Heliconia Villa

The manager is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and it's easy to walk to places. The villa has everything you need. It is well away from the road and is nice and quiet. The pool is small, but perfect for 2 people. It's a nice place to relax.

The building and facilities are old. But that's okay and expected. Because everything was working as it should.

Everything is exceptional tirta and staff are amazing friendly accommodating and just go out of their way to make your stay great. Great location clean and tidy comfortable and clean accommodation our 2nd stay and will be back. Thank you for a great holiday.

It was an amazing Luxy villa in the best location of Seminyak where all the best shopping, bars, clubs and restaurants are. Such amazing value at the price. The private pool was next. I am so thankful for the free upgrade. I am so glad I discovered this Gem. Just so next level outstanding. So so many wow factors. The staff were amazing, always friendly and accommodating. There was nothing to fault. I cannot wait to return AAA+++

The villas are in a great central location in Seminyak, close to restaurants, bars, massage, shopping. The manager, Tirta, was lovely and very accommodating when things were not up to scratch. her goal was to make people's stay enjoyable. The layout of the villa is good, it's not super large compared to other 1 bed villas, but for the price it was good. The bed is very large as is the bedroom. Bathroom is large as well with an open shower. Pool was always sparkling. The garden areas are lovely throughout the complex. The two guard dogs, Snoopy and his friend, are very friendly, always on hand to welcome you back to the villas. I will return.

My air con was not working properly for the first few days, always leaking. It was finally fixed properly on day 3 and I never had issues again. The water supply has air in the pipes, so when you turn on the taps the water splutters out for a minute or two. An exercise any time you turned on the taps in the bathroom. There was not an issue with the taps in the kitchen area. The villas are now 20 years old and the owners have not invested well in their upkeep.

Very welcoming, helpful and very beautiful room was cleaned everyday and was very nicely cleaned and had little extra stuff incase you forgot yours staff was amazing and the place is very safe close the gate at night and have a good doggy to keep it safe and they let you in when you come home at any time very accessible:)

Only thing I would say as not everywhere is 10/10 is the showers water pressure washing great but that’s all other then that very amazing

Kitchen facilities very average and quite old, need updating

Location was excellent, really perfect! Customer service was impecable from beginning to end. Trista was great and so the all the staff, including the dogs :) . The villa itself was perfect for two people, even 3. Beautiful landscape, the plants, the garden in the property, just gorgeous. Althoug we were in the busiest street of Seminyak, right the in the middle of it (Eat street) the villa was extremely quite, like you were away in Ubud somewhere. They keepers came in everyday to make the bed, change towels and mop the floors so evrytime it felt fresh upon our return from a day out. They would also refill the room with a few water bottles every day.

The villa was very pooly cleaned. The kitchen which is outdoor (great idea btw!) wasn't very inviting giving the lack of cleanliness. The kitche cabinets were disgusting, with cobwebs inside even. I culdn't store anything in it. Every utensil I got I had to wash before using. The stove is rusted and one doesn't work at all, the other is tricky to keep alight. The towels had stains on it. They smell clean, but had heaps of stains and were clear very, very old 3 years ago and yet hasn't been replaced. The sheets, althougt had the smell and feeling of clean sheets, the velcro to close the quilt cover was unable to actually work given the amount of hair in it. The bathroom is beautiful, but the corners of the showers specially are black and slimy. The vanity has double sink and both taps did not work properly at all! The water would go everywhere, a simple fix like just change the washer should solve and make a huge a difference. I guess it all about the lack of attention to detail, not lack for care to be honest. And I did notice that in every place we stayed.

Très belle villa avec salon ouvert sur un jardin très bien entretenu. Piscine privée assez grande. Environnement securisé et très très calme et pourtant au bout de l'allée d'accès vous êtes dans une rue ultra commerçante et dynamique. A moins de 10mn de la plage. Personnel discret et très agréable.

