The spa facilities were weird - really crowded and all heated even when it was 100 degrees out. We didn’t realize we couldn’t bring our baby even to the pool.

The property is beautiful and such a great escape from the city.

El lugar es muy lindo. Es una propiedad en las cercanías de Fiumicino. Si vas a Roma quizá no es la mejor opción, pero nosotros necesitábamos hacer noche cerca del aeropuerto y realmente fue una muy buena experiencia.

De locatie, dicht bij het vliegveld. En de omgeving is mooi.

De foto's van de spa zien er mooi uit, maar bedenk er vooral héél veel mensen bij. De spa is ook toegankelijk voor mensen uit de omgeving en daardoor ontzettend druk. Van rust, luxe of exclusiviteit is weinig sprake. De kamer is klein voor de hoge prijs en het restaurant was vol dus we konden er niet meer eten. De oplossing van het hotel: €18 extra betalen voor roomservice en eten op een kamer waar niet eens twee stoelen staan, óf op eigen kosten een taxi nemen want er is geen restaurant of supermarkt in de buurt. We hebben uiteindelijk op ons bed twee bordjes lasagne gegeten voor 54 euro. Voor ons totaal geen luxe ervaring en absoluut het geld niet waard.

Breakfast and lunch was wonderful. Staff was friendly and professional. The property is amazing and a lovely retreat.

All the pools were the same tepid temp, we were surprised there were no actual hot tubs above 36 degrees.

Proximity to the airport and the spa facilities are excellent.

Il ristorante per cenare chiude troppo presto ( alle 21 è il termine ultimo per sedersi e ordinare) e durante il giorno c’è un affluenza smisurata di persone esterne all’hotel che vengono ad usufruire della zona benessere…questo rende l’ambiente parecchio caotico e poco esclusivo rispetto alla categoria dell’hotel

La cortesia e la professionalità dello staff, la pulizia della struttura, la location, la qualità del cibo servito sia nel ristorante che a colazione.

Il letto. Durante la notte si sono sganciate alcune doghe delle rete. L'assenza di un kit per igiene orale.

We stayed here one day/ night while we waited to go on our flight home from Rome , what a beautiful experience ! This hotel was absolutly beautiful , charming. The spa , pools and relaxation rooms were exceptional and so fun and relaxing after traveling through Europe two weeks prior . Customer service and food - excellent ! What a place !

Spa - Excellent. Massage - perfect. Lunch - delicious. Room - outstanding. Value - Excellent. Shuttle - delayed but adequate. Staff - above and beyond.

Only one thing: The shuttle made me wait at FCO for nearly an hour after three phone calls. Maybe it was a glitch but my experience was not up to the standards they set at the spa/hotel.

Gli ospiti dell’hotel, che pagano un prezzo per un albergo a 5 stelle, sono drasticamente penalizzati dalla formula daily di accesso al pubblico alle piscine e alla SPA, che rende: le piscine e la SPA affollatissime, quasi infrequentabili, il servizio lunch, anche questo offerto ai frequentatori daily, una lotta per ombra, tavoli e “conquista” del cibo a buffet, stile mensa aziendale. Anche la colazione deve essere migliorata, la qualità non è coerente con, ripeto, una offerta a 5 stelle.

Absolutely incredible property, the spas are incredible and the facilities are gorgeous.

We had the most amazing stay in this gorgeous hotel. You walk through the hallway to your room and you’re welcomed with the most amazing scent. Our room was stunning!! Food is amazing. The spa!! Well, it’s a must visit!!

They need to sort out the shower glass issue in the bathroom. Not easy taking a shower without getting the floor completely wet.

The staff were incredible and the facilities were all beautiful. The breakfast and lunch buffets were a real treat, definitely worth indulging. You would have no idea you're so close to the airport either, it's a hidden oasis.

The limitations on using all the facilities if you're travelling with children under 14 - they can't access all the pools.

