Friendly staff and nice to have a lively pub with food right at your door step. The location to the train was perfect as well.

No elevator but staff will help with luggage if you ask.

It was a nice convenient, lively spot. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the food looks very delicious.

I had to wait quite a while to be checked in. The have it set up so they can only do one person at a time. After checking that person in, they then take that person all the way up to their room, explain stuff like the doors etc and then it isn't guaranteed that they can come check you in next as it is also a pub and the person who does the check in has to help with the pub side of things too.

It was above a corner bar and that was so cool!

A little noisy at night but part of the charm.

Easy and near Paddington and the tube. Took the New Elizabeth line to SoHo in 12 minutes. It’s on top of a pub and some of the rooms may be loud, but mine was quiet and cozy. Breakfast in the pub was above average.

The rooms are small but most rooms are everywhere unless you pay much more.

I may have missed the description about the stairs. My folks aren’t the most able bodied and it was hard for them to get up and down.

La colazione tipica english, per amanti dolce, marmellata e brioche. Personale disponibile per eventuale richieste. Unica nota, nelle stanze alla sera fino alle 23.30 si sente la musica del Pub di sotto, ma non eccessiva. Nel complesso lo consiglierei per gentilezza del personale, la posizione strategica (ottima) e per chi ama la classica Londra, cibo ambiente e gente.

room was good, shower good with hot water. everything you needed to stay. Bar/food area was very crowded each night. Very hot too because of heatwave. Food was good and service excellent. Location as excellent across from Paddington Station.

52 Stairs up to our room and we were not on the top. That was about the only downside. Luckily we only took the suitcase up and down once. Staff did offer to take suitcase up when we arrived though we declined.

The room we were in was huge and very comfortable. Location was very close to train and tube which made getting around easy. Good food close by!

It’s dirty, not enough life, room we were given had a broken AC despite specifically booking one. The room vibrates from the underground train, noise from the outside can also be heard from inside the room. The room isn’t as lit or clean as the pictures depicted, felt like false advertising.

Everything about our stay was great. The crew, the location, the cute pub/restaurant, the price. We will stay there again for sure.

Rummet var rent och fräscht, nya bäddningar och handdukar varje dag. Läget mycket bra enligt mig om du vill göra aktiviteter, nära till Paddington Station och buss som går till Notting Hill. Ac:n var fantastisk då vi besökte London under värmebölja. Trevligt bemötande från personal, det finns även alltid personal nere i puben på natten om något händer eller om man behöver hjälp. Kändes tryggt!

Puben blev mycket varm under vistelsen när vi åt där, rekommenderar att käka på andra ställen om ni bor på detta boende under sommaren. Ljud från tunnelbanan (paddington station) förekommer, men jag tyckte dock att det var mysigt. Även något svåröppnad dörr till rummet.

Very close to Paddington station. Lovely room with wonderful sheets on bed, great soft pillows, and big fluffy towels. Room had refer full of drinks and snacks available. Large flat screen TV. Hotel rooms above pub but very quiet and comfortable.

Great location! Super close to Paddington station and easy to get around. The decorations are in the hotel are nice, give it a boutique feel.

It’s an older building so there are expected problems with things like the air con which stopped functioning for the entire building for a few hours while we were there. However, the staff worked really hard to get it up and running. Kudos to them! In general, the air con unit could also be cleaned a bit more as it was also quite dusty which might contribute to it not running as efficiently.

Het appartement is ruim en comfortabel. De ontvangst was aangenaam, er stonden verse bloemen en vers fruit op de tafel. Er waren 2 aparte kamers met elk een badkamer. De metrotoegang en de bushaltes lagen erg dichtbij, gewoon straat over steken. Het Hyde Park is op wandelafstand.

Elk voordeel heeft zijn nadeel, 5.15u begonnen de metrostellen te rijden en dus ook lawaai te maken, je kan de stationshalte zien vanuit de badkamer. Een goede slaper heeft er weinig last van. Het appartement ligt op de bovenste verdieping, dus heel wat trappen te gaan maar dat werd op voorhand vermeld. Er zijn ventilatoren ter verkoeling, geen airco. Je hebt een type G reisstekker nodig wil je de GSM kunnen opladen.