It’s our 4th year in a row staying here and we adore it. The staff are all the warmest most beautiful people, especially Wayan who is responsible for the magnificent gardens. Tirta in reception, who goes above and beyond, organising vehicles, bikes and an overall happy stay. We are very much dog people and the two resident pooches, Snoopy and Janey are just another reason we continue to stay here. They remember us from year to year and keep us from missing our fur babies at home too much. It’s the perfect location. 10 minute walk to the beach, 5 to Seminyak Square and just 2 minutes from our mainstay Natys where we enjoy, breakfast and sometimes dinner daily. Everything you could possibly want including pharmacy just across the road. Will continue to stay at Heliconia when in Seminyak for many years to come 🥰

We loved the private feels.

The toilet struggled with every flush and the budet constantly leaked. Also the staff were informed of us getting tattoos during our stay and they did not supply tattoo sheets as requested and attempted to charge us $100 AUD for tattoo stencil DYE

the setting was lovely, beautifully attended gardens and the pool was larger than I expected

the toilet didn't flush every time and the bathroom roof leaked when there was heavy rain so we had towels everywhere so as not to slip

The location was excellent for a holiday. The kindness and offering of help from the staff was very good. Tirta was very communicative and responded when we often had things that needed to be attended to. Probably one of the most beautiful entry gardens in the Town of Seminyak. The actual bedroom was lovely cool in the bed was clean linens and very comfortable. The gardener had done the most beautiful job I will attach pictures so you can appreciate the conundrum of the exterior beauty versus the actual comfort and convenience of the villa. #4

We were put in a larger villa #4 and they locked one of the rooms since we paid for a one-room apparently. At our arrival it hadn't been ready. At first look it was stunning, but the kitchen area was a nightmare and there was very little supplies and what was there was rusted or old with the exception of 2 pans We had to request to get a functioning kettle and toaster. No microwave no kitchen towels to dry dishes with etc. old and dirty kitchen sponges and it was filthy and unorganized in all the cabinets. The bathroom was not very clean the bathtub didn't have a plug there were lots of spider webs amongst the plants and you couldn't use cabinets under the sink They were sealed or locked. Hot water ran out after one shower and usually halfway through the shower. A large carving over the master bedroom fell down while we were in bed fortunately no one was hit. We ended up leaving 3 days earlier telling them we were staying with a friend as we didn't want to offend. We didn't ask for a refund We just left.

The villa has a charm that made us feel a real part of Bali.The gardens in and around Heliconia were beautiful The location is the best we’ve we have had on our numerous trips to Bali We also live the quiet, so quiet, so peaceful All the staff including Tirta made us feel very welcome We loved our time there

We have seen some reviews saying the villas are a little tired and may need updating If you want brand new then expect to pay way more Heliconia Villas offer excellent value for money with a charm and character you will love

Having a private pool to wake up to is a luxury we don’t often get. As well as your own private manicured garden it does not get much better. Tirta and her friendly team maintain the entire property to an extremely high standard. While being so well located this is a sanctuary away from it all and I could not have wished for a better stay during my time in Bali.

Great location off eat street, 2 min walk down good road/path entry. Very secluded beatifully manicured gardens. Lots of bottles of water supplied in room/villa, good aircon and comfy king bed, spacious indoor outdoor bathroom. Pool cute, temp a bit coolish.

Several maintenance issues, light inside pool (not working) was hanging off pool wall with exposed wires (really needs to be addressed!) Water running down wall in bathroom shower area through light and power socket when raining (up high on wall so never used but not a good look at all). One of the side table lights did not work. Lots of repeated banging/building noise throughout day nearby but that's Bali for you. Two onsite dogs one in particular would bark often when coming or leaving but were harmless, some people were scared of them. Kitchen area very basic in terms of what is provided but never really used so fine. Would stay again at right price.

Already reviewed as had two bookings but forgot to mention first booking of 5 nights which I booked months earlier I was emailed two nights prior to staying saying mistake made with booking and I would have to stay first night next door in the Amedea hotel in a hotel room! Wasn't super happy about that but did not make a fuss, they also offered return pickup from to airport but had already arranged and paid for.

Perfect location with complete privacy, quiet and calm in the centre of Seminyak. This place may not be the most fancy place i have ever stayed but definitely the one that satisfy me the most.

We love Heleconia Villa, Tirta the host is wonderful, the staff are all friendly. The linen was fresh and the pillows were fantastic, the rain head shower in the bathroom was bliss. Externally the kitchen area, the seating, pool and garden were all in really great condition.we keep coming back because it’s a real gem.
