Everything, the staff go above and beyond to make your stay. The decor is outstanding. It’s truly a magical hotel.
Очень понравился отель! Высокий уровень сервиса. И очень вкусный мишленовский ресторан. Останавливались в люксе с джакузи на террасе. Всем довольны. Обязательно вернемся!

Suurepärane hommikusöök, väga sõbralik ja kiire teenindus
One of the most memorable hotel stays in my travel experiences over the last 50 years, excellent staff and facility!!
The views from the hotel were stunning, but the service was just ok and the room was tiny, the bathroom was deplorable and the closet was an old cabinet which was minuscule. Shame on the owners for charging such extravagant rates! I will not be back.
Antonio at the front desk was extremely helpful and professional! I found the level of client service to be exceptional across the resort.

Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team for making our stay and events truly unforgettable. The hospitality extended to both us and our guests was impeccable from beginning to end. A special thank you to Antonio, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care made everyone feel welcomed, comfortable, and exceptionally well looked after throughout our stay. Emanuela, thank you for always making us feel like family. From the moment we arrived, your warmth and personal touch made it feel as though we had known each other forever. We are especially grateful for all your efforts in coordinating our events, from the informal dinner to the welcome dinner for our guests. Every detail was perfectly executed, and your dedication ensured everything ran seamlessly. Everything exceeded our expectations and honestly could not have been better. Our guests continue to talk about how welcomed and cared for they felt. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience—we look forward to returning again soon.
I genuinely do not understand the hype around this hotel. We booked two rooms for a weekend stay and left feeling incredibly disappointed. The rooms themselves were small, underwhelming, and nowhere near as luxurious as the price tag would suggest. The Queen Mountainside Room was so small it literally just fit a bed, and it’s design resembled a hostel. We had to switch rooms for one night because it was entirely inaccessible. Unless you’re paying for one of the top-tier suites, I found the accommodations underwhelming, outdated, and ordinary for a hotel charging over €1,300 per night. The photos online primarily showcase the suites, which did not accurately reflect the experience of our room categories. What pushed the experience from disappointing to unacceptable was the complete lack of transparency and communication. During our stay, the hotel’s signature beach club was closed on Saturday to guests for a private influencer brand event. This was a key selling point in choosing this hotel when we were booking our stay. The main Michelin restaurant was also closed Friday evening due to a private influencer event. We were never notified before arrival of these closures. The most frustrating part was the attitude from ownership when we brought this to her attention. Antonio, the front office manager, was completely understanding and acknowledged that the situation appeared to be a communication oversight. However, rather than acknowledging that failing to disclose major amenity closures before arrival was a mistake, ownership seemed more interested in defending the hotel’s position, saying I was notified of the beach closure, questioning why the restaurant closure was an issue, and explaining why the compensation offered was sufficient. The hotel comped a small lunch for two people and converted a $100 spa credit we received through Virtuoso into a resort credit. While the gesture was appreciated, it was simply not proportionate to the impact on our stay, and given the conversation with Antonio, I had expected something more substantial. I am also six months pregnant, and the hotel did not have any prenatal massage options available, making the original spa credit of limited value to begin with. I specifically attempted to speak with the hotel’s manager/owner about the issue of the closed amenities and the overall disruption of the influencer/ brand trip and was told she was not on property either day I was there. This was particularly confusing, as I had been told she was not on property during my stay, yet she was certain I had been notified of the closures. Regardless, no one communicated these closures to me before arrival, and even if they had done so at check-in, that would not have been sufficient. I had attempted to go to the beach club on Saturday morning and asked for a shuttle, only to be shocked and incredibly disappointed when I was informed I was not allowed to go. Had we been informed in advance, we would have had the opportunity to plan our time differently, perhaps visiting on Friday or choosing another property altogether. Given the circumstances, I believe a partial room rate adjustment would have been the appropriate resolution. To make matters worse, the service at the pool was surprisingly poor and incredibly slow. We were even charged for the complimentary paper carton waters provided by the hotel, despite specifically asking for the regular glass bottle. At a property positioning itself as ultra-luxury, I would have expected better service and attention to detail. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury experience, the guest experience felt secondary to accommodating private events. The message was clear: the influencer brand trip mattered more than the paying guests who had booked the hotel months in advance. It’s clear they prioritized the brand, as they could clearly use the money to invest in a decent renovation for the rooms and property. The views are beautiful, but it’s the Amalfi Coast. Beautiful views exist at many hotels in the area. What separates truly exceptional luxury hotels is transparency, service, and how they treat their guests when things go wrong. Unfortunately, Palazzo Avino fell well short of that standard. I would not return, and next time I would choose Caruso or another luxury property that places greater value on guest experience and transparency.
