We were surprised to learn of this hotel’s historical connection to the planning of D-Day. Very nice older hotel with lots of English character and charm.
Nothing
STAFF IS HELPFUL TO THE NINES. THEY ARE CHEERFUL. THEY LIKE THEIR JOBS.
YOU NEED A KNOWLEDGABLE CONCIERGE!
Lovely notel near Olympia Exhibition centre - very nice staff and a lovely garden backing onto a
Food not great
Mooi sfeervol hotel met geschiedenis. Goed ontbijt, fijne kamer en prettige ontvangst.
niets
The location offered easy access to a bus and train. History of the site was fascinating. Food and beverage offering was great. The room had a refrigerator and microwave.
We had to go down multiple stairs with our luggage to get in our room.
Our room was very well decorated and comfortable, with AC. The hotel is very well located, in a beautiful building next to a bus station and a parc, in a pretty quiet neighbourhood.
Maybe a little effort on cleanliness would be welcome but it’s the only comment I have.
Lovely room, and walk-in shower
Nothing
Beautiful building and history Nice location Quiet Polite staff
Breakfast expensive £12.50 for Full English not Including tea coffee which was extra
Lovely surroundings. Particularly like the old style house with the outside area and the park beside it. The staff were very friendly. The food was great and the place had a lovely relaxed vibe to it. Room and bathroom were a great size. Location was ideal for access to tube and trains with gorgeous restaurant nearby. A quieter area than the heart of London but with quick access to all the main amenities.
Nothing
The room, the staff, very kind, the restaurant and the park
A bit noi su sometimes, but just a bit
Ideal location for our night out.
Staff were great. We had problems with the allocated room on arrival and were moved straight away, no fuss.
Stayed at start of this year and that room looked like it could have been renovated. This time the room looked tired and worn - even the room we moved to looked old, but was a big improvement on the first. Given the cost of the rooms a refurb would be welcome.
God morgenmad.
The rooms skylight didn’t have a working blind/curtain! Floors above the bed creaked ridiculously loudly. Hotel management have been completely absent and made no effort to even communicate with us. I’ve stayed in maybe 40 different hotels in the last couple years at all budgets, and this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had. Do not stay here.
St Paul's Hotel - stay away emailed 4 times and NOT ONE PERSON replied, had a bad fall and needed to move dates
The staff, the location, lovely place, great selection of drinks and a lovely outdoor seating area . We stayed for three nights and everyone was lovely. It was my Son’s birthday and Jackie & all the staff are so lovely - thank you 🤩
The service and the friendliness of staff was excellent.
No
The staff and service were exceptional. Plus the breakfast was great!
Nice hotel in the heart of Hammersmith with excellent staff and great breakfast.
Our room was spacious however it was a little tired and could do with a good makeover especially the bathroom .
Breakfast is great, there is a good a là carte menu to pick from. Coffee is good as well. Also the garden outside is lovely and you can drink and eat there.
The only thing i didn’t like as we were travelling with 2 young daughters is that the 2 rooms assigned to us, were next to each other, as we asked, but they did no communicate to each other. They don’t have adjacent ‘walk in’ rooms. That’s why I’d suggest this type of hotel for a different type of travellers. Anyhow it was a good stay.
Location, staff, comfortable room ,and cleanliness
Nothing
Really lovely hotel, comfortable, clean, wonderful staff and great breakfast. Beautiful building and perfect location
Everything was fantastic
Great location within a short, safe walk to Hammersmith station. Lovely hotel with very clean and high quality rooms. Shower was bliss.
Nothing. Regret not arriving sooner to enjoy a beer and some food at the hotel after work
Posizione dell hotel, bellezza della struttura
Everything! What a gem!
Absolutely nothing.
Location, comfort, staff and outside spaces.
Enjoyed everyrhing about our stay
Very friendly staff, everything met expectations
This is my second time staying. I love this hotel 5 minutes from Hammersmith Station. The staff are great and I really enjoyed after check out spending a couple of hours in the sunshine on the terrace.
Nothing.
Very comfortable and very good value for location
It is in a great location when working in Hammersmith
I specifically requested a quiet room but possibly had the nosiest room in the hotel, next to the very busy road and next to the entrance to the hotels backyard which had a gate that made lots of noise when it opened and closed. Possibly the standard case of 'stick the single guest traveling for work' in the worst room? I did ask to move but received the standard response - 'we are full'. Plus their wi-fi didn't work in my room, probably as it was the further away. This was all a shame as I stayed here once before and it was much better.
The cleanliness , lovely helpful staff , and the beautiful ambience of the building, and the outside areas all in all we had a great experience at the hotel I would certainly recommend it the dinning room is beautiful and the food excellent as was the staff
Absolutely nothing
Nichts
It was a beautiful oasis in the middle of town. So quiet. Perfect stay for us to watch a gig at the Eventim, just 5-10 walk away. It had air con and the room was lovely and cool when we arrived. The staff were so friendly. The room was immaculate and the king size bed was super comfy.
We loved it all.
Great location and very friendly staff!
Everything
The room was big and beautiful.
My double bed had two single mattresses, which I didn’t like. My only complaint, because the room was really beautiful and cozy. The breakfast could be better, it is decent.
Very happy with St Pauls hotel. Great quiet terrace/garden set behind the hotel overlooking a small park. My room at the back was not only very comfortable but lovely and quiet. Will definitely stay again.
All was good and very honest price. A little more choice on the menu would be nice, specially on the healthier or vegetarian options. That put, what I had was delicious and nicely served and speedy without feeling rushed.
Great large room, with modern, spacious well-thought about design and bathroom. very friendly efficient staff, I will definitely make this my number 1 hotel when I come to London (from Brighton)
Fab location and lovely hotel
Nothing
Absolutely beautiful hotel, exceptionally friendly staff. Gorgeous terrace, right next to a pretty park. Understated and luxurious ambience
Great hotel in lovely Hammersmith, very convenient location, short walk to metro and easy access to Heathrow with Piccadilly line. The area has cafes and restautants and doesn’t take too long to get to all the sights by metro. Hotel was clean and loved having AC. We couldn’t hear any noice from outside so slept very well. There’s a lovely Terrace/bar too but we didn’t try it nor did we have breakfast. Some of the staff we met (housekeeping, bar) were very friendly. I would stay here again because of location, comfy beds and AC.
What I didn’t appreciate was the security deposit of £200 as it took nearly a month to get it back and I finally had to contact my bank about it. I had read about it when booking so no surprises there but I still find it very annoying to have to wait so long to know everything’s in order. I realize this may not be the hotel’s fault but it is nevertheless a very annoying for the customer. Like other guests have mentioned in their reviews this would be understandable for big groups or very young people but as a middle-aged couple we’re hardly going to destroy the place and if something were to break we would have no issues compensating. I also found it strange that the hairdrier was attached to the drawer. If you ask the guests to pay a security deposit perhaps you could trust them not to steal the hairdrier. If I were to suggest any other improvements I personally think the staff could make guests feel a bit more welcomed and greet us proactively when going in and out. This was not an issue and everything was always sorted and they were available. They just didn’t seem too keen on chatting with customers (or maybe it was just us). Perhaps I’ve just been very lucky with some of the other reception personnel I’ve encountered on my previous London trips in different hotels where I have been made so welcomed and appreciated as a guest.
I had a great stay at St Paul’s hotel. Staff are amazing. Will definitely stay again.
We had an upgrade to a junior suite which was wonderful. Thank you very much. A very comfortable room, with a view of the park, and good air conditioning. A lovely old building with a lot of character like in the pictures. Carpet a little tired in the entrance, but elsewhere and our room was great. Good quality verses price.
At the top of the stairs in this lovely old house, there was a kind of camp bed and sheets and housekeeping items. This kind of spoilt the prestige of the house. A curtain to hide it would be good. Also, we had dinner at the Melody restaurant. This was disappointing despite good service, the menu was limited and the food very ordinary. Breakfast had lovely options, but again the eggs Benedict sauce was without much taste and the quality of the bun was not great, but the salmon was very good.
Beautiful building, restaurant and pub and a lovely park next to the hotel. 12 minute walk from Hammersmith tube & bus station. The room was smaller than expected as we were essentially in the attic but was comfortable with a velux roof window overlooking the park.
Housekeeping had not left any milk or water. Also for the price we would have expected a fridge. Cost £200 for one night excluding breakfast which was expensive but we needed to be close to our event venue.
PERFECT LOCATION, CENTRAL FOR TRAINS. DECOR BEAUTIFUL, COMFY BED, BREAKFAST LOVELY, STAFF REALLY FRIENDLY. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. HAVING THE PARK & TERRACE TO SIT WAS LOVELY AFTER THE HUSTLE & BUSTLE OF THE CITY
LIFT BROKEN SO STAIRS WEREN'T GREAT FOR MY DISABLED WIFE, THERE ARE EVEN A COUPLEOF SMALL STAIRS TO GET TO THE LIFT SO SOEMTHING TO THINK ABOUT IF DISABLED, ROOM WAS SMALL BUT THIS WAS OK,
Beautiful property! The room was gorgeous, and the exterior was lovely. We visited the bar, and both my partner and I were absolutely dazzled by it all!
The thermostat in the room was incredibly effective, and took me a minute to get right- but every reason to believe that was my fault!
Enjoyed the peaceful terrace and I loved my loft room. Very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly. Really well priced.
Bathroom Toiletries could possibly be improved upon in my opinion, but that is all. A £200 security deposit was taken at check in. It was never charged which is good - but the £200 remained as a pending payment on my credit card for a whole week before it disappeared.
Great location
The whole experience our room was upgraded which was even more welcome
We couldn’t fault anything
Wunderschöne Terrasse, wunderschöne Bar alles wunderschön
Nix zu meckern
Keine Kette! Daher sehr individuell
The whisky bar is a really great USP. The vintage character of the outside and inside are also very nice. We enjoyef talking to the whisky bar manager too.
Three lightbulbs in our room were not working. Also, we were positioned in the annex which was a little conpressed. I have stayed before in the main building and much preferred my room there, which was spacious and elegant.
Nice quite place , worth the money
Lovely interesting property with nicely furnished rooms in an excellent location. Excellent public transport links to the West End and Central London.
There’s no getting round the fact that parking is an expensive issue - expect to pay at least £40++ p/n for anything nearby.
Lovely old English building, many amenities inside the room including tooth brush, coffee, biscuit and bottle of water each day if necessary. Lovely garden just next to park!
Restaurant menu quiet heavy, no much healthy options and pricy but amazing staff!
Hated the room, number 38

