Nice hotel in a wonderful location. The staff was friendly. A nice perk was to have E-bikes provided by the hotel for free.

Water pressure was low. Food preparation at the hotel restaurant was extremely slow.

The staff were amazing, the whole hotel was lovely, and it's in an exceptionally good location. Great waterfront restaurant.

The trade on all the positives and amenities is that room rates are quite high.

Kids in the pool and hot tube till closing. We had about 15 min of quiet till they closed. It would be nice to have an adults only time.

Beautiful hotel. Mattresses are SUPER soft (too soft in my opinion), don’t provide much support. The lake view rooms are nice but the balcony’s could be cleaned/swept off more regularly. Lots of bugs/spiders and spider webs that could be wiped off regularly.

Gorgeous view of lake and bridge out the large picture window. Lovely walk to 2 different swimming areas. One with huge grassy park. The other mostly undeveloped where people take their dogs to swim. Enjoyed both.

Only issue was that main area with tourist-related shops and restaurants is up a steep hill so we ended up driving. But groceries are an easy walk.

Location was excellent, view of lake, hotel staff were really responsive and helpful.

The restaurant had some challenges- they seemed overwhelmed and slow. Our first meal was fantastic. The next meal we got a seafood tower and the shrimp was bad, another we ordered fish tacos, received fish and chips (after a long wait) the wait staff took it back and 15 minutes later we got our tacos with the same fish from fish and chips cut into pieces and now cold.

This resort was very nice, clean and quiet. Beds very super comfortable, the resort grounds and walk area were very beautiful. Highly recommend staying.

Location was fabulous with gorgeous views of the lake. Plenty of options for dining right at the resort. The staff were amazing especially Fhel at the front desk who checked us in and later brought us a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary!

Everything was wonderful with the exception of the hot tub not working (which seems to be a suspiciously common occurrence at the Prestige hotels?? This is the third one we have stayed at where the hot tub couldn’t be accessed)

Firstly, the staff were exceptional, so warm and welcoming. We felt so looked after, and we adored the complimentary 1hr of water sports. The hotel is in the most stunning location — as it’s right on the lake, it almost feels like you’re on a cruise. The restaurant, pub and cafe were all wonderful — enormous portions!

Our room wasn’t clean, but the front of house staff had it taken care of straight away.

Seemed like there was deferred maintenance- our first room door wasn’t working properly. Maintenance worker was out do they moved us to another room and that door didn’t automatically shut.

- proximity to everything, right in the water - the staff were wonderful (friendly, so helpful) - large room - good restaurant

- nothing, it was a great stay - perhaps not having Netflix

We loved it here, staff extremely helpful and friendly, early check in provided, ground floor lake view king room was spacious and updated, chairs and loungers outside, complimentary e-bikes, we used the pool & hot tub every day. Location was perfect, easy walking distance to Save on Foods, liquor store and downtown, caught the train right outside for a fun ride to beach, park and train museum. A HUGE highlight for us was Port701 and Brixx Pub, both with outdoor lakeside patios, Happy Hours 2-5 pm daily with excellent specials including Burgers & Chicken Tenders that were delicious, service friendly and efficient. Front desk provided $10 vouchers for every day we didn't need housekeeping, all in all this resort has everything you could ask for and more, we were extremely happy with the quality and value!

We recently stayed with the Prestige Lakeside in Nelson on a Anniversary Road Trip. This location is very well appointed, clean and inviting and the staff is very attentive and engaged. When we arrived at our room there was a lovely hand written note with a bottle of champagne which was a nice surprise. We found the location to be very walkable to downtown Nelson and the walkway along the lake was a plus. Our only suggestion would be for some hooks to be added to the bathroom so that they is a place to hang towels or housecoats. Thank you for a nice stay!

Everything! It is my favourite weekend getaway, to rejuvenate🌱. The rooms are always clean, the staff always lovely. The lake view bottom floor, is my favourite!!

Nice location and big room

We were on the back on the ground floor. They could not have given us a worse room as we just constantly had cars come and go up to our window.

The train they operate was only in summer .it should start from spring as there was no snow .we really wanted to do the train ride but couldn’t .its operated by the resort

Nice location at the water's edge and within walking distance of Baker Street. Clean, comfortable room at a good size. Onsite cafe, bar and restaurant.

The TV is not a smart TV, so in the evening I could not connect to any of my streaming subscriptions. This was a disappointing oversight, given recent renovations.

Very quiet area in town yet walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Our room was very nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The server at the restaurant was super nice!

