Inn and Out Plus Craighall

The location is in a secure area, and close to everywhere we needed to go.

Stained bedding and towels. No complimentary coffee station or bathroom soap. We also had to ask for toilet paper. There is enough dining seating as some of the chairs were broken. The primary door is broken. The second on-suite bathroom shower door was broken. Out of the 3 tvs only 2 worked after having to ask for the correct plug. Not one of the tv remotes worked. The wifi kept on going on and off. The kitchen was basically unusable as there aren't enough cutlery, plates, cups or glasses for the amount of guests the room accommodates. There's no soap, sponges or kitchen towels to do the dishes with. The photos were definitely a few years ago as the place is currently in dire straits of maintenance. Unfortunately we can't recommend this place at all. As for a Boutique Hotel, I would rather call this a overnight motel/lodge.

The location.

It was dirty, stains on linen, the walls were patchwork, furniture falling apart, toilet seat doesn’t even match the toilet. Appalling. Actually checked out shortly after checking in and logged a cancellation and refund with Booking.com.

The tranquility of the location. It's quiet and peaceful.

The units are not as equipped as stated

It accommodated us as family very comfortably. The rooms we spacious

all was well

No bathroom carpets Old damaged towels Broken furniture. Rooms look nothing like the puctures inside Remote of tv doesn't work Bedlamps has no plug to plug in Curtains are torn

The hotel is conveniently located close to Johannesburg and Sandton. Spacious rooms and large beds. Parking is available for hotel guests on the hotel premises. A swimming pool is also available.

Rooms and facilities will benefit from some repairs, in particular in the bathroom area. WiFi stability was not always good.

I loved the fact that it was homely and warm and my kids were happy to be there too...

Cleanliness... Please good people we had to start from scratch cleaning the house furniture that was full of dust and not today's dust but one that you could see it was sitting there for ages, the floors we couldn't walk barefoot and the balcony flowers were full with cigarette buds, the table outside would have appreciated a wipe from a cloth since you are expecting guests and the pool area was supposed to have a red tape from the outdoor furniture to the pool it was not up to standard. I will not talk about the tiles of the bathroom because that's now renovation and a complete topic altogether.

Nothing! Run down place! Nothing like the pictures! Could not stay! Left and dis not check in! Dodge characters and no toilet Seat in the unit! Reception also very rude and just pulling his shoulders up- not trying to sort the problem! Left and was promised that i will get refunded! We will wait and see!

Everything! Rude Dodge place…. Huge question mark-seem like a different business is done here!

I'm not happy 😕 at all you said when I booked you have breakfast but I don't get even a sucet of sugar your savis are poor crc and I need my refund for my break fast otherwise I will make you trend cz I was getting cold 🥶 and go 🚶‍♀️ and ask for blanket because you don't have it even a both soap no this thing of yours must go forward what kind of hotel is this ni blanket,no sugar even a small of bath soup where is the microwaves Do something guys otherwise you will regret your self

I like your staff

Horrible stay

No extra blankets we had to move the bed next to the air-conditioning to stay warm bathroom shower was still under construction

Loved the space that the apartment had and was in a great location.

The maintenance need is a lot. Whilst the bathrooms were beautiful the tiles in the shower were missing so it was painful to stand on. The kitchen wasn't equipped at all as there was only 2 teaspoons, 1 fork, and 3 plates. The dinning room chairs could not be sat on as they were so wobbly and about to break. BUT the gentleman is reception was absolutely great

They do not offer breakfast but on the poster it states breakfast is offered !

Staff was friendly n welcoming

There was no fridge in my room

Nothing the room I booked booking.com I was told I cannot get because it was occupied booking. Com is lying.

They told me they don’t supply shower gel any more you must bring your own WFK where is the place like that in this earth 😭

The hotel is located in area that is tightly secured

There was no handwash in the bathrooms

The location was great for our trip as it was within 10 minutes of all our meetings and events. The beds were ok. In the bathrooms there was no soap provided, no bathmats, no side table lights, no milk provided. There were tea and coffee sachets provided but no milk, no water. Also, no waters provided. Breakfast was included but there was no coffee, there was no condiments provided and no servettes. The breakfast was not great. The facility is great but in need of some maintenance and upkeep.

Breakfast was great but it would have been nice if they had more options, I feel like we were limited in terms of breakfast. For location, I give them 5 star, the hotel is in a secure beautiful environment, close to shopping mall.

