Microtel Inn & Suites Sault Ste. Marie

Would’ve rated this 10/10, however, there was an issue with ants.

There were a few ants crawling around the bathroom and the jacuzzi tub.

Good locations clean and staff were lovely. Cleaning staff did a great job cleaning my room

Everything was good

Staff was excellent, very kind and helpful.

Extremely clean and comfortable bed

Can’t think of anything

Location

Na

Rooms are always nice, beds are comfortable a the Breakfast is always great and 24 hr tea, coffee and juices are greatly appreciated

Very clean, great location and comfortable

Location is good if you want to stay up North in the UP.

Breakfast area is very small.

I enjoyed how nice the staff were and how clean the rooms were

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff.

My husband found the ac unit noisy

The bed was very comfortable.

The AC made quite a bit of noise when running.

Posizione eccellente per visitare Calgary e dintorni, con parcheggio. Zona tranquilla e residenziale a 30 minuti di macchina dal centro città. Struttura pulita e con tutti i servizi. Staff gentilissimo disponibile e professionale. Grazie ad Andrew.

Nulla. Se proprio devo, colazione poco varia.

Easy check in.

Elevator was a little sluggish

I LIKE THE LOCATION TO THE HOSPITAL, VERY CLOSE. I ALSO LIKE THE BREAKFAST THEY SERVE. THEY HAVE COFFEE 24-7. THEY ALSO HAVE AN INDOOR SWIMMMING POOL THAT IS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR DOING LAPS.

THEY SHOULD HAVE DESIGNATED AREA'S FOR THOSE WHO SMOKE OUTSIDE. NOT NEAR THE DOORS OF THE ENTRANCES.

The property is beautiful and very clean

Easy parking cheap stay worth the money

View to the swimming pool window abit creepy inside the bedroom, bathroom slide door lots of wood dust over the floor where it's catching looked like a saw mill.

Rooms

Nothing

The breakfast was good and had a good variety of food. Sandra was friendly and did a great job on preparing everything.

Pleasant staff, very clean, comfortable beds and good breakfast selections. Reasonable price for accommodations.

No issues.

The breakfast was very good just very crowded.

Very small rooms with no place to put things in the bathroom. Not even a place to hand your towel. Beds ok but please get fitted sheets both of our beds were a tangled mess by morning. TV channel lists would have been very helpful.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location in relation to driving through on highway 17.

Minimal control over the fan/ventilation. There was a/c, however on auto and since it was colder out it was hard to trick it to have the fan on more often. Also looks like the property was refurbished and clean on the surface, but not exactly as pictured. Room was small, however unsure if this is normal for the brand as this was my first time staying at a Microtel.

Welcoming & had everything that we needed.

Nothing

The staff welcomes you with a smile no matter what time of day. We arrived at 11 pm from a long drive, tired and hungry, but the staff were very accommodating, answering our questions, and very helpful. The location, near restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

I don’t have anything that I do not like at this time

It was clean, comfortable and had a great breakfast.

The parking spaces were a little tight.

Location comfort and cleanliness

Nothing

Staff and cleanliness and breakfast is decent

It was convenient and we had stayed the week before.

We had a handicapped room which was ok but difficult for tall people

Very clean

Very clean and lovely staff

The wifi connection was awful, I was able to complete my project

Everything was amazing. The room was fantastic. Cute window seat in the room

Comfy beds, clean

Pool way too small to use. Water pressure not great and a/c unit very loud

Clean and comfortable rooms with most of the basic room amenities.

The breakfast spread could be better by introducing some change in the daily menu

Clean and in a great location.

Breakfast was OK

Very clean!!

Friendly staff. Room was clean and comfy bed. We requested a quiet room and the staff checked us into room away from elevator.

Nothing.

Hotel is spotless. Staff are very friendly.

This was our first stay at a Microtel Inn and we were very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the desk clerk who checked us in. The room was compact but well-appointed, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable short stay. The layout and furnishings had a "European feel." While staying here, we enjoyed dinner next door at a delightful local chain – Wacky's Wings – which offers a full menu and funky atmosphere. The food was delicious and moderately priced. I wish I'd known about Microtel Inns when I was travelling for work because it would have been a perfect fit for my needs.

