Everyone was so nice and helpful. Hotel was amazing, pool, and bar. Great location.
Nothing
This hotel is wonderful clean, spacious and convenience to walking the island exceptionally with a handicap person! Staff was wonderful from the valet parking staff front desk, staff cleaning staff anyone you encountered! 10. Stars will be back.
Loved everything!
Location to the Island, convenient valet service.
Our first stay here really enjoyed it. Valet is the greatest. Love the balconies.
It was a very long walk from front desk, unnecessarily, the desk clerk could have shared shortcuts.
The convenience, cleanliness, and friendly staff
Everything, decor, location, and much more
Yes
The cleanliness, the workers. The music they played.
When ringing up snacks, you can't change your mind.
Great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants, dinner shows. Short drive to Gatlinburg rooms roomy.
The pool was small and not as nice as other margaritavilles I've visited.
The location is awesome. Love the balcony overlooking the fountain.
Bed is to soft
Everything. It is close to everything!
we stayed on river side, so beautiful and very quiet.

Clean and the island
Nothing
The beds are amazing. Love you get a lot of pillows on each bed and they are so nice a fluffy. It’s very convenient
No breakfast is available and none on the island either besides Paula Dean.
Pool and hot tub
Miserable to get in and out of parking lot, had to pay for self parking which makes no sense, walked forever to get to the room, confusing, miserable miserable miserable parking lot. Never staying again bc of parking/clutter.
Location was great, staff was friendly and wonderful to interact with
The room was hot. We had to buy a fan to cool it off.
Ok location.
The room had an overwhelming smell of cleaning supply or chlorine. There was a clear lack of communication between the front desk staff and the onsite restaurant staff. The restaurant served our child a completely uncooked chicken tender at a dangerous level.

Location is perfect. Staff is super friendly. Can’t wait to go back.
Not a single thing.
Great location on The Island, and very close to Dollywood Theme Park
The Island is so popular now, that it can get slammed with people. We had Valet parking, and literally it made the difference, getting in and out of the hotel.
The whole experience. The hotel itself was amazing. Location was phenomenal, it was like an all-inclusive resort (minus the paid-for meals). Restaurants, shops, and entertainment were all within a short walk. I never had to leave for anything but the initial run to the Publix across the street for a few necessities.
Limited access to the thermostat. I am very hot-natured and was not able to turn the temp down enough to cool me off at night.
Everything went smoothly from check in to check out! The property itself is beautiful, with plenty of amenities on site! The fountain show views from the rooftop bar is a must see!
Would have had a 5 star review on everything, but there was one thing stopping it, the A/c. As a middle aged, perimenopause woman, not being able to control the a/c come night time like to killed me. Thank God the maintenance and front desk were wonderful and brought us a box fan( which helped a lot!) awesome hotel other than that. We will be back!
Room was right on Pigeon Forge Island. We could walk to all of the activities on the island. Everything off the island was only a few miles away.
No complaints
We checked in on a Sunday, and the process was quick and easy. The complimentary margaritas and coupon booklet were a nice surprise and a great way to start our stay. We decided to use the valet service, which I’ll touch on later. We stayed in a two-room suite overlooking the fountain, and the location was fantastic. The suite had two balconies—one facing the fountain and one on the back side of the building. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the view, and people-watch. The bathrooms were clean and nicely appointed, but they could really use a few hooks for hanging wet towels and swimsuits. The bedroom with the two twin beds did not have direct air conditioning, so it became very warm and stuffy. After an uncomfortable first night, we figured out that leaving the bedroom door open allowed enough airflow to make it comfortable but we sacrificed privacy since the door needed to stay open. The living room also could have benefited from one more comfortable chair, but since we weren’t in the room much, it wasn’t a major issue. The kitchenette was a nice bonus for keeping drinks and snacks cold. The rooftop pool was one of our favorite amenities, and the margaritas were excellent. We also ate at the hotel restaurant, and the food exceeded our expectations. The only major disappointment was the valet service. The convenience of valet parking was great, but the way it was handled was concerning. Most of the time our vehicle was brought up promptly, but it was routinely left running with the keys inside and unlocked. At no point during our stay were we ever asked to verify our claim ticket or room number before receiving our vehicle. One afternoon, we looked down from our balcony and noticed our vehicle sitting in the valet area with the engine running, even though we had never requested it. When we went downstairs, we were told it had been sitting there that way for about an hour. We asked them to take it back. While nothing happened to our vehicle, the lack of security and accountability was disappointing and is something that should be addressed. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The location, fountain-view suite, rooftop pool, restaurant, and overall atmosphere made for a great experience. We would definitely stay here again, but we sincerely hope management reviews and improves the valet operation, as it was the one aspect that did not meet the standard of an otherwise excellent hotel.
