The pool was lovely … nice cool temp and very clean. The ambiance was very nice. Fixtures and fitting of good quality and a little unique eg an old telephone exchange

We had a couple of issues, where the staff were not as excellent in customer service as we had expected. We did however speak to the manager and she was good and I’m sure this will not be an issue for future customers.

Hotellet är charmigt och känns personligt med en oerhört vacker trädgård som ramar in området på ett fint sätt. Boendet ligger i ett lugnt område, så lite gångavstånd är det till centrum, men det är det värt. Supervänlig och hjälpsam personal och jättebra frukost! Så skönt med en pool att svalka av sig i under heta dagar i juni. Tack för en toppenvistelse! Jag trodde mitt lilla enkelrum skulle kännas trångt men det var fint och jag njöt av den lilla balkongen bakom det blommande jakarandaträdet.

Sparvarna ville äta upp frukosten utomhus, man kunde inte lämna sin plats, och de flög även in i restaurangen ibland.

The hotel has everything that you might require for an accommodation where you're going to spend the majority of your time out of the hotel. Nothing is missing, but nothing is wow.

While I liked the hotel as a facility, however the team, I believe, requires no less than 3 to 6 months of dedicated training on how to smile, and eventually how to deal with customers; also (while some of the staff can speak English ) the others that can not have to appreciate people who cannot speak Spanish, as they kept engaging with me in conversation in Spanish, as if I had to understand them. Frankly the team friendliness should be revisited by the management.

It’s in a really nice residential area with nice restaurants around. A 15 mins walk away from the centre. On good bus routes. Great swimming pool, nice restaurant with lovely food. Staff very friendly.

L'hôtel est propre, les chambres très spacieuses, la literie très confortable. Le personnel très agréable. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très complet Les lignes de bus passent à proximité (5 mn à pied) Nous avons pu rayonner facilement dans toutes les directions. Le centre ville est à environ 25 mn à pied Environnement très calme

Les desserts de la 1/2 pension ne sont pas très variés. Les entrées et plats sont très corrects.

We were fine to walk to the marina and into Palma it’s only 15 mins But there are a series of steps to navigate so some people may need to consider this

Beautiful hotel close to the centre of Palma. Almost felt like a hidden gem. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe at this hotel. The pool area was so peaceful. Pool was very clean and water temp was perfect! A large selection of drink and snacks available. I had pan con tomate and a frappe cappuccino for breakfast and it was delicious. The staff made me feel so welcome from the minute I arrived. One male staff member came across as a little unfriendly, but this was more than made up for by the lovely and welcoming attitude of the other staff members. Will definitely return to this hotel!

The only real let down was that the air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night, around 2am. I tried everything I could to get it working again but unfortunately had no luck. I called reception to let them know, explaining that the room had become extremely hot, especially given that it was over 30°C outside and had been close to 40°C during the day. It was genuinely unbearable, to the point that even my iPhone stopped charging because it was overheating. I was told that it would be looked at and fixed in the morning, which unfortunately meant I was unable to sleep for the rest of the night. This was resolved the following morning by a lovely female receptionist, who was very apologetic and helpful. One other thing worth mentioning is that I was charged £20 more for my stay than the price that was advertised when I originally booked. I would have appreciated some clarification around this.

Le soir nous avons eu trop régulièrement des patates sinon les menus proposés étaient bien et bon. Dommage de ne pas avoir des carafe d'eau ainsi que du pain supplémentaire (sans extra) Dommage également de ne pas avoir un accès au spa sans extra 😭

Muito agradável! As árvores e vegetação deixam o lugar fresco e aconchegante. A piscina também é muito boa… embora no horário de pico faltam espreguiçadeiras, precisa chegar cedo. Da pra estacionar na frente do hotel (por não ter estacionamento próprio) mas pelas árvores o carro sempre fica na sombra. Tinha chaleira elétrica o que facilitou tomar meu cafezinho logo cedo :)

Na TV não era smart pra colocar minha Netflix então não dava pra assistir por que os canais que tinham era em espanhol. Embora podia ter microondas nos quartos. Mas isso não estava na descrição então eu já sabia que não teria.

Struttura bella, che presenta le caratteristiche di un 4 stelle nonostante ne abbia solo 3, posizione a 30 min a piedi dal centro, la piscina ma anche il giardino circostante rendono possibile rilassarsi ancora di più.

Il prezzo, un po’ troppo alto rispetto ai servizi offerti nel senso che se pago quasi 300€ per una notte mi mi aspetterei come minimo che la colazione e l’uso della spa sia incluso e non che preveda un ulteriore pagamento.

