The location is peaceful, right outside the hotel you can hire your boat. The staff were very friendly and so are the owners. They have a great massage service and also the rooms are lovely.

8/10 pour la beauté de l'hôtel, super personnel et patron accueillant, situation idéale bord de mer. Bon Restaurant (mais choix ultra limite) et massage avec le bruit des vagues (top), prix correct. Situation top pour regarder le coucher de soleil. Bonne situation à 10 minutes en voiture du lieu de départ des bateaux pour aller voir les dauphins. Je pense que l'hôtel est un peu écarté du centre donc vous n'aurez pas trop le choix concernant les restaurants. De toute façon a lovina à part les dauphins il n'y a pas grand chose. Perso je suis ravi de mon passage à lovina pour aller voir les dauphins mais une nuit sur place est amplement suffisant pour cela. La plage et la mer sont particulièrement parsemés de déchets flottants plastique et autres et donc ce n'est pas un endroit de tourisme idéal pour le plaisir de la mer

Choix très limité des plats au resto. Petit dej correct mais sommaire. Ma fille a choisi l'option céréales car elle aime bien les petits déj sucrés et elle l'a reçu que 30 g de céréales. Seulement un voile en guise de tenture et vous êtes donc réveillé avec les premiers rayons du soleil. La chambre que j'ai eu est la plus proche de la route et même si c'est à 70 m cela reste très bruyant car il y a beaucoup de circulation. Je vous conseille de demander une chambre qui n'est pas côté rue. L'hôtel est bien, très bon rapport qualité-prix mais lovina n'est pas un lieu où je conseillerais de sejourner plus d'une nuit si vous découvrez bali.

Accueil très chaleureux de Mickaël (un australien et sa femme qui ont repris les rênes de l'hôtel depuis quelques mois), chambre spacieuse, et cette vue... à couper le souffle ! Nous avons assisté à nos plus beaux couchers de soleil confortablement installé sur des poufs sur une place déserte ! Car il est là, l'atout majeur de cette hôtel : on est seuls au monde sur cette plage, bien loin des touristes massés un peu plus loin du Lovina Beach...

From A to Z, everything is perfect. All the team is so kind, very professional. One of the best sleeping comfort. They have a very good good of mattress. And the pillow have a form memory. So what else ? They use an antibacterial to clean it all. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the client respect you gave us.

This Inn is right on the water so you could go snorkelling out the front. We walked 20m along the path that runs along the beach to the boats and organised a boat trip out to the reef. Amazing fish and coral was easily accessed. The pool was a great place to meet other guests and the staff were very helpful. We had the three rooms on the first floor where we could all sit on the verandah enjoying views and relaxing. A short walk up the driveway past the rice field brings you to a range of shops which was very handy. There was also parking available. Very enjoyable

One of our 3 rooms didn't have hot water but I'm sure this would now be fixed

Excellent place right on the water. The owners are delightful, staff very attentive, and the facilities maintained very well. The food was delicious and the view of the sunsets magnificent. I spent ten nights here and highly recommend this spot for couples, families, and people vacationing with their dogs.

The staff are awesome! Very friendly and accommodating! They went over and above for me! I felt very safe even though some of the nights I was the only one in rooms. Security guards were available and on site overnight.

Driving up to the accommodation had me worried. It is very unwelcoming and run down on the outside! Going into the reception alleviated my concerns. There was a caterpillar outbreak of some sort. Not specific to this hotel. Staff worked diligently to keep the area clear but it wasn't easy.

The staff were awesome and the pool was lovely. The room was very clean (other than the bad smell in the mornings).

The property itself is lovely, however it’s located in an area that is quite run down and it has derelict properties around it. There is also a sewer issue which resulted in an awful smell in my bathroom each morning.

Etablissement face à la mer avec une jolie piscine. Le restaurant est bon. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie confortable. Le personnel est aimable.

Seulement des rideaux aux fenêtres (impossible de dormir après le lever du soleil). Les chambres sont à rafraichir. L'environnement autour de l'hôtel est très pauvre et sale.

Very relaxing, can swim in the ocean right out the front at high tide, pool beautiful, too.

The mosquitoes woke us during the night - came in through the gap in the door and windows. ‘Sealed’ the door and windows with towels plus cold aircon fixed the issue.

The views, pool and rooms were lovely. The staff were wonderful and arranged yoga and massages for us.

Family run, small beachfront resort, where the dolphin tour can pick up directly. There are convenience stores a short but dark walk out. Room was spacious! Near a big resort where you might be able to enjoy their breakfast or beachfront massage if you want something more upscale.

The property is a bit old but functional. Breakfast was a bit sad as they ran out of mi goreng.

This beach front stay is so nice, right in front of the ocean, room is cosy too, we wish to stay longer. There is also paddy field view in front of the Villa. Really nice place to have a relaxing holiday

The villa was really cute and quiet. The beds were not the best but comfortable enough for the few nights we stayed.

We were the only guests for two nights and we noticed many of the other rooms appeared new and renovated, but we were booked in an older villa. We wondered why they would not put us in a better room, to avoid the negative comments. The shower was a let down for us unfortunately, definately needs an upgrade and the menu was extremely basic. We had breakfast included but upon ordering, there was some items not available eg bacon. Kind of a big deal when I'm GF, so I had the choice of eggs or eggs. Their juices are not cold, so that was unpleasant. Dinner was the same with items unavailable.

It was extremely homely. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The staff couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. They recommended an excellent tour guide who was extremely kind and gave us a private tour at a great price. We would definitely return.