Location is ideal for catching a train and the service was excellent. The real flowers in the window box outside my room windows put it over the top for me. Perfect little pub stay

階段が急で、足腰の弱い方には向いていないかも。また、地下鉄が通るたびにゴーという音がして、人によってはなかなか眠れない場合もあるかもしれません。お部屋に『耳栓』もありました笑（私は楽しかったですが）

Really lovely stay at the Pride of Paddington. The room was great and very calm and quiet considering its just next to Paddington Station. Very no-nonsense kind of vibe from the staff, which we love. I think this is the way to stay in London instead of "normal" hotels. We had our six months old with us, and it worked really well. Also, the location made it super easy to get to and from the airport. Would definately recommend.

We didnt know that the hotel is a bar, it was not writing anywhere. No loby, no reception. we couldent sleep well because of the underground noise. Brekfast was served by an unpleasent woman. No elevator and we had to carry our suitcases up.

Fantastic location as we travelled to London on train to Paddington Station. Apartment was fantastic and very modern with lots of additional complimentary extras we were not expecting. Also above a great pub. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Loved our couple nights stay here! Super convenient location (direct from London Heathrow), tube access and walking distance to many sights. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Comfy bed, nice room and bathroom, couldn't fault it! Staff had luggage storage onsite so that we could leave our bags prior to check in and go explore London. Perfect for couples or singles!

Struttura situata in una posizione eccellente per la vicinanza alla stazione dei treni e della metropolitana. Non condivido chi lo definisce rumoroso, eravamo in una camera al primo piano e nessun rumore ha disturbato il nostro sonno. Lo staff è molto disponibile e gentile, c'è il deposito bagagli che, per chi come noi viaggia con un volo di rientro serale, risulta comodissimo. Anche la presenza dell'aria condizionata è un valore aggiunto. Pulizia apprezzabile. Un pò costoso ma lo consiglierei. Grazie dell'omaggio per il compleanno di mio marito!

Sarebbe necessario aggiungere qualche gancio in bagno per gli asciugamani, in tre non sapevamo dove metterli. Cambio asciugamani e pulizia del bagno giornaliera ma non rifanno il letto, basterebbe questo per essere il top.

We stayed in the 6 person apartment and it was absolutely gorgeous, couldn’t have asked for more! So spacious and so nicely decorated. So close to Paddington station and the breakfast included was a lovely touch. The staff were very helpful.

The location is excellent, just across the road from Paddington Station. The staff are very friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We've used the pub many times over the years, but this was our first stay, and definitely won't be the last.

The location was supurb and the room was very big. Much bigger than you'll find in hotels elsewhere in London. Also: typical English breakfast that'll get you through the day. It's very good, so I recommend to have your breakfast there.

Breakfast was amazing fresh prepared and the staff was very ready to satisfy every customer. The Pride is a real British full experience, an old-style pub and rooms in central London where share talks with other customers from a the world and English friends. Amazing guys. go away!

Perfect range within the train station made getting around London really easy. The staff were great and friendly and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely stay again.

If you’re a light sleep which I’m not you may struggle to sleep as the underground trains do go under the building. Hearing plugs weee provided though!!

The place is in very good location. The place is big for a 2 bedrooms apartment.

The winding stairs is not for a week knee.

Location is fantastic just across the road from Paddington station - very convenient when taking the Heathrow Express and bringing luggage. The staff were all lovely and the the breakfast was very good - you can select from the pub breakfast menu so there were lots of choices. We found it an easy walk to most central London sights.

The air conditioning wasn't working properly which was disappointing as air conditioning was our top filter this trip due to the heat. We were offered another room but I checked a couple and they didn't seem much cooler.

Wir waren in London um Konzerte im Wembley Stadion zu besuchen. Die Lage in Paddington in der Nähe vom Bahnhof mit Bus, Zug und U-Bahn hat sich als idealer Ort zum Verweilen festgestellt. Das Hotel befindet sich über einer gut besuchten Bar. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben und rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet.

Brilliant location close to Paddington mainline station and underground stations. The room was small but perfect for a single traveller. Very clean and tidy room - the aircon was just what was needed in the hot weather. Nice bar area - very busy but friendly atmosphere and staff. Good value for money. Bit noisy in the Paddington area with the hospital being nearby.

Very nicely designed and conveniently located near the Paddington station. A lot of good food options available just around the corners. The pub just below is great if you like your drinks.

Noisy especially if you're on the first floor as the pub plays loud music until 12am. On weekends, the crowd outside the pub can be rowdy and you can hear it in the room. The breakfast option is also quite sad.