Exceptional property with even better staff/service. Was our first time to the Almalfi Coast, and didn't know what to expect - however this experience would have surpassed anything. 3 night stay in early May. Hotel, interior design, views and grounds are amazing and immaculately maintained - they could film a season of White Lotus here easily. Our Deluxe room was a little small - but the furnishings, view and experience canceled out any problem there. Meals were 5 star every time, and without exception every staff member were the nicest, welcoming professionals we encountered on our 10 day trip across Italy. Could go on and on - but for those that research reviews to determine where they will stay...we would not hesitate to recommend with highest remarks.
We stayed here during our first visit to Ravello. We arrived here by taxi. Ravello is a typical hilltop town, so the roads here are narrow and winding. The appearance and the façade of the hotel is very pretty. The pink colour makes it stand out and in a tasteful fashion. The lobby is open and is elegantly appointed. Our arrival was as smooth as can be. Antonio Ferrara, who helped us throughout our stay was friendly, attentive and most courteous. Antonio never made us feel like we were but paying customers. He really did go out of his way and we really appreciated it. The outdoor plunge pool was fantastic as was the sitting area beside it. We didn’t have the opportunity to visit the indoor pool and spa. The rooms are tastefully appointed and show a lot of character. We always had small welcome treats, a bottle of their local wine (the hotel’s itself, showcasing the strong local ties) and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. The passageways, the restaurants and the décor were all brilliant. The character and the culture was definitely on display. The people responsible for the design definitely deserve considerable credit as the details are evident everywhere. Breakfast is delicious at the Rossellini’s. We didn’t have the opportunity to have dinner here but the menu looked amazing. This is a Michelin starred restaurant. We did dine at the terrace and the bartender was exceptionally skilled. There’s a private clubhouse by the sea around 10 minutes away by shuttle. I have to confess, we didn’t have anywhere near as much time to explore this hotel as we would’ve liked as we were busy exploring Ravello, and the town centre is a five minute walk from the hotel, as is the Villa Rufolo. However, both hubby and I have made up our minds to return and spend a good few days at this establishment and in this town. It has the makings of a perfect getaway. Lastly, we would also like to thank the effervescent Claudia along with Antonio for making our stay memorable. Grazie mille!
The hotel was amazing, it exceeded all my expectations..The service, the comfort, the food, the hospitality, it was simply fantastic, everything was simply beautiful, sophisticated, and wonderful. Every time we left our room, it was cleaned and we received little gifts, every time of the day, I loved every moment of it, and most of all, everything was pink.
The level of service was outstanding. Antonio from the reception was especially wonderful - I cannot imagine better customer service, going out of his way to enable whatever the customer needs and finding a perfect solution. Thank you for everything!

It wasn't like that!
Very nice design, good location,, beautiful views. Small treats in the room, What we also appreciated was a quality breakfast, and not just cheap variety that looks good but is tasteless. Recently, many expensive hotels try to do this. So it was perfect that the breakfast was delicious.
The staff wasn’t providing all the options about activities. We wanted to do path of Gods, and the staff offered us a taxi one way over 250 euro. They should have mentioned that there are other options like buses or local taxi, which are way cheaper. This wasn’t nice. No kettle in a room, just a coffee machine. The spa is also quite small
We have been coming here for many years, we love it and would never go anywhere else. Location is superb of course but the main strength of the hotel is the staff. Everyone, from the front desk, through housekeeping, restaurant, pool, spa - superb. My favourite spot is the roof, nice place to relax xx
Me encantó
Nada
Amazing design, the view, the food! Best service I’ve ever had
Nothing
Amazing property, fabulous location
We had a wonderful stay at Pallazzo Avino...the rooms are beautiful and the views are breathtaking!
Ravello is a charming quiet town away from the typical more tourist heavy destinations in Amalfi. Rossalini’s, their on site Michelin restaurant, was fantastic.
Antonio was absolutely incredible. Made our trip and activities seamless.
We had lowest category room which offers very good value access to this beautiful hotel. Brilliant service and grounds stand out. Only problem is I prefer the (much more expensive) neighbour
Amazing unique hotel , friendly and professional stuff
Nothing everything was excellent
Excellents views, service, breakfast ! We loved our stay in Ravello - the magical place , especially when there are no day tourists : early morning and later afternoon - evenings. But inside the hotel guests enter a magical world where the time stops and both the body and soul can truly relax.
We felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff took really good care of everything. The hotel provided a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. Not the nicest of rooms we’ve stayed at but that was more to do with our budget rather than the hotel. If you can afford to then you should definitely book a room with a sea view, however if you can’t you still get to enjoy the luxury of the rest of the hotel. An AMAZING hotel and no surprise at all that it’s been given 5 stars
We just recently stayed at Palazzo Avino for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed Ravello and this wonderful hotel. The whole time we were there it felt like we were in someone's home instead of a hotel. We particularly want to thank Front Desk Manager and Concierge, Mr. Antonio Ferrara, for his assistance before we arrived and his kindness while we were in the hotel. He and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. Hotel highlights: The outside Martini Bar (it's a wow), the Beach Club, the location in central Ravello within easy walking distance of everything, dinner at Rosellini's and the outdoor fitness area. Amazing hotel - beautiful, welcoming and comfortable.
Increíble las vistas, el hotel, el servicio. Sobre todo la amabilidad del personas. Tuvimos un lío gordo, y hubo mucha implicacion de todo el personal y nos ayudaron hasta el final.

A beautiful, 'old world' hotel with stunning views. Rooms are luxurious, very clean and the staff are always helpful and friendly. There is greenery everywhere, plants and trees and grass. And the restaurant also has breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea.
The best hotel I have ever stayed in!! The staff, the view, the room, the food, all fantastic!!! We will definitely return
Hotel is the best. Beach quite. Who wants to calm can go
There is no seaside. You have to jumping in the sea. Or there are steps. It was bad for me because I’m afraid of dip water.
Un lugar precioso con un personal excepcional
Beautiful setting with spectacular views. Gorgeous rooms and phenomenal restaurants. Their beach club by the sea (shuttle brings you down) was magical. Staff and food were wonderful and always smiling. The concierge, Antonio, was attentive and thoughtful with his wise recommendations prior and during our trip. Best concierge we have ever experienced. Quaint and lovely town with great restaurants and shops. Quiet and not overrun with tourists and traffic. Ravello seems like a secret gem hidden on Amalfi Coast. The one and only small negative is the 15 minute drive down long windy roads to get to the main road along the coast. We thought it was worth it to be in a cozy, authentic town not over crowded with tourists and cars. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to be back with our daughters in the future.
The hotel is nestled away and a bit hidden but well worth the effort. It’s beautifully decorated but the views and food and beverage experience is the star of the show. Don’t miss the wonderful sunsets with some of their cocktails and live music.
Fantastic setting, incredible staff. And amazing food. This is a perfect hotel! The open air gym with the view is quite an awesome. The food at the restaurants are great and the staff so friendly. This is a place We will definitely return too!
Beautiful
Small room
30 minutes waiting at the bar without being acknowledged. Pretty ridiculous considering they’re charging 28 euro a drink. Pretty rude staff. A little condescending. The decor looks like something g out of the 60’s. Skip this place and go to the piazza.
This hotel is exceptional! The food, the views, the staff, and the details of the property were incredible. The pool and lounge area felt quiet and relaxing. The staff waits on you hand and foot. The Michelin star restaurant on the property was delicious, and they make it a whole experience. The location is ideal because you are walking distance to the town square. Ravello in general is a hidden gem, not too touristy, which I loved, and not too crowded. I loved every minute of it!
We booked the most basic room since the property is quite expensive. The room was nothing special but the bed was very comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom had everything you would need. The directions to the hotel are confusing if you are driving. Just call the front desk and they will help.
Incredible stay - what a place! Views incredible, food superb & staff very very helpful and a pleasure to chat with. Food was outstanding and the pool vibe was perfect! Concierge' Antonio, Claudia and the rest of the team were outstanding and lovely people with great recommendations. Thank you Carmelina for not only being so lovely to us at the pool but also for the Italiano tips! Couldn't have asked for a better experience here. Will definitely be back! Grazie & Ciao, Jayme & Chris
The hotel is beautiful, amazing views and an incredible staff!! If you want to relax and enjoy your time in Ravello, this is the place to stay! My wife and I took our 15yr old daughter and we all had the best time, it was our favorite place we stayed. There was plenty for all of us to do and a great place to relax! We will be back!!
