I was given a room with no ensuite

Location is good..

Staff made it clear to us that water was part of the 'mini bar' and would be charged. Mini bar was just Haribo and Water.

good location and easy to find. bedding was comfortable. nice to have a table and seating area instead of the desk you would usually find in a hotel room.

the bed was very uncomfortable, one side is very sunken in whilst the other is the complete opposite so was a bit awkward trying to get comfortable at night. our room was clean to an extent, but there was like muck on the walls and radiator (this happens semi regularly in hotel rooms, cant expect everything to be found n cleaned, but it always is off putting) paid 20 pound on arrival which we was told would cover for items we used in the mini fridge, but upon leaving we was also charged for the drinks we used… which seemed a bit strange, but we were in a rush so just wanted to get going, but yeah i don’t quite understand how that works out. the toilet is incredibly awkward to use, as it is squeezed in next to the shower, only the hand held shower hose works properly in the shower and not the main one.

Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dalla stazione della metropolitana Manor House, da cui è possibile raggiungere il centro in circa 30 minuti. Stanza pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto a venire incontro alle esigenze degli ospiti e a fornire informazioni utili.

Le scale interne dell’hotel sono forse un po’ strette, ma è un dettaglio comprensibile e in linea con le caratteristiche delle strutture in stile vittoriano.

It was a comfortable room and clean.

The shower was rather short and it was difficult to fill the kettle from the small sink. Noise from the foyer was quite loud. The table was a bit high for working but ideal for general day-to-day use.

They gave us a room, after we had been left without any where to say. Even though it was not wheelchair accessible they allowed us to use the side entrance to make it easier for me. The room was very nice, we had a cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge, plus all the equipment for the kitchen, towels and bedding. There was even a fan. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. It was close to a shopping area and very close to bus stops and the underground. Will possibly stay there again, if they can make it more accessible for wheelchair users.

There was no plug for the bath, but there was a shower instead, and the tea cups were a bit small It would be nice if there had been some mugs as well.

Goed gelegen op 6 minuten lopen van de metro in een rustige buitenwijk van London tegenover een park. Ook 's avonds lopen was prima. Het hotel zit in 2 geschakelde herenhuizen en heeft een wat verouderd karakter, maar het is schoon en netjes. Onze kamer was wat klein, maar wel compleet met tv en koelkastje. Als je de stad intrekt en het alleen is om te slapen dan is het goed. Wel wat lawaaierig aan de straatkant. Goede, nieuwe badkamer.

Het is niet handig dat de borg van 20 pond via cc echt betaald wordt in plaats van gereserveerd. Nu heb ik 20 pond betaald en moet ik het een week na dato nog terugkrijgen, maar vanwege de wisselkoers krijg ik minder terug dan ik betaald heb. Als het hotel het bedrag zou reserveren en daarna opheffen is dat veel logischer.

The fan does nothing even keeping the window open did nothing as there zero airflow in the room to get the cool air outside in the room. It was Sept so wasn’t that hot so I can’t image how uncomfortable it would be peak summer! Wouldn’t not go back I’m afraid.

We had a great stay here in a hotel room on the top floor. We weren’t facing the road so our room was nice and quiet. It was nicer than we were expecting and our room featured an entire cooking area with fridge, kettle etc. staff were welcoming

J ai envoyé un mail pour prévenir qu on arriverait à 22h, pas eu de retour, il est écrit que c’était ouvert jusqu a 23h30. Contraints d attendre 15 min que quelqu un vienne ouvrir.. Par ailleurs, en arrivant comme en repartant, les gens qui squattent les marches devant l entrée et fument je ne sais quoi ça laisse à désirer… Il faisait très très chaud une climatisation ne serait ce que portative aurait été fortement apprécié.

The star and the room they put the sink too close to the shower door. Only liked that it was close to Finsbury Park, other then that wasnt very clean and damp in the toilet on ceiling, hair dryer didnt work provided, wardrobe was in the walkway of bed only one side opened so useless really. Toilet seat was broken upon arrival made very difficult to use. Wouldn't stay again Also very over priced for what we received. Would like some sort of compensation back as room was definitely not up to the standards the hotel states they have.