The rooms are always such a pleasant surprise, especially after you trek up the stairs and wonder what is coming. Checking is is always a little chaotic but the staff are so friendly that it more than makes up for it.

This was my second time staying here, and I decided to return because my first visit left such a positive impression. The location is excellent and was the main reason I booked this place again. The room rate is on the higher side, but considering the convenience and overall experience, I felt it was money well spent. Breakfast is served in the pub downstairs. During my stay, I tried both the traditional English breakfast and the vegetarian version. Both were enjoyable, but I personally preferred the vegetarian option as it was lighter and didn't leave me feeling overly full. I was given a room very similar to the one I had stayed in previously, so everything felt familiar from the moment I arrived. The room is generously sized, comfortable, and provides plenty of space to relax. A quick note for future guests: the property places a £50 hold on your card when you check in. This isn't a payment that is taken from your account; it's simply a temporary authorisation that is removed after you check out. I checked my bank statement afterwards and can confirm that no money was actually charged. That said, some travellers may find this a little inconvenient, particularly because cash deposits are not accepted. It's not a major issue, but it's worth knowing in advance before you arrive.

The only drawback is that there is no lift in the building, so carrying luggage up and down the stairs can be quite a challenge, especially if you have heavy bags.

Lors de la réservation de l'hôtel, le site nous propose de sélectionner notre heure de check-in, mais l'hôtel ne peut pas accepter les arrivées avant 15h.

It is a very spacious apartment in a great location. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very good. We enjoyed eating and drinking at the Pub in the evening. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It didn't bother us, but it is up 4-5 flights of stairs.

Completely updated room with luxury linens and bath. Quirky rooms above popular pub across the street from Paddington Station. Easy to get to everywhere. Quick walk to Hyde Park, a little further to Buckingham Palace but all within easy reach. Paddington is the station with the Heathrow Express to get you to the airport in record time.

Really nothing we didn't like. Maybe that the outdoor tables were really meant for smokers - which was not appealing for us

Imagine arriving in London after a long plane flight and catching the train from Heathrow to Paddington station. The Pride of Paddington is literally next to the station. Could not be easier to find. Relax in the pub and have a traditional English Ale, then go up to your room to relax. Come downstairs for a traditional fish and chips for supper. We stayed at the Pride twice, as the beginning and end of our vacation. Our first room was smaller than our second room. Both rooms were clean. Both had nice bathrooms with rain showers. Staff were friendly and helped carry our bags up the stairs (no elevator).

Besides being above a pub, the rooms were quiet. Except for the rumble of the subway every 10 minutes or so. That could be annoying. Unlocking the door was tricky. Someone set off the fire alarm at 3 in the morning!

Location was excellent not far from Paddington and the tube , Hyde park and 20 mins walk to Oxford street

You hear the underground until 11.30 pm .. but to bad in the day as your not there but if you go to your room after 9pm expect noise from the underground- but to be honest we got use to it . It wouldn’t stop us staying again

Location opposite Paddington Station is perfect for a tired traveller arriving in London. I was upgraded from a single room to a double, a gesture much appreciated. Room had all amenities that I required and was well appointed.

施設が古く、鍵がスムーズではなかったが、狭い階段も赴きがありかえって私は好きだった。

I was disappointed to find that I was 56 steps up a winding staircase with my luggage and shopping. I did have help when checking in, but had to move my luggage down in stages on departure. The room was soulless . A postcard on the desk showed a beautifully designed room, my room had no pictures, no headboard, a stool instead of a chair. There was no coffee machine and the kettle corner needed extra lighting. The shower is claustrophobic, a man would struggle in this! I have stayed at 3 other Young's pubs with rooms, mostly The Almer. I booked POP for that reason. On this occasion I was travelling solo and felt I knew the brand well enough to be confident that I would feel safe and welcomed. The staff were welcoming but the room wasn’t. Sadly I would not return to POP.

breakfast was with a verity of dishes, room was clean and comfortable. The only thing is that you hear the subway. The location is literally outside the paddington station which is a great bonus.

reception is in the bar - which is kind of unique :) and there's a Fish & Chips smell, for the ones who are found of it.

Brilliant position beside Paddington station & easy walk to Hyde Park & Kensington gardens. The 1 meal I ate was excellent- asparagus soup & they had a great menu. Staff wanted to help.

If you are a light sleeper it may not work. The trains can be heard & footsteps on the stairs outside room are loud.. didn’t bother me but I noticed.
