Location to BIC was perfect. The deli attached to the hotel was great for breakfast. Good shower and a comfortable superking sized bed.

Had hardly any tea and no body wash in room. Tried to contact the staff to ask for replacements but no one ever responded to my messages.

Booked here as it had parking and needed somewhere for a meeting the next day. So this was perfect.

This is my first time staying at a hotel where we were given codes to our rooms over text and a phone call. There are no receptionists after certain hours and this probably made my time worse. There were a couple across my room arguing all night on and off, banging on their door, etc. I could not get any sleep. I left a message on here but sadly no response.

The bedroom floor hadn't been hoovered and the bathroom smelt of urine. There was mold around the shower cubicle door frame and damp patches on the window wall where the ceiling is pitched in the corner of the room. All things which could be fixed relatively easily but had been hidden with paint in an attempt to cover them up. The stool legs were wobbly and the stool was too low to see into the mirror to do make up etc...not everyone is tall. A light above the mirror in the bedroom would be helpful. One of the spot lights was hanging out of the ceiling because the clip to hold it in place was missing. The welcome pack said there was an iron and ironing board in the room. This was not the case, so we asked for one from the receptionist, who put one into the cleaning cupboard for us to help ourselves to. When my partner went to iron his shirt, there was no plug on the iron, so he couldnt. On the positive side, there was parking for the duration of our stay and the bed was comfortable enough. We didn't need anything fancy but did expect the room to be of an acceptable standard of repair and cleaned fully before we arrived, regardless of whether we were advised there was a staffing shortage or not. If these issues were addressed we would consider staying again as the location was great.

The beds sheet is not clean and we try to contact the property manager and the phone is not working and we sleep with out bed sheet !!!!

Very poor one-way communication from management. Paid for superior room and got tiny room with no en suite. Staff unable to assist.

Location was perfect. Staff were super helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely dressing gowns to use in room. Parking on site. Free breakfast given to us. Would highly recommend.

La gestione tutta via web è stata un disastro, il form in mail non è mai arrivato nonostante i solleciti e nessuno ha mai risposto al telefono , neanche una volta arrivati sul posto. Meno male che c'era il proprietario (temo per caso) che ha rintracciato la manager che al telefono non rispondeva. Il sistema totalmente senza persone fisiche va rivisto.

Very good location, walkable to the pier and the centre. Had good air con and free parking. Bed comfortable.

Could have made it clearer that our bathroom was a private bathroom located across the hall not in our room. No reception.

It was close to the beach

I booked it including breakfast, there was no breakfast available, costing an average of an extra £40 per day, 3 days. No spoons in both our rooms to make morning coffee! I asked another guest if they had one they kindly gave theirs as no reception on site!

Such a disappointment after seeing it on 4 in a bed. Not sure how you can claim to be a 4 star boutique hotel. IKEA furniture, looks very tired and the bathroom looks like a diy'er has fitted it. Had to keep swapping the batteries from the remote for the TV for the AC remote. No hot water in the evening. Mould in the shower.

As advertised, a simple, clean room with comfy bed and small en suite. Slept well, enough room for two, not noisy, pretty clean. Is linked to the cafe next door - handy for breakfast.

Tiny bit worn around the edges, and might be nice to have water in rooms.

Great location near to the beach and shops/eateries

No staff on site and had to call the hotel on behalf of a spanish couple who were trying to check in. No one was answering their call until I rang. No personal touch compared to previous stays.

Great location, the room was a great size and the bed very comfortable. There was enough parking available.

I didn’t receive the room code until 4pm! No one answered the phone line or texts! I saw several guests having the same issue. The room/stay was advertised booked as B/B but this was not the case.

There was no breakfast despite in the questions section of the booking. Com it clearly states that they’re doing breakfast also I didn’t receive a code or any information what room I’d be staying in and was left wandering round the car park trying to phone someone. When I finally got in there was no WiFi or air conditioning also stated on there ad that there was. When we got in the place smelt of damp and musty the sink hadn’t been cleaned and the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied so it took us a while to find a glass or plates to eat off

Room very hot no ventilation, however as I was staying for business I required an invoice/receipt for HMRC expenses despite 4 polite request emails I received no invoice or even an acknowledgement. Tried ringing the number on 7 occasions with no answer as this is an unstaffed hotel. I found this total unprofessional and rude so if your a business traveller avoid or you will not be able to claim expenses.

Room was comfortable, easy to access and tge aircon was very welcome as it was very warm weather at the time we stayed.