This hotel is located on a busy highway without traffic controls, so entering and exiting the parking lot can be challenging.

I like a smaller hotel and this one fit the bill!

Very nice

地理位置优越，房间干净整洁舒适，性价比高。

早餐方面可以提供煎鸡蛋或煮鸡蛋会更好

Windows that open - great way to get fresh air without annoying noise from AC.

Everything was on the plus side of "GOOD" I would use this facility again.

Convenient location to highways & restaurants

Could be updated

Comfortable room. Friendly staff.

At around 4am, one of the other guests on the second floor was banging on a door for several minutes. I also heard a phone for at least 2 min, it woke me out of a dead sleep. I did not call the front desk to complain, I should have, but I didn't.

Everything was perfect

Pool was little small and water was so cold

Our go to on our way up north, always a good choice!

Very clean, all the amenities.

The girls at front desk were very friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean everywhere. Asked for a room I didn’t have to walk much and they accommodated me.

Nothing

Clean new

Breakfast was great Room was very Staff friendly and accommodating

Everything was great

Muy bien ubicado, limpio, tranquilo, confortable y su personal muy amable.

the staff and room were great- comfortable & clean...

the staff was easy to deal with and very helpful

Close proximity to the hospital.

Wish there was a cafe or restaurant in the hotel.

Nice and well located

Nothing

Clean facility. Room had a comfortable bed and nice desk area. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Friendly staff.

Minor inconvenience. No hooks anywhere in the bathroom.

The hotel is clean and neat inside and outside . Staff was friendly , professional and polite . Our room was a good size , the bed and pillows were very comfortable . The breakfast was quite lovely , had a good assortment of foods .

It is my issue , but I found the bed high , had to work to get into it . The window seat was the same . The pool was clean , but a little small for a hotel of this size .

Easy check in, reasonable price clean accommodations.

Can't think if anything i didn't like

Every time I find myself in Sault St. Marie, this is my go-to hotel! Excellent location on the main highway, lots of restaurants and gas stations nearby making it an ideal location if you're on a roadtrip. Room was clean and comfortable, and staff were friendly - can't ask for much more!

Good location. Free parking. Easy access to hotel. Free coffee / tea / water and juice in lobby 24/7. Continental breakfast included and high chair available for baby. Moderate price point.

The hotel is nice, however it shows it is a "budget" hotel. Small pillows, small towels, rooms nice but no "wow" factor.

Our stay was short, but staff were friendly, the room was very clean with everything we needed, and we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast.

The lady at the desk was on point 👌🏻 she was very light and bubbly with personality, yet very professional and explained everything.

I didn't like your texts and emails

Loved taking a nice long jacuzzi after a long day of travels, my room was in the best area as it was right close to the exit where my truck was parked plus it was straight across from the pool and work out gym. Too bad I missed the breakfast as I believe I was told breakfast was served from 7.30am until 10.30am!!!! I probably misunderstood lol oh well my bad 🤭 besides that everything was fantastic

Missing my breakfast grrrrr I went at 10.10am but there it was lol gone 🙃 🙃

Room was clean and breakfast was ok, nothing special. Room was quiet.

TV was a little off. Every channel had a description of the channel and the content. The content did NOT match what was on the tv. Seemed each channel description was off by one screen.

Pool was cold

Breakfast was perfect. Exactly what was needed.

Love this hotel. Always stay there when I'm passing through the Sault ste Marie.

The room was very clean.

The room lighting was poor.

Natualy breakfast was awesome and really good Courtesy was really awesome Really clean Definitely going back

Nothing

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean, and fairly quiet.

I wish breakfast was extended to a later time. Maybe 11 AM for people who are not early risers. Also, what's with the terrible selection and low number of channels available on the TV?

Friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

Place pricy.

Good breakfast, but juice tasted watered down.

Coffee was a little cold in the afternoon.

Location was great for work, breakfast was good and the staff were really good with me

Not much of a gripe, but would be nice have some good tv channels that work.
