The facilities required freshening up. Some of it is outdated and the mattresses are particularly hard. My room door was obviously tampered with previously, but there has been no evidence of maintenance fixing/ repairing the damage - kind of leaves one feeling insecure.

They have done away with room service. Which is fine but did not communicate it at reception when I asked if I needed to pay in advance for toom service. They said speak to the waiters who tried to indicate that they do not do room service. Yet in November last year they did. The menu is gone and the room phone is gone. So just say you can order at the restaurant and take it to your room. Then it's clear and a policy.
