We checked in after 8pm pre-arranged. When we walked into the unit tye fans were left on I suppose to get rid of the bad odour of rooms specifically the 2nd bedroom 😥 Beds were moving and not even stable. Blinds in kitchen were broken and we hardly slept as there were noisy people until after 12pm. Will never book this first resort ever.Very disappointing 😞

I can not say enough about the staff. They are so friendly and caring - they really took care of my family. They made sure we always had what we needed. They are all top notch.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Mount Sierra in Gardens, Cape Town. Its central location made it easy to explore the city, including the famous Kloof Street with its bars and restaurants. The secure parking gave us peace of mind, and the heated pool was perfect — even our baby could enjoy a dip! The rooms offered gorgeous views of Table Mountain, and the staff were warm, accommodating, and helpful. The well-equipped kitchen was also a great convenience.

The only small issues were around privacy and comfort: the pool area could benefit from more privacy, perhaps with misting on the lower part of the windows, and the pool room itself felt quite hot — better ventilation would help. The TV channels were limited and it wasn’t always clear what program was on. Finally, a bathtub in the rooms would make bathing a baby easier. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely stay here again!

The location is great and easy to get around to all the key places in Cape Town. The breakfast selection is very limited but the staff, especially Ruth at the restaurant was very accommodating.

The breakfast menu is very limited and can be improved by adding fruit/yoghurt as well as options of sausage instead of bacon and pancakes/French toast.

The staff were wonderful. They couldn't do enough to help. Every request was met and carried out. The view from the apartment was incredible. I loved waking up to it. The facilities were extremely comfortable and spacious. The apartment was serviced very well every day.

Breakfast restrictions a bit petty (cappuccino is R2 more than other coffee so is not included) and morning staff are very noisy in the car park area when waiting to start work.

Excepcional! Apartamento amplo, bem equipado, janelao com linda vista da Table Montain! Saudades de acordar com a vista. Camas Confortáveis. Chuveiro quente. Funcionarios simpaticos e solicitos. Pena que nao tivemos tempo de aproveitar a piscina interna no spa.

Era possivel ouvir do meu quarto a conversa de corredor, mas nada que atrapalhasse o sono.

Super friendly staff (Mr. Bruce especially), quite good breakfast in the cafe downstairs (I’d say bang for a buck), free parking onsite behind the gates, spacious room with a great view (in our case both mountains were there), and lovely restaurants in a walking distance (like 3-5 min) which also totally fine at night. Totally a good pick as a location. The only discomfort was related to the heavy wind for a couple of days that made quite some noise at night, though there is nothing you can with that, it is Capetown... All-in-all good stay and great staff makes it even better.

EL personal es lo mejor del alojmaiento. En nuestro caso, los trabajadores de recepción y el cocinero fueron lo mejor, siempre atentos y dispuesto a ayudarnos con cualquier cosa. Recomendable 100%.

Location is fantastic. The units are spacious. Everything was there that we needed. The pool and spa were a welcome addition. We didn't use the braai space but it looked very cozy. Secure. Friendly staff. Everything we needed . Comfy bed, good selection of pillows

The smell in the reception was a mix of chlorine and... I couldn't really pinpoint. My sister really could not stand the smell. We also had to rejig the sofa so we could watch tv. The actual layout didn't make sense. But these are really just details.

Staff were the highlight of this property. Great location close to restaurants and supermarkets. Great little restaurant with a delicious breakfast made to order.

Very easy, reception let me in through the front gate and gave me keys on checking in.

The aircon units are managed at reception and I struggled with being able to fully control or adjust temperatures as needed. Housekeeping did try to assist to get me a remote for the bedroom but this didn't really solve the problem. It would get too warm or too cold and I couldn't really fix this so ended up switching off. I had to rely on opening the window which opens slightly. I loved everything about my stay from staff, to site\apartment to great location. It is the second time I have stayed here and had frustration with the aircon system. This was my only bit of frustration.

Flat super completo e aconchegante. Cama confortavel e banheiro de otimo tamanho. Bem equipado e com staff atencioso. A localização eh uma das melhores qualidades dessa acomodação pois fica proximo a table mountain e lions head, alem de ter facil acesso a zona turistica do porto (V&A). Numa distancia de 10min de caminhada encontram-se varios restaurantes, cafes e supermercado. Recomendo!!!

Front desk staff was super nice; the property is a bit run down, but definitely acceptable and everything worked. Front desk staff were super nice. Location of property was great and I appreciated the free/secure parking. My only real complaint is that they didn’t have a dispenser for filtered water, so we had to buy bottled water from a gas station.

Perfect hotel in Briacon. Walking distance from both the train station and ski lift. Friendly and helpful staff - help with booking restaurants, ski gear etc and recommendations.

The location is excellent; we were able to walk to most areas we wanted to see. The rooms are comfortable, but the armchairs in our room 103, had a hard wooden rim, which was uncomfortable after a while. Bed comfortable, and the pillows were not the beaten up skinny things we have found in better classes of hotels It had all the facilities for a 5 day self catering stay, we have stayed in the Mt Sierra before,which is why we came back.

Do NOT bother with the cafe. Small menu and there are so many good places for breakfast within a few hundred metres of the hotel

Our room was old, with a strange smell from the carpet. Cleaning of the room also wasn't enough. The pictures of the hotels rooms were perfect, but in reality our room was worse than in the foto.

I like the bedroom not your sitting room and lounge you need to upgrade but it's so clean I don't wanna lie wooow your stuff from the receptionist to cleaning stuff they are friendly and amazing and your pool so it's nice, how can I forgot my beautiful view the table mountain

The staff was exceptional and absolutely welcoming. The Breakfast that Amanda made was really excellent.

Our apartment was not what was not up to standards. The cupboards didn't close properly. There were water leaks in the ceiling of our apartment. The aircon was difficult to use in our room because it was leaking. When we arrived, reception said they were fully booked, and thats why we couldn't complain to change our room.

The location is great. Breakfast was good.
