Lovely apartment. Easy access on arrival. Very close to all amenities.

Les serviettes d un autre temps et le ménage pas au top. Le rideau cassé, le sèche serviette en panne.. laisse a penser un manque d entretien global. Pour autant nous avons bien dormi.

The bed was somewhat comfortable.

We were 4 families travelling together, all paid the same. Two families had a kitchen and a dining table with chairs, a washing machine and ample space while the other two had none of these. The floors were not clean, dust everywhere, towels were torn and a really funny smell. The bathrooms need a really good scrub and the furniture needs an upgrade. Not even a dish sponge or a dishcloth were provided. We cleaned the floors ourselves as we have an 18 month old and the crib has no mattress. Very disappointed and disgusted.

Super zentral am Haymarket gelegen. Ein wirklich sehr schönes Apartment mit allem was man braucht. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Wir waren 3 Stunden früher da und konnten problemlos unser Gepäck abstellen.

Bitte tauscht die Handtücher aus. Diese haben ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich und haben sich beim abtrocknen fast aufgelöst.

Great location in the West End. All of the amenities you would expect for a pleasant stay. No issues with obtaining the code via phone to enter the apartment and deposit was returned within 2 working days.

The rooms could definitely do with a touch up regarding decoration and furniture, as everything is quite dated. I would have expected that spotless, clean linen is provided between guests for hygiene reasons. Cleanliness could be improved by ensuring either new or extremely well cleaned linen is provided. The main beds were reasonable, however the pull out beds were unusable due to heavy stains alone. As we were a group of guys, we just bunked up on the double beds and didn't create a fuss, but this would be an issue if travelling with children or family etc.

We thought the location was very good. Everything needed was in the apartment. Security was a little OTT but understandable when it's not staffed at all times and we did feel safe!

Some of the furnishings had seen better days and the shower needed a really good scrub - cillit bang is excellent for this! Smaller rooms than expected.

Great location and fantastic size. Was very clean, fresh smelling bedding and towels. Fab sized bathrooms and well equipped with tea, coffee and wash up liquid etc. Fiund a hairdryer also which was fab as we forgot ours. Iron and ironing board supplied.

Needs a bit of TLC as the linoleum was taped on the floor the kitchen.

Overpriced for very basic provision. One step up from student accommodation. Weird arrangement of unnecessary furniture eg. A sofa lodged into the corner of the bedroom, a tall bistro coffee table in the corner of the kitchen alongside a table. Reminded us of a junk shop. Door left open on two occasions after staff switched out towels. Dirty windows.

Location is good and rooms are a good size

The windows are mostly stuck closed with one wedged open. With the warm summer all the windows needed to be open. Sink didn’t drain properly and while cleaning staff were informed they unfortunately didn’t fix it. Note this is generally an unmanned facility with only cleaning staff present during day.

Walls are incredibly thin. If you were to have the top floor, be careful carrying your luggages up and down as the stairs are steep

The place was clean. And had a second room to eat in with a couch, coffee table and a tv. Also had a microwave and kitchen sink to wash dishes, which was also provided

The personnel is very kind and helpfull. The neighborhood is very vibrant and nice, but from inside absolute quiet.

L’emplacement près de Haymarket. Très pratique pour aller en ville ou à l’aéroport. Le plan cuisine est bien conçu sauf que le nombre d’assiettes et de couverts est vraiment limité, le minimum du minimum.

Après avoir grimpé 44 marches jusqu’au grenier, on se trouve dans un appartement en soupente avec vue sur des murs et cheminée décrépis et crasseux. Le seul panneau vitré qui donne sur le ciel est maculé d’immondices. C’est absolument déprimant. Impossible d’ouvrir Les soi-disant fenêtres pour aérer un peu. Dans la salle de bain, il n’y a pas de mitigeur, on est donc obligé de gaspiller l’eau pendant longtemps avant d’être enfin trouver la bonne température.

Good location for the train station and good room sizes, large living area and bedrooms. Good kitchen facilities.

Property was a bit worn in some places, with duck tape covering some flooring in the living room. Four us were staying but there weren’t enough towels left out. We did see room service the next morning who gave us more towels.

This property is in a great location and the suite gives the property extra space for eating at home, albeit there are limited cooking facilities. One thing to note is there wasn’t any functioning window’s, meaning getting fresh air in and cooling the property after a long hot day was not possible.

As above, not being to open windows in a non air-conditioned property meant the room was quite warm at the end of a summer day.

Very clean, spacious and complete with a range of useful furniture. It was also nicely decorated and the sofas and beds were comfy. The shower had good water pressure. There were teas and coffees available which was a lovely surprise.

