Parking was sometimes a challenge

The bed was comfy. The check-in was very easy and the lady at the desk was very pleasant!!

In the hallway for 4 days there was a roach by the glass doors leading to the rooms. The shower walls in our room had black mold on it. There was no place to sit comfortably, it is hard for an older woman and man to sit on a footstool. When we made the reservations we was told that we could see the water from our room. This was not the case. The bar drinks was way overpriced! $25 for 2 drinks, i think not. And the bar maids that was there that evening was not very friendly, did not smile did not thank us, just very dry to the people there Saturday night.They could definitely use some training! I am yet to receive a final invoice.

This is a beautiful facility! I stayed in a historic room and, was still maintaining the historic beauty, was updated to be just as nice as any modern room. Staff was very friendly and helpful If I’m ever in Biloxi again I will be staying there again

Location and the fact that the facility was quiet, with an easy, chill vibe. Lot’s of history. Pool area and restaurant were not overly crowded. A welcome change from staying at other facilities.

Stayed in the new area. Our room only had drawers in a desk. Could have used a small dresser of some type. Struggled to store socks, undergarments, etc.

Elegant traditional hotel that has been tastefully upgraded. If you love old houses, you’ll love this property. Excellent staff, plenty of parking, great amenities in a classy setting. Beautiful!

Charming hotel and beautiful grounds. Nice swimming pool. Good restaurant on site. Staff was friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows were provided to accommodate a picky sleeper. Overall, very pleasant.

The window shades don't block the morning sun adequately. The furnishings are a bit sparse and no actual closet for hanging clothes. It is an old building and some things are unavoidable. I do wish real cups were provided for coffee, paper just seems less than. I like to hear the train that passes nearby, but just know it does come early.

Beware—the rooms listed on booking.com are NOT located at the historic White House Hotel!!! These rooms are in a completely different hotel built in 2023, located behind The White House on White Avenue. They call it their “expansion building” but it’s not an expansion. It is a whole different hotel that the same company owns. It isn’t connected to The White House in any way. Separate parking lot, separate building, separate entrance. It is a fully contained separate hotel and you never even have any reason to step foot inside the hotel you think you are paying for!

I specifically booked what was listed as a HISTORIC and GULF FRONT hotel. At check in, I was told our rooms were in a whole different location that is NOT HISTORIC and NOT BEACHFRONT. My son is a history major and needed to stay at a historic hotel for a school project so I asked to be moved to The White House Hotel that I had booked and was rudely told NO bc I used booking.com. I even offered to pay extra and was told NO. See my Apple Maps screenshot taken inside our actual room and its distance from the real White House Hotel. The staff was very rude and treated me like I was low class bc I booked with a 3rd party. I spent nearly one thousand dollars for a school project that my son couldn’t even complete. We wasted a ton of money and time for no reason. This listing is fraudulent and should not be allowed!

Booking.com mislead me on the room. I had to pay extra for a different room when i got to the a=facility.

We usually stay at the Hard Rock or Beau Rivage but decided to try here for our anniversary. We booked a gulf view room directly through the hotel. We arrived a little around 4:30 and had an Uber on the way to take us to the Beau to enjoy the evening at BR Prime. At check in we were told the hotel overbooked so our room ended up being all the way in the back, down White Ave. We had a parking lot and White Avenue view. We would have booked somewhere else had we been notified ahead of time. The view being available during the booking was the only reason we chose to stay here over other nice hotels. We have never had that happen before anywhere and honestly didn’t know that could happen. (overbooking the hotel)

The breakfast was excellent! Staff was very courteous and helpful. Pool area was great and beach access was very good.

The hotel is beautiful. There’s a very strong scent when you’re in hotel of air freshener, that bothered my asthma. The bar is very nice and David the bartender is just a great guy that pays attention to your needs. We had breakfast at the bar every morning and David actually had our spots set up with a reserve sign. Breakfast isn’t included in the hotel price but we found it very inexpensive and delicious . The hotel needs to upgrade their coffee brand it wasn’t very good. Front desk staff was never there when you needed them. We called down a few times and no one answered. There’s a coffee machine in the room but we would have preferred real glass cups not paper, Rooms are very nice, clean but there’s no refrigerator in the room. There’s plenty of towels and body products in the bathroom. Our room was located on top of the front door of hotel, every time someone opened or closed the door we were startled especially when we were sleeping, I found someone to finally talk to at the front desk told her our concerns about the front door slamming, all she said was “ I’m sorry”. That’s what started the downfall of our stay. Next I got up one Morning and slipped in a pile of water on the floor. I almost fell. The air conditioning unit was leaking down the wall and into the floor. We went down to breakfast and one of the managers was behind the bar and my daughter addressed him and said we have a complaint. He turned around with “ not the first time I’ve ever heard about a complaint”. My daughter got up and called the owner of the hotel. Another manager approached us and offered to move us to another room which we appreciated. “ we moved ourselves” There’s no staff there to help you with luggage. The manager that moved us comped the rest of our meals. Which was much appreciated. Checkout time is 11am and our plane didn’t leave until 5pm. We asked if we could stay in the pool area after we checked out and we were told yes and that we could get ready in the lobby bathroom. Which we appreciated. The property is beautiful, especially sitting on the large front porch in the evening. They just need to work on customer service and pay more attention to detail. One more thing, the pool was very refreshing and they do offer beach towels. When I called before our stay I asked if there was beach towel ant the pool and I was told no. The pool needs some work, plaster was coming off the sides. It would have been nice also if they had someone coming out to the pool to see if we wanted food or drinks. They had a nice area where food and drinks could have been served but no one was there, it was closed. The hotel be just so much more!!!