Everything was perfect. Staff were exceptional and facilities were great
The uniqueness of the palazzo
Some other guests were a bit annoying being lots and drinking by the pool.
Disappointing
Disappointing. The reception discriminates customers of how long day stay. Also has the audacity to mention that mountain view doesnt mean full view of mountains, and if you have a glimpse of it its done even though I payed 1200dollars for 1night with mountain view room, which had the view of the wall building in front. I decided to go to Palazzo Avino because of the nice reviews and appealing pink theme. Before, I stayed in Miramalfi and I regret I budged my schedule in the middle to come to this place for nothing but disappointment. First, I booked ‘Mountain View’ room, reason is because as mentioned I stayed in Miramalfi that has beautiful upfront sea views and I love Italy mountain views so I decided to make a twist. However they first gave me room 318 which when you look at both the windows the view is blocked from the building in front. When I entered the room it was prepared for another person with handwriting welcome letter prepared, they reception said it was the room that was ready since we arrived early. I requested for a room change, it wasnt partial mountain view that I booked for around 1200 dollars. What the reception replied was “JUST BECAUSE YOU BOOKED MOUNTAIN VIEW DOESNT MEAB YOU GET THE WHOLE VIEW OF THE “. I was flabbergasted and annoyed as hell. I jumped in and said that the room was already prepared for somebody else, it’s okay if we have to wait but I want a room at least that is blocked with the building infront. i mean the only room that is blocked view with a building. The view was “a wall”. Are you kidding me? Also the room phone did not work so we had to go up and down to the front to talk to you every single time. the recpetion said they will check again and change our room. They changed our room and we noticed the hair dryers are different, room 318 has a normal hair dryer while the changed room has a dyson. The slippers of room 318 are just normal colored ones as the room they changed has their hotel signature pink striped slippers.
This has to be one of the prettiest hotels I have ever stayed at, the attention to detail everywhere is world class. I stayed in the Aquamarine Deluxe Sea view room which I would highly recommend - it's a slightly more modern feel than the other rooms with an art deco vibe and the view was breath taking. The beds are proper super kings - not twin beds pushed together which I hate! The food is excellent, definitely worth trying both restaurants if you have time. I can't fault any of it - it's timeless elegance and service at it's best.
great facilities restaurant and the view the pool
compared to other 5 star hotels with similar rates some staff are attentive some were not
A grande dame high in Ravello. The location is great (get a driver) as are the views. It is adjacent to the Belmond Caruso. Ravello is much quieter than Amalfi or Positano and this is a very relaxing stay. They also have a great beach club on the shore with a restaurant and several levels of loungers (one level by a pool).. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to and from the club (15-20 minutes depending on traffic). The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The restaurants are excellent.
location, view, staff. breakfast
room size & structure
This hotel is amazing. We had a small suite facing the ocean, with a balcony that looked down on the first terrace, the second terrace, and the pool. The views were incredible, and the hotel grounds we looked down upon were enchanting and in perfect condition. In the late afternoon there would be a pianist playing on the first terrace and we would open our windows and listen to the lovely music as we prepared for dinner. I have never been as charmed by a hotel as I was at Avino while listening to the piano music and seeing the beautiful grounds in the foreground and the sea in the background. There is also a small waterfall that added to the charming ambiance of our open-window experience. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and functional, with a wonderful bed and lovely bathroom, though I thought the coffee table books were a little pretentious (I would have preferred books on the Amalfi Coast over books on Italian fashion). The hotel staff was exceptional, and they arranged for a private car to take us to the starting point for hiking The Path of The Gods and to then pick us up afterwards in Positano. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at Rossellinis, though it ended a little pretentiously with the wait staff giving us a copy of a "keepsake" menu listing each element of our dinner. We wish we had stayed another day, but I guess that means we will need to return for another stay at Avino.
Everything. The kind, thoughtful, attentive staff were incredible. The sun loungers were lovely. Food and breakfast amazing. Not to mention the view!
Minor detail, but if i were to find something to complain about it would be the minimal soundproofing between rooms.
Palazzo Avino is heaven on earth - stunning decor, fantastic food, attentive staff and breathtaking views.
There’s nothing not to love!
The views and garden are amazing and also the beach club.