Loved how it looked and the spa experience was excellent. The room was huge and the bathroom was just as big. The food at the restaurant was amazing. And the staff are all very helpful.

Excellent hotel, excellent experience, the water in the pool is very pleasant, there are many options for everyone. They gave us the room ahead of time at 12:30 after we arrived from a long flight.At 5 p.m. there is a delicious refreshment included

The hotel is not cheap.

I booked through booking.com because it had a pool however I only found out when I arrived that to use the pool you needed the wellness package which was 58.00 euros and not included in the price I paid which was 450.00 aud per night ??? Needs to be clearer when booking this accommodation

Veey close to the airport

This hotel is not very child friendly - kids are not allowed in the spa, there is no kids menu, kids are not even allowed to the dinner restaurant.

I wished that there was a designated pool just for the hotel guests only because it is a very popular place for locals to vacation and have a spa day but the pools were very overcrowded during the day so it was less pleasant.

Staff were a little weird . Some standoffish and others had no common sense .

While it is a dog friendly hotel, not all room categories accept dogs and it is not mentioned during the booking. We were requested to upgrade to the upper category to be allowed with the dog. Also for a 5 star hotel you would expect some tissues, complementary water in the room, glass cups instead of plastic - some small, but crucial things were missing. No porter services available early in the morning. And we received a wake up call an hour earlier than requested

Beautiful setting but we only used it for a stop over as close to airport. Didn’t manage to make use of the facilities.

No bar available between 3pm and 6pm and was charged 10 euros for the desk to call for a taxi for us! Felt this was a little extreme!

Loved that it was close to the airport. The staff and atmosphere at the hotel were fantastic! The buffet lunch offered for a fee was really great. Enjoyed the respite from a busy holiday in such a tranquil location!

Classic old-fashioned decoration and gardens.

I had not chosen hotel for SPA. My stay was based for proximity to FCO airport. The setting for hotel is great. It is meant to be more of a SPA then a regular hotel. It is a lovely classic older hotel. It is run down, with ongoing construction and issues with A/C not functioning with 41 Celsius temperatures. I had to move next morning to a room that had functioning A/C. Breakfast is tied to room rate hence if you leave early for airport, you do not get refund on breakfast and except coffee at checkout. Breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:30. If you need to get a taxi it is only private limousine service Euro30 for 5 minutes drop off at FCO Airport from hotel.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Our flight was cancelled so we needed somewhere to stay near the airport, we were so lucky to have found this beautiful hotel. The grounds and buildings are stunning and the restaurant served us one of the best meals we’ve had. We want to return here and use all the spa facilities

Terrible. No food for a 9 yr old at 10.30pm when we checked in. they told us to order a delivery. Zero help with 6 suitcases and a 9yr old girl with us, big struggle to get to the room. 2 towels for 3 people, no facecloths in room. Disgusting cold hard scrambled eggs at 7.30am, bfast opens at 7.30am! car was pre booked (apparantly) at 8.15am, car came 8.30 and driver said nothing was booked. Rude angry staff who hate their jobs. i paid nearly 800 euro for one night in this poor excuse of a 5 star hotel. This is my first ever review in my life. Worst 5 star experience we ever had, stay away!

L'albergo è immerso nel verde. il ristorante la sera è un ambiente riservato e confortevole, i piatti sono buoni, come pure il servizio.

La spa e le piscine sono sempre molto affollate con gente esterna l'hotel. Troppa gente poco educata in un contesto alberghiero. I servizi carissimi, un'insalata a pranzo oltre € 35,00 e ci si deve mettere in coda. Non c'è un servizio navetta per Fiumicino e purtroppo, il servizio taxi a Roma è indecente.

The room is far from the front desk. We arrive late at night and no one offers to help find the room or with the luggage. Room wasn't very comfortable as it was like a duplex, heard all the noise from outside as well. Extremely expensive!!! Young guys set at the entrance to the reception smoking all over.