We’ve stayed at multiple different places here on the coast and The White House Hotel surpasses them all. The history behind the hotel is really cool along with a great ocean view and a nice pool and laid back atmosphere makes it a great place to stay. And the rooms are really really nice and comfortable. This is the only place we’ll stay while visiting the coast.

The first room that I had had a weird smell. They were able to change my room for me and the second room was much better. The view was of the parking lot and the neighbors yard construction. The front desk team was very nice and repsonsive. The location was great, I was close to many things.

There were just small things that I noticed; that had more to do with the finishes. The toliet hose is rusting and shows its age and some of the grout in the shower kind of getting dated. Also, it would be nice if there were more multi-plug devices in the room. There was only one lamp that had two plugs and that helped out tremendously. The pool was very nice but definitely needed to be cleaned there looked like mildew on the bottom and the sides.

The shower needed hand bars. Their was no place to put my makeup at the small sink. I realize though, this room was in the older part of the hotel.

The property was amazing but when checking in you may ask where your room is because this large tree, though it is beautiful does block some of your view to the ocean if that is your goal.

Elegantly appointed with spacious rooms and a super comfy bed. Felt like a luxury boutique hotel and the location was so convenient to every thing a visit to the gulf coast might offer.

I wish the terrace had a bar for sunset cocktails- although it isn’t too far to take a drink with you if you’d like to sit and enjoy the view

I was unhappy with my first room as the previous guest had left clothes in it. It did make me wonder if it was fully cleaned. I also did not like the wall scent plug ins. They were extremely strong, so much so my eyes were watering. I removed it and put it in the hallway.

The price was good for a historical hotel. The pool was clean even though it had just rained the day before. The A/C worked well.

The room did not have a mini-fridge. The smart TV did not have a working USB connection (we wanted to watch something that was available on a phone)

Property overall was very nice.

They are doing construction on the beach across the street. Would make sure that was finished before booking.

Please check the Air conditioner before you stay in the rooms. You will be charged the full price for room if it works or not. Per company’s policy the Manager Katelyn can’t doing anything for you.

I booked a queen size bed . Beds are not queen size as advertised. Rooms could have mini refrigerators for convenience. Pool could have been cleaner. Not enough umbrellas. Cushions were soiled and over all needs attention. Drinks and food not allowed, but bar options were not available

The hotel is still nice but not the luxury stay they advertised. It’s obvious that maintenance is being delayed. We had loose fixtures in the bathroom and a toilet that leaked. The pool is old but lovely unfortunately you can see that the cushions on the lounges aren’t cared for. Rain pools on them and no one comes to wipe them off resulting in a little mildew starting to appear. The hotel restaurant is only open Thursday to Sunday though you can get tasty food at the bar.

Beautiful upscale hotel with townhome feel. Staff nice and welcoming. Front porch excellent place for evening cocktail.

Morrison Ave. Amenities: Coffee maker. No mini-fridge or microwave. Exterior pool with view of Gulf of America (formerly Gulf of Mexico). No jacuzzi. Patio uncovered terrace with umbrellas. A historical ballroom converted to meeting area but kept the significance and ambience. No gym, no laundry. Large lobby seating area with duel gas fireplace and grand piano. Accessibility & Logistics: For travelers navigating with mobility aids (manual or motorized wheelchairs), this property offers accessibility and elevator. Parking: The property offers limited parking for guest. During peak season parking is limited. Especially for RV. Dining & Service: No complimentary hot breakfast. On-site restaurant, Cora's and bar. Cora just opened in December 2025. A great retro speakeasy experience with cubbies and curtains. Final note: I don't want to take thunder away from their "About Page". I'll leave mystery to you. However, this property came to life after Hurricane Katrina of 2005 when it laid vacant for 30 years with homeless guest. To which owner has miraculously turned this property around with an additional 3 story extention building that has architectural replica of main building.

The building is beautiful and has a beautiful wow factor to it. The staff were helpful and kind enough to help with anything we needed.

I loved the fact we were on the first floor. Had it not been rainy, the pool would have been a nice amenity to enjoy. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room was very humid. It really bothered me housekeeping did not come around. I had to ask the front desk for more towels and bathroom essentials. I felt the property was one of the nicest in the area and housekeeping should be around daily.

A little quirky but we LOVE IT HERE! By quirky, I mean no dresser in the new part , had to request a small fridge last year and last year's room had 1 tiny sink. The King room space was small. When you open the door, the bed is 2ft away from the door. Not enough space for the accent chair. There’s literally no gulf view, instead there’s obstructed view.

Everything was excellent. I was very satisfied with both the friendly staff and the clean, quiet room.

However, there was one issue. I was deeply disappointed to be told that the specific room type I had booked through Booking.com—specifically, a slightly larger room (for which I had paid an extra fee)—did not actually exist. I was so upset that I felt as though I had been scammed. I sincerely hope that measures are taken to ensure that such false advertising does not happen again.

We loved the rocking chairs on the front porch.

The bar service is extremely slow. They were out of everything we tried to order. The vanity in the bathroom doesn't leave space for your things. The uneven walking space by the pool was dangerous for everyone we saw walking around. Our room smelled like mildew/musty.