From the photos, i had the impression the beds were in a separate room within the apartment. Instead everything was in the same room (2 sofas, 2 beds, kitchen), basically a studio apartment, so we had to do a bit of noise management.

El colchón chico e incómodo. La ducha no tenía buen desagote. La sala tiene una mesa de vidrio qué hay que esquivar para no golpearse, muy grande e innecesaria. Hay una sola mesa de luz.

Difficulté d’accès à l’arrivée : nous n’avions pas les 3 codes pour accéder à l’appartement. Nous avons perdu 1 heure pour contacter l’agence. Attention : ni four, ni plaque de cuisson.

The bedding was not clean, I found several hairs on pillows, on top of duvet and in between the duvet and sheets - I have very short hair. I looked like the bed had already been slept in and not changed from previous guest. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The requests when ‘checking out’ and cleaning, particularly as they were serviced apartments, I felt was unreasonable and a bit of a cheek considering cleanliness on the whole was very poor. I felt very uncomfortable in the bed, it did not smell fresh and the pillow slips were grubby. The bedding was also very worn with rips and holes in it. The property was very basic, I didn’t even have a fork to eat my food, and was very worn/dated. I understand the high price I was paying was for the location, but the fact I couldn’t open a window in the middle of a heatwave was ridiculous. Not only that, but I was on the back of the police station with single glazing so heard a lot of commotion and sirens during the night. No staff at the desk at any point to make my concerns known, only able to call reservations and speak to someone to get into the property. Very disappointed given the cost of the property, I expected something better and comfortable, and a little less worn/dated/grubby.

Sehr geräumiges Apartment. Es gab zusätzliche Decken. Zwei große Badezimmer. Es war alles sehr sauber und trotz Stadtnähe war die Lautstärke in Ordnung. Wir konnten unser Gepäck im Hauptflur auch vor Check-in abstellen.

Check-in etwas kompliziert. Man füllt online alles aus und muss das dann vor Ort nochmal alles machen. Die Betten war sehr weich, man ist in der Mitte immer zusammengerollt.

Indtjekningen var under al kritik. Forkerte koder som det oven i købet tog lang tid at få. Og det samme gjaldt de andre gæster som ankom nogenlunde samtidig med os!! Der manglede en sengelampe og vinduet var meget svært at åbne!!

Leiligheten skulle være utstyrt til 2 voksne og 2 barn, men det manglet både fat og bestikk. Vinduene var veldig skitne og full av råte. Sengene var ikke noe å skryte av. Sovesofaen var grusom å sove på

Location was ok but I had decided whereabouts I wanted to be.

A very disappointing experience. Location was fine but I chose the location so can’t give any credit for that. Advertised as a suite with kitchenette. A fridge with a microwave on top does not constitute a kitchenette. The fridge was next to the bed a ran very noisy disturbing any sleep. No food prep surface and no where to wash up. I assume you expect the washbasin to be used for washing up but with no drain board and nowhere to stack wet pots etc it was completely impractical. The low sideboard also not suitable for any food prep etc. The high table and chairs ok to snack at but not suitable for dining. The bed creaked with every movement again disturbing sleep. No chairs to sit and relax. TV only viewable from bed. A small space in front of the wardrobe with two dining chairs against the wall is not a dressing area. Definitely over described as a suite with a kitchenette. Stark unnecessary warnings of extra charges including if rubbish not placed in the bin. The bin was tiny and not suitable, no extra bag as mentioned in the warning. In general the place was tatty, the walls were dirty and marked, the shower didn’t drain away. There were signs of damp everywhere. Thin walls so could hear next door. All in all very poor and not worth the money paid.

Le seul point positif de cet hébergement est la localisation proche du centre historique (10 mn).

L'accès à l'hébergement est médiocre. Il faut 3 codes qui ne nous ont pas été communiqués auparavant ou à notre arrivée par mail ou message écrit téléphonique. Il n'y avait jamais personne à l'accueil. Il a fallu appeler un n° de téléphone. Si vous ne maîtrisez pas bien l'anglais c'est compliqué. L'appartement en lui même (suite Caledonnian 4) est très basique (mauvaise qualité du canapé lit, les fenêtres donnent sur des murs extérieurs, les vitres sont sales et les stores ou rideaux ne sont pas occultants, pas de rangements dans la salle de bain, l'armoire dans la chambre ne contient pas d'étagères - seulement une penderie avec 3 cintres, le linge de lit est lavé mais tâché, les équipements de cuisine pas très propres, etc...). Ce logement n'est pas fait pour 4 personnes mais seulement 2 qui peuvent dormir ensemble. Point à souligner, le logement se trouve au 2ème étage sans ascenseur.

De locatie en ruimte waren fantastisch. Lekker ruim en prettig om twee badkamers en twee wc's te hebben.