Stunning place right next to Rome airport (we heard no plane noise). Pool, spas restaurant etc - fab place to unwind before a flight. Would stay more than one night next time.

There’s nothing - all gorgeous

It’s a historic and beautiful property. We’ve stayed a few times at the hotel and enjoyed the spa after a long flight. In recent years, they’ve opened up day access and now the spa is not worth the additional cost, in my opinion. Plus, they’ve opened took out the only real swimming pool and the place only offers jacuzzi type setups. That and the overcrowding lowers the value in my opinion.

See above. They sell too many day passes to the spa and it’s now like Disneyland. We had some good visits in past, before the place changed. I’d still recommend the hotel for a great sleep 10 min fm FCO. The property is gorgeous.

Beautiful grounds

Bathrooms are not air conditioned which makes the entire room very hot and not comfortable. Room service delivered with no table and no kind of table to eat. And thought we were getting a superior deluxe but got a regular size room.

The gardens were lovely

The facilities in the room were less than desirable. There were paper cups for coffee and water. No tissues at all . No hair dryer. At check in we were shown map of the facility and requested one but were told there was one in the room but there wasn’t. We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant but were told it was booked out and should have checked their website about availability. The room service was overpriced with a service tax that we did not have in any of the restaurants we went to over ten days in Puglia.

El piso del baño es una reliquia histórica pero está en malas condiciones.

Great staff. Was arriveing at 11am but the staff manage to get us in at 1 pm. Spa was great. Graden too. Food and wine exelent.

This spa resort was a lovely way to end our holiday. Close to the airport. Not overcrowded when we went in early June. Pro/con they have a third party service to take you to the airport for only 8 euro, but you must book 24 hours prior. Service is good, but they make no exceptions if you are not prior to 24 hrs.

They only let you walk around the spa/pool area if you are in their dressing gown (They supply) and thongs (They supply/or use your own). They won't let you look around in any other clothing. Nearly all chlorine pools are heated to 36C. There are a few cold plunge pools and one pool approx 24C . Night meals are a little pricey and they don't have the options of sides on the menu, but you can ask for them and they then charge whatever they want. (eg salad, potatoes or veggies.) Don't accept the upgrade to room 31, as multiple times they empty all the bottles into a metal container behind the room, not right for an expensive place. Move the container bin.

Great location to airport

We needed a hotel near the airport for an early flight. It has beautiful gardens. The complimentary happy hour was a nice surprise but strict rule to wear robes in 80+ degrees was unbearably hot

The spa pools were so over crowded from day guests it was like looking at human soup. The restaurant was pretty, but menu was limited, too opulent and over-priced

It’s an undeniably beautiful property. The layout with the spa is incredible. We really enjoyed wandering through the spa area and pools.

The food options are VERY limited for dinner. When we checked jn, we were told the only dinner opening was for 9:00pm. So we decided to order pizza. We were sitting in an inconspicuous area on some couches with a table (because our room didn’t have a good area for four of us to eat) and someone rudely came up to us and refused to let us eat our dinner anywhere, other than our own room. The only other dinner dining option was a very limited room service menu that had some weird vegetarian option and lasagna. So basically, our options were wait until 9:00 or hover around in our cramped room while eating like concentration camp refugees. Oh, and also we had ants in our room. Picture is attached.

The setting with many flowering shrubs and trees most beautiful and the location close to the airport.I made it a good overnight choice. I even upgraded or room. Breakfast was included, and the buffet was very grand. Also our dinner in the evening?That's quite good. I would definitely recommend this property.

It was quite crowded due to it being a holiday weekend, so the spa area outside.I was very busy.

Just brilliant! The staff were so friendly and sweet, the room was georgous and huge with a nice outlook. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and the Spa facilities... amazing!!!

The room and spa were excellent.

It didn’t seem like the staff were very welcoming of Americans and they didn’t give us a tour or basic info. The first few hours were spend figuring stuff out.