This property was fantastic. The rooms were so nice and clean. the bed was very comfortable. We had double queens, and there were dimmer lights and nightstands on both sides of the bed, which was super convenient. The shower was a stand up and had two shower heads. Food at all restaurants was quick and we never had to wait for a table. The rooftop pool was awesome and stays open till 11:00 pm. Kids wanted to pay cornhole, but the bean bags were missing, but not a big deal. The hotel is conveniently located to everything and even though it said 11:00pm closing of places on the island, most were still open (like the arcade) and past 11:00. My only gripe would be that we had called for housekeeping to come get our garbage and give us new bags, but they never came. I just found a worker and got them from them. If there is a Margarita resort in any of my travel destinations, I most definitely will be staying.
Love this place and will definitely be back We have been here before and love the balcony facing the dancing water. It is so relaxing.
We have stayed here so many times and loved it each time. However, I recently realized we only loved it for the convenience, not for the hotel. It really has nothing more than the valet parking (which we pay for), and a cool view of the island/fountain/river. There is no included breakfast or anything other than some water at the door, the Margaritaville perks was down (while we spent over $1,000 to stay there), we had to ask for towels because our room was never touched while we were there, and then we called for the car and it took over 30 minutes for valet to return our car to us- with a 4 year old in tow, that really sucked. I think this was our last trip there and will now be staying elsewhere on our 4 trips to PF and Gatlinburg each year.
We are repeat guests and plan to continue ! Rooms are so clean and fresh, beds so comfortable, awesome staff from valet to check out and all in between. Everything is right at your fingertips and we never even moved the car. Attention to detail is in everything ! My only recommendations or suggestions are that 1) I’d love to see more cold items added to menu at Fins. A cold chicken salad or meat and cheese and fruit plate , or chips w/ guacamole or queso would be so good for poolside food since you can’t bring in your own food. 2) I feel like for the price , a complimentary , small grab n go breakfast should be offered ie; yogurt and fruit, muffin, coffee. Many other area hotels offer this and If the little motels can do it, certainly Margaritaville can! And last suggestion, 3) the pool maintenance wasn’t as usual this time. Water was fairly clean and safe for sure but it’s usually sparkling and floaty debris kept netted out. Was consistently a bit cloudy and debris this stay. Maybe the pool employees were out sick because it’s definitely not the norm! Still overall 9/10 and we will be back again.
A great place to stay on your vacation. So much to do right there at Margaritaville. Shops, restaurants, rocking chairs to sit and enjoy local musicians, and watch the lighted fountain. There are lots of activities to entertain the whole family. There is a pool, rides for children and adults. There is lots to see and do in Pigeon Forge if you stay longer, There is plenty of parking, you can have valet parking for $25.00 a day or park your self for $10.00 a day. This is our “Go To” vacation place.
