location was good , room was big and clean

quite run down , leaky shower , wasn’t cleaned during my staff and therefore toilet roll/ towels weren’t replenished

I liked the location of the hotel and it was comfortable and good value for money. The room was a fair size and the beds comfortable . I liked having the kitchenette so that it was possible to cook . The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned on a daily basis .

On arrival, the room was unclean and maybe it had been left empty for a time. There was dust on the work surfaces and the floor was grubby. However , it was cleaned the following day. I feel the room was a little outdated and would have appreciated drawer space for clothing and a full length mirror . I also think an electric kettle would be a good idea as boiling water on the cooker took forever when you just want a quick coffee in the morning. The hair dryer attached to the wall in the bathroom was dangerous. When I plugged in to.use , it sparked and burned and could have caused a serious electrical accident. However, the hotel did go out of their way to bring up a brand new one which was appreciated.

The room (26) I did not like that much, only because it was on the ground floor and I could not open the curtain wide, therefore I had to keep the overhead light on. I would stay at this hotel again, but not in room 26.

Appart hôtel très bien placé. Proche des restaurants et à quelques mètres de la plage. Personnel super gentil et accueillant. Appartement avec tout le nécessaire. Lit XXXL ☺️ Nous avions une chambre au dessus de l'accueil donc nous étions assez tranquilles.

Pas de rideaux occultants dans la chambre donc on était réveillés très tôt.

As we were a small group we stayed at Amond tree house the 3 bedrooms apt. This place was the excellent choice for us. Really clean and spacious. The master bedroom was really big. Toilets clean and comfy. Everyday clean towels, garbage out and replaced. Staff really friendly. You can ask for Ashley when doing your booking.

The staff, cleanliness and close proximity to the beach was excellent.

The place was a bit dated but the only complaint I have is that the noise level of furniture being dragged across the upper floors when I stayed at ground level facing the pool was excruciating at times. Other than that it was wonderful.

They mis represented the Hotel. It is advertised as a Hotel but it is an apartment building that was converted to Hotel rooms. The place is run down and needs serious renovations. The metal grills around the property were rusted and damaged. There were holes in the carpets on the floor throughout the building.

Goede locatie, op 5 min lopen van Dover beach. In de nabije omgeving is er een supermarkt en een paar eettentjes. De studio is erg groot. Genoeg ruimte om je spullen op te bergen. Groot balkon. Vriendelijk personeel.

Keuken, toilet en douche waren niet schoon. Veel kalkaanslag aan de kranen en draaiknoppen, wat m.i. schoon te maken is. In de badkamer was er bij aankomst haren aan de tegels geplakt. Er komt iedere dag een schoonmaker langs maar het toilet en douche worden niet schoongemaakt. Wel worden de handdoeken vervangen en gedweild. We hebben ook gezien hoe de tegels van het zwembad werd schoongemaakt. Dat zag er niet hygienisch uit. Jammer dat er niet veel met de buitenruimte wordt gedaan. Er is een leuk hoekje met hangmatten, een ander hoekje met banken, en 1 met een picknick tafel. Het is echter op de een of andere manier niet utnodigend om daar te zitten. Je kan op dinsdag meedoen met yoga maar dat is erg onduidelijk aangegeven. In de bars in de omgeving wordt er, tot mijn verbazing, veeal jaren 80 muziek gedraaid. Dat is ook bij een aantal bars in the Gap.

Well placed, clean with big, comfortable room and nice pool, near to restaurants and shopping centre

Quite niusy at times with roosters making there things at 5am and i did have problem with noisy guests ( which isn’t hotes fault) but noisy cleaning is. Personell is very nice dough

The staff were simply amazing. Pool was great and room was very clean - top marks! There is a fab restaurant and cake shop on site. A very Special thanks to Wendy on reception who was so helpful and to our very lovely housekeeper Barbara.

Fantastic stay in the Wendy House. Felt like home and a fabulous location with easy access to everything we needed. Loved watching the parakeets from our balcony every morning. Gorgeous balcony with friendly bird visits so spent most of our time at home on that. Fab local coffee shop, recommend the rum punch. Great local Jamaican restaurant, recommend the curried goat. Loved this place so much. Stayed with my mum and we were both super happy with our lovely 2 bed Wendy House.

There was a nice set of towels and the room would be cleaned very well. I just wished someone served breakfast as it was advertised.

The neighbors were very loud and would keep me up at night. Also felt like the hotel needs elevators as we had to carry heavy luggage down a large flight of stairs.

My room 26 was awful .. no patio.. had to have curtains closed all the time as it was a thoroughfare. Dark with no windows it was like a storeroom. Staff were nice.

No windows or patio … couldn’t open curtains as everyone could look in when walking by. Patio consisted of a tiny table and 2 chairs along the thoroughfare.

Such a friendly hotel in a convenient location to the beach and eating places. It is of original Barbados style, unmodernised with plenty of character. If you want swish, sleek and very modern this hotel might not be for you, but if you like character and quirkiness you'll feel at home here

Excellent location (near Dover beach and plenty of restaurants). Pool and BBQ (but didn’t use them). Spacious and clean rooms. Very safe (security guard overnight).Very helpful and kind staff (shout out to Wendy)

Toilet didn’t flush at the start of my trip. Needed to be repaired. Rooms are older and could use basic updating.

Very spacious room, large balcony, great location and very close to the beach. Local shopping store is just around the corner from the hotel. Swimming pool and restaurant on site.

Restaurant was not open everyday of my stay. Just be aware that the hotel is three storeys and no lift, so if you struggle to carry your cases up three flights of stairs, then I recommend you confirm your concerns with the owners. The room has a fridge freezer, microwave and oven. So when you arrive you will need to do some shopping

It needs overhauling. I don’t think anything has been done to the property since it was built. Paint on doors and kitchen was thick with many coats

Location! Perfectly situated close to the beach & local amenities.

Disappointed I wasn’t allowed to use a shower on my departure day, one staff member suggested there was a shower I could use, but was overridden by another who refused. After what was a lovely stay, just left a bad taste as I left.

Very convenient to Dover beach and walkable to St. Lawrence Gap. The staff was also very friendly.

We are from Trinidad and Tobago. The receptionist Wendy is amazing. Very helpful. We encountered a minor inconvenience and she worked quickly to ensure it was corrected. We also liked that the place was quiet and not intrusive.. Although other guests were there, we felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Many food options near by and at the hotel. Irie Food Restaurant at the Hotel is awesome..food delicious and prices were reasonable. Although we didn't travel with our children... it's an option we would surely consider if we do return.

The building is obviously not modern.but that was not a bother for us....

I rhought washing maxhines were available for use. Please make it clear that their is a laundry service, not laundry machines available

Very quiet and calm environment

The apartment was very spacious and had facilities to accommodate your needs. A cooker, microwave, kettle all your basic needs. The rooms were large, could accommodate up to four to five people.and there was plenty of space to hang your clothes, and the beds were comfortable. The staff are very friendly, professional and very helpful. We had a great time, and it felt like home from home.

There's not much to dislike. It is in an area which is easy access to the various restaurants in the area. The swimming pool was a great bonus. We enjoyed it very much. Access to the breach was only five minutes walk. And there is easy access to the main town centre.

We loved our stay. Shanice, Rhianna and everyone in reception as well as hotel staff were amazing! We enjoyed grilling several meals, and swimming in the pool. The rooms were clean and spacious! The kitchen had all we needed. This was located in a great place to walk and restaurants were close to the hotel. This was a family trip with 5 adults! Thank you for helping us to make great memories!
