room floors looked clean until I spilled water and cleaned it up with a tissue and the tissue picked up dirt.

The staff and location were very nice. Loved the access to the water. Very walkable to everything on a good day. Unfortunately there was road construction which made the outdoor space feel confined and challenging to get in and out.

The room itself was a pet friendly room so I didn't expect it to be fancy but it was not clean or well maintained. The toilet kept refilling all night. The baseboards were filthy, dirt in the floor corners. I was happy that the floor was vinyl and not carpet holding all the pet and human dirt. The tub was filthy. The chairs were dirty and stained. Attention to cleaning details would be a huge improvement...

We had a dog and we were given a room on the second floor which meant carrying lots of luggage up stairs. Otherwise it was clean, quiet, central and great restaurant next door.

Hot water did not work even after it was "fixed". bathroom was unclean, missing sealant along base of the tub. Flushing of toilet very slow

Good location. Liked that it had a fridge, microwave, and A/C. Liked that the sink and countertop were seperate from the 2 pc bath (shower & toilet). Beds were comfy.

Could use some renovations and overall tidying up. Old wood on stairs. The bathroom needs renovating - holes in wall where they moved the shower curtain rod, and peeling paint. Some mold on silicone around outside of the tub. Toilet, sink and shower itself all clean. Nice new countertop around sink. Bathroom very very small.

Was not clean, too pricey for quality of service.

The floors were filthy. Our feet were dirty and filthy after walking around for a few minutes without footwear. Beetles and other bugs crawling around on the bathroom floor. No toilet paper in the bathroom and hairs all through the “clean” tub/shower.

We stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Sicamous for one night before departing on our houseboat trip. We have stayed at many Wyndham properties over the years, so our expectations were based on consistently positive experiences. Unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The nightly rate was surprisingly high, especially considering the condition of the property. Throughout our trip we stayed in several hotels that were $100 less per night, yet they were modern, spotless, and far more comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was appreciated, but they simply cannot make up for the state of the hotel itself. The property is extremely run down and in desperate need of renovation. The floors and baseboards were filthy, the bathrooms were outdated, and the curtains, paint, and overall condition of the room gave the impression that cleanliness and maintenance had been neglected for quite some time. For a property carrying the Wyndham name, this hotel falls far below the standard we’ve come to expect. Wyndham should be embarrassed to have this location representing its brand. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would never choose to stay here again.

Person next floor up walked on his or her heels and came right thru ceiling ! Lacks proper soundproofing !

Location and restaurant beside it

The room wasn’t clean except for the beds. The floors were filthy and the bathroom corners have never been cleaned. The TV had limited channels, we could hear our neighbours dog barking for hours and their alarm in the morning. Breakfast was dried bread for toast in the reception area.

Gut and update

The room was terrible. So bad, we turned around and walked out and returned to the front desk. We asked for our money back and we were refused. The room was filthy and never spent the night. We went to another motel.

The motel needs and entire make over. It is dark, dingy, smelly and unacceptable. The hotel never did return our money even though we were in the room only for a few minutes. You would not even want to sit or leave your luggage anywhere in the room.

Location is great, right beside the lake and a nice pub serving good comfort food. Spacious comfortable room with everything you'd need.

We had to leave early, so missed out on breakfast which starts at 7am. All good though, next time I'll make coffee in the room, I just didn't have time that morning.

The room was dirty and the furniture was stained; there were bugs on the very thin sheets that covered a mattress with no mattress protector. So many broken furnishings! So bad that we ate the cost of one night and went elsewhere

Breakfast was not great - limited options and there was no fore warning. Half of my family did not eat

Location was good and beds were ok comfort wise.

Needs renovating and was not clean. Bedsheets were good but the bathroom was clearly not taken care of properly and needs a good clean (so much soap scum it dulled the tub). Floors were damaged as well.

The proximity to restaurant and the water in sicamous is great and unbeatable! It was unfortunate all of Sicamous had a planned power outage from 7am-3pm so everything was closed, but they did give some warning at the motel.

Bathrooms could use a basic update and better cleaning. repaired hole in the bathtub looks a little sketchy. two small pillows, weren't quite sufficient enough. could either use two bigger ones or four of them (per bed)

It wasn’t very clean, very old furniture and the lamps were broken. The breakfast was questionable, and the staff weren’t very personable.

I had already read about the review and we didn't plan to eat breakfast there anyway. But if you are coming with expectations. Please don't. I only booked the room as it was cheaper and the facility allowed pets.

Uncleanliness-toilet in our room had not been flushed or cleaned with stool. Sheets had blood stain on them. Just overall appearance of not being looked after properly like dust everywhere, dirty walls, cans of beer on stairs and in parking lot along with cigarette butts.
