Price/location was fine

Dirty and old. Some floors are apparently better than others but getting a more expensive room option doesn’t guarantee you will be allocated there. During my stay my neighboring room was turned into a crime scene with about 5 policemen and crime scene photographers present. The hotel staff did not want to disclose what was going on, which wasn’t very comforting.

My experience staying in the Deluxe Room at Wuyangcheng Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room is spacious and bright, with exquisite and stylish decor, and I could catch a glimpse of the city scenery through the window. The bathroom has a dry-wet separation design, and the toiletries are of great quality. The front desk ladies provided warm and thoughtful service—they solved problems promptly, recommended interesting nearby places in Guangzhou, and guided us on hailing taxis. Both check-in and check-out were very efficient. The hotel is conveniently located near the subway, with plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area, and ordering takeout is also easy. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Guangzhou next time!

Great place to stay

This hotel located in the central city, great access to Beijing Road or Shangxiajiu Road where are the famous pedestrian attractions of delicious food and shopping centers. The manager Mr. Bao and all the staff there providing excellent customer service and effective support. We will definitely return this location when we are back to Guangzhou and highly recommended anyone who wants to have a great experience of traveling.

quite reasonably priced, near the center of the old town. Lots of restaurants and shops around. On foot - Bus stop: 1 min Underground train station: 5 min Most of the city attractions are 3-5 train stops away. All of the in-room supplies, water, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc are replenished daily

wifi is hard to connect and very slow. No other complain.

breakfast was not included in the price. There is a restaurant just next to the hotel, not sure if they were affiliated. the foods are not bad but kind of overpriced.

The hotel is comfortable and clean, with all the services you need. Old, but all functioning and in the right place. Location is good, just 10 min away from Ximenkou metro station and nearby there’s everything.

It would be great to have a breakfast option. The hotel in general is old and it would be good to have a renovation.

Stayed here for the 2nd time in the last 5 years. The hotel needs a serious revamp. The only best part of this hotel is the close walking distance proximity to the market area which makes it easy for business travellers. They came turning off the AC at night. Random calls are made from the reception for a sex massage at 2am when you are fast asleep. Average broken bathroom tiles and flat old pillows.

My first trip to china 🇨🇳 I stayed in this hotel , Front desk is active 24 hours and lobby area is clean and it's huge , 3 working lifts so no need to wait to get in to the floor whenever u go thr will be a lift for you , in lobby area u will find a small 7-11 kinda store - Rooms spacious / toilet is ok - worth for the pay Now after so many trips to china I still stay here nice place

Usually I stay here whenever I visit china Main reason to go to yusufs Resturant where u can find Pakistani rotty stuff for breakfast etc It's almost near nanfantasha electronics market - good hotel with clean environment and reasonable price

I would have given 4 stars but due to a few things i wont. First i dont understand why ppl have given bad reviews for this hotel????? Its a very good hotel very very clean and Has all the basic amenities. Check in and check out were very smooth.. The staff did not have good english speaking skills but i can assure you their english was better than the staff at other chinese hotels.. Otherwise the staff at reception was very good. You just need to find out a way to make them understand what you want, Once they get it they wud surely attend to your request. They housekeeping was very good. The plus points- Its almost an hours drive from this hotel to international airport. There is a metro station nearby the hotel. Mc donalds and 7-11 are just few steps away. Alot of bakery,eatries, fast food joints are there.. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are of good size. Toilets/bathroom was absolutely clean. It had a steam shower cabin.(wooww that was the last thing i expected.) Toiletries like soaps,shampoo,foam bath, comb,shower cap, shaving kit, toothbrush kit were all provided and replenished everyday. Fresh Towels were given every day. Room was cleaned everyday even if i dint asked for it. Had an electronic safe. Hot water in the bathroom all day. I could see the CANTON TOWER from my room.. They arranged a taxi for airport drop. Minus points- The biggest drawback they do not serve continental breakfast. The buffet breakfast that was included in my stay was all chinese. They serve typical chinese food with no description of what food items they were serving. No hot milk. Only chinese tea was there. No spoons or forks. Only chopsticks. I could not eat any of it. In the room also there was only chinese tea bags. No milk powder no coffee nothing. The shower cabin did not work properly. The pearl river and canton tower are just a few minutes drive. Since i was on a business trip and not a liesure trip i would avoid these small short comings because over all its a good hotel with good clean rooms and a good location and would definitely go back...

This hotel is horrible. After I planned my trip to stay at this hotel for canton fair, I was treated so badly at the time of check in. I arrived at Oct 20, 2011. I booked two rooms for 7 days. There was a man at the receptionist that said that we didn't book at the hotel without even asking our name at first. And after we talked to a lady, the lady helped us out, and said we booked the hotel, and our name is in the system. After that, the man showed up again, and gave us hard time by saying we only booked one room, which is ridiculous. This is so unprofessional, and we didn't understand why that guy treated us that way. It might be we have booked the hotel that are way too cheap, and they tried to sell it at the higher price because of the fair. By all means, avoid this hotel, and they don't care about professionalism, all they care is they want to sell the room at higher price. it sucks...

Never been in a dirty hotel like this, the location of the hotel is not good bus it is ok the resturant is smell very bad and the A/C almost dosn't work and the Refrigerator works and stops by it self i don't recomend this hotel for any one
