Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Lover the clean rooms, large bathroom and comfortable king bed. I also enjoyed sitting out side in the chairs provided watching the sun set. The woman who checked me in was fantastic!
We unfortunately left some things behind when packing up the car. It would have been nice if someone reached out. When I did call back the man who answered was not friendly or empathetic.

The AC was awesome little noisy but nothing we couldn’t handle and the grounds were clean smoke free and I just love the location. It was just beautiful.

Reviewed May 23, 2026We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Pines Motel. It was a great find in a sea of hotel stays that seems excessively expensive. Our room was exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay. A bonus was a nearby restaurant called the Narrows Smokehouse. Excellent supper meal. If we needed to stay in Sicamous again, we would stay at the Pines Motel.
There were trains that run through this community. It was noticeable, but not a reason to avoid our stay.

Old fashioned real key! Beds just right--not too soft! No issues except lack of ice machine; fridge worked good, though! (I'm gonna carry my own ice trays from now on).

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026The motel is centrally located in the town. Less than a five minute walk up town to the grocery stores and shops. The motel was clean and cute and comfortable. The couple who manages and runs the front desk live on site so they are always there, very friendly, very professional and very helpful. I checked out two days early and was not expecting a refund, was not even going to ask for a refund, and the woman volunteered the refund which I thought was beautiful.
Honestly, my only complaint would be the trucks idling in the parking lot early in the morning. Mind you it is in the middle of the winter, so I do understand. That shouldn’t be an issue in the summer.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The motel was very peaceful and sheltered by the beautiful surrounding trees, and the interior was absolutely immaculate - so squeaky clean that you could see the white plumbing fixtures sparkling in the light! The bedding was of the same immaculate condition, and the mattress was seriously so comfortable that I told my husband we needed to stay another night just to keep sleeping on it - we are already planning to return for the host’s wonderful hospitality, the peaceful surroundings, and that amazing mattress!
