Ramyas Hotel

It is an old hotel situated at prime location. Staff were very respectful and courteous. I usually prefer this hotel whenever we visit Trichy. Some construction work is going on a bit disturbing during day time

I like the comfort of the rooms Very clean all toiletries were well provided.

All were good No bad points. I compared it with other hotels in trichy, would say Hotel Ramyas is the best one to stay

Considering the location, city and the comfort and cleanliness of the room, either the price should be lower or customers need to get better value for the quite high rates .

Nice setup in hotel. Looks nice. Their breakfast and dinner area management is fantastic. Always ready to offer great service. The food is also excellent.

Staff didn’t know how to use card machine for international cards. They had cards machines available but only one used international card. When my card kept declining they thought I couldn’t pay and became a bit funny. After a debating for over an hour and waiting for them to sort there issues out, they finally found the right card machine which was used. I ask them to now mark that card machine for international card users so the next person doesn’t need to experience that difficulty as I did.

last time I stayed in the same size room with nominal rate but this time same room with very very expensive . no value for money. floor not cleaned properly with previous guest coffee stain in the floors

The last day I had to move out at 4:45 pm so requested late checkout at 4:00 pm I made a request at 8:00 AM They kept postponing to give me an answer saying floor manager is not in, I had to attend the temples and a family event So I left the hotel at 9:00 I came back at 1:30 pm The manager asked me to stay till 4:00PM and he will do the best to give the best price I told him I don’t want to pay the full price of a night stay as I’m staying only for 3-hours Then I came to check out at 4:00 pm They asked me to pay 3000 rupees which was 55% of the room rate; that is 1000 rupees per hour Atrocious They said it was their policy My question was if that was your policy then you should have said that at 8:00 AM itself when I enquired about it Then I would have checked out and moved my bags to my cousins home They reduced the cost to 2500 rupees Which was 1000 rupees per hour that computed to 24,000 rupees per day The room was 5500 rupees per day Atrocious I’ll never stay in the hotel ever in my life Booking.com must remove this hotel from its listing

Complimentary Breakfast was good, decent paid food and room services.

Stayed in a medium-sized room with one king-size bed and an extra bed for 3 adults. The cost was Rs. 14,500 for 2 days including tax, which felt overpriced for what was offered. Not worth the money. Wouldn't recommend it for families planning to stay together in the same room. However, the complimentary breakfast was good, and the food from the restaurant and room service was decent

Staff were not very helpful about local visits.

I really love the cleanliness of the room !! Very comfortable and near to the city ! And food was excellent!! Going to book again next time if i come here

Condition of room deteriorated in last 4 yrs

The staff are excellent especially those in the restaurant area. Breakfast is very good. Didn’t opt for the buffet dinner but chose from the menu. Tasty but took over an hour to arrive. Location is close to the bus station so lots of activity around that area. Auto rickshaw is R150 from the train station.

The restaurant doesn’t open till 7:30 in the evening so dinner is a little late for some. The wifi is a little annoying as you are constantly required to log in and out and they only 2 devices to connect on the one access code.
