 fans going at night and it was unbearably hot in the room.

Great crew are very helpful with a positive attitude towards tourists.

Posizione ottima, ben collegata con la metro e bus, ma anche é possibile raggiungere il centro a piedi. Il quartiere é tranquillo e sicuro, con supermarket, bar, ristorante, forni, fast food e locali notturni nelle vicinanze! L' ambiente nell' ostello é molto tranquillo e rilassato, le aree comuni invitano a fermarsi e chiacchierare con le altre persone! Letto comodo e camera confortevole e dotata di Locker! I bagni sono sempre puliti! Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile e amichevole! É stato molto piacevole soggiornare un paio di giorni qui, sarei rimasta anche più a lungo!

Everything was nice. The location is good, close to the national park and about 35 minutes walk to the neighbourhoods like Plaka and Monastiraki. on your way to the historical sites like the Acropolis, you can visit the National Park, Panathenaic Stadium, and Hellenic Parliament! The staff are lovely, George is a super friendly and cool person and will help you with information regarding transportation, good restaurants and any other helps you may need. Terry is so kind and nice and you will enjoy talking with him. Bathrooms and showers were clean, the kitchen was clean and nice and a shared place for gathering with a TV to watch football! I loved it there and highly recommend it.

The stairs might be a bit annoying for carrying heavy bags