Le personnel de réception était pas des plus agréables, lit un peu dur et toilettes pas très stables.

Return visit, previously stayed at Easter. Lovely hotel, staff and location is close to the centre but far away enough to be peaceful.

La chambre super, exactement comme nous avons demandé (étage supérieur, calme, ...). La piscine très bien avec le service cocktail, café, le restaurant très bien aussi et tout le personnel très agréable et à l'écoute. Nous allons revenir avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Mi estancia en el Hotel Araxa fue muy buena. La habitación estaba limpia, era cómoda y tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. También tenía nevera y calentador de agua, lo cual fue muy práctico. El hotel es bastante tranquilo, así que pude descansar bien. El único pequeño inconveniente fue que el aire acondicionado hacía un poco de ruido, aunque no fue un problema importante. La ubicación también es muy buena. Cerca del hotel hay una calle con muchos restaurantes y supermercados. Además, hay varias paradas de autobús desde donde se puede ir fácilmente a la playa o al centro de Palma.

En general, todo estuvo bien y no encontré ningún inconveniente significativo. Una buena opción para alojarse en Palma.

Loved your breakfast

Hotel ma veľmi prekvapil svojou pokojnou atmosférou. Motto "oáza pokoja" úplne vystihuje charakter hotela. Príjemné posedenie pri raňajkách, málo ľudí pri bazéne s jemne slanou vodou, či možnosť rezervácie obeda "menu del día" za super cenu. Hotel taktiež ponúka ďalší servis, ako sú masáže, či požičanie bicyklov. Od centra hlavného mesta Palma je vzdialený cca 30 minút chôdze pešo a na najbližšiu mestskú pláž cca 40 minút.

El personal muy agradable y amable. El gimnasio nos gustó mucho y las camas muy cómodas.

El ascensor funciona un poco mal y la piscina está demasiado fría.

Great location, as it’s close to the port/marina and there is a bus stop around the corner. Super comfy beds, air con is great, as was the restaurant and gym. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially as I extended my stay.

Avoid using the laundry service, €25 for three items that were poorly washed. The coffee both at breakfast and at lunch wasn’t the best quality. Not a major issue but a water fountain in the gym would be great.

Nos alojamos en el Hotel Araxa y la experiencia fue bastante buena. La habitación estaba limpia, era cómoda y contaba con aire acondicionado, algo que se agradece mucho en verano. Las instalaciones están bien cuidadas y la piscina es un punto a favor para relajarse después de un día de turismo. Además, el bar/restaurante del hotel está bien, con un ambiente agradable para tomar algo o comer sin salir del alojamiento. En general, una buena opción para alojarse en Palma de Mallorca.

Como punto negativo, la ubicación no nos terminó de convencer. Aunque el hotel está en Palma, se encuentra algo alejado del centro y para ir a las zonas más turísticas hay que desplazarse. Si quieres visitar el centro andando, puede resultar un poco incómodo.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und groß. Die Aussicht vom Balkon war umwerfend. Innerhalb von einer halben Stunde war man zu Fuß in der Innenstadt von Palma.

Das Frühstück hätte qualitativ besser sein können.

The pool area was lovely, relaxing, a good mix of shade and sun. Staff were all excellent. Great lunch 3 course menu. It was a little far to walk to the centre of Palma in 32 degree heat, but there is a bus which only takes 10 minutes. We could use the pool facilities and gym shower after check out which was excellent. A very classically charming hotel stay

The room and bathroom was a bit dated but clean nonetheless.

Il miglior hotel dove alloggiare. Un oasi di tranquillità nella città di Palma, dotato di piscina, palestra e spa. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Si trova vicino al centro città, raggiungibile tranquillamente con l’autobus, ed è vicino anche alla zona del porto, raggiungibile a piedi.

Це був неймовірний відпочинок. Готель на околиці старого міста, одразу під горою біля замку Бельведер. До центру міста пів години прогулочним кроком. А сам готель - це неймовірно! Він існує з 1958 року! В ідеальному стані. Працівники дуже гостинні, всі прощання гостей задовільняють. Клієнтоорієнтованість на найвищому рівні! Басейн і територія дуже красиві. Ресторан при готелі чудовий, кухня смачна. І готель і ресторан дуже полюбляють місцеві. Кожен день спостерігали за компаніями літніх людей які прийшли відпочити і пообідати. Рекомендую!!!

Travelling as a single female I felt very safe. I didn’t choose Hotel Araxa because there are no children, however I realised that is a bonus in peak season. Everything felt calm & relaxing.