large spacious and comfortable room, unusual for a single traveller at the price
Our room was very large with three arm chairs a table and a desk. There was a fridge with complimentary water and the air conditioning was very welcome on a hot day. The staff were friendly and allowed us to store our bag before check in. The bed was a super king, and very comfortable.
Nothing, everything was better than expected.
Very comfortable hotel with a lovely garden terrace for drinks and supper with fountain. Staff are very helpful and go over and beyond. Very relaxed and peaceful.
I liked the location , the architecture , the room , the evening meal in the courtyard was excellent as was the breakfast. The staff were fantastic, helpful, polite and enthusiastic. I really couldn't have asked for better .
That I didn't stay longer .
The sheer history of the place. Amazing! Breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly
Nothing
Clean spacious friendly staff
Nothing to not like
Beautiful and a bit quirky.
Beautifully converted building to a comfy hotel.
Liked everything
The rooms are all very well maintained, have air conditioning and comfy beds with good sheets - room service is a nice touch too. Bathrooms are well appointed and everything is very clean. Breakfast is served in a delightful high ceilinged room with a large chandelier as its centre piece, this is a serene experience. A cold buffet, hot beverages and a great cooked selection to order this makes for a very pleasant start to the day. Top tip its definitely worth paying for the breakfast in advance as this will include a cooked option.
Good location & facilities; v good breakfast