Our room didn't meet our expectations, it was just ok. It was not what we saw on Booking.com. It didn't have much details, our dining area was not giving. Their bathroom was spacious and comfortable. We did not have all the facilities, no iron, microwave, mini bar fridge and their aircon was not working.

It’s peaceful

Nothing

The property is conveniently located near Sandton CBD and close to the Conference Centre I attended. The front of the hotel features a beautiful garden and well-maintained swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and warm, with hot water readily available for bathing.

The rooms are extremely outdated and in urgent need of complete renovations. I was deeply disappointed upon entering—the floor tiles were visibly dirty, worn, and stained throughout the room. While the sheets were white, they had noticeable brown stains, which was unsettling and left me wondering whether they had been washed at all. The bathroom was equally unacceptable. The shower mosaic was coated with old, brownish grime. Although two large towels were provided, one had ants crawling on it. The toilet had clearly not been cleaned after the last use- it still had visible fecal marks, and the toilet roll was finished. I had to go to reception to request a replacement, and only one roll was provided. Security was also a concern- there were no burglar bars on the back windows, including the large bathroom window. The curtain rail on the back window was dirty and partially torn. The dining experience was equally disappointing. The menu had very limited options, and there was no coffee available in the kitchen. When I asked, I was told to use the coffee in my room.

Breakfast was very good.

My room was not clean and there was no soap in the bathroom.

Poor breakfast. There wasnt even tea and coffee in the room

They must provide enough coffee sachets. My wife only drinks tea and it wasn't there. At breakfast (very poor) there wasn't tea or coffee either. No shampoo in the shower. There was very little soap provided for 3 of us

Nothing

The place was dirty and not smelling fresh

The cooking staff and breakfast was lovely Stunning pool side and front view

TV did not work No complementary hand wash soap Very old style curtains, some can't open The gate makes a lot of noise The building structure looks neglected

I felt very safe throughout my stay, which made the experience comfortable and stress-free. The staff were amazing, friendly, professional, and always helpful. Breakfast was great, with good quality and variety, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I also appreciated how kind and respectful the other guests were; everyone I interacted with was welcoming.

The WiFi was extremely slow during my stay. It was unreliable to the point where I couldn’t properly receive work messages or emails. For anyone needing internet access for work or communication, this is a significant drawback, and the WiFi service would definitely benefit from an upgrade to faster speeds.

O facto de terem duvidado se eu havia feito o previo pagamento ou nao.... e, ate as 6.30 horas que fiz o check-out, nao havia pequeno almoco

Deducted my money no invoice I send email failed to respond I will never advise my friends to book on line

Lovely central location in a quiet area.

A lack of care, amenities, maintenance, management, client service, and finishing touches.

The location of the hotel was really nice - close to shopping centers and restaurants. The breakfast that was made was delicious and I really appreciated that the staff were able to make amendments accordingly. The pool was amazing - we had a great time swimming and lounging around

The aircon didn't work - staff explained that there was a storm that affected this and that it would be resolved during our stay (which it wasn't) - although I do appreciated that a fan was provided to our room. The toilet seat in our bathroom didn't match the rest of the unit (it was a round seat for a square unit and it didn't fit properly and it was very uncomfortable to sit on

Rooms good size , good bed, good linen

Clearly not maintained No bath mats No toiletries to shower No milk for coffee in room No catch on bathroom door and no lock No loo paper to communal loo No towels on check in but later arrived ‘

I like the Area

1.Breakfast 2.the place need maintenance otherwise it is so beautiful 3.they don't have even hand soap

Only the pool area.

Dirty room, dirty linen, dirty towels, can't stand inside the shower it's like needles under the feet. No drinking water, old wardrobe. Dinning area dirty. TV was not working. It was a disaster.

Comodida

Do breakfast achei muito pobre para o preço

1. The staff is trying their best, and have a great attitude. 2. The place is in a safe location and is itself also well secured. 3. Nice and clean pool

1. The bathroom doors are very hard to open and close 2. The shower tiles are peeling off in room 5 and hurt the feet when standing to shower. 3. There are no curtains in the bathrooms. 4. Room 4 does not have the A/C remote. 5. The DSTV decoders are clumsily placed on top of the TVs instead of on solid platforms. 6. The WiFi only works on the top floor. 7. The reception furniture is dirty and old. 8. The place is slowly dilapidating, though it has a great potential

Good to take pictures outside.

