ハネムーンでの利用をお伝えしてたところ、お部屋のアップグレードをしてくれていました。お部屋にはスタッフさんからのメッセージやサプライズがあり、ハネムーン最終日にすごくうれしい体験ができました。 お部屋から見える景色も最高です。

ルッツェルン駅から少し距離があります。 私たちはホテルの下にケーブルカーがあることを知らずに、街をお散歩がてらスーツケースを持ってホテルに向かってしまい、急な坂道がとても大変でした。

Bar fermé plus tôt qu’annoncé, donc inaccessible quand nous avons voulu profiter de la vue. Réaction un peu irritée d’un serveur au restaurant quand nous n’avons pas compris ce qu’il nous disait…

Die Lage: erhöht mit einer unglaublich schönen View über die ganze Bucht von Luzern. Zudem das Ambiente (Grand Hotel mässig). Personal ebenfalls sehr freundlich.

I stayed for 2 nights, and everything was amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless and cleaned to a high standard, and the breakfast was delicious with a great selection. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for the excellent hospitality!

Everything was outstanding. The hotel is decorated with great taste and lives up to its name. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was delightful. We had one with a balcony and a view to kill for over the lake. It was so good that we ordered twice room service so that we could have a private diner with a view in the privacy of our room! Everything is outstanding and you will not be disappointed. If you come by car, just make sure to book a car space. The best hotel we had on this 2 weeks trip across Switzerland...and in our top 2 hotels from all of our trips to this beautiful country.

Very bright and cozy hotel up on the hill (fantastic view if you get a lake side balcony room). Good size room for family with king bed and pullout couch bed for two kids to share. Room service dinner was good (4/5). Pillow menu is fun and helpful. I would stay here again and I have high standards for expensive hotels.

Hotel within walking distance to many community amenities. Rooms are large with relaxing feel. Great view in the rooms.

Really thin thread bare towels

We have stayed in many hotels across the globe, also in this top tier. This is a hotel where all you expect from a luxury hotel comes together, from building, to view, staff and F&B. It is truly one of the best hotel experiences we ever had. The building is from early last century and kept in its original, high quality, style. Art deco can easily become kitsch, but not here. The view over the Vierwaltstättersee (Lake Luzern) is spectacular, especially with our lake-view room. Our room was spacious, with a beautiful bathroom and good bed. Towels were good and blinds kept the room very dark at night. The 'beach bar' was nice and the Scala restaurant with a high quality à la carte menu and good wine list. The Dutch chef finds the right balance between high quality Swiss cuisine and new tastes. Breakfast on the outside terrace overlooking the lake was of outstanding quality. And the staff prepared a nice birthday and wedding anniversary cake for us, such a nice gesture. That brings me to what, besides above, truly makes the difference: the staff. From reception, to restaurant, and everywhere else, staff was so nice, warm and courteous. From young (students of the linked Swiss Hotel School?) to more seasoned. So in summary, this is the perfect Swiss luxury hotel.

The hotel has 4 stars, but it has a 5+++ star experience. It can 'easily' get into the 5 star category by also starting an on-site spa, gym and pool experience. The only day to day things that could be improved are better airconditioning, offering hair conditioner and a tad fluffier and larger towels.

The property was beyond beautiful. And the views were absolutely stunning.

We tried to get in a quick dinner with two young children on a week night but because of an event they were having they couldn’t accommodate us. That was a little frustrating that there was no room for Hotel guests staying on the property. We also called and asked for a bag of ice and were told we could get it ourselves or they would bring it to us for a charge. Didn’t feel like 5-star service for a $5k plus room we paid for. 4-night stay.

The location was great. Fabulous views

The maintenance was poor many things were broken or not available. The hot tub had no water. Two of three bars were closed.

We came last year and enjoyed it so much we returned and hope to come next year as well. We had a view over the lake which is a very big draw in coming here. The staff are super and we had a lovely large room. We had a couple of issues with our jacuzzi being cool which was a bit frustrating as the maintenance team adjusted the temperature down without asking us. Also we couldn't get the retractable blind over our balcony to work.We look forward to seeing the results of the renovation due to take place over the winter when we hopefully return.

Great Views. Great Staff! Definitely recommend! Location close to City center. Transportation by bus was convenient and easy.

Definitely the best choice when staying in Lucerne. Not far from the center, but in a quiet area. Not right on the lake shore, but uphill with splendid views and a very convenient funicular to go to the hotel right from the quay next to the Mandarin Oriental Palace. Relatively reasonable pricing, when remembering that we are talking about Switzerland. Very good restaurant with fabulous views. Excellent, friendly, well-trained staff. Especially I would like to mention Maxim, who was extremely helpful with all our needs and requests. We had a Signature Penthouse Suite with a Jacuzzi on the terrace and it was fantastic - surprisingly large, very clean and modern, very convenient. And the view from the rooftop terrace to die for! Highly recommend this hotel in Lucerne.

We had two rooms - a king room with a jacuzzi on the deck and a king room with a sitting area. Both faced the lake. The view of the lake, the city, and the mountains in the distance is stunning. The bedding is comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are nice with good water pressure. The jacuzzi was great after a long day of hiking. The funicular up from the street was very unique — from the train station, take the #6 bus and get off at “Casino”. Walk a little further up the street and the funicular entrance is on the left (north) side of the street.