sehr schönes Hotel in Hammersmith, gute Lage, freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer
Wonderful room with a nice view. Staff were very friendly and helped with setting up a nice birthday surprise. Garden bar is also one to recommend.

A little gem
Staff were amazing
What a gem of a find. Wonderful hotel!

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everything was very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, which made getting around easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.👍🔥
Property is perfect in every way
Rooms very spacious and spotless clean
Property is excellent in ever way
The rooms are spacious and spotty clean
Really good facilities, lovely clean and comfortable room, convenient location, very helpful and polite staff, wonderful breakfast
Nothing, we liked everything!
Lovely period building which is an oasis off the high street - very comfortable and great staff

We booked the hotel for a 2 night break whilst we visited Wimbledon Tennis - location is ideal Room was at top of building - with extreme heat the air con was already on making the room a comfortable temperature A lovely quirky styled room - the building has a lovely story connecting it to WW2 D-Day invasion - well worth reading the information in the park which adjoins the hotel - giving a lovely vista to the property A comfy bed giving a good nights sleep The location of the hotel is a 5 min walk from Hammersmith Underground The breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and quality - we always prepay breakfast as a treat so we don't feel inhibited by the pricing The staff we encountered during our stay were very friendly / helpful - from point of arrival to departure We would definitely stay here again
St Paul's Hotel is a good hotel in a convenient location, just a short walk from Hammersmith Station. The rooms are comfortable, and the property is well maintained.
The pillows could be a little more comfortable. But, the only disappointment was the breakfast, which could offer a wider selection considering the standard of the hotel and the price of the breakfast supplement.
Nice traditional building in great location. Very friendly welcome from reception staff.
Some windows haven’t been cleaned on outside and are very grotty - e.g. on the stair landing. This takes away from the overall internal cleanliness.
Superb comfortable facilities. Lovely room. Walk in shower was much needed. Air conditioning coped fine with the hottest day - 35oC outside. Whisky bar is an obvious delight. Excellent coffee shop nearby - Arthur’s.