Vi gillade verkligen trädgården och poolområdet. Kändes lyxigt och mysigt på samma gång. Så fin inredning, klassiskt. Välstädade och rymliga rum, med balkong! Skulle definitivt vilja komma tillbaka!

Snålt att inte erbjuda gästerna vattenflaskor varje dag, särskilt när det är 35 grader ute. Frukost kunde också ha ingått med tanke på priset man betalar. Det verkade också som att personalen i restaurangen/baren hade väldigt mycket att göra. De verkade underbemannade, sådant ger aldrig ett gott intryck.

some amenities were not working in my room, but since I stayed only 1 night, the hotel staff kindly offered a free breakfast to compensate the inconveniences.

The food was very good, as well as breakfast I ate in the pool side area every evening. I was travelling alone and my room was a bit small, there were much better rooms with balconies. The best thing about the hotel was the staff who were wonderfully friendly. I was really well looked after by everyone.

The location wasn't near anything. The bus service was good to get into Palma but the stop was 10 minutes walk. For tours they picked up on the Marine Road with the pick up points being a 15 to 25 minute walk away. The walk wasn't long but it was very hot. Taxis were not expensive and very reliable making them an alternative to using the bus service.

L'hôtel était très charmant, la décoration très vintage est sympathique. Ce que j'ai le plus apprécié est le rapport qualité prix pour un mois de juillet/aout c'est très appréciable, la piscine est très correct. La localisation était superbe, nous avions loué une voiture et les places devant l'hôtel était gratuite et nous avons toujours trouvé rapidement de la place.

Pas grand chose

The staff including at the reception and the cleaning staff were very nice. The breakfast is really good and diverse enough to not get overly bored each day. The beds were comfy and the AC worked well.

WiFi signal was atrocious, I found myself using my data roaming most of the time. The noise isolation wasn't that great. The location is good, but not ideal - either for going to a beach or to the city center you'd need to take the bus or your car.

Todo, nos ha gustado absolutamente todo, es un hotel de 1958 pero mantenido a la perfección que mantiene la esencia original.

Nos ha gustado todo, si volvemos a Palma volveremos a este hotel.

Quiet location, good pool and garden. Swimming towels available with deposit. Bus stop at the end of the road to get into the centre.

The bathroom had slight drain smell but the air con was excellent. Not too many restaurants nearby but a very good supermarket.

Quiet property with a stunning outdoor area. Plenty of sunloungers and parasols, with no hassle getting one! Excellent restaurant and bar area with decent prices too. Helpful reception team.

Room cleaning was very much ‘clean around’ rather moving anything EG moved the balcony table and the floor underneath was filthy! Hotel advertises tea and coffee however one sachet per day isn’t really sufficient. Bed was very hard. Location wise, it’s a good 10mins walk from anything at all which gets a bit tedious.

Big size room, good aircon, lovely pool and the breakfast is fantastic. This hotel has all the potential to be a great hotel.

The staff. Pretty much every experience I had with a staff member was negative and it really soured our stay here. They were visibly annoyed at even the most basic requests and actually made me feel embarrassed to ask them for something. If you’re not into customer service, I totally get it. But don’t work in a hotel ?! The lady in the breakfast room was nice.

Struttura molto bella e accogliente con una bella piscina (anche se non ne abbiamo usufruito), ottima posizione e personale gentile e disponibile.

La pulizia della camera purtroppo non è stata all'altezza: nello specifico le lenzuola, le federe dei cuscini e il WC non erano ben puliti. Un vero peccato perché la struttura merita.

A la carta del restaurant continuen anunciant els arrossos. I NO ELS FAN, a no ser que els encarreguis amb 24 hores d'antel.lació...cosa que d'altra banda em sembla un gran error. L'horari de la piscina és just en plé agost.

Το γυμναστήριο ήταν υπέρ του δέοντος εξοπλισμένο! Τελικώς τα δύο μονά κρεβάτια ως επιλογή δίνουν πολύ μεγαλύτερη έκταση κρεβατιού από ένα διπλό! Το πρωινό ήταν αρκετά καλό!

A beautiful hotel in a peaceful setting. Rooms were a good size. Pool was great. Staff so kind and welcoming. The restaurant was a real bonus with lovely food at good prices.

I love all the features of the vintage items. The hotel is so calm and all the staff are lovely. It’s the perfect place to stay, 20 minute walk from a busy Palma but Hotel Araxa is the perfect peaceful place to stay.

Nous avons apprécie la formule "Demi-pension", le soir les repas étaient très bons et variées. Le buffet pour le petit-dejeuner étaient copieux, avec un large choix. L'accès a la piscine est agréable. La bagagerie est pratique.