This was the most expensive property on our trip to Northern Italy and the Swiss Alps, but it was hands down the best.

THE place to stay in Luzern. A view over the lake, town and mountains you will never forget. A quality restaurant with staff that cannot do enough for you. Great room, with private balcony ideal for having a drink with your loved one(s) before dinner. Generally - very charming and helpful staff. I mean it - really. And the hotel even has its own private railway which leads straight down close to the lakeside - we used it in the morning to take a swim before breakfast. A wonderful, memorable stay.

Outstanding service, location and dining. We have stayed a number of times though not for a number of years but the ethos of the hotel its management and staff is consistently excellent. The rooms are good and thankfully now airconditioned ( temperatures were 34 degrees, unseasonably). The real ultimate attraction is dining in the Scala restaurant where food is of highest standard and views magnificent

Our visit to Luzern was an extension of our Viking Rhine River Getaway trip. We loved out two-night stay at Art Deco Montana Hotel. The location was excellent. The view was amazing.

Beautiful Hotel, Views to die for from the Scala Restaurant Terrace and wonderful food to match. Helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful holiday for 11 days. Hotel on a hill so use the hotel funicular down to the Lake side and the local buses to go down to the harbour for the boats or the train station. Hotel give you a "free bus pass" for the duration of your holiday. Makes life a lot easier getting to places.

The hotel had hits and misses. The location is excellent. The common areas are beautiful and the views are unparalleled. The "renovated rooms" lacked pragmatic features for appropriate use of the space and the upgrades felt more pretentious than helpful or beautiful. The food at the restaurant was good, but the service was not up to par. Their policy of not providing an extra plate should people want to share, was quite petty and we've not heard of any restaurant, from a Michelin star to casual dining, with this policy. Our experience here was in sharp contrast to the extremely friendly and accommodating staff across the street at the Mandarin Oriental restaurant.

Viking sent us here. Great hotel, great view, great food, nice rooms. Was warned rooms would be hot - not true - AC in room worked fine. Lift from hotel to street below was an great experience . World Cup was found on English channel in room.

e had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful Art Deco hotel. Everything was a perfect 10/10! The highlight was definitely the stunning view over Lake Lucerne—waking up to that sight every morning was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out for the pillow menu, which ensured a fantastic night's sleep. We can't wait to come back!

החדר לא קטן אבל כל כך עמוס ולא מאורגן שלא ניתן לזוז בקלות ומסוכן בלילה אם קמים ואין מספיק תאורה. לעומת זאת חדר אמבטיה כולו גימיק: אמבטיה גדולה טופסת מקום גדול משטח חדר האמבטיה. המקלחון עצמו קטן לא בטיחותי. באופן כללי החדר מאוד מיושן ( טלויזיה על עמוד באמצע חדר יחד עם מתקן מקרר מרענן האויר בחדר. אין מקום ליותר ממזודה קטנה וגם היא חוסמת חלקי את המעבר בצד אחד לכיוון המיטה.

The food and beverages in all thier restaurants and bars was outstanding. The staff was also attentive to your desires and special requests. Best bar in Lucerne!! Rooms were thoroughly modern and well appointed in this historic hotel.

Stayed here on an extension of a Viking River cruise on the Rhine. Absolutely loved the place. Front desk was great helping with directions. The cog up to the hotel was definitely different. Just loved everything about the place. Much better than the Viking cruise.

The views from our room were breathtaking! The room was like a little gorgeous apartment with two of the most spectacular balconies. Cutest bathroom with an amazing soaking tub with salts and a rubber duck to keep. Bed was comfy and room was cool and quiet with shades that came down to make it so dark and relaxing.

Last week we returned for the second time to the Art Deco Hotel Montana and were once again surprised by the welcome message. It is incredible how this place manages to retain its same magic and impeccable elegance. The climb with the private funicular, the spectacular panoramic view of Lake Lucerne and the Art Deco atmosphere made us fall in love with this hotel all over again. The breakfast on the terrace was very good. The staff deserves all the praise for the kindness and professionalism they showed. A 10-star hotel, where we will definitely return! The rooms are as comfortable and clean as we remembered them. Thank you for the chocolate!! When a hotel makes you come back and surprises you as pleasantly as the first time, you know you have found a very special place. We will definitely come back a third time!

Loved everything about Lucerne and the Hotel Montana. Our room was spectacular with a view of the Alps that was beyond description. Additionally Lake Lucerne was amazingly a clear blue/green. Enjoyed sipping that crystal clear water at the city fountains.

Its billed as 5 star but the reality does not live up to the images on the website. The rooms are 3 star at best, very tired, no love from a cleaning pov, thin worn out towels - really, nothing special at all and very, very sub par for this level of hotel. Food was also uninspired and shows no love.