Margaritaville Island Hotel was a pleasant surprise. The property is much larger than it appears from the outside, and our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The location is one of its biggest strengths, right in the heart of The Island with shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the dancing fountains just outside the hotel. It’s also conveniently located near Dollywood and many other Pigeon Forge attractions. Pros * Spacious, clean rooms * Daily housekeeping service * Balcony with a view where we could watch the nightly fireworks * In-room refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron, and ironing board * When I discovered our room didn’t have a hair dryer, one was delivered within minutes after I called * Rooftop pool is small but a nice bonus * Concierge was friendly and helpful Cons * The toilet was surprisingly loud and seemed to refill frequently, so we kept the bathroom door closed. * The dual showerhead is a great feature, but it would be even better if both showerheads could run at the same time. * Music from The Island can be heard from the room, which may bother light sleepers or those who go to bed early. * Housekeeping staff could be loud in the hallways in the morning, making it difficult to sleep in. * Parking is in a nearby outdoor lot rather than attached to the hotel, requiring a short walk. It’s manageable but less convenient in the rain or when carrying luggage/bags. * Traffic entering The Island can back up, especially during busy times, and loading or unloading luggage at the hotel entrance can be challenging due to congestion. * The hotel restaurant doesn’t currently offer online ordering, which would be a convenient addition. * I was disappointed that my room upgrade benefit through the perks program wasn’t honored but Complimentary general parking was offered instead, which was appreciated but didn’t feel equivalent to the room upgrade. * There wasn’t an app or an easy way to manage the reservation electronically, and I never received a pre-arrival confirmation or welcome email. * Most staff members were professional, though not especially warm or engaging. Overall: Despite a few inconveniences, we really enjoyed our stay. The excellent location, spacious rooms, and overall atmosphere outweighed the negatives. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel that’s within walking distance of everything The Island has to offer.
I love the cleanliness, the staff, and the pool.
It was all great
The staff was excellent, room was wonderful (clean and comfortable)!
Everything was great!!
The room next to us were smokers and we couldn’t enjoy the balcony or festivities do to it . It was an overnight stay and we told the front desk the next morning but they obviously was not concerned about it or they would of offered some type of reprieve for a room that we spent $450 on .
It was very clean. I love the bathroom and the shower and especially the patio overlooking courtyard view.
I didn’t like how I would suck it into going to that timesheet thing I got free stuff, but it was high-pressure. I was lied to. I was told it wasn’t high-pressure and the manager there when I told him I wasn’t lying was a jerk.
Close to a lot of entertainment
Long walk from room to front door or front desk
Being so close to everything pretty much like it's own town.
The walk to the room was really long
Check-in, room, service and access accessibility to activities and food was excellent
Nothing
Location was great and beds were comfortable.
Room wasn’t ready for our check in time. Were never able to reach anyone by phone from inside the room. Would just ring when trying to call for anything. When you went down to the front desk to request anything there was always an excuse as to why nobody answered the phone. One time I went down to request something and had to go back down a second time since it took several hours.
Love the location! Perfect to the island and all the activities around it . Great balcony view! Larger room and bathroom
Some disadvantages to having a village view is the room never gets really dark. And the background music doesn't turn off till 11pm.
The location is great. The property was clean, and well-kept
The air conditioning in the room would not get below 74 degrees no matter what temperature or fan speed the unit was set to. The temperature of the room was uncomfortable, but the absolute worse part, however, was the sneaky timeshare recruiter seated at the concierge desk in the lobby. At check-in the front desk directed me to the concierge before my room. The very nice woman seated there gave us several free passes to attractions around the island and told us that if there was anything we wanted to do while we were there that she could help us save 80% or more off of ticket prices. After we settled in we decided on an attraction that we wanted to visit and she said she could comp us tickets for free! She claimed to just need to get a little info, so I shared some basic stuff with her. Then, She told me she needed a small deposit to hold the reservation but it would be refunded when the event happened. I was under the impression the “event” was the attraction she booked for us. After she ran my card she informed me of the two hour timeshare presentation I was obligated to attend or I would forfeit the attraction tickets and the deposit. I was disappointed that this company would treat its paying customers this way. If the product they were offering was such a good value, they would not need to bait and switch their paying customers into participating. I did end up going and sacrificing over two hours of my vacation to honor the agreement I was hoodwinked into. More than 50 of us were herded into a large conference room and keep there for longer than we agreed to, and we were accosted by multiple high pressure salespeople to participate in their program. I can’t imagine a small fraction of the people in the room were convinced, but it is a shame that such a nice facility and such a well-established brand would compromise their own integrity so significantly by attempting to prey on their paying customers.
Awesome great view and food and drinks and nice pool I look forward to coming there again thank you margaritaville
Robert and the front staff were very welcoming.