Main two reasons for booking, was that the ad suggested beachfront and had a bath. The hotel is definitely not beachfront and couldn't even see where the beach was due to it being quite some distance away needing to drive there. Room also didn't have a bath which was very disappointing as this was the primary reason we selected the hotel over others, which only offered showers so felt slightly deceived by the ad as could easily have stayed at a nearby Travellodge which had both beach nearby and better facilities at the same cost or less.

It was so local, excellent value for location

There were no reception staff (or any staff in the building that we could find) which would be fine if we didn’t need to speak to anyone. Nobody answered the emergency phone when we tried that. But in all, we were really impressed.

Most things. Shared bathrooms that you couldn’t access (also wasn’t told about the shared bathrooms until after I had booked), there was no shower available, my room number didn’t exist, my access code didn’t work. Photos made it seem like the rooms had private bathrooms and ac - they had neither. Was told there would be a kettle etc, there wasn’t. Overall, not worth staying and overly expensive for what it was. 0/10

Basically I paid you people for breakfast which you advertised no in full well the hotel did not have any staff due to issues not just a chef but cleaners as well as my bedding was dirty!! And you have the cheek to send me a question air form asked me how the breakfast was which you have scammed from me ?? Now in full well The situation Chime I didn't read trip advisor before I booked with you..

Receiving an email telling me there was no cleaners available and also no chef no staff so no breakfast very inconvenient but I hope you enjoyed the money you have taken from me

Room was spacious and tidy,. Air con was great, Thought the welcome chocolates were a nice touch and tea and coffee bits were good too. Bed was comfy and no issues with traffic noise.

Shower was not easily adjustable i had to have it really hot couldnt get it in between.

The property was well located and the room was comfortable.

My code didn’t work, so I needed to contact the out of hours number to obtain access. When booking I had requested a later check in which was refused but as it’s a self check in I don’t understand why. This added a bit of stress to my stay as I had to rush there between my course to try and check in

ARRIVED AFTER CHECK IN TIME, FIRE ALARM GOING FOR THE FIRST 30 MINUTES, ROOM WAS NOT READY UNTIL 3PM, THE DOOR CODE DID NOT WORK. ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES, COMPLETELY DISORGANISED.

The location was brilliant and the bedroom was very comfortable with air con , we had room 11 which has a separate toilet and shower across from the room but that didn't bother us . All in all in was a 10 out of 10 and will be where we stay if we come down again

1)The outside operator who runs the on-site cafe for breakfast is superb. The food was good and the staff (one lady) very good. But she should not be left to sort out guest queries- the hotel staff should be doing that. I understand it happens a lot. 2) When I reported that my TV remote didn't work, they did send someone to change the batteries. 3) Comfortable bed and pillows. 4) Shower works, nice towels and sufficient toiletries and loo roll.

The score given reflects aspects that are not listed in the categories above. 1) I messaged to ask about whether I could book breakfast and initially received a rather blunt message in reply telling me that check-out is at 10.00, and all my belongings must be out of the room by then (the key card will stop working). As the Booking.com site makes clear that check out is 10.30, which was confirmed on a sign in the actual hotel, I replied with a screenshot of the time on the booking and asked again for details of breakfast. I received that, and booked it. I'm glad I did. 2) I was supposed to receive a PIN CODE to access the front door and my room. and neither email nor text arrived. I found a phone number on the side of the porch and it was given to me- no apology, and insisted they had sent it (not true, checked spam etc) but did give me access. Stressful arrival, needless. 3) I was concerned to find that my ground floor sash window bay had no locks on any of the three windows, and led out to a ground floor courtyard which was accessible to the street due to a gate with a broken latch. I moved a large bucket of water and a red traffic cone which was in the courtyard, to behind the gate to make it harder to open from the outside. I also used some woodchips from the garden to try to wedge the windows shut (removed before I left). I informed the hotel via text to the mobile no., at around 7pm on the day- fair play that is a bit late, but as they were coming to do the TV remote batteries, I think that a temporary fix on the gate would not have been beyond them. Anyone could have come into the garden and got into my room, which is totally unacceptable and why the '4' overall'. I felt unsafe. with no staff onsite, and slept badly. There was no reply to my concerns at the time or afterwards. They don't care.

The location was great, quite close to the beach. I loved the room. The stay was way too comfortable than I expected. Was supposed to stay for one night, but ended up staying there for 2 nights 3 days. Overall, experience was so good.

Everything was excellent. The only wish that remained unfulfilled is the catering. I hope they will include cafeteria or restaurant with them.
