Our breakfast was first class. Each course was varied, well prepared and most enjoyable.

exceptional on every count, staff rooms, location, breakfast, service I could not fault this hotel, I was greeted on arrival and everything explained to me about the hotel and the local area. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and nothing was to much trouble everything was cooked to order Cliff apologized for the wait but he didn't need too as not only was the food on the table in less than 10 minuets it was hot and fresh on a hot plate. Coffee was good at breakfast and in the room too being branded coffee bags, the room its self was faultless and very clean I had a good night sleep and felt private and secure I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family without a second thought. Nothing could be better and I will not hear a negative comment re the host of hotel . Just wish there were more like this in the north west , i regularly go to Blackpool and nothing compares for the price.

Breakfast was the best I have had for many years, all local produce and cooked fresh. Impeccable service by the hosts, if you are staying in Southport you have got to give this place a try, I certainly will be returning in the future.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble. You could not fault anything, the rooms were spacious and comfortableand exceptionallyclean. Some of the rooms had a small fridge, complimentary water. Breakfast was amazing and served fresh to your table, if you didnt fancy what was on the menu or just fancied egg on toast this was offered. Cliff and Jayne are the perfect hosts and we would definitely recommend. There were 6 of us in my party and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable. Parking is available but only 6 spaces. Tesco express at the top of the road. Lord Street again just up the road. Very close to shops and promenade

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the Deluxe Double Room. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and modern. Cliff is a brilliant host. We enjoyed chatting with him and he was very helpful with local knowledge, recommendations and transport advice. The breakfast was delicious too with great coffee and they also cater for gluten-free guests. The location is also a plus point, as both the marina and Lords Street are a short walk a way.

The whole experience was excellent. The owner was friendly and provided a superb service. The room was spotless with all the facilities you would require for a comfortable stay. A freshly cooked breakfast was provided with plenty of choice. I would highly recommend this establishment.

We first stayed at this property a good few years ago. It is safe, clean and homely. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked to order. Cliff and his family are really nice people. Cliff is good with recommendations of where to eat and drink in Southport. Very knowledgeable about different places. This is really helpful as saves time walking around looking for places to eat. We will be booking again for the August weekend. A lot of customers return like us. We don’t live far but nice having a meal and drinks and staying over. Cliff makes time to have a chat with you and makes you feel welcome. Thank you

There was a very friendly welcome from Cliff and he made my stay enjoyable and was very helpful. It was quite reasonably priced too and free parking on the front. The breakfast was excellent too, I will definitely be staying again.

The breakfast was exceptional with one of the largest arrays of delicious choices I've seen, and the location of the venue itself was very central. We had come to Southport to treat my Uncle for his 80th birthday and we were very happy with our stay

All the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Cliff in particular was more than happy to answer any questions and provided some excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The hotel its self is full of character and each room has a different theme, all very tastefully done. The breakfast was delicious and we were thoroughly looked after. There are 6 good sized parking bays at the front of the property and we were able to leave our car there for the duration of our stay. We'd not visited Southport before and we really enjoyed our weekend break.

Shower pressure dropped when turned hot water to full. When I turn towards cold water slightly on, pressure increases but then water becomes very cold.

Excellent little family-run B&B, small but perfectly made. the location is quiet but central and only 10 10-minute walk from the train station. There are plenty of food options (coffee shop/restaurants) and a Sainsbury's within 5 minutes' walk if you want to pick up a snack. I had a tiny but lovely room, which was spotless and had plenty of hot water. the bed was so comfortable I had some trouble leaving the comfort of the room to brave the rain and wind. The cooked breakfast was made fresh to order and Cliff (the manager) was very friendly and helpful

the stairs- I have mobility issues, and there were quite a few steps to go through. But it's my fault, I did not inform the hotel of my needs in advance. Cliff kindly carried my bag and helped me when needed, so it was ok for one night
