Very disappointing stay. The power went out several times in the middle of the night. When we checked in, the room was still not properly cleaned. The bathroom door lock was broken, and almost got stuck inside. The service was also very slow. Overall, the experience was not good and needs a lot of improvement.

The location is great as at the entrance of jonker street! Great location! The beds were comfortable and pillow were just the right height!

The hot water takes very long to warm up! perhaps it is time for major renovations :) The rooms generally smell musky smell especially the first room that we were given has a very strong musky smell! The first room given was also not the one in the pictures shown when i booked the room. The staff were kind enough to change room for us. The second room was the one shown on the booking. Revamp and maintenance/replacement should be sincerely considered! However do keep the interior design! Love it!

Llegamos al hotel sobre las 12 pm (habíamos avisado de que llegaríamos a esa hora por el chat). Cuando llegamos nadie nos abrió la puerta, estuvimos media hora llamando a la puerta y nadie nos abrió. También escribimos por el chat que estábamos en la puerta y llamamos tres veces a los números de teléfono que tienen, pero nadie respondió. De madrugada, nos tuvimos que buscar otro hotel. A la mañana siguiente fuimos al hotel a reclamar y nos intentaron marear para intentar ni devolvernos el dinero

The location is exceptionally good. Next to Jonker Street, but at the quieter end.

Initially, the reception told us that our booking was cancelled and requested to search for a new booking! After waiting for 2 hours there, the staff was finally able to get us a room for us. The room has a distinct humid wooden smell, but diminished after an hour of air conditioning. The water pressure for the shower is very low and slow.

It's quiet far to walk back to the hotel. Not much halal food around that area

The aircon was not cold even when put to 17 deg. The room was so near to the ither room that curtain has to be shut at all times.

Room card didn’t work. Had to go to reception twice because the card they replaced also didn’t work. Mosquito in the room. WiFi password didn’t work the first time round and had to ask for another one. You have to keep on connecting back to the wifi whenever you leave the hotel and so have to remember the password. Shower water pressure is low. Stayed there for two nights. There’s no housekeeping, which we don’t mind but at least give us more toilet paper. Ran out of toilet paper on the last day and had to get more from reception.

The location is very strategy as 2-3min walking distance to jonker street and 15-20min to riverside.

The room provide does not match what I saw from the picture provided, the room is much smaller than shown on the picture published in booking.com, air-con is not cold and the water heater is not working. When I feedback to reception staff, they are not able to do anything about it and no room to change. Very poor maintenance hotel. The worst is the reception staff is not professionals while providing information. As we couldn’t find parking on the street in front of the hotel, the staff didn’t mentioned that they have parking lot for guest at the back of the hotel, I was told by her to drive a little far and may have more parking lot. We end up parking quite far and spent RM25 for 2days 1night parking. After make the payment and back to hotel and check in then only we found out ourselves that there is parking lot for the hotel guest just locate at the back of the hotel with viable parking lot. We are totally speechless. I am very sure that I will never book this hotel ever again if travel to Melaka.

Smoking smell along corridor, musty smell in the room, dirty with stains on bedsheet. Only 1 room card is given for 4person room. Absurd. We stay in family room for 4 pax, did not provide toothbrush, and there is no fridge, and pathetic tiny bottle of shampoo and body wash. There is nothing good about this hotel and the price is expensive, please avoid at all cost.

这次是我第二次入住，服务员很好，有耐心，有免费停车场，整体都很满意也靠近鸡场街。

因为入住房间有窗口靠近大马路，有飙车党和摩托车党一直飙到凌晨3-4点，对于高敏的我很难入睡😭所以comment有点矛盾了😂

Reasonably comfortable. Very close to Jonkers Walk and all the action. Great variety of restaurants close by.

Unfortunately everything smacks of penny pinching. The very clear list of what they will charge you for any item damaged is off putting especially when the bedspread has a hole in it. Only one access card so you come back to a stinking hot room every time. Threadbare towels. Had to ask for water despite the instructions saying two bottle works be provided each day. And the wifi is very unstable. Not worth saying wifi is provided free because it's unusable.