De slaapbanken waren onvoldoende. Veel te dun matras waardoor je met je rug de spijlen door het matras voelde. Daarnaast deed de oven het niet. We weten de reden niet, maar we sliepen er twee nachten en in beide nachten ging het brandalarm af tussen 6 en 7 's ochtends. Geen uitleg of iets gehoord van het personeel, dus nog steeds geen idee waarom we zo vroeg werden gewekt.

Skvělá lokalita. V docházkové vzdálenosti od hlavních památek. Kousek od tramvaje, která jede přímo na letiště. Velký, prostorný, čistý apartmán. Možnost úschovy zavazadel před/po ubytování.

Venue location was fine for visiting the main Edinburgh attractions. Room was very tidy & spacious with a comfortable bed.

The apartment I had was at street level which unfortunately was quite noisy due to passing traffic & pedestrians. Sound proofing from the apartment above us was terrible, every footstep was easily heard as well as the upper appartment's floorboards being extremely "creaky". Air conditioning was non existent & was definitely required as the room was so warm my partner & I had to sleep on top of the bed clothes. Opening the windows to allow air circulation was not practical due to the noise from the road / street. The main thing which greatly dissapointed us about our stay at Edinburgh City Suites was a situation we encountered involving an etiquette / manners issue with the duty manager of the premises - My partner & I had just unpacked & settled into our apartment when the door of the main room was opened & the duty manager walked straight into our room. This greatly upset my partner as it was as though the privacy of our room had been abused. When this incident was discussed with the manager at the time he entered our room he offered a sincere, humble apology, stating he did knock before entering & we hadn't heard him. Regardless of his knocking before entering he was not invited into our room yet he still proceded to enter it.....POOR SHOW!!

The locations was nice

Die Wohnung war sehr schön und sauber. Liegt sehr nah am Heymarket, von wo aus man alles sehr gut erreichen kann. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Really clean apartment in a secure and safe feeling building. In a nice location, not too close to the centre to be really busy/loud but close enough to be able to walk everywhere. Kitchen facilities really good, ideal for us having a young baby with us.

We were on the ground floor and you could hear people coming and going but luckily this didn’t disturb us at night time.

La posizione molto buona. Attorno c'era qualsiasi tipo di attività.. negozi, panetteria, supermarket. Molto bello il fatto di avere due ambienti, uno con il divano e frigo e uno con il letto e il bagno.

Abbiamo trovato dei capelli non nostri sul letto. In bagno non c'era nulla dove appendere gli asciugamani e il bagno molto rumoroso. Avendo la stanza al piano terra, dalla finestra della camera ci potevano vedere i passanti.. metterei qualcosa di più oscurante

This was a perfect location for my family's stay on a visit to Edinburgh and Murrayfield. The hosts kept us informed of everything we needed to know from the minute I booked earlier in the year. This was a birthday present for my husband and daughter and when they arrived, there was a Happy Birthday banner which was a lovely touch. It was easy to get the access codes for the relevant doors and they were delighted with the suite which consisted of kitchen, bedroom / living room and bathroom. We will definitely book at this location next time we are in the area.

Si no sabes inglés no reserves este apartamento. No entregan los codigos de entrada a no ser que llames en la misma puerta del edificio. Ni por correo, ni por booking, ni llamando a media hora de llegar, solo los entregan en la misma puerta y por telefono, aun haciendo el check in online que piden. Te quitan 100€ de fianza que no se ven a la hora de reservar, y toda la estancia te la pasas viendo emails y carteles amenazando que cualquier cosa que rompas o ensucies seran 100-200-500€ de multa. La cama ni cambian las sabanas de la anterior estancia, hay pelos y suciedad. Nunca recomendaría este apartamento a nadie. La amabilidad de toda Escocia brilla por su ausencia, se nota que no lo son.

Stayed here recently and, unfortunately, it didn’t feel worth the £100 price — more like £70 at best. The room décor is very outdated and in need of a refresh. Check-in was more complicated than expected, with three different codes needed just to get in. The spare sofa bed wasn’t made up on arrival, which was disappointing. Cleanliness was also an issue — the bedsheets and pillows didn’t feel clean, and there was mould around the shower beading (see photos). The location is good, which is probably the main positive. One thing to be aware of is the £100 deposit taken about 10 days before arrival. After check-out, I had to chase to get it refunded, which wasn’t ideal and felt unnecessarily inconvenient. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely not great value for money.

It was a nice experience, the staff was very nice and the location is great for city exploring. There are a lot of nice cafes and bars around. We found in the suite everything we needed.

We were disturbed by the noises of our neighbours in the night, the walls are apparently very thin. And the floor in our room wasn't clean, I had my socks dirty in 5 minutes of walking there.