Room small, ensuite very small. Very hot during our stay, no-one's fault obviously. Fan provided which was noisy and with windows open as well the traffic noise was a problem. Bed a bit soft, but this is personal preference

The rooms were unbelievably shabby..broken door handle, dirty walls and a view of piles of rubbish, the bathroom was not usable…husband couldn’t stand up to use the loo as the slanted ceiling was so low like a cupboard under the stairs, and a sink that you couldn’t get too…it wasn’t cheap but really I would avoid. Staff were pleasant

Was well located for concerts at Finsbury Park.

We booked a twin room. One bed had a dead spider on it with no duvet or pillows. We had to give a pillow from the other bed and one person sleep without a duvet to cover them because hotel staff were not at reception when we would check. Room had stains on the bed, table, walls and window sill. The shower would flood into the bathroom slightly and plug sockets had holes in or were loose from the wall. Entrances which were meant to be opened using a fob were left open with fire extinguishers which is both inappropriate and a health and safety and security hazard.

On a demandé un ventilateur 2x le même jour, on l'a eu le lendemain matin. Certes c'était en période de canicule mais cela ne devrait pas être compliqué de répondre à une simple demande du client. Le niveau de propreté était médiocre. Il y avait des araignées et mouches devant notre porte de chambre car il y avait l'issue de secours ouverte juste à côté. Le pommeau de douche était abîmé et fuyait.

I found this hotel on short notice after I saw the awful conditions of another place I had rented. Staff was super nice and it was the cleanest place I've stayed at. There's a bus station in front of the hotel, a metro nearby and also a mall with grocery stores and food.

On the first day the heat wave made it impossible to sleep but we asked the staff for help and they kindly provided an extra fan

Il faisait très chaud, c’est très bruyant et il y avait une bouteille en plastique vide qui ne nous appartenait pas sous le lit. De plus il y’avait des chaussettes sales derrière le radiateur. Elles ne nous appartenaient pas non plus.

Wir waren zwei Nächte in London und das Hotel war super. Angefangen von der Lage 3 Minuten bis zur Underground Station Manor House. Wir bekamen wunderbare Tipps was wir unternehmen könnten und wie wir dort hinkommen auch bezüglich des Abendessens bekamn wir in der nahen Umgebung des Hotels hervorragende Empfehlungen. Für unsere nächsten Städtetrip werden wir wieder kommen.

We arrived at 11 o'clock just to drop our bags off not expecting to check in,but we were told our room is ready and we can check in if we pay £15 an hour up until 2pm,shocking customer services but a reflection of the rip off country we live in.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional hotel experiences I have ever had. I genuinely struggle to understand how this hotel thinks any of this is acceptable. I was running late for checkout, I called the hotel and asked if I could extend my stay. They agreed. I explained that I was running late and would be back later to pay at reception, which they also agreed to. When I eventually returned, I discovered that the lock on my room had been changed and I could no longer access my belongings. At no point did the hotel attempt to contact me. There were no missed calls, no voicemail, no text message, no email—nothing. They simply changed the lock and locked me out of a room containing all of my possessions despite having already agreed over the phone that I was extending my stay. The reception was unmanned, so I had to call the hotel. The staff member I spoke to appeared completely unaware of what was going on. I was eventually told that although I could stay another night in exactly the same room, I would first have to pay a late check-out fee and an additional £50 charge for changing the lock. Let’s be clear: if a guest is staying another night in the same room, what exactly is the justification for a late check-out fee? The room wasn’t needed for another guest. It wasn’t being cleaned. Housekeeping hadn’t been done. Nothing was delayed or disrupted. It felt like a charge imposed simply because they knew they could. I paid approximately £90 in cash for these charges. When I requested a receipt, I was told they couldn’t provide one. I asked for written confirmation. Again, no. I then asked for a receipt to be emailed to me. They took my email address, promised to send it, and more than a week later I am still waiting. So to summarise: • The hotel agreed to extend my stay. • They then changed the lock to my room without contacting me. • They denied me access to my belongings until I paid additional charges.