The photos look appealing but once you arrive everything is old.

Was very clean.

No smart tv I was so bored by the Dstv they need to change that. Also tiles in the shower needs to be be fixed it was hurting to shower there.

Location.

There was no bottled water for guest No water/juice /tea coffee because they didn’t have milk was served with breakfast No bacon at breakfast same as milk waiting for delivery All round disappointment bottled water is Essential even if it’s for sale lack there of was disappointing

Breakfast was okay,

Place was not clean

The place seems beautiful on the pictures but inside it looks untidy and makes one feel very uncomfortable. The experience was not at all pleasant for me, i couldn’t wait for the morning so i can bath and go.

Very quiet place ocation not too much difficult to get to town

It does not look like te photos

Nothing

Everything, the rooms, the cleanliness, the staff, the “breakfast” and showing there’s a resturant whereas there isn’t and no options to choose what to eat @the breakfast..

The stuff was friendly

The place is deteriorating. The rooms aren't clean. Breakfast was quiet limited

Only the garden

Reception area was dark and eerie. The receptionist was not friendly at all!! Room was murky. Floors dirty. Bed looked like it was made in haste Bathroom was disgusting with mould in and around the shower. No towels for use The walls were dirty and unkempt The closet was mouldy with old painting packed inside it

The space is enough , even the view is nice

Floor tiles , and shower tiles

It’s in Alex so it’s a no for me

It’s in Alexander township and nothing clean about it

Nothing

Everything

Smiling staff and always willing to help

It seems they were only 4 pax working there, 2 at a time, to take care of the whole area and doing all tasks. The bar is useless, we can't even by something ! Coffee machine and AC in our room broken, we have been able to change room with all stuff "working". No bath mat, had to ask for it everyday. No coffee or tea at the breakfast, machine broken and no tea available. To sum up, it was quite a joke, huge potential there but in my opinion there's a major lack of staff. When we booked online 3 months ago, it was rated more than 8, just before we left, it was around 5 will only negative comments. Maybe it changed ownership? Bed comfortable Lighting issue Big room, lots of space

The swimming pool was clean There was warm water Breakfast was fast and enjoyable The cleaners were keeping the place clean

1.The old furniture should be changed 2.The tiles has stains , looks bad even if they are clean. 3.The tv stopped playing at some time 4. The toilet had no toilet spray 5.white towels looked dirty and one had stains

Location and the accommodative staff

The floors were not very clean, breakfast was incomplete, we arrived in the kitchen at 9, and we were told that only eggs and sausages were left, for us.

Big rooms

Broken handles

Outside environment

Improve breakfast

Spacious for the whole family

Nothing

I left immediately

Dirty, Unsavoury guests hanging outside my room at the pool, cold & unwelcoming, everything felt tired and nothing worked

The rooms were spacious. A very quite place, ideal for someone who want peace and quite

The rooms were not clean, old peeling furniture. It was really depressing.

Nothing Incompetent staff and rude manager

Called to request changes to my booking on 05/08/25, reception confirmed booking was changed but changes were all incorrect. Upon checking in on the requested date I was told I do not have a booking and should call bookings.com they cannot assist me. I was left stranded, mind you this was after 23:00 and payments were done long time ago. The manager could not even apologies for the error on their end. He was just rude which explains why staff is also incompetent. Booking was for 1 day but their system had two days which I do not know where amendments were coming from.

They must upgrade their bed, esp the headboard and the bathroom needs a revamp too , everything is old

Their outside chairs are old

Property upstairs there was renovations so during the day it was noisy and the ground floor really need the same treatment the upstairs rooms are getting, overall the property on the outside it’s clean

The shower floor tiles are finished is like u walking on top of umhlanga rocks in Durban bare footed I had to buy flops so I can stand in the shower. One of the cleaning lady had a very rude attitude and the towels she gave us was old and torn out wasn’t user friendly they even ran out of tea bags on our second day of stay and on our check out day same story we couldn’t have tea due to tea bags ran out😀😀😀😀😀

The place is really nice.

Nothing.

everything was great. I have nothing bad to say about the place. Staff was great and he assisted us to get to the concert. Very friendly people there. Breakfast was good. I would book again

nothing bad to say