Top Lage mit Blick auf den Vierwaldstättersee, die Stadt und die Berge. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Gut erhaltener Art Deco-Stil. Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches und professionelles Personal. Cooler Beach Club (Terrasse), schönes Ambiente in der Bar und auf der Frühstücksterrasse. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Parkplatz vor Ort. Bequeme Standseilbahn in die Stadt runter (direkt aus der Lobby). AC in den Zimmern vorhanden. Ein tolles Gesamtpaket und sehr empfehlenswert. Es war ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Wir kommen wieder!

L’hôtel est très bien placé, surtout avec le service de funiculaire privé. La chambre était spacieuse, de même que la salle de bain, la vue sur le lac superbe. Le personnel est très aimable.

Par rapport à d’autres établissements du même type que j’ai fréquentés, le prix est un peu élevé par rapport à la qualité des équipements et du service; on paie clairement la vue (mais quelle vue 🙌🏽!)

Location was great - close to the bus stop but also within walking distance of the downtown area. The funicular ride to get up to the hotel was a bonus! Buffet breakfast was great with lots of options and choices. Staff were very attentive and helpful. View was spectacular!

Would have liked to have visited the Beach Club, but the weather was not the greatest when we were there.

We have just returned from our dream weekend at the Art Deco Montana hotel in Lucern. I can not praise enouh the staff who made us welcome, was very attentive at breakfast and made our evening very special at the Beach club! The reception arranged tickes for boat and funicular ride, made it easy to present a QR code for the full day. And the weekend weather made the room view a postcard snap to remember. Thank you.

Es hat alles gestimmt: vom sehr freundlichen Empfang, dem tollen Eckzimmer bis zum reichhaltigen und gut organisierten und sorgfältig zubereiteten (Fruchtsalat!)Frühstück! Das tolle Wetter war noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. In diesem Hotel weiß jede Person, was sie zu tun hat. Da kommen wir sehr gerne wieder:)

As a luxury travel advisor, I don’t impress easily—but this stay absolutely delivered. The service was exceptional, with thoughtful attention to detail at every turn. A special mention to Michelle at the front desk, who set the tone with warm, seamless hospitality from the moment we arrived. The location is a standout—an easy stroll to the lake promenade and just as convenient to the Altstadt, which makes exploring Lucerne effortless (and far too tempting). Our room, the view, and breakfast were all outstanding—exactly what you hope for and rarely get across the board. I would happily stay here again and will absolutely be recommending this hotel to clients looking for a polished, well-located base in beautiful Lucerne.

From the warm welcome upon arrival to the moment of departure, it was a truly memorable experience: the courtesy of the reception, the first-class restaurant, and the marvelous view of the lake from the balcony of my room. The atmosphere of yesteryear in the Louis Bar, accompanied by relaxing music, is a special memory. The only area for improvement I can suggest is the size of the bathroom, which, while well-appointed, was small compared to the sumptuous room and deserves a redesign. An experience to be repeated

Overall good experience, very much appreciated the music the atmosphere and the kindness at the Louis bar. The view from the balcony was exceptional.

Once again, Switzerland was very expensive but we'd go back there in a flash. Lucerne is a beautiful city. Many scenic attractions and small enough to get around on foot, if you're fit! Again, this hotel was recommended for us by family, as was Zurich. Very nice rooms and facilities but once again, the rooms and bathrooms are quite small compared to Australian standards. The most beautiful location overlooking the lake with an excellent covered outdoor restaurant during the day. A bespoke bar for pre dinner drinks and very chic. Could easily be used for a film set. Restaurant? Not bad but A$600 for 2 people and the waitress expected a tip! She simply wasn't worth it, sorry. This is pretty high-end accommodation but, what the heck. Were on holidays and Lucerne was simply magical.

This was one of my favorite hotel stays I have ever experienced. We had a corner room with two balconies overlooking lake Lucerne. The bed was fabulous, the noise level nonexistent, and the room was perfectly clean and well furnished. Breakfast at the hotel was a delight and the cable car ride to the Lakeside from the hotel lobby is just so cool.

It was pretty warm in Lucerne and not having the AC’s running in April was a little odd. They did give us a fan for the stay (on our request) so that was good! Just maybe something for the hotel to keep in mind!

This hotel has spectacular views and excellent service. The funicular down from the view hotel brings you right down to the lake and restaurants.

We loved our room, the views, the modern decor, yet vintage feel, the funicular and the staff. We had such a memorable stay and plan to go back.

Everything, the staff, the architecture, the service and most of all the views! We didn't want to leave but had other plans. The room was big enough, very well-decorated and quiet. We loved the funicular access to the lakeside promenade.

Desde el momento en que llegamos, el servicio fue impecable: todo el equipo es sumamente amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. El hotel tiene un encanto único, con un estilo Art Deco muy bien cuidado que lo hace sentir elegante y acogedor al mismo tiempo. Pero sin duda, lo mejor de todo son las vistas… absolutamente impresionantes. Despertar con esa vista al lago y a las montañas es una experiencia que no se olvida. La habitación estaba muy cómoda, limpia y con todos los detalles bien pensados. Además, la ubicación es muy buena, lo suficientemente cerca del centro pero con la tranquilidad perfecta para descansar. En general, fue una experiencia increíble y sin duda volveríamos. Un lugar perfecto para disfrutar Lucerna de una forma especial.