There was a bit of confusion around breakfast and what was included in the price.

Waterfront location, clean and well-equipped rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and tasty food. In previous reviews, some people have said that the food is a little on the pricey side. I disagree. The staff only use quality cuts, give decent size portions and so of course one has to pay a little extra. They have a wide variety of local and western food and I happily ate there every day. The chicken noodle soup was delicious as were the beef guiness stew and chocolate lava cake. Decent WiFi too. There’s not many places nowadays that you can lie in your hotel by the ocean and hear the waves lapping in. It was bliss. They have various places around the hotel to lounge too. You can see the sunset in the sea and watch the day dawn from the rear Mountain View. Beautiful colours

The staff were very helpful and friendly, it was clean and it was on the beach.

My overall experience was affected by the Smoke of the nearby rice fields which kept us up all night long!

Good overall for families and couples. Clean, good breakfast and swimming pool. The swimming pool gets shady from mid arvo so good to get in then onwards. Good value for deluxe family rooms with adequate space and comfort. Would stay here again.

Exceptional service. The staff treated us like family especially Norman. The view was our room and restaurant was stunning. Only downside was the curtains were not dark enough and the room was lit up through the night

The center area with the pool is pleasant to look out to. The hotel is isolated and therefore quiet and peaceful. The view out over the ocean is calming. Nothing is quantifiably bad here.

Waayyy too much money for what you get. Breakfast provided is very minimal. The facilities are fine but you can get the same or better for half the price closer to Lovina. There is no beach at the property and even less so now that they are building a wave-break system. We walked the ocean edge to Lovina Beach and the walk is sometimes treacherous and takes a good 45 minutes.

This is a great place to stay. Staff was wonderful. They treat us well as we are all senior citizen. Very relaxing and chilling for us. No double standard service where ever you came from as we experience from Puri Kesari guest House for a double standard service.

The hotel is very nice with big and comfortable family rooms. It is right at the beach with perfect sea to swim. There are a few lower cost local eateries around at the beach and a supermarket in front of the hotel.

If you are looking to do a dolphin tour, make sure you research more responsible tour providers than the ones the hotel and other places around offer. Most boats do not respect any animal protection measures and charge at the dolphins. We were happy with Edi and his team.

The first impression when we arrived was really good. Location close to a supermarket, the street is not directly at the hotel and the pool + area is very clean. Familiar & cosy hotel :)

Not about the property but there’s not much to do in Lovina besides the dolphins. You can go to waterfalls etc but I’d recommend to stay in Munduk/Ubud and go for a day trip only.

The place is a bit far from main Lovina beach. Also they charged service charge and sales tax on their restaurant bill and also charged 3% extra for card payment

I love my short stay here. You get the value of what you paid for and actually more! The rooms are a bit outdated but the view would definitely suffice for it as it has an amazing view. It’s right directly in the ocean and you can have peaceful, quiet time in here. The staff are amazing. They definitely take care of you. Thank you everyone in Villa Agung Beach Inn.

The room was beautiful, a nice size and comfortable The staff were friendly and helpful. The whole place was clean and well looked after. The pool was nice.

The shower pressure is very weak. The included breakfast is very basic but the other options that you have to pay for are good. The staff smoke at the tables in the restaurant area all day long, making it uncomfortable for people who dont smoke. Eating areas should be smoke free as smoking is a huge health risk. Or at least there should be an area for non smokers. Staff spray the bedding with some kind of perfumed air freshener that is very pungent, it gave us a headache. So inside the room was this pungent smell and if you go outside you inhale a lot of smoke, so there was nowhere you could sit comfortably.

Everything was done really well. Clean, freshly painted and well kept. Comfortable bed and room. Great location and wonderful staff.

Only a minor thing: The curtains were white and didn’t cover the windows so the room was a bit bright to sleep in. But otherwise, everything was great!

Villa Agung is a wonderful place to stay , views to the ocean, lots of different places to hang out . it is a well thought out design. Its lovely to be so close to the ocean , enjoy the sunset or sunrise . We accidentally booked the family room , which was wonderfully spacious but way to big for just the 2 of us . The staff are so wonderful and really look after you . The upstairs rooms look great with both Ocean view and views to the rice paddies behind . I would love to come back and stay again!

Unfortunately the beach in front gets a lot of plastic that washes down in the rain from the hills and whilst it’s raked up , it’s not removed. This plastic problem is in many places in Bali

Can't ask for more - perfect beachfront location hedged in by rice fields in the back. They did a great job on remodeling the whole property during Covid (I visited the restaurant & pool a few times prior). Always great food (all homemade - even the nuggets & fries). Wifi was strong enough to handle a Zoom call, which is rare for this area. Love the sliding doors / full windows overlooking the pool area, though it did mean the room was a big light at night.

White curtains on the windows are a perfect match for the theme/decor but do mean it stays bright in the room at night - not a problem though, just wear an eyemask!

I loved the architecture of that place. It is build like an atrium - nice restaurant at the seaside. terrace above the restaurant - a great place to relax! The rooms are new renovated, very nice fresh atmosphere. Bed was marvelous. Wi-Fi worked everywhere very good. Housekeeping very good. No insects in bath or room. Pool is very well maintained. I had breakfast and dinner at Villa Agung. It tasted delicious! fruits in the morning were the best I’ve had in Bali. Sandy, the owner, was very helpful to me. I really loved my stay there! I am very grateful to all the staff and Sandy!

Lovely place, right on the beach. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Decent sized rooms with comfortable bed, fridge etc. WiFi strong. We would highly recommend the place.