Close to everything
Room was very hot
What a great place to stay in a Huge Thanks to all the staff a wonderful place very clean and great location the staff are very friendly and always smiling A huge Thanks to Jeff the GM he was so friendly and generous also Michelle with the front desk was so sweet and Jose with Fins bar was very good as well Me and my family appreciate everything you guys did with us definitely we will be back
Fantastic location. Loved the balcony on our room and the rooftop pool. Comfy beds. Lovely employees.
If you go to bed early, choose a room with a river view. The shops below don’t close until 11 so it can be noisy. We didn’t mind it at all, as we liked the vibe.
The set up was fantastic. The kindness of all staff members was wonderful. Staff answered all questions we had on various days and did whatever they could to fill our requests. Valet parking worked well and Robert and others were fun to talk with.
There was no area nearby to accommodate service dog needs such as going to the bathroom.
The staff was great facility was clean. Liked the location and lucked out on the rate.
Having to pay for parking and this wasnt valet as it was extra. Onwas told parking was free after i booked the room And our room was way at the other end. Kind of disappointed at first thought we had the fountain view but it was the village side. Otherwise it was nice. Other than the parking. Why would someone have too pay for it when other places are free.
The room was awesome and the location was perfect. We enjoyed our afternoon spent at the rooftop pool and bar. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Not sure why we had to pay to park our car when the island parking lots were free.
The hotel was nice. Love the overall look of the hotel. The whole hotel smelled amazing. Beds were very comfortable The rooms were very large and lots of counter space. We have a room overlooking the river. But it wasn’t a very good view. The bathroom has some hair on the baseboards Wishing it has a breakfast included for the price. Also needs more free weights in the gym.

Our room overlooked the village near one of the dinosaurs. Very spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom very large. Shower was amazing. Traveled with our small dog and hotel is very pet friendly. Pool and hot tub are great.
Ive stayed here many times and my only complaint is there is no good grassy area close to the hotel for your pet to potty. We walked her down towards the parking lot each time but sometimes shes so little and old in the mornings its hard for her to hold her pee and could only make it to the flower beds out front. I, as a pet owner, felt bad about that but my little old girl had a hard time with that but I will stay here again.

Everything! The location and staff were amazing!

It’s where all the action is located
The parking is very far from the property and it seemed a lot of the parking reserved for guest was being occupied by staff
The room was big and we loved it not having carpet!
It wasn’t that we didn’t like but we do like that Gatlinburg has multiple areas for couples away from the crowd. Like hammocks, multiple fire pits and seating overlooking the river.
It was the perfect place. I would rather go there than Disney World. Less crowded, cheaper, better shopping. Staff were super friendly. We had to Leave early due to a family emergency and they were very cooperative. We are already talking about going back next year.

I was told there are 4 Margaritaville Hotels on the property when we tried checking into the wrong hotel, so pay attention to which one you are booking. My family and I stayed at the Island Hotel. My first impression was take your Adderall before you go because there is so much going in the strip outside the hotel, it's hard to take it all in! It's like a big carnival outside, but the rooms are quiet. My biggest (and only) complaint is the scent pumped into the rooms was overwhelming and made me nauseous. I'm really sensitive to the smell of Zep cleaning products and it smelled a lot like that. I eventually got used to it and only noticed it when I walked back into the room after being outside PRO: THERE'S A STARBUCKS IN THE HOTEL! Valet service and a bell hop is available. The Valets were considerate and had our AC on max cooling everytime we got in the car. There's a roof top bar and pool with a great view of the attractions. The reason for our trip was to go to DollyWood, but I wish we didn't already buy our tickets there because attractions right outside the hotel were much better! I highly recommend going to the SkyFly: Soar America theater. It's is similar to the Soaring ride at Disney. We also had a lot of fun playing the 7D Dark Ride Adventure. RESTAURANTS; We had dinner at Timberwood Grill: It's located in the strip and was the best restaurant out of the 3 we dined at. I wish we would have eaten there first. Drinks were great. We also had dinner at Margaritaville Restaurant (not inside the Hotel). If you want a cocktail, bring your ID. They check it even if you are elderly. They charge a lot for the cocktails so you can take home a souvenir cup that you'll probably never use again. Even though the restaurant has the same name as the hotel, they aren't affiliated with each other so you can't charge anything to your room. All things said, the food was pretty good and the margaritas were excellent. We had breakfast at Paula Deen's. I know she's known for her down-home, southern cooking and putting lots of butter in her recipes which usually makes everything delicious. But everything we ordered was extremely rich, even the scrambled eggs.. The hashbrown casserole tasted like it was baked in loads of butter and sour cream. Everything was tasty, just know what your signing up for!
it was clean and the staff was outstanding
smoke free
Everything was perfect!