I was placed in a storage cupboard converted into a single room United Lodge placed a double bed in the box meaning you had to climb over three bed to get in You could not sit on the toilet in the boxed spaced nor enough room had to sit sideways knees then hitting the shower door. To use the shower you had to squeeze your body through the side of the toilet and gap to enter the shower. Each day we had to request room service to enter the overflowing bin despite staff entering the room without permission. There was a tiny window in the room but it was covered with plastic so you couldn't see outside the little view you had was of two wardrobes blocking seeing the laundry room. Would we stay here again, never! It was absolutely horrendous. When we checked in we requested an adequate room after paying £300 for a weekend stay and was told wr need to pay an additional £260. We was denied access to the beskfast lounge to use the microwave to reheat food despite having access to facilities on previous occasions. The mattress was placed on a fold out bedframe which is not except able in a hotel. To brush your teeth you had to bend your head under the bathroom cabinet to ensure each brush and flushing out of your mouth went into the sink and not the floor. It wasn't possible to stand up straight to clean your teeth it was very straining on the neck. This was a nightmare vacation.

hotel molto carino e pulito in zona 2, al limite con la zona 3. a noi interessava la zona Arsenal quindi perfetto!! a 5 min a piedi da Manor House (fermata metro linea blu Piccadilly) e con fermate dell’autobus vicinissime che portavano a Trafalgar Square in 30 min. camera n.20 al piano con moquette, abbastanza grande con letto alla francese e cucinino. bagno in camera piccolo (forse il lavandino troppo piccolo perché non ci si riusciva a lavare quasi il viso - quindi usavamo il lavandino della cucina 🤣) ma zona tranquilla con supermercati, un pub (the finsbury) e un parco bello grande davanti. in camera c’erano ferro e asse da stiro, cassaforte e phon. personale gentile e disponibile!

London weather that day (had a heatwave which the proprietors obviously had no control over!) On 2nd floor was way too hot for us. No AC.

The location was good, very close to the tube station. The reception works 24 hours a day, which is a good point, and the Wi-Fi is good. The check-in staff were nice, though it was clear this was not their primary profession. Yet they were decent and had good manners.

It is a terrible room interior design: golden curtains, a lion painting on the wall, and an old, dilapidated carpet, stained and old. Furniture does not go with one another. It was so untasteful that it made me feel sick. Also, so many things in the room. The room is very small as well. It is a bit smelly when you enter the hotel due to cooking, I assume. I also found it strange that I was not given a wifi code upon check-in, but had to ask for it. At least WiFi worked well. London, in general, has terrible value for money when it comes to hotels. Not really sure they have any guidelines on what constitutes decent accommodation. Some refurbishment of the rooms and some help from a good interior desiger might be needed.

Location-wise it's about 30 minutes from downtown London with the piccadilly line (subway) and you also have an option of buses (also night buses) passing through a nearby stop. Finsbury park is also nearby. Nice breakfast places nearby and a big supermarket too. Staff was hospitable and very helpful The room was clean.

The room was small. Smaller than the idea you get from the pictures. Which is okay given that I am not looking for anything more, but the disappointing thing was the even smaller bathroom, which was maximum two square meters. Physically i was not able to dry myself in the bathroom, i had to step out in the bedroom. That being said, i did not bring this to the attention of the staff and maybe possibly there could be a change of room.. other than that no other problem.

The room was: ​Spacious & Bright: Very comfortable with plenty of natural light, creating a great atmosphere. ​Fully Equipped: Having our own kitchen was a huge plus and very convenient. ​Clean & Quiet: Perfectly clean and very peaceful, ideal for a relaxing getaway. ​The service at the reception was excellent—very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be back. See you next time!

What I liked most about the property was its location.

First of all, I was given a completely different room than the one I had selected on Booking. The photos shown on Booking featured a nice, well-presented room. The room we received, however, was very poor and not necessarily clean either. The only positives about the property were its good location and the receptionist, who was really kind and helpful. As for the room itself, I have very serious reservations. The price is significantly too high for the quality offered.

Low cheap price given its London

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to London and had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable, with clean rooms and a good atmosphere. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the location is very convenient thanks to the nearby metro station, which makes it easy to get around.

The only issue we had was on the last day: after checking out, we wanted to leave our luggage, but we were charged £7 per bag. This was a bit disappointing, as luggage storage is usually free in most hotels. Overall, still a good option if you don’t mind being slightly outside the center.