The view of the marina and pier were beautiful. The staff was very attentive and seemed genuinely happy.

Wir hatten keinen Fluglärm wenngleich das Hotel direkt in der Abflugschneise des kleinen Flugplatzes liegt. Kaffeemaschine mit ausreichender Auswahl. Alles sauber, wird nachgefüllt. - Empfehlenswerte Cafeteria im Hotel.

Wand zum Nachbarzimmer etwas hellhörig, aber OK. Das Frühstück war nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Dieses wird ab 07.30Uhr im Restaurant serviert.

Fantastic room in a beautiful building with a beautiful lakeside location with mountain views. Very close to skiing and downtown. Free parking was a bonus! Will definitely stay next time in Nelson.

The window coverings didn’t keep the significant light out of our room. They were opaque blinds.

The location on the water was wonderful, interior lobby/common areas were all beautifully decorated and clean. Our room was also very nice, and it was awesome having a balcony looking out onto the river.

The parking lot was quite full unfortunately; we had to park a fair ways away from the entrance, so bringing our luggage etc back and forth was a bit challenging. The restaurant looked really nice but was very small and booked up, so we had to eat elsewhere. A bit disappointing as we were hoping to try it.

The fish and chip meal was below par undercooked

Location was fantastic. The view was beautiful and the front desk staff were lovely.

Someone's alarm in the next room over was going off from 5am-6am. My husband tried calling down to the front desk but no one answered. Maybe there should be someone available to answer calls at all times? That's the only thing that went wrong. Everything else was fantastic.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Certain breakfast,s were no good. The eggs Benedict was horrible. The prosciutto was more than hard as a rock. The steak dinner had broccoli that tasted awful. The room had a bulb between beds that didn't, produce enough light for reading. Asked for that to be fixed, but it didn't,t happen. The toilet need the handle to be giggled to stop the running. The price was 20 dollars more on average for some better places in town. The room for 4 nights was at the end of a very long hallway. The first night, which cost more for the weekend, was a small kids hockey tournament. Lots of noise. I would have thought that a room closer to the lobby would be nice for a 4 day customer. The beds are too soft and the pillows too hard. I never give reviews , but this time I am.

Rooms could be better sound proofed, heard a lot of hallway noise. My room was beside stairway and it was very loud.

Being on the lake was great, with a beautiful view. Coffee shop connected to the hotel had excellent service and coffee.

Was out quite a bit so we did not find any reason to not be satisfied.

My Partner and I have stayed here several times. We just love it. The staff are wonderful, their customer service is impeccable. I like the fact they offer the environmental option of room service but this isn't pushed. We accepted the voucher on occasion but wanted room service on other occasions and both were accepted without issue. I would recommend this hotel without reservation

We went for two days to unwind from a very stressful summer. Perfect. The staff was great. the room was lovely and the view was beautiful. Overall a very pleasant place.

Terrific location right on the marina, peaceful and serene. Staff were wonderful, so helpful. We moved rooms to get a water side one (much recommended unless you want to view the carpark) and this was no issue. Arranged everything seamlessly. Pub was lovely with good food and drink. Rooms were very comfortable, the mattress and bedding were first class. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Great setting on the lake . Welcoming staff, easy parking. Reasonable pool facility. Lake view room well equipped and comfortable bed. Ground floor room with access to outside area and seat / table.. nice to view lake but not private, easily overlooked by neighbouring rooms from where conversations carry easily. Bathroom ok but shame shower over bath with shower curtain. Needs an upgrade to walk in shower. 15 minute walk on an incline to downtown Nelson. Just opposite tram , which is a fun way to spend an hour . Brixx brewhouse was great. Quite busy probably because 10 dollar happy hour promotion! Good to have an outside bar table watching the lake. Friendly and helpful staff , good local beer choices and excellent burger menu. Highly recommended chef led experience. I think they do different promotions of their menu most nights of the week. Well worth checking it out. Empire coffee was a big let down. The most unfriendly staff of our whole trip, unpleasant breakfast muffin, unclean and unstable table . Give it a miss,

Amazing location and very comfortable beds, watching boats in the marina was a highlight

Shower pressure was not great but I understand that is done to conserve water. It would be nice if there was a stroller friendly entrance to the hotel from the city walking path towards Lakeside park, we had to lift our stroller over the curb.

Suite was very nice. Loved the balcony over looking the marina. They unfortunately didn’t have champagne flutes available as we were celebrating which seemed odd for such an upscale resort. But everything else was perfect
