Terrific large apartment with all the facilities needed for an extended stay. Close to everything in Lucerne including supermarket, train station etc.

Only one toilet upstairs was a bit weird and there were some issues with the plumbing.

Die Toilette hat hat bei Anreise nicht funktioniert und wir wurden sehr kurzfristig darüber informiert. Glücklicherweise konnte diese im Verlaufe des Abends, wir gingen auswärts, geflickt werden. Im ersten Moment war es sehr ungemütlich, da wir eine Toilette gebraucht hätten. Ich hätte eine frühere Info erwartet. Zum Glück hatten wir zwei Wohnungen gebucht und konnten die Toilette unserer Freunde nutzen.

Spacious and clean apartment with well equipped kitchen, and within walking distance to sights and attractions. The washing machine and dryer are not in the apartment, but located in communal area in the building and free of charge.

The weak water pressure in the bathroom.

This apartment was absolutely amazing—far beyond my expectations! It honestly doesn’t get the credit it deserves in the description. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and everything is of very high quality. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. I highly, highly recommend this place!

Perfect location in Lucerne and close proximity train station and old town. Very clean and quiet location with a lot of room. Was only my wife and I and we had more space than needed. Also was close to grocery store where we could made a dinner one night in apartment. Highly recommend!

The apartment is in a great location. It was clean, comfortable and suited the needs of our family of five adults. Towels were changed and beds made daily which was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this apartment. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

The location provided good access to the city.

The daily service charge was a shock at 420chf for three days.. If you're booking check the price carefully as it doesn't quote the full price on booking.com when booking. There is no service you actually need and I requested that they provide no additional services, such as a daily room clean, or non existent concierge service, as we didn't need them, however they have an ai butler giving ai responses, which felt like a scam as we couldn't speak with anyone. I felt ripped off.

Location was absolutely incredible - maybe 10 minutes from the train station. There was so much space in the living room and kitchen.

There is a lot of natural light which for the most part is good but can be difficult to remain asleep in the morning once the sun rises. The toilet being on the top floor and shower on the bottom is unique

Loved the location and space. The apartment was very clean and mostly comfortable.

It was -2C outside, yet the apartment was hot. The heaters didn't appear to be on as they were not hot, but the apartment was hot. We opened the back door and left it open all night while it snowed and it cooled off the apartment. Problem solved!

Different name of apartment sign (Smart Apartments) not Top City Apartments made it difficult to find. Self checkin was tedious and frustrating. Worst problem was having one toilet upstairs and no toilet in downstairs bathroom. Poorly designed lay out. Furniture uncomfortable. James Butler AI as opposed to real person that we could talk to is impersonal and plain weird. We received the help we needed from the maids.

Great location in a historical building. Walkable to grocery and the lake/river tourist area. The building common area is a bit dated but look interesting if you like historical building. The apartment is spacious and modern. Big fully equipped kitchen, full size fridge. Nice Tereace. The bedroom with a bathroom are on the ground floor. there is an AC in the bedroom but not cool enough, only works like a fan. The AC upstairs is better but not enough to cover the living/dining/extra bed area. The kitchen where the AC is located is the most comfortable area. The Wifi is weak. It only works smoothly for the first 6-7 hours we checked in. Someone checked and tried to fix for us but it still didn’t work properly for the rest of our stay. The shower water pressure is a bit low. Overall, this is a great and comfortable place to stay at.

The apartment was super clean and had a great loft vibe! Loved the location, wished I stayed longer. Abundant supply of towels and tea/coffee, enjoyed the high quality of both. James was extremely responsive, instructions were clear during check in and out.

The apartment was super clean and cute. The location was amazing! Right in the center of Lucerne and close to everything. We walked from the train station to the apartment with our luggage and it was very easy.

The only down side of this place was the fact that there was only one toilet which made things a bit tricky for a family of 5 people. Other than that it was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

The dishwasher could be improved as the top drawer falls out. It would be useful to have a basket or other container on the shower rail or wall to put bottles of products down - there is nowhere obvious for these items other than on the floor which isn’t great

This place is fantastic. It is a large apartment that is well suited to couples or a family. Well located but quiet inside. Check in experience was very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent. It was beyond our expectations having chosen the largest apartments for 2pax. Thank you very much for letting us know where the washer and dryers were, James. Would recommend to those who may cook or a quite evening "home". Also there's the free bus tourist shuttle if needed.

Central location within easy walk to most attractions, cafes. restaurants. Clean. Lift access. Very roomy, can accomodate 6. Very responsive host. Air condition available (2), would definitely need in warm weather as room is on top floor.

Checkin process including id upload and face scan must be highlighted in policies and be easily visible before booking. Everything is managed well but people need to know this process upfront.

Apartment was spacious and kitchen facilities were great for cooking. TV to connect prime YouTube and Netflix was definitely the factor for this stay, kept us entertained for the night

Great location and really well equipped. Nice view of an Alp from the window. It was great that I saved myself a few Francs by buying cans of beer from the supermarket and watching the rugby on IPTV (they also have BBC and other British channels.

Although it was a bit pricier than other apartments we've stayed at in other countries, compared to the price of everything else in Switzerland it was actually good value.

It’s spacious, clean and well equipped. Host is very friendly and responsive ; self check in makes it convenient. Property is located right beside the bus stop to Lucerne train station. Property is a 10-15min walk to chapel bridge / train station. Supermarket (migros) around 5-10 min walk away.

