Close to local market and river walk.

Very nice stay, excellent hotel. The only thing I missed is info about how to go from the airport to the hotel on their web site

Tutto molto adeguato e confortevole.

Among one of the few hotels in town that is well-maintained hotel located in the town centre. Rooms are comfortable and staff are well-trained and attentive. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. I will stay at this hotel again.

No dedicated parking for hotel guests

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included which was nice. Older hotel, room was clean.

Hotel is located very convenient with the market behind it therefore food during the day time is ok but there isn’t much to offer at night. The hotel needs a good sprucing up soon as it’s so old and run down already

Booked a king sized bed but was given a double bedded room. WiFi was available but slow. Very disappointing. Other then that, there were no complaints.

Before I checked out last two days I requested a king sized bed for this trip. Still I was given a double bed. Even the bathtub was not very clean and there was a few strands of hairs in it!

Very old hotel but affordable

A three star hotel. Staff pleasant but not that helpful i.e. they'd open the door for you but not help you lug your case up the steps. Bathroom could gave been cleaner but the shower was great. Good enough for 1 night.

The stay here was very good with a very convenient location and walking distance to the central market where you can buy all kind of local fruits and local products.

The housekeeping doesn’t do a good job.

Very comfortable room. Breakfast could be improved by providing garnishings ( egg,prawn) with the laksa. Internet can be improved-keeps being cut off) The location is excellent for anyone wanting to take a tour to town.

not worth it for money and expensive with bad bed condition

I travel for business purpose and book thru Expedia. This is the first time a hotel refuse to issue me an invoice / receipt.

Gym only open certain hours and only a couple of old machines. Pool area is run down...

The hotel itself have restaurants and cafe within the building. If you looks for budget meal, there are always cheaper choice nearby the hotel, KFC and Sugarbun is within walking distance. And, if walking a further distance is not problem for you, you may able to walk to Central Market where the local foods are available.

The reviewers are right to say that this is the best that Sibu has to offer. The location is great. Nearby is the New Capitol Restaurant. Opposite it is the 24h Sugar Bun Restaurant.

房間太暗，光綫不足，浴缸不太整潔，不過服务員好有禮貎。它的位置比較中心，所以很方便，下次來時都会再住.

NHK見れますので、日本人にオススメです。 市場に近いので買い物も便利です。 部屋の広さ、設備等は普通のレベルだと思います。

near to sibu market

客房簡潔舒適，服務櫃臺親切，戶外游泳池很小。這飯店是有分吸煙和非吸煙房，還好當初訂房時有註記，朋友沒註記就住到吸煙房，味道就很差。

The rooms were clean, housekeeping was fast and efficient. Breakfast menu is basic. Lots of local cafes nearby if you want a change.

Average business hotel; I spent only one night at the hotel, did not visit the facilities. Front desk staffs were friendly; the cafe sells delicious cheese cake. The breakfast was just ok.

THE HOTEL IS CENTRALLY LOCATED TO SHOPS AND HERITAGE SOCIETY, PORT AND CHURCHES. THE STAFF ARE HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE FOOD IS TASTY AND MODERATELY PRICED. THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDABLE.

Room was spacious, bedding was comfortable, Tv had Movie Channels, air con was sufficiently cool, Free Wifi (painfully slow, for emails or texting still ok), near to eateries and shops. Reception staffs were helpful and smiley all the time. Did not drive so cannot comment on the parking situation. Will stay here again...

Sauberes Hotel an guter Lage

Pleasant stay with newly renovated hotel rooms. The buffet breakfast was average. Otherwise service was good.

I was here for visiting my relatives during Chinese New Year with my dad. The hotel just finished renovation. The interior looks new and refreshed. They offered really nice breakfast service in the morning which contained variety of hot food like curry chicken, fried rice/noodles, drinks, pastries and so-on, very asian style basically. The hotel is located at the center of downtown Sibu where it's convenient to access to every places around the town. You can walk to everywhere. My only complain is the room is too small and the bed is not-so-comfy. But, room is very clean in general, which is very important as well.

マレーシアのホテルの部屋によくある不備は、水まわり、部屋の一部の臭いですが、このホテルはその2点の不備がありました。臭いは冷蔵庫の上のミニバーにある鏡から、体臭のような汗臭いような臭いがあり、おそらくハウスキーパーが不潔な雑巾で鏡を拭いているせいだと思います。また、シャワー室のシャワーは勢いが良いのですが、浴槽にお湯を溜めるほうの蛇口に切り替えるボタンが壊れて使えなかったのでハウスキーパーに直すよう依頼したら、様子をちらりと見に来ただけで、結局、そのまま放置、修理してくれませんでした。でもシブの中では「良いホテル」のほうらしいです。 朝食は、普通に美味しかったし、ホテルのスタッフも感じが良かったです。

Tanahmas Hotel's facilities are quite good. It is very clean in the hotel and rooms. Rooms are spacious and well equipped including free Wi-Fi. Its restaurant is also neat and food is tasty. It is very convenient as Tanahmas is located in the centre of Sibu City. We can visit Central Market or Chinese Temple within 5 minutes on foot. However, they aren't responsible for taxi arrangement at all. They just let us to take a taxi waiting outside. Only if there isn't any taxi, they call it. They don't inform anything to the taxi driver. We have to tell even the destination by ourselves. To make matters worse, please be reminded that taxis waiting in front of a good hotel are often dangerous. Actually, I was charged RM100 by the driver from City to Airport. It was twice fare than normal price. He explained me he needed twice fare to go back to City. Ridiculous. Reliable transportation arrangement is one of services of a good hotel. Tanahmas Hotel and the taxi driver spoiled this trip last minute.

I was quite surprise at the good condition of the hotel and room considering it was rated as a 3 star hotel. It has a good location and is central. The reception could be more presentable and friendlier

What really stood out about the Tanahmas was the exceptionally clean rooms and the service. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. The pool and gym area could use a bit of care and facilities, namely making towels available at the pool. I was informed they could be obtained via the gym but the gym is closed on Sunday which means grab the hand towel from your room if you want to swim and not walk back dripping. Besides that rather minor inconvenience there were no issues with the Tanahmas; staying there was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
