ASURE Christchurch Classic Motel & Apartments

We booked the 3 bedroom apartment and it was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Staff were most helpful with things to do and local information.

The living area is very small and cramped considering the size of the overall apartment.

The location was good and the staff were helpful.

Heat pump didn’t work (brrr!) nor did bathroom fan. Wifi signal was poor. Staff did provide space heaters.

the noisy heater

Great location, excellent helpful customer service, comfortable beds, spacious rooms.

TV had lots of channels but wasn't a smart TV or fitted with a chrome cast. Didn't really matter though.

THe floor in the room was sticky - it felt unclean. It was mentioned at check in that the carpet cleaner was due to come but had not turned up. If the room is not up to standard - please dont make it available. It cost us a reasonable amount and I dont expect to feel unclean during my stay.

Comfortable room and spacious bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. Good location with transport.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, Rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped.

That we couldn't stay longer

Room was a good size. Clean and comfortable. Good location and parking

Location, being upgraded!

The showerhead needed a clean, but otherwise fine

Lots of beds

No instructions on how to get the jet bath, hair dryer or fan working

The room had a deep fridge and a normal fridge and House keeping was excellent!

Room was clean, beds were comfy

Would of been been great to have more tv options

Great rooms lots of space

A little bit mouldy in the bathrooms, two cups were dirty witch I get is a honest mistake people always put dirty cups back

Everything

Nothing

No soap in the hand basin

It was convenient

The shower door was hard to get out of shower and there is very little room in shower room

Location and no disturbance

Cleanliness

Location was fine

No plug for bathroom sink Door net curtains ripped and teared Stains on carpet Not value for money

Close to shops

Had problem with tv

The room was very dry and bright. The lady of the reception was really nice and attentive. She patiently told us the interesting places and delicious food in Christchurch, and even carefully marked the routes on the map with a pen. It was truly a wonderful and exciting experience!

Great location and clean and tidy units staff were fantastic

The room was too small wasn’t good value for money.

Great location

Lack of cooling facilities, fans or air conditioning

Everything

Nothing

Impeccably located just 3 km from the Wine & Food Festival at Hagley Park, with Riccarton Mall, bars, and an excellent selection of dining destinations just moments away. Our room was clean and tidy, and in its location we experienced complete

There was absolutely nothing negative about the property; if I were being particular, my only personal preference would be a lock on the bathroom

Wonderful friendly service highly recommend.

Very convenient location. Bed was comfortable. Nice and clean room.

Network/wifi issues. And the heater was abit noisy.

Loved the staff. All were very professional and friendly and welcoming.

Nothing really. Had abit of a Musty smell on arrival.

Staff were awesome

There seemed to be a leak in the bathroom roof. Also could get any of the tvs going

Property was great and a lovely accommodating host. Only issue was traffic noise as we were right on the roadside

Glad we managed to get a last minute booking. Close to malls so a bonus .Reception staff was very helpful and friendly.

It was very close to our son’s university flat.

The location - close to Westfield Riccarton Mall. Staff very informative. Sky Sport, heated blankets (needed)

The sofa was stained and dirty and covered with a blanket which also was not clean so we were not happy to sit on the sofa. The bracket holding the tv and also the hairdryer both had a thick layer of dust. It was very cold, even with the wall heater on. Needed to get into the beds with electric blanket to warm up.

Great communication from the lady at reception. Rang to ask about my arrival time. Had the heater on and the room was nice and warm on arrival.

Lots of space at an affordable price

Some of the lounge area furniture was worn. Holes in the material.

Last minute booking after being let down by another property. So not what we'd planned, but give us a clean bed for the night with kitchen facilities.

On a busy road so some traffic noise.

Nothing

Everything

It was clean & comfortable and good value for money!

Lack of good ventilation in the room and outside noice at night

Central for everything when down for university students. Very clean and tidy. Loved the coffee plunger and capsule machine although no new capsules each day.

Pillow selection.

Helpful staff and let me check in early. Very accommodating

Towels are a little great and tired

Great motel. Great coffee options of usage. Only thing for me was I found the bed too hard.

Extremely friendly staff, beautifully clean with great facilities. We will be back

When we left!

Everything! It was dirty! There was mould on the carpet curtains shower door wouldn’t close bathroom door handle was broken stains on carpet the office was locked when we arrived and we were locked outside in the cold! I rang the hotel with no answer I rang multiple times! Then when she came to the door she pointed to the phone as if to say I should have called! I was so mad!!! All I got was a sorry The bed was very hard! I would have left and demanded a refund but the kids were tired and finding something else would have been hard. The next morning I needed to hand the key in and she was no where to be seen the cleaners had arrived and she wouldn’t answer the door I told the cleaners I had photos and how disgusted I was with the hotel! I will ever come back or recommend this place

The staff were very friendly.

The price was high for the level of quality. It was very outdated and basic. No aircon, only fans

It was dirty. We were put around the back, don’t know weather the other family were living next to us but they were so loud arriving home 1am in the morning. We didn’t feel safe.

Great place to stay. Very handy for all the things I needed to do in that area.

Misleading and inaccurate photos. Poorly maintained 3-bedroom apartment and packed with excessive old furniture.

Always a very warm welcome

Was ok

Great warm friendly welcome at reception

Good location, a decent-sized unit, plenty of offstreet parking and super friendly staff.

The TV reception was poor, but who is even watching TV these days? No biggie.

Clean and comfortable, small room, but quite adequate for our needs. Good staff.