The bathroom situation. There are two partial bathrooms, but only one toilet which is upstairs. A tub that is in also in an upstairs bedroom which is odd. There is a decent size bath downstairs that just has a sink and a shower and there is room where you could put a toilet. It would really make the apartment much more functional. We only had two people but it can easily fit 6 and the one toilet only upstairs is inconvenient. Also, the balcony was one of the reasons we picked this place but we didn’t use it as it’s interior to the building and the only view is looking into other apartments.

The A/C is only downstairs, tucked into a corner. The dining room and kitchen stay cool, but the rest of the downstairs is quite warm, especially at night. The upstairs got very hot. It was impossible to sleep up there , even though that is where the only toilet is located Perhaps a fan would help

Location is great. less than 10 mins to the main train station and a bus stop just steps away. Apartment is large with daily cleaning service. It is also nice to have air-con in summer days.

It is a little bit strange that the toilet is on the upper floor and shower on the lower. But maybe it is just a Swiss thing.

I have stayed on many top hotels in Europe but for sure thus place has higher quality and facilities compare to many 5 stars hotels. The quality of responses was amazing and they have tried to do anything possible to make our stay warm and relax

Good last minute find, needs some minor improvements to make it worth the price they charge. At this price point I consciously chose this apartment due to reviews, location, and fitting the need for our family. Pros: Very responsive and helpful concierge James. He was great at communicating before we arrived and during the whole stay. He was super quick to communicate via email and addressed all issues quickly. Never met him in person nor had a cell phone #, but the email response time was quick. Location, location, location! This apt was so conveniently located close to the train station (10 min walk), Kapellbrucke, St Leodegar, restaurants, COOP (their grocery) and bakeries. This apt was STOCKED with everything you could need- all the dishes, silverware, cooking utensils for many meals (and then some!). SO it helped that you could just load the dishwasher and run it at the end of the day since you had so many plates and silverware. Conveniently had a dishwasher (that the cleaning service emptied after we ran it and left). Also stocked with towels, linens (even for a small child), with extras if needed. Toaster, Nespresso maker, umbrellas for rain. Even with chargers/adaptors. Huge fridge and freezer for stuff Stocked with coffee everyday- that helped a lot They clean the apt daily when you’re out Keyless entry was HUGE- so you don’t have to fumble for keys Despite the central location, it’s actually super quiet. Windows are solid and block out noise. You are in a residential building, so is is imperative that you are QUIET during quiet hours- we were so jetlagged the first night and our schedules were off, so we had to make conscious efforts to try and keep the kids quiet.

Cons: Apt layout is awkward. Two bathrooms is misleading- One bathroom is on the first floor and only has a shower and sink (no toilet). Shower head is one of those small detachable ones so not as great to take a shower with. No place to put shampoos and soaps, so they sit on the shower floor. Lacks hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and stuff. Would be great to have more shelving or a table in there to put stuff. 2nd bathroom is on the 2nd floor and only has toliet and sink (no shower). Tub is in the bathroom upstairs (?) and was actually broken and unassembled when we were there so we couldn’t use it. They offered a bottle of wine for inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have that option. Windows open WIDE only and have no screen or safety, so if you have kids, you must keep them closed or they could fall (and it’s on the 5th floor!) Beds were comfy, but one bed is in the living room (which echoes as it is high ceilings) so you really can’t have those sleeping there get any rest if the other people are up and using the kitchen. Same with the bed in the loft on the second floor. You can hear everything. But it was advertised as one bedroom, so I knew that coming in. Probably would help to have just the two beds in the bedroom, Could have used a kitchen runner or something as the floor frequently got damp with cooking/dishes. Apt didn’t feel cozy due to the lack of rugs or runner- had a lot of open empty space. Fan/air in the bedroom has a loud intermittent buzzing (sounds like someone trying to buzz in the apt- I actually thought that was what it was)- so I ended up turning it off. Front door to the building was actually broken and always unlocked- seemed like a safe area, but anyone could have walked up and come in the building Washer/dryer was on 1st floor- was free (and they had pods in the apt) so that was great, but would have been nice in the apt!

The stay was great, ylu are goven a code to the building and to your specific apartment so check in is easy and quick. The apartment comes stocked with drinks and snacks you can purchase if needed. The big windows in the living space give you a heeatview of two bell towers, and their chimes can be heard throughout the day. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked with many towels, shampoos, soaps, and even a toothbrush. Would highly recommend!

1. Major inaccuracy: - While the website listed that the apartment has 2 bathrooms. Reality is, there's a single bathroom on the second floor as the one on the first floor has a shower only. This was inconvenient as we were a group of six 2. Minor points: - Maximum occupancy is 6. There are 3 comfortable double beds, but one is directly under the roof with a window which had no blinds "FYI for those who can't sleep in the light". - Cleaning fee "per person per night" got added to our total although we have not requested it/ it's an optional add on. The team did remove that extra charge upon our request. Just as an FYI for those who are not planning to add the cleaning service to check their total.

Excellent location within the city and very clean

A bar with outside seating is right below your patio window. Kept us up til it closed from the noise. Problem was that the AC required the patio doors to be open and because it was hot, we decided AC was more important than the noise.

The location of the apartment is perfect , close to everything. The apartment is so roomy and clean . James is so nice that he will respond to your email or text promptly. Highly recommended this place for those who are looking for a stay in Luzern.

This is NOT a hotel. It's an apartment with ONE bedroom. One room with a shower and a different room with a toilet. Beds have been placed in the living room and office space. If you want your bed made, towels changed, or ANY other service, they charge you. Fees for everything. That said, access is easy and the location is excellent.