During the reservation process i saw that there were no photos of the room i selected. I even asked via e-mail for some pictures but aparently they don't have any for the mountain side standard room. It was indeed very small and crowded with a super small window and if i had seen some pictures maybe i would have chosen someting else. Overall the room was fine but i think pictures should exist with every type of room they have.
this was a beautiful hotel... it had a great staff.. it was very comfortable.. i loved this. hotel .it was quite intimate.. we had a very enjoyable stay.. well located and not pretentious.. breakfast was really good.. ravello is a great city
Beautiful location, breathtaking views, first in class property, and most importantly outstanding customer service from all staff members. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends. I hope one day, in the not too distant future, to return!
From the aromatic welcome drink to the personalized farewell card, this place understands hospitality at its core. The room was a sanctuary of comfort, with views that made me linger by the window each morning. The concierge team went above and beyond with their local recommendations, each one perfectly suited to my interests. The evening turndown service with its little surprise
I travel frequently for business, but this stay made me feel like I was on vacation. The workspace in the room was perfectly designed, the Wi-Fi was lightning-fast, and the 24-hour business center was a lifesaver. But what truly set this place apart was the rooftop lounge - the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of meetings. The bartender's knowledge of craft cocktails was impressive
Views from restaurants. Service. Breakfast
Room very small
Everything!
Great selection of breakfast items, including gluten-free options available on a terrace overlooking the Amalfi coast.
This is a wonderful hotel with a wonderful staff. Only one thing, I would have liked to have more gluten-free options on lunch/dinner menu.
For the price and marketing of being a 5 star hotel our experience just did not meet those standards. We stayed here for our honeymoon and had one of top floor deluxe suites so normally you would expect top tier service and amenities. The rooms are out dated, the TVs don’t have any streaming apps or chromecast options so the only channels to watch are in Italian or CNN with limited movie rental options for $15 a piece, for this price point and being a luxury resort this is unacceptable. Bathroom showers are small. Overall the cabinets/storage are limited and small/cheap. We found majority of the staff to be rude and seemed to not want to be bothered. Not very welcoming either. The beach club was randomly closed one day because of rain in the forecast but it was sunny the entire day. And then the next day the beach club was closed for the rest of season which no one disclosed at any time to us. This was disappointed and felt like a big miss in regards to amenities. The pool area has tons of flys, like unbearable we had to leave. They need to remove the grass from that area. The food overall is over priced and small portions, you will leave hungry with a large bill. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful and the views are stunning and the location is great, walking distant to Ravello. However, it feels like the hotel is relying on that and it feels like they don’t think they have to provide a top tier service and experience because of the view/exterior aesthetic. It’s a shame because it is very beautiful but they need to make some improvements if they want to continue to draw clients at this price point.
The location is beautiful. Great view and very good service.
Room was small and the bathroom had only tub and no independent shower. No tea in the room. Breakfast should have had more variety of fruit or organic seeds… we would expect more for the level of the hotel.
A slice of heaven in Italy. Amazing views and even better service. Ravello is a heavenly small town where you feel safe. The hotel has great relationships and picks up the phone quickly to help you for any reason. Rossellini’s is a must visit- the best food and service we’ve ever had at home or in any country.
Palazzo Avino has a lovely view and the people working in housekeeping and at the bar are all very nice and hardworking people. The hotel itself is very clean and the communal spaces are well appointed and have lovely plants and views. They’ve got very cute branding and it looks like they’re very popular with instagram influencers. Many of the reviews show photos of the suites, likely from honeymooners. I wanted to attach a photo of our room as well as the view, so that other people might see what a “mountain view” room might afford them. The room is very small and there are no en suite amenities that you might expect in a 5 star property such as an espresso machine or a teapot, should you wish to have a coffee in room before breakfast begins at 7:30. The Mountain View rooms face the alley where there are often people smoking and crashing bottles from the hotel for early am garbage pickups. Someone mentioned waters and a nightly sweet treat- that for us was a small piece of turn down chocolate. The front desk staff has a markedly different demeanor than the rest of the staff- it was a disconnect for us after staying at another 5 star in Ravello in years past, where the service from start to finish is incredible. Please also check your final bill; I found many erroneous minibar charges that had to be stricken from the bill. I cannot say I would recommend this to clients as “how you treat anyone is how you treat everyone”.
Stunningly beautiful location and fabulous staff.
I can’t think of anything.
Another wonderful holiday at the. Palazzo. We have been returning regularly for 20+ years and it never disappoints. The beauty of the setting, the property itself (recently refreshed), the ambience, and the impeccable service from the excellent team are always a delight. We always feel we are returning to enjoy our time with friends, and we hope we will be able to do so in the future.