Complaint Regarding Check-in Experience at Swiss Hotel Heritage Boutique Melaka Dear Management of Swiss Hotel Heritage Boutique Melaka, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Upon arrival yesterday, we already noticed some unusual situations while queuing for check-in, as there were several guests raising concerns. At that point, we assumed the issues were isolated and proceeded with our check-in as usual. However, after completing the check-in process and heading to Room 312, we discovered that the room had not been serviced and was not ready for occupancy. We waited approximately 15 minutes outside the room, only to find that the air conditioning was also not functioning. We then returned to the front desk, where we observed that other guests were also lodging similar complaints about their rooms. This clearly indicates a broader issue with room readiness and management. This experience has caused significant inconvenience and dissatisfaction during our stay. We sincerely hope that the hotel management will take this feedback seriously and improve operational efficiency and service quality to prevent similar situations in the future. In last we decided to refund through booking.com but unfortunately we unable to get refund and were booking another hotel for our stay.

很多，停车位很少,冷气不冷换了房间。房间沒做隔音非常多吵杂声。300xx. 拿到这样的房间说真的是很不满意的

La habitación me ha encantado, con ventana y lus natural. Cama muy cómoda, con mini nivera, y lo q más me gustó fue q la habitación tenía mucho lugar para guardar ropa, compartimentos para guardar de todo lo q necesites. Buen trato con la recepción, q have lo posible p atender cualquier petición y ayuda. Volvería sin duda á alojarme aquí.

Our 2nd time staying at this hotel. This time around, we booked a different room for family of 5. Room 323 spacious and exactly like pictures shown. Front desk team were friendly and polite. There's few parts that did not meet our expectations (note 3rd floors still undergoing renovation/upgrading): 1) Lower bathroom water drainage a bit blocked, slow and wet the floors. There's strong urine smell upon check-in, we had to keep spraying fragrances to minimise the awful smell. Fresh towels with minor spots/stains. 2) Upper toilet light a bit dim and no ventilation fan 3) Both upper and lower toilet doesn't have hot water running. 4) Unit smells a bit musky/humid when check-in. Improve after few hours. 5) Floor parquet near balcony uneven, dangerous and may cut feet if not careful as no indoor slippers provided (good thing we always brought our own) 6) Noise from the street and upgrading works starts around 8am+ Overall, it was still a good stay and we will still choose this hotel for our next visit. Thank you Swiss Hotel! :)

Location! Jonker Street locates just behind our hotel. We were lucky to get a room not facing main road, pretty quiet.

Das Zimmer war sehr schäbig. Die feuchten Wände waren lediglich mit Farbe überstrichen. Es wurde weder regelmäßig gereinigt noch überprüft, ob Dinge wie Kosmetikartikel oder Kaffee vorhanden waren. Zudem roch es unangenehm muffig.

The location

The hotel is in a convenient location with available parking, and the room layout had the potential for a great stay. It featured a nice balcony and a two-story loft design with an attractive winding staircase. While the bed and pillows themselves were comfortable enough, any enjoyment was completely negated by the hygiene issues (mentioned below) and the fact that the loft lighting didn't even work. It is a shame to see a room with such good bones be so poorly maintained.

My stay was incredibly disappointing due to a total lack of management and basic maintenance. Despite being advertised, there was zero daily housekeeping. We returned on the second day to unmade beds, full trash cans, and unreplenished amenities. To make matters worse, our key cards failed and required a trip to reception to be reset. Room Hygiene & Safety: The cleanliness was unacceptable. The towels and pillowcases had a distinct, unpleasant odor, and the bedsheets had hair on them before we even used them. The hairdryer provided is a genuine safety hazard (see photos). Additionally, the TV is extremely dated, and broken. The Water Heater Issue: The most frustrating part was the lack of hot water. On Day 1, maintenance simply run the tap for 10 minutes just to get lukewarm water. By Day 2, we ran the water for over 30 minutes with zero warmth—a massive waste of water and a total failure of service. When I messaged the hotel via WhatsApp for help, they didn't bother responding until the following morning, only to say the heating system wasn't central. No solution was offered. The Facilities: The "bidet" is just a basic hose, shower head holder is loose, the sink in the loft toilet leaks, the loft lighting was broken, and the fridge only works if you are in the room with the key card inserted, meaning nothing stays cold while you are out.

Honestly there is a distinct difference between "boutique heritage" and feeling "run down and old", and this place sadly crossed that line. We enjoyed meeting the manager, and the staff were friendly, but it literally took 45mins for the hot water to run hot, and everything about the ŕoom, felt tired old and unfashionable. We booked for one night, thinking we may extend, but moved and found somewhere 10 times as good at a slightly cheaper price.
