Best Western Plus Baker Street Inn

The location is great, and walkable. The food at Marzano's is great, whatever meal you are looking for, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I do not really have anything to offer here, we all loved staying here.

Nice and clean rooms, location is perfect right on Baker Street, free parking is definitely a big plus. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Restaurant has fantastic food, no matter if it’s breakfast or dinner. (MUST make reservations for dinner, super busy place) so worth it.

This is probably one of the nicest Best Western establishments we've stayed in as we use it yearly to visit family. The philosophy of using local produce, including the best coffee and homemade breakfast jams, gives it a special edge. The restaurant is an absolute delight to dine in, and the staff has always accommodated our request for a quiet room. Bravo to you all!

The inclusive breakfast menu is a little restrictive, but the quality and exceptional service made up for it.

The front desk staff didn't know what they were doing. They told us we had to pay an additions pet deposit when we had already paid the extra money for a pet friendly room. I argued with them about this and then turns out they didn't charge us the extra. We had to cancel our last night because of an emergency at home and I'm still waiting for the refund. The front desk staff told us to call booking to cancel. The number they gave us was constantly busy. I called booking customer service and they said the hotel had to cancel the booking. I called the hotel and was told only a manager could do that and the manager was only the 7- 3. Finally I got ahold of the manager and she told me booking had to cancel it. The manager said they'd call booking and take care of it. This was almost a month ago. Never heard from the manager or booking and never received a refund.

Our view was of a concrete wall. For the price of the room, I would have expected a slightly better view.

Front desk was polite and helpful. Upscale restaurant that serves breakfast, seemed to use quality ingredients.

Breakfast was bland. Hotel is on a hill and the floor was not leveled but Nelson in general is annoying to drive around since it's so hilly. Parking is in a separate lot which can be inconvenient if you have kids, because you have to cross the street. Room is not soundproof and smelled moldy. Weird view from the window. I don't like how the layout is basically surrounding a garden on the bottom floor, just convoluted and impractical.

The walls were very thin. We could hear the people on both sides of us having casual conversation, watching tv, etc. They weren’t being noisy, just going about regular life, but we heard it all, meaning they probably heard us as well.

Location was ideal, parking lot designate for guests had plenty of room. It was quiet. The hot tub was great for relaxing at the end of the day

Came to Nelson for the night , looking for a hotel came in to the best western. Staff said they could do a room for Canadian. Still a lot of money for a solo traveler . Went for a walk in town looked at my hotels.com app . Found a room at best western for taxes in .Went back to reception and booked for a night . Thought it was a good deal . Until I checked on my banking and saw that $ was in USA currency. Worked out to $ can . Feel completely ripped off as the site didn’t say USA FUNDS . Not impressed. Learn from mistakes. Will probably delete app as I feel I got . Probably my fault. Hotel wasn’t able to correct it as well . Still $ lots for a shoe box for a room and a view of a brick wall . Staff was friendly though.

I assume the gym might have been below our room, because the music started at 7am and was pretty loud. There was no sleeping through that.

One of the best experience staying at hotel

This is my second stay this summer at Best Western on Baker Street in the beautiful city of Nelson. It is clean and quiet. The staff are very kind and accommodating. It has a great fitness room and convenient parking.