Nothing not to like
The location, so convenient to everything you need.
Very clean
We chose to have the Riverview because we like to sit outside when we got to our room, Our balcony only had one chair I requested another chair. I was originally told they had no other chairs to give us, that they had no extras and all the rooms were reserved so they could not take one from the other balconies. It wouldn’t be fair to the other guest. which at that point I raised my concerns that I paid just like everyone else and I want my other chair like everyone else was entitled to, after talking with a few people. I finally got my chair four hours later.
As always, had the best time here! The ease of access to everything is amazing. The rooftop pool and bar is the best around. The people that work there are always helpful and friendly and make sure to do everything possible they can to make your stay perfect!
Loved it
The hotel was great, it's location makes it easy to have something to do in the evening. The only recommendatioin I have is the valet parking. When picking up my vehicle, not once did the valet's check my ticket number to make sure I was indeed the owner of the vehicle as I got into my running car. Where I am from - this makes for an easily stolen vehicle.
Everything was amazing loves it!
Not a thing
I was disappointed at first with the unclear protocol for the use of the EV charger, but I was contacted by a staff and they did whatever they could to make it right. After all, I really enjoyed the stay and the property is close to everything. I was surprised how quiet the room was considering the amount of people around the area. I highly recommend this location.

I enjoyed the location with the ease of accessing the island.
When we arrived for my 50th birthday weekend it was so hot. When we made it to our room the air conditioner was not cooling the room. After call the front desk 5 times and no answer, we walked to the front desk. They were busy so we understood not answering our call even though it was a little inconvenient. They sent a maintenance man to our room. He was very kind and apologized and informed us that's how the whole hotel was due to we're the air came out and the air intake was in a poor location sucking the cool air back into the intake not allowing to keep the room cool. We had chosen a room where we could enjoy a view. He told us we needed to keep the windows closed up and told us it would cool down around 4am. He asked for house keeping to bring us a fan. 2 hours later still no fan. Again after several calls my husband had to again go back down to finally recieve a fan. We would of never of made it without it. Shower seat was slimy. Had to clean shower before use, baseboards covered in dust, 1 ply toilet paper, beds very hard. Went to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Ripped my toe open getting out of the hot tub becauseof a sharp edge on the step. Bled all over the pool area which was very embarrassing and painful. Decided it was time for a margarita. My husband and I each got a frozen Margarita in a souvenir cup. I get we are in a tourist area but $52 for 2 drinks is awful. Needless to say we only had 1. We ate in the Fins restaurant located in the hotel the 1st night after a rough start and drive and we were wiping our faces with water because there was no air on in there and 94 degrees outside. We asked our waitress about the air situation and she said they hardly run b it because they are cheap and don't run it much as she is ringing in sweat. This is suppose to be a high end hotel with apparently great income by their rates on rooms and everything else and can only provide 1 ply toilet paper and poor air conditioning.
We have stayed in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg several times, but this was our first time at a Margaritaville resort. I can’t say enough good things. The facility is so clean and smells amazing. Beds & pillows- 10/10. Pool- 10/10. Fins Bar- 10/10. We did the valet parking and they are the nicest people and were quick when retrieving our truck. Every person we interacted with was friendly and polite. Prime location and worth the money. We will definitely be back when we can stay longer.
Loved, loved, loved everything about it!! Location was perfect , room was beautiful, and vibe was my favorite!
Top place
We love the location and convenience. We enjoy the rooftop pool and bar. The atmosphere is so relaxing along with many different things to do.
It would be nice if every bathroom had hand rails at the toilet.

The room was awesome as we had our own balcony overlooking the fountain. The Room was beautiful and very clean. We really enjoyed the stay along with the great and friendly staff.
It was a little bit chilly and really did not access the balcony but that was not Margaritaville's fault at all.
